The velocity of a particle detector in granular flow can be regarded as the combination of rolling and sliding velocities. The study of the contribution of rolling velocity and sliding velocity provides a new explanation to the relative motion between the detector and the local granular flow. In this study, a spherical detector using embedded inertial navigation technology is placed in the chute granular flow to study the movement of the detector relative to the granular flow. It is shown by particle image velocimetry (PIV) that the velocity of chute granular flow conforms to Silbert's formula. And the velocity of the detector is greater than that of the granular flow around it. By decomposing the velocity into sliding and rolling velocity, it is indicated that the movement of the detector relative to the granular flow is mainly caused by rolling. The rolling detail shown by DEM simulation leads to two potential mechanisms based on the position and drive of the detector.  相似文献

The statistical properties of velocity gradients in a wall-bounded turbulent channel flow are discussed on the basis of three-dimensional direct numerical simulations. Our analysis is concentrated on the trend of the statistical properties of the local enstrophy and the energy dissipation rate with increasing distance from the wall. We detect a sensitive dependence of the largest amplitudes of both fields (which correspond with the tail of the distribution) on the spectral resolution. The probability density functions of each single field as well as their joint distribution vary significantly with increasing distance from the wall. The largest fluctuations of the velocity gradients are found in the logarithmic layer. This is in agreement with recent experiments which observe a bursting of hairpin vortex packets into the logarithmic region.  相似文献

从研究微观个体车辆行为出发,考虑车辆加速过程的不确定性,提出了随机计及相对速度的 交通流跟驰模型(SR-OV模型).对随机相对速度的跟驰模型的动力学方程进行稳定性分析,得 到与Bando跟驰模型不同的稳定性判据,其稳定性优于Bando模型.运用摄动理论分析交通过 程中密度波的变化,结果表明,在发生交通阻塞相变时,交通密度波以mKdV方程描述的扭结 -反扭结波演化.对随机相对速度跟驰模型进行数值模拟和分析,结果发现车流速度的变化小 于Bando模型的速度变化,而且与随机概率有关,当随机考虑相对速度的概率增大时,初始 的小扰动不会放大对车流产生影响,甚至长时间就消失,这与Bando模型完全不同.数值模拟 所得到的相图与解析解相符合,而且交通流稳定区域大于Bando模型.从车间距-速度演化图上 ,随着随机概率的增大,SR-OV模型在初始时存在的滞后现象,随着时间的增长,趋于稳定 状态后,滞后曲线收敛于一小区域,滞后效应被削弱.这完全不同于Bando模型,在Bando模 型中,滞后曲线由一点向外扩散,滞后曲线区域越来越大,车流趋于不稳定状态. 关键词: 交通流 跟驰模型 稳定性判据 相对速度  相似文献

声矢量传感器及其组阵方式的研究已成为水声领域的热门课题。该文研究了当单自由度矢量传感器(质点振速传感器)的观测方向沿直线阵轴线方向时的空间均匀噪声场中两阵元的噪声相关系数,然后采用Gram-Schmidt模态波束分解与综合方法推导了高阶超指向性的最优解,得到了直线阵端射方向的指向性指数和稳健性水平。仿真研究表明,当d / λ < 0.5 (d为阵元间距,λ为波长)时,质点振速传感器直线阵(简称质点振速阵)采用超指向性方法在端射方向的指向性指数略高于声压传感器直线阵(简称声压阵);而当d / λ > 0.5时,质点振速阵的指向性指数远远高于声压阵。该文的研究内容对水下声纳系统中质点振速传感器的有效组阵和实际应用具有一定的参考价值。  相似文献

采用“虚源法”分析计算了浅海波导环境中接收点处点源总振速方向与水平面夹角,侧重讨论确定性界面反射对总振速方向的影响。研究结果表明:总振速方向和接收点与声源的水平距离、两者深度,海底、海面特性以及声速剖面等有关。在等声速均匀浅海波导中,由于确定性界面反射的影响,当直达声掠射角为1°~50°时,合成总振速方向偏离直达声方向达1.5°~10.5°,声速剖面呈负梯度时,偏离程度更甚.  相似文献

The dynamics of fluid particles in the vicinity of a self-propagating vortex pair, embedded in a nonstationary shear flow, is studied. When the shear flow is steady, the vicinity of the pair, which is called as a vortex atmosphere, consists of closed stream-lines, which coincide with fluid particles? trajectories. When the shear flow is nonstationary, the trajectories? behaviour changes drastically, then chaotic advection occurs. It is shown in the Letter that the vortex pair propagation velocity varies with the parameters (amplitude, and frequency) of the nonstationary shear flow. It is demonstrated, that changing of the mean velocity leads to changing of the size of the atmosphere.  相似文献

Using high-resolution direct numerical simulations, the height and Reynolds number dependence of high-order statistics of the energy dissipation rate and local enstrophy are examined in incompressible, fully developed turbulent channel flow. The statistics are studied over a range of wall distances, spanning the viscous sublayer to the channel flow centerline, for friction Reynolds numbers Reτ=180 and Reτ=381. The high resolution of the simulations allows dissipation and enstrophy moments up to fourth order to be calculated. These moments show a dependence on wall distance, and Reynolds number effects are observed at the edge of the logarithmic layer. Conditional analyses based on locations of intense rotation are also carried out in order to determine the contribution of vortical structures to the dissipation and enstrophy moments. Our analysis shows that, for the simulation at the larger Reynolds number, small-scale fluctuations of both dissipation and enstrophy show relatively small variations for z+?100.  相似文献

The sound velocity and the attenuation coefficient of EPDM (Ethylene-propylene Diene Monomer) composites incorporated with Silicon Carbide particles (SiCp’s) of various volume fractions (0-40%) were experimentally and theoretically investigated. For the experiment a through-transmission technique was used. For the theoretical prediction, some mechanical property models such as Reuss model and Coherent Potential Approximation (CPA) model etc. were employed. The experimental results showed that the sound velocity decreased with the increase of the SiCp volume fraction up to 30% and then increased with the 40 vol% specimen. The attenuation coefficient was increased with the increasing SiCp volume fractions. The modified Reuss model with a longitudinal elastic modulus predicted most well the experimental sound velocity and elastic modulus results.  相似文献

The dynamics of giant lipid vesicles under shear flow is experimentally investigated. Consistent with previous theoretical and numerical studies, two flow regimes are identified depending on the viscosity ratio between the interior and the exterior of the vesicle, and its reduced volume or excess surface. At low viscosity ratios, a tank-treading motion of the membrane takes place, the vesicle assuming a constant orientation with respect to the flow direction. At higher viscosity ratios, a tumbling motion is observed in which the whole vesicle rotates with a periodically modulated velocity. When the shear rate increases, this tumbling motion becomes increasingly sensitive to vesicle deformation due to the elongational component of the flow and significant deviations from simpler models are observed. A good characterization of these various flow regimes is essential for the validation of analytical and numerical models, and to relate microscopic dynamics to macroscopic rheology of suspensions of deformable particles, such as blood.  相似文献

With the PDPA (Phase Doppler Particle Analyzer) measurement technology, the probability distributions of particle impact and lift-off velocities on bed surface and the particle velocity distributions at different heights are detected in a wind tunnel. The results show that the probability distribution of impact and lift-off velocities of sand grains can be expressed by a log-normal function, and that of impact and lift-off angles complies with an exponential function. The mean impact angle is between 28° and 39°, and the mean lift-off angle ranges from 30° to 44°. The mean lift-off velocity is 0.81–0.9 times the mean impact velocity. The proportion of backward-impacting particles is 0.05–0.11, and that of backward-entrained particles ranges from 0.04 to 0.13. The probability distribution of particle horizontal velocity at 4 mm height is positive skew, the horizontal velocity of particles at 20 mm height varies widely, and the variation of the particle horizontal velocity at 80 mm height is less than that at 20 mm height. The probability distribution of particle vertical velocity at different heights can be described as a normal function. Using bare Argonne V4' (AV4'), V6' (AV6'), and V8' (AV8') nucleon–nucleon (begin{document}$NN$end{document}) interactions, the nuclear equations of state (EOSs) for neutron matter are calculated with the unitary correlation operator and high-momentum pair methods. Neutron matter is described using a finite particle number approach with magic number begin{document}$N=66$end{document} under a periodic boundary condition. The central short-range correlation originating from the short-range repulsion in the begin{document}$NN$end{document} interaction is treated by the unitary correlation operator method (UCOM), and the tensor correlation and spin-orbit effects are described by the two-particle two-hole (2p2h) excitations of nucleon pairs, where the two nucleons with a large relative momentum are regarded as a high-momentum (HM) pair. With increasing 2p2h configurations, the total energy per particle of the neutron matter is well-converged under this UCOM+HM framework. Comparing the results calculated with AV4', AV6', and AV8' begin{document}$NN$end{document} interactions, we demonstrate the effects of the short-range correlation, tensor correlation, and spin-orbit coupling on the density dependence of the total energy per particle of neutron matter. Moreover, the contribution of each Hamiltonian component to the total energy per particle is discussed. The EOSs of neutron matter calculated within the present UCOM+HM framework agree with the calculations of six microscopic many-body theories, especially the auxiliary field-diffusion Monte Carlo calculations.  相似文献

气液两相流在工业各领域中广泛存在,而声速是描述其声学性质的一个重要参数。本文从流体的体积弹性模量的定义出发,推导了气液两相流中的声速随含气率的变化关系式,即混合流体的Wood声速公式,将其声速的部分计算结果和其他作者的实验数据进行了比较,吻合良好。并通过COMSOL有限元模拟软件得到不同气体分布下圆管谐振腔最低阶模式的共振频率,间接数值模拟研究了含气率对声速的影响。模拟结果与理论计算结果一致,当气液两相流中含气率较低时,声速随含气率的增大急剧减小。本研究结果为确定声速与气液两相流中的含气率间的关系提供了参考依据。  相似文献

A hybrid two-phase numerical methodology is used to investigate the flow-field subsequent to the detonation of a spherical charge of TNT with an ambient distribution of a dilute cloud of aluminum particles. The interaction of the particle cloud with the contact surface results in Rayleigh–Taylor instability, which grows in time and gives rise to a mixing layer where the detonation products mix with the air and afterburn. At early times, the ambient particles get engulfed into the detonation products and ignite. Subsequently, they catch up with the Rayleigh–Taylor structures, and the vortex rings around the hydrodynamic structures cause transverse dispersion that results in the clustering of particles. Then, the particles leave the mixing layer and quench, yet preserve their hydrodynamic foot print. Preferential heating and combustion of particles occurs due to clustering. A higher initial mass loading in the ambient cloud results in larger clusters due to stronger/larger vortex rings around the hydrodynamic structures. A larger particle size results in the formation of fewer and degenerate clusters when the initial width of the cloud is larger. A theoretical model is used to predict the bubble amplitudes, and are in good accordance with the simulation results. Overall, this study has provided some useful insights on the explosive dispersal of dilute aluminum particle clouds and the gas dynamics of the flow field in the mixing layer.  相似文献

A direct numerical simulation of particle dispersion in particle-laden swirling jets issued into a rectangular container through a round nozzle is carried out. The swirl number is S=1.42 when the bubble vortex breakdown takes place. Two cases are simulated for comparison, i.e. five types of particles with Stokes numbers St=0.01, 0.1, 1, 10 and 100 respectively under the same flow rate, and four types of particles with St=0.5, 1, 5 and 10 respectively under the same mass loading. After simulation, it is found that the rectangular flow domain induces an important modification to the flow structure. It influences the dispersion characteristics in the peripheral cross area, forming a centrosymmetric dispersion of particles in the cross-sectional area. A quantitative analysis of the non-uniform particle dispersion is carried out. Moreover, the effect of mass loading on particle dispersion is explored and explained. It indicates the correlation between the inter-phase moment coupling and particle mass loading via the change of probability density function of the inter-phase velocity difference. Heavy mass loading causes an insufficient inter-phase momentum transport and the worse dispersion of large particles than that of small mass loading.  相似文献

本文以水作为理想流体,考虑到水头损失和孔口缩流效应,对小孔流速实验涉及的容器排水问题进行了系统的理论和实验研究.从理论上推导得出了圆柱形容器排水时间的解析解,分析了排水时间和自由液面速度、流量系数之间的规律,提出了排水时间的等效性.实验上,加工了底部开有不同小孔的大型圆柱形容器,测量了容器排水时间随液面高度的变化关系,借助实验结果计算了流量系数值,验证了容器排水时间的等效性关系,实验结果与理论计算符合较好.  相似文献

In this paper, the optimal velocity model of traffic is extended to take into account the relative velocity. The stability and density waves for traffic flow are investigated analytically with the perturbation method. The stability criterion is derived by the linear stability analysis. It is shown that the triangular shock wave, soliton wave and kink wave appear respectively in our model for density waves in the three regions: stable, metastable and unstable regions. These correspond to the solutions of the Burgers equation, Korteweg-de Vries equation and modified Korteweg-de Vries equation. The analytical results are confirmed to be in good agreement with those of numerical simulation. All the results indicate that the interaction of a car with relative velocity can affect the stability of the traffic flow and raise critical density.  相似文献
