Topological existence and stability for stackelberg problems   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
The aim of this paper is to study, in a topological framework, existence and stability for the solutions to a parametrized Stackelberg problem. To this end, approximate solutions are used, more precisely, -solutions and strict -solutions. The results given are of minimal character and the standard types of constraints are considered, that is, constant constraints, constraints defined by a finite number of inequalities, and more generally constraints defined by an arbitrary multifunction.  相似文献

The existence of Silnikov‘s orbits in a four-dimensional dynamical system is discussed. The existence of Silnikov‘s orbit resulting in chaotic dynamics is established by the fiber structure of invariant manifold and high-dimensional Melnikov method. Let G be a transitive permutation group on a set and m a positive integer. If | – | m for every subset of and all g G, then || 2mp/(p – 1) where p is the least odd prime dividing |G|. It was shown by Mann and Praeger [13] that, for p = 3, the 3-groups G which attain this bound have exponent p. Given a family of real-valued functions defined in a normed vector space X, we study a class of -convex functions having a simpler representation for the --subdifferential. The case =X* with X being a Banach space (the Fenchel case) is particularly analysed, and we find that the sublinear lower semicontinuous functions satisfy the simpler representation with respect to X*. As a side result, we provide various new subdifferential-type charaterizations of positively homogeneous functions among those which are lower semicontinuous and convex. In addition, we also discuss that family related to the the so-called prox-bounded functions. Given a fixed point free antianalytic involution k of a domain G in thecomplex plane, bounded by a finite number of analytic curves, k-invariant Greensfunctions are defined on G. The Lindelöfs principle is extended to k-invariantGreens functions. When G is the annulus, k-invariant Greens functions areobtained in the explicit form. Since the factorization of the annulus by the group kgenerated by k produces a Möbius strip, the respective result helped us to obtain explicitforms for Greens functions on the Möbius strip.  相似文献

The most famous open problem involving domination in graphs is Vizings conjecture which states the domination number of the Cartesian product of any two graphs is at least as large as the product of their domination numbers. In this paper, we investigate a similar problem for total domination. In particular, we prove that the product of the total domination numbers of any nontrivial tree and any graph without isolated vertices is at most twice the total domination number of their Cartesian product, and we characterize the extremal graphs.Research supported in part by the South African National Research Foundation and the University of KwaZulu-Natal  相似文献

For a stochastic process with absolutely continuous sample path derivative, a formula for the joint density of (T, Z), the position and height of the global maximum of in a closed interval, is given. The formula is derived using the generalized Rices formula. The presented result can be applied both to stationary and non-stationary processes under mild assumptions on the process. The formula for the density is explicit but involves integrals that have to be computed using numerical integration. We consider the problem of finding a point in the intersection of an affine set with a compact convex set, called a convex linear system (CLS). The conditional gradient method is known to exhibit a sublinear rate of convergence. Exploiting the special structure of (CLS), we prove that the conditional gradient method applied to the equivalent minimization formulation of (CLS), converges to a solution at a linear rate, under the sole assumption that Slaters condition holds for (CLS). The rate of convergence is measured explicitly in terms of the problems data and a Slater point. Application to a class of conic linear systems is discussed.Acknowldegements.
