Palladium on carbon is used as a precatalyst for Suzuki-Miyaura reaction of aryl chlorides and aryl boronic acids. An efficient catalyst system is obtained that allows the reaction of substrates that are difficult to couple under ligand free conditions. This includes electron rich and sterically hindered aryl chlorides as well as electron deficient and sterically hindered boronic acids. We have discovered that the amount of ligand needed to catalyze these reactions can be significantly decreased by incorporating an incubation period. This study also provides valuable insight into the mechanism of the Pd/C-catalyzed Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling. For example, mercury poisoning studies provide evidence that the active catalytic species is homogeneous. However, catalyst reuse and low metal contamination indicate that this system retains many of the advantages of a heterogeneous catalyst. From these results, a catalytic cycle is proposed. 相似文献

A family of air-stable amide-derived phosphine (Aphos) ligands engineered on simple N,N-dialkyl aryl amide scaffolds has been designed and prepared by one-pot synthesis from the amides in high yields. The Aphos ligands have been used, in analogous to their atropisomeric variations, as hemilabile bidentate P,O-ligands in various Pd-catalyzed C-N and C-C bond forming reactions. We present here our results on the highly efficient Suzuki cross-coupling reactions of unactivated and/or sterically hindered aryl chlorides with arylboronic acids and a relationship of Aphos structures with catalytic efficacy. 相似文献

The first investigation of air- and moisture-stable diaminophosphine oxides as preligands in the Ni-catalyzed Suzuki cross-coupling reactions of aryl chlorides with arylboronic acids has been reported. The results show that under the optimized reaction conditions, the new catalytic system with a Ni(II) σ-aryl complex as precatalyst and a diaminophosphine oxide as preligand tolerates a variety of functional groups and is efficient for both electron-rich and electron-deficient aryl chlorides, though it shows higher efficiency for activated arylboronic acids than deactivated ones. Steric effects were observed for both aryl chlorides and arylboronic acids. 相似文献

[reaction: see text] A novel class of planar chiral electron-rich monophosphine ligands has been developed. The modular design allows a short and efficient synthesis of an array of aryl-ferrocenyl derivatives carrying the donating bis(dicyclohexyl)phosphino moiety. These new ligands have successfully been applied in the palladium-catalyzed Suzuki cross-coupling of activated as well as nonactivated aryl chlorides at room temperature. The asymmetric coupling of an aryl bromide and an aryl boronic acid was also tested, giving ees up to 54%. 相似文献

A variety of triazole-based monophosphines (ClickPhos) have been prepared via efficient 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition of readily available azides and acetylenes. Their palladium complexes provided excellent yields in the amination reactions and Suzuki-Miyaura coupling reactions of unactivated aryl chlorides. Ligand 7i, which has a 2,6-dimethoxybenzene moiety, provided good results in Suzuki-Miyaura reaction to form hindered biaryls. A CAChe model for the Pd/7i complex shows that the likelihood of a Pd-arene interaction might be a rationale for its high catalytic reactivity. 相似文献

[reaction: see text] The microwave-promoted Suzuki coupling reaction of aryl chlorides with boronic acids performed in an aqueous media was studied using the air- and moisture-stable catalyst POPd2 (dihydrogen di-mu-chlorodichlorobis(di-tert-butylphosphinito-kappaP)dipalladate (2-)). This catalyst system under microwave conditions (150 degrees C, 15 min) provided coupled products with yields ranging from 64% to 99%. A detailed investigation into the influence of phosphines, additives, bases and solvents on the Heck coupling reaction of 4-trifluoromethyl-1-chlorobenzene (2) is presented. It is shown that a number of catalyst systems exist for efficient cross coupling of electron-deficient aryl chlorides with various olefins. Basicity and steric demand of the ligand are two factors which determine the success of the reaction. In addition the phosphine/palladium ratio, the correct type and amount of additive, and finally the use of an appropriate base and solvent are also important. The optimised reaction conditions are applied for the arylation of styrene, 2-ethylhexyl acrylate and N,N-dimethyl acrylic amide with various aryl chlorides. 相似文献

An air-stable and easy-to-handle nickel precatalyst, (9-phenanthrenyl)Ni(II)(PPh3)2Cl, was examined for the cross-coupling reactions of aryl tosylates with arylboronic acids. Under the optimized reaction conditions, the catalytic system tolerates a wide range of activated, neutral and deactivated substrates. The selectivity of this cross-coupling reaction towards aryl tosylates and arylboronic acids has been investigated. Palladium-catalyzed Hiyama cross-coupling of aryltrifluorosilanes with aryl and heteroaryl chlorides
An efficient, palladium-catalyzed Hiyama cross-coupling reaction of aryltrifluorosilanes with aryl chlorides has been developed. A wide variety of functionalized biaryl derivatives were isolated in good to excellent yields.
