We show that D-branes in the Euclidean AdS 3 can be naturally associated to the maximally isotropic subgroups of the Lu–Weinstein double of SU(2). This picture makes very transparent the residual loop group symmetry of the D-brane configurations and gives also immediately the D-branes shapes and the σ-model boundary conditions in the de Sitter T-dual of the SL(2,C)/SU(2) WZW model.  相似文献

We present a modified formulation of minimal N = 1 linearized supergravity coupled to generic N = 1 supersymmetric matter. The formalism is based on the superprojectors, superspin-transition operators, vector and scalar superfield. Such approach has some advantages for finding superpropagators. We give character formulas for the positive energy unitary irreducible representations of the N-extended D = 4 conformal superalgebras su(2, 2/N). Using these, we also derive decompositions of long superfields as they descend to the unitarity threshold. These results are also applicable to irreps of the complex Lie superalgebras sl(4/N). Our derivations use results from the representation theory of su(2, 2/N) developed as early as the 1980s. The text was submitted by the author in English.  相似文献

We find exact solutions to the Dirac equation in D-dimensional de Sitter spacetime. Using these solutions we analytically calculate the de Sitter quasinormal (QN) frequencies of the Dirac field. For the massive Dirac field this computation is similar to that previously published for massive fields of half-integer spin moving in four dimensions. However to calculate the QN frequencies of the massless Dirac field we must use distinct methods in odd and even dimensions, therefore the computation is different from that already known for other massless fields of integer spin.  相似文献

We analyze the concept of a nondegenerate superintegrable system in n-dimensional Euclidean space. Attached to this idea is the notion that every such system affords a separation of variables in one of the various types of generic elliptical coordinates that are possible in complex Euclidean space. An analysis of how these coordinates are arrived at in terms of their expression in terms of Cartesian coordinates is presented in detail. The use of well-defined limiting processes illustrates just how all these systems can be obtained from the most general nondegenerate superintegrable system in n-dimensional Euclidean space. Two examples help with the understanding of how the general results are obtained. The text was submitted by the authors in English.  相似文献

The issue of and ππ S-wave amplitude is addressed using decays of D-mesons. Model-independent measurements of the phases of the π + π + and K - π + S-wave amplitude from D +π - π + π + and D +K - π + π + decays are discussed. The result indicates a deviation from the phase of the K - π + S-wave amplitude obtained by scattering experiments. This could be interpreted as an indication of the presence of 3-body final-state interaction, or in other words, that the phases from production and scattering process cannot be directly compared.  相似文献

As a continuation of Sadallah et al. work (M. Sadallah, S. Muslih and D. Baleanu, Equations of motion for Einstein’s field in non-integer dimensional space. Czechoslov. J. Phys. 56:323, 2006), the fractional action function S is given as an integration over fractional spatial dimension D s and fractional time D t dimension. The variational principle which minimize S leads to Euler-Lagrange equations of motion in D s +D t fractional dimensions. As an example we extend our study to obtain the equations of motion for Einstein’s field in fractional D s +D t fractional dimensions of N+1 space-time coordinates. It is shown that the time dependent solutions are single valued for only D s =4 dimensional space. Also the angular solutions are convergent for any value of D s .  相似文献

The semileptonic decay Bπ is studied starting from a simple quark model that takes into into account the effect of the B*-resonance. A novel, multiply subtracted, Omnès dispersion relation has been implemented to extend the predictions of the quark model to all q2 values accessible in the physical decay. By comparison to the experimental data, we extract | V ub| = (3.4±0.2(exp.)±0.7(theory))0-3. As a further test of the model, we have also studied Dπ and DK decays for which we get good agreement with experiment.  相似文献

The consequences of CP and CPT invariance for production and subsequent decay of Dirac and Majorana fermions in polarized fermion-antifermion annihilation are analytically studied. We derive general symmetry relations for the production spin density matrix and for the three-particle decay matrices and obtain constraints for the polarization and the spin-spin correlations of Dirac and Majorana fermions. We prove that only for Majorana fermions the energy and opening angle distribution factorizes exactly into contributions from production and decay if CP is conserved. Representations of the sq(2) algebra are constructed in the space of polynomials of real (complex) variable for qN=1. The spin addition rule based on eigenvalues of Casimir operator is illustrated on few simplest cases and conjecture for general case is formulated.  相似文献

The concept of ‘D-Differentiation’, which, in the context of smooth manifolds, generalises Lie and covariant differentiation, is extended to R  ∞ -supermanifolds under the name of ‘Super D-Differentiation’. This is done by defining new (non-linear) mappings, called ‘μ-mappings’ and by relating their non-linearity to the Leibniz rule that a derivation must satisfy when it acts on a tensor product. The resulting axiomatics, which is basis-independent and coordinate-free, is then expressed in a general basis (not necessarily holonomic). Super Lie and Super covariant differentiation are, amongst others, special cases of Super D-Differentiation. In particular, the transformation rules for the connection coefficients and the commutation coefficients of non-holonomic bases are obtained. These special cases are found to be in agreement with the DeWitt Super covariant and Super Lie derivatives.   相似文献

In this paper a Weyl scale-invariant p = 3-brane scenario is introduced, with the brane embedded in a higher-dimensional bulk space with N = 1, 5D Super-Weyl symmetry. Its action, which describes its long wave oscillation modes into the ambient superspace and breaks the target symmetry down to the lower dimensional Weyl W(1, 3) symmetry, is constructed by the approach of coset method.  相似文献

Given a collection of N solutions of the (3 + 1) Einstein constraint equations which are asymptotically Euclidean and vacuum near infinity, we show how to construct a new solution of the constraints which is itself asymptotically Euclidean, and which contains specified sub-regions of each of the N given solutions. This generalizes earlier work which handled the time-symmetric case, thus providing a construction of large classes of initial data for the many body problem in general relativity.  相似文献

In this paper, the Feynman path integral technique is applied for superintegrable potentials on two-dimensional spaces of nonconstant curvature: these spaces are Darboux spaces D I and D II. On D I, there are three, and on D II four such potentials. We are able to evaluate the path integral in most of the separating coordinate systems, leading to expressions for the Green functions, the discrete and continuous wave-functions, and the discrete energy-spectra. In some cases, however, the discrete spectrum cannot be stated explicitly, because it is either determined by a transcendental equation involving parabolic cylinder functions (Darboux space I), or by a higher order polynomial equation. The solutions on D I in particular show that superintegrable systems are not necessarily degenerate. We can also show how the limiting cases of flat space (constant curvature zero) and the two-dimensional hyperboloid (constant negative curvature) emerge. We investigate the solitons in the CP N model in terms of the decomposition of gauge potential. Based on the φ-mapping topological current theory, the charge and position of solitons is determined by the properties of the typical component. Furthermore, the motion and the bifurcation of multi-soliton is discussed. And the knotted solitons in high dimension is explored also.  相似文献

Under some plausible assumptions, we find that the dual formulation of linearized gravity in D=5 can be nontrivially coupled to the topological BF model in such a way that the interacting theory exhibits a deformed gauge algebra and some deformed, on-shell reducibility relations. Moreover, the tensor field with the mixed symmetry (2,1) gains some shift gauge transformations with parameters from the BF sector.  相似文献

The interacting boson model with isospin (IBM-3) was applied to study the band structure and electromagnetic transition properties of the low-lying states in the even-even N = Z nucleus 52Fe. The isospin excitation states with T = 0, 1 and 2 were identified, and compared with the available data. The study shows that the 23+ state is the lowest mixed symmetry state in 52Fe. The excitation energy of the second 02+ state with T = 0 in nucleus 52Fe was identified. The model calculations with the data show a reasonably good agreement. We study the ground state phase diagram of the two dimensional tt′ — U Hubbard model concentrating on the competition between antiferro-, ferro-, and paramagnetism. It is known that unrestricted Hartree–Fock- and quantum Monte Carlo calculations for this model predict inhomogeneous states in large regions of the parameter space. Standard mean field theory, i.e., Hartree–Fock theory restricted to homogeneous states, fails to produce such inhomogeneous phases. We show that a generalization of the mean field method to the grand canonical ensemble circumvents this problem and predicts inhomogeneous states, represented by mixtures of homogeneous states, in large regions of the parameter space. We present phase diagrams which differ considerably from previous mean field results but are consistent with, and extend, results obtained with more sophisticated methods. We use the decomposition of o(3, 1) = sl(2; ℂ)1 ⊕sl(2; ℂ)2 in order to describe nonstandard quantum deformation of o(3, 1) linked with Jordanian deformation of sl(2; ℂ). Using the twist quantization technique, we obtain the deformed coproducts and antipodes, which can be expressed in terms of real physical Lorentz generators. We describe the extension of the considered deformation of D = 4 Lorentz algebra to the twist deformation of D = 4 Poincare algebra with dimensionless deformation parameter.
