Titanium carbide nitride (TiCN) reinforced Ti coating was fabricated on the surface of Ti–6Al–4V alloy by laser cladding method. Microstructure and wear properties at the surface of the coating in atmosphere were investigated. Three zones can be distinguished of the coating: the clad zone (CZ), the heat affected zone (HAZ) and the substrate. The clad zone is composed of TiCN dendrites, TiO2 and Ti. A metallurgical bonding between the coating and the substrate was obtained. The microhardness and wear resistance of the TiCN/Ti coating are significantly improved. The average hardness of the coating is about 3 to 6 times of that of the substrate. The friction coefficients of the substrate and the coating are 0.48 and 0.34 respectively. The friction coefficient of the Ti–6Al–4V substrate was insensitive to the normal load, while that of the cladded TiCN/Ti coating was very sensitive to the normal load. The wear mass losses of the cladded samples are much lower than that of the substrate whatever the normal load is.  相似文献

通过X射线衍射、扫描电子显微镜、能谱仪、极化曲线和磨粒磨损实验分析,研究了不同Cr加入量对TiC-VC增强铁基激光熔覆层耐蚀性和耐磨性能的影响。结果表明:熔覆层中物相主要为α-Fe,TiC,VC和TiVC2。随着Cr加入量的增加,伴随有残余奥氏体及Cr3C2的出现,且Cr3C2呈长条状部分聚集、部分单独分布。熔覆层的耐蚀性与耐磨性随Cr加入量的增加呈现先增加后降低的趋势。熔覆粉末中加入适量的Cr元素能显著提高熔覆层的硬度与耐蚀性。当添加质量分数为3.0%的Cr时,熔覆层硬度高达1090HV0.2,且相同磨损条件下熔覆层磨损失重仅约为Q235钢的1/26;当添加质量分数为9.0%的Cr时,所得熔覆层的耐蚀性最好,约为不添加Cr时的3.26倍。  相似文献

The yttric calcium phosphate (CaP) coatings were in situ prepared on pure titanium substrate by laser cladding. The morphologies and phases constitution of CaP coatings were studied by electron probe microanalysis, X-ray diffraction and so on. The bonding state between the coating and the substrate is fine metallurgical combination, and the addition of yttria can fine the structure and increase the tensile strength of the coatings. The X-ray result shows that the coating is composed of the phases of HA, α-Ca2P2O7, β-Ca2P2O7 and CaTiO3.  相似文献

鉴于传统的激光熔覆金属陶瓷复合涂层技术主要存在2方面不足:其一,熔覆效率低,导致大面积熔覆时成本昂贵;其二,由于激光熔覆本身的特点,即快速加热与快速凝固,在激光熔覆过程中,热应力极易诱导熔覆层开裂。基于此,综述了国内外激光熔覆金属陶瓷复合涂层的研究进展,指出其存在的主要问题,并提出了激光感应复合快速熔覆的新方法,即感应预热基材的同时快速激光熔覆。该方法不仅可使熔覆效率大大提高而且获得了无裂纹的金属陶瓷复合涂层。  相似文献

激光熔覆NiCrBSi涂层组织及摩擦磨损性能   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3  
采用激光熔覆技术在H13钢表面制备了NiCrBSi合金涂层,利用OM,SEM,EDX和XRD等对熔覆层的微观组织进行了分析,测试了熔覆层的显微硬度和摩擦磨损性能。结果表明,激光熔覆层与基体形成了良好的冶金结合,熔覆层的组织主要由γ-Ni,Cr7C3和CrB等相组成。熔覆层显微硬度在650~850HV之间,明显高于H13钢基体的硬度。摩擦磨损实验表明,在相同的条件下,熔覆层的耐磨性比基体有了明显的提高,磨损体积减少了92.4%。通过对磨损后的试样进行粗糙度测试后表明,涂层具有更平滑的表面。  相似文献

The interaction of a transversely excited atmospheric (TEA) CO2 laser with chromium oxynitride (CrON) coating deposited on a AISI 304 steel substrate was considered. The results have shown that CrON was surface-modified by the laser beam of 45 J/cm2 energy density. The energy absorbed from the TEA CO2 laser beam was partially converted into thermal energy, which has generated a series of effects such as melting, vaporization of the molten material, and shock waves in the vapor and in the solid. Morphological manifestations on the CrON coating surface can be summarized as follows: non-uniform features with ablation and appearance of crater-like form (central zone of interaction); appearance of three damaged areas and presence of hydrodynamic effects with resolidified droplets (periphery zone of interaction). Amorphous composite coatings Fe38Ni30−XSi16B14V2MX (X = 0, 1, 2) (M contains Al, Ti, Mo, and C) were prepared with low purity of raw materials by laser cladding. X-ray diffraction and transmission electron microscopy results show that the coating have an amorphous structure with a few crystalline phase on it. The amorphous phase is the primary phase. The glass forming ability as well as the microhardness of the Fe-based alloy made from low purity raw materials can be much enhanced by adding small amount of multi-components. However, the elements addition has its optimal quantity. When X is equal to 1, the microstructure of the coating contains 97.93% amorphous phase and 2.07% crystalline phase on it. As a result, the microhardness of the coating reaches maximum. With further increasing of the additions, the amorphous phase in the coating lessens instead of augment and the crystalline phase begins to accumulate, which result in the decrease of the microhardness.  相似文献

通过脉冲激光器(Nd-YAG)在AZ91D镁合金基底上熔覆Al+SiC粉体。采用扫描电子显微镜、能量色散谱(EDS)和X-射线衍射测定分析熔覆层的显微组织、化学成分和物相组成。研究表明:Al+SiC涂层主要由SiC,b-Mg17Al12及Mg和Al相组成,激光熔覆层与镁合金基底表现出良好的冶金结合。所有样品都具有树枝状结构,且随着SiC质量分数的增大,树枝状和胞状结构的间隔变得更大。熔覆涂层的表面硬度高于基底,并且随着熔覆层中的SiC质量分数的增加而增大,SiC质量分数为40%的熔覆层具有最大的显微硬度,达到180 HV,然而质量分数为10%的熔覆层硬度为136 HV。销盘滑动磨损试验表明,复合涂层中的SiC颗粒和原位合成的Mg17Al12相显著提高了AZ91D镁合金的耐磨损性,其中,SiC质量分数从10%增加到30%过程中磨损体积损失逐渐减少,SiC质量分数在20%~30%时熔覆层具有最好的耐磨性。  相似文献

Pulsed laser deposition of hard coatings in atmospheric air   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
A new laser plasma technique for non-vacuum deposition of thin films has been proposed and experimentally realized. It is based on the fact that the plasma plume, which occurs under ablation of a target in air by high-intensity short laser pulses, can penetrate through a dense gas environment without significant cooling at the distance of about 1 mm. The technique has been applied to deposit diamond-like carbon (DLC) coatings on stainless steel substrates using four different values of pulse duration: 10 ns, 300 ps, 5 ps and 130 fs. Optimization of different experimental parameters including distance between the target and the substrate, laser intensity and gases (He, Ar, N2, compressed air) blown in the deposition zone, has been performed. The deposition rate in the experiments was estimated as 2–5×10-4 nm/(cm2pulse) for the pulse energy of 1–4 mJ. The deposited amorphous carbon films with thickness of several hundred nanometers have shown high average nanohardness (10–25 GPa depending on the irradiation conditions) and good adhesion to substrates (60 MPa). According to X-ray electron spectroscopy analysis the films consist of both sp2- and sp3-bonded carbon and contain 3–7% of free oxygen in bulk. The mechanisms of DLC non-vacuum laser deposition are discussed. To demonstrate the large potential of this technique, the first results on deposition of titanium nitride using ablation of titanium in air with nitrogen jet assistance are also presented. 采用激光熔覆技术在45钢基体上制备了不同CeO2含量的镍基纳米Al2O3复合涂层,对熔覆层进行了微观组织分析和显微硬度测试。结果表明,随着CeO2含量的增加,熔覆层组织由亚共晶向共晶组织转变;加入1.0%CeO2对镍基纳米Al2O3熔覆层的组织起到明显的细化和净化作用,枝晶生长的方向性减弱,组织趋向均匀,熔覆涂层的显微硬度值比未加稀土的涂层提高了60-95HV0.2。  相似文献

The present work has investigated the influence of direct aging treatment on the precipitation sequence and properties of the Cu-15Ni-8Sn alloy coatings prepared by laser cladding. The experimental results show that the tendency of Sn segregation in the conventional Cu-15Ni-8Sn solidification microstructure is effectively relieved. Before aging, there are only two phases in the coating: the α-Cu solid solution dendrites with 7 wt.% Sn solubility, and a small fraction of Sn-enriched δ-phase at the interdendrites in rapid solidified microstructure. After the coating was directly aged at 370 °C without traditional solution pretreatment, the α-Cu solid solution dendrites experience precipitations in the order of pure spinodal decomposition, DO22-ordered structure and discontinue γ-DO3. The microhardness of the coating treated by direct aging reached 390 HV 0.5, which was higher than that treated by conventional solution and aging process owing to the solidified fine grains and hardening effect of spinodal decomposition. In addition, the Sn-enriched δ-phase at the interdendrites also decomposes to laminar discontinuous precipitated γ-DO3 phase after aging. Precipitation sequence and properties of the clad coatings change obviously during the direct aging treatment.  相似文献

Ti-Al coatings with ∼14.7, 18.1, 25.2 and 29.7 at.% Al contents were fabricated on pure Ti substrate by laser cladding. The laser cladding Ti-Al coatings were analyzed with X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM) and X-ray energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS). It was found that with the increase of Al content, the diffraction peaks shifted gradually to higher 2θ values. The laser cladding Ti-Al coatings with 14.7 and 18.1 at.% Al were composed of α-Ti and α2-Ti3Al phases, while those with 25.2 and 29.7 at.% Al were composed of α2-Ti3Al phase. With the increase of Al content, the cross-sectional hardness increased, while the fracture toughness decreased. For the laser cladding Ti-Al coatings, when the Al content was ≤18.1 at.%, the wear mechanism was adhesive wear and abrasive wear; while when the Al content ≥25.2 at.%, the wear mechanism was adhesive wear, abrasive wear and microfracture. With the increase of Al content, the wear rate of laser cladding Ti-Al coatings decreased under 1 N normal load, while the wear rate firstly decreased and then increased under a normal load of 3 N. Due to its optimized combination of high hardness and high fracture toughness, the laser cladding Ti-Al coating with 18.1 at.% Al showed the best anti-wear properties at higher normal load.  相似文献

The carck-free Fe-based +20 wt% WC coating with large area was produced by mutli-track overlapping laser induction hybrid rapid cladding. The results showed that the maximum laser scanning speed and the maximum feeding rate of powder can be increased to 3500 mm/min and 120 g/min, respectively. The cast WC particles were dissolved almost completely and had a worse wettability with Fe-based metal matrix. The precipitated carbides such as M12C and M23C6 (M=Fe, W, Cr) formed an intergranular network around the primary Fe-based phase enriched with tungsten. The microhardness of coating decreased first, and then increased slightly with an increase in the track. The first track had the highest microhardness (i.e. 870HV0.2). Moreover, the wear weight of coating approximately had a linear relationship with the sliding distance, and increased with an increase in the sliding speed. The wear rate approximately remained constant with an increase in the sliding distance and was two times lower than that of the hardened steel AISI 1045 with a hardness of 60HRC. The wear mechanism during the dry sliding wear was a combination of oxidation wear and abrasion wear.  相似文献

Nanocrystalline coatings of TiC and TiB2 were grown by pulsed laser deposition on Si(100) and on X155 steel at low substrate temperatures ranging from 40 °C to 650 °C. A pulsed KrF excimer laser was used with the deposition chamber at a base pressure of 10-6 mbar. The morphology and structure of the films, studied with SEM, XRD, and TEM, showed that nanocrystalline films with a fine morphology of TiC and TiB2 were deposited with a grain size of 10 nm-70 nm at all substrate temperatures. The growth of the polycrystalline coatings possessed a columnar morphology with a 𘜄¢ preferred orientation. The hardness of the coatings was determined to be 40 GPa and the elastic modulus, 240 GPa. The composition and the kinetics of the plume produced during the pulsed laser deposition of TiC and TiB2 was studied under film growth conditions. The mass analysis of ions of the ejected material was performed by time-of-flight mass spectroscopy (TOF-MS) and showed the presence of Ti+ and C+ during TiC ablation and B+, B2+, and Ti+ during TiB2 ablation. The kinetic energies (KE) of the ions depended on the laser fluence which was between 0.5 eV and 340 eV. The kinetic energy and the evolution of the plasma was studied with a streak camera. The velocity of the plasma was of the order of 106 cm/sec and was linearly dependent on the energy fluence of the laser. The emission spectroscopy of the plasma plume confirmed the atomic neutral and single excited species of Ti. These results show that coating growth basically occurs by the recombination of the ionic species at the surface of the substrate.  相似文献

Ni-based WC composite coatings by laser induction hybrid rapid cladding (LIHRC) with elliptical spot were investigated. Results indicate that the efficiency using the elliptical spot of 6 mm × 4 mm (the major and minor axis of laser beam are 6 mm and 4 mm, respectively, the major axis is parallel to the direction of laser scanning) is higher than that using the elliptical spot of 4 mm × 6 mm (the major axis is perpendicular to the direction of laser scanning). The precipitated carbides with the blocky and bar-like shape indicate that WC particles suffer from the heat damage of “the disintegration pattern + the growth pattern”, whichever elliptical spot is used at low laser scanning speed. However, at high laser scanning speed, the blocky carbides are only formed if the elliptical spot of 6 mm × 4 mm is adopted, showing that WC particles present the heat damage of “the disintegration pattern”, whereas the fine carbides are precipitated when the elliptical spot of 4 mm × 6 mm is used, showing that WC particles take on the heat damage of “the radiation pattern”. Especially, the efficiency of LIHRC is increased much four times higher than that of the general laser cladding and crack-free ceramic-metal coatings can be obtained.  相似文献

Multi-layer Co-based alloy (HMSP 2537) were deposited on Ni-based superalloy plate with a TJ-TL-T5000 type CO2 laser. Sections of such coatings were examined to reveal their microstructure and phase composition using optical microscope, scanning electron microscope (SEM), and X-ray diffractometer (XRD). The hardness and wear resistance of the coatings were tested. The results showed that the prime phase (γ-Co dendrite) and other phases, such as CrNi, Co7W6, and Cr23C6 existed in the coatings. Dendrite or cellular microstructures were observed perpendicular to the interface, and coarsening microstructures were obtained as more layers deposited. Dendrite paralleling to laser scan speed was also found near the top surface of the last layer. Fine microstructures of γ-Co dendrite and lamellar eutectic in inter-dendritic regions strengthened the coatings. Microhardness and wear resistance of the coatings were much higher than that of substrate but slightly decreased with layers increased.  相似文献

利用TFCalc膜系设计软件,从理论上对激光防护多层反射膜的光学性能进行了分析。计算了各个膜系的理论投射率曲线。分析了各个因素(如膜系结构、膜层奇偶性、起膜材料)对膜层光学性质的影响。并设计了以ZrO2和SiO2为膜层材料,聚碳酸酯(PC)为基体材料,可以同时防护532nm和1064nm波长激光的1∶2型多层反射薄膜。在532nm和1064nm处的理论透过率都达到了0.01%(光学密度D=4)。并在PC镜片表面镀上23层1∶5型激光反射膜,对理论设计进行验证。对其在400nm~1200nm波长范围内的光学性能进行了测试,测试结果与理论计算值基本吻合。  相似文献
