The main objective of the paper is to characterize multipliers of summability fields of regular methods, while relaxing the usual boundedness condition. For this purpose we use the sequence spaces of A-bounded sequences and A-uniformly integrable sequences. Among the main results, it is shown that the space of multipliers is closely related to the space of A-statistically convergent sequences and that A-statistical convergence over ?∞ is equivalent to a regular matrix method. This observation eliminates the need for separate proofs of several A-statistical convergence results. 相似文献

In this paper we study the class of square matrices A such that AA† − A†A is nonsingular, where A† stands for the Moore-Penrose inverse of A. Among several characterizations we prove that for a matrix A of order n, the difference AA† − A†A is nonsingular if and only if R(A)⊕R(A∗)=Cn,1, where R(·) denotes the range space. We show that elliptic solutions of classical Yang-Baxter equation (CYBE) can be obtained from triple Massey products on an elliptic curve. We introduce the associative version of this equation which has two spectral parameters and construct its elliptic solutions. We also study some degenerations of these solutions. 相似文献

We generalize the Ap extrapolation theorem of Rubio de Francia to A∞ weights in the context of Muckenhoupt bases. Our result has several important features. First, it can be used to prove weak endpoint inequalities starting from strong-type inequalities, something which is impossible using the classical result. Second, it provides an alternative to the technique of good-λ inequalities for proving Lp norm inequalities relating operators. Third, it yields vector-valued inequalities without having to use the theory of Banach space valued operators. We give a number of applications to maximal functions, singular integrals, potential operators, commutators, multilinear Calderón-Zygmund operators, and multiparameter fractional integrals. In particular, we give new proofs, which completely avoid the good-λ inequalities, of Coifman's inequality relating singular integrals and the maximal operator, of the Fefferman-Stein inequality relating the maximal operator and the sharp maximal operator, and the Muckenhoupt-Wheeden inequality relating the fractional integral operator and the fractional maximal operator. 相似文献

Our primary objective is to identify a natural and substantial problem about unitary similarity on arbitrary complex matrices: which 0-patterns may be achieved for any given n-by-n complex matrix via some unitary similarity of it. To this end, certain restrictions on “achievable” 0-patterns are mentioned, both positional and, more important, on the maximum number of achievable 0’s. Prior results fitting this general question are mentioned, as well as the “first” unresolved pattern (for 3-by-3 matrices!). In the process a recent question is answered.A closely related additional objective is to mention the best known bound for the maximum length of words necessary for the application of Specht’s theorem about which pairs of complex matrices are unitarily similar, which seems not widely known to matrix theorists. A construction for Segal operations for K-theory of categories with cofibrations, weak equivalences and a biexact pairing is given and coherence properties of the operations are studied. The model for K-theory, which is used, allows coherence to be studied by means of (symmetric) monoidal functors. In the case of Waldhausen A-theory it is shown how to recover the operations used in Waldhausen (Lecture Notes in Mathematics, Vol. 967, Springer, Berlin, 1982, pp. 390-409) for the A-theory Kahn-Priddy theorem. The total Segal operation for A-theory, which assembles exterior power operations, is shown to carry a natural infinite loop map structure. The basic input is the un-delooped model for K-theory, which has been developed from a construction by Grayson and Gillet for exact categories in Gunnarsson et al. (J. Pure Appl. Algebra 79 (1992) 255), and Grayson's setup for operations in Grayson (K-theory (1989) 247). The relevant material from these sources is recollected followed by observations on equivariant objects and pairings. Grayson's conditions are then translated to the context of categories with cofibrations and weak equivalences. The power operations are shown to be well behaved w.r.t. suspension and are extended to algebraic K-theory of spaces. Staying close with the philosophy of Waldhausen (1982) Waldhausen's maps are found. The Kahn-Priddy theorem follows from splitting the “free part” off the equivariant theory. The treatment of coherence of the total operation in A-theory involves results from Laplaza (Lecture Notes in Mathematics, Vol. 281, Springer, Berlin, 1972, pp. 29-65) and restriction to spherical objects in the source of the operation. 相似文献

Strong limit theory is one of the most important problems in probability theory. Some results on the convergence of pairwise NQD random sequences have been presented. This paper further analyzes the strong convergence of pairwise NQD sequences and generalizes partial results of Wu [Q.Y. Wu, Convergence properties of pairwise NQD random sequences, Acta Math. Sinica 45 (3) (2002) 617-624 (in Chinese)]. Since no general moment inequalities are given as so far, we avoid this problem and obtain a class of strong limit theorem for NQD sequences and some corresponding conclusions by use of truncation methods and generalized three series theorem, which are the supplements to the previous fruits. 相似文献

We give new characterizations of the subsets S of the unit disc of the complex plane such that the topology of the space A−∞ of holomorphic functions of polynomial growth on coincides with the topology of space of the restrictions of the functions to the set S. These sets are called weakly sufficient sets for A−∞. Our approach is based on a study of the so-called (p,q)-sampling sets which generalize the A−p-sampling sets of Seip. A characterization of (p,q)-sampling and weakly sufficient rotation invariant sets is included. It permits us to obtain new examples and to solve an open question of Khôi and Thomas. 相似文献

In [A. Biró, V.T. Sós, Strong characterizing sequences in simultaneous Diophantine approximation, J. Number Theory 99 (2003) 405–414] we proved that if Γ is a subgroup of the torus R/Z generated by finitely many independent irrationals, then there is an infinite subset AZ which characterizes Γ in the sense that for γR/Z we have ∑aAaγ<∞ if and only if γΓ. Here we consider a general compact metrizable Abelian group G instead of R/Z, and we characterize its finitely generated free subgroups Γ by subsets AG*, where G* is the Pontriagin dual of G. For this case we prove stronger forms of the analogue of the theorem of the above mentioned work, and we find necessary and sufficient conditions for a kind of strengthening of this statement to be true. 相似文献
