A new model of radiative -meson decays of vector mesons in the chiral bag model is proposed. The quark--meson interaction has the form of a pseudoscalar coupling and is located on the bag surface. The vector meson decay width depends on the quark masses, the -meson decay constant, the radius of the bag, and the free parameter Z2, which specifies the disappearance of the bag during the decay. We calculate the exclusive semileptonic bottom meson decays \(B \to D(D*) + l^ - + \bar v_l \) in the spectator quark model. The helicity structure of the mesonic current transitionsBD(D *) is matched to the helicity structure of the free quark current transitionsbc at minimum momentum transferq 2=0. The results are continued toq 2≠=0 by pole-dominated form factors. Our results are compared to recent calculations that use quark model dynamics at maximum momentum transferq max 2 = (M 1 ?M 2)2. We find agreement atq max 2 . Atq 2=0 there are significant differences between the predictions of the two approaches leading to marked differences in the predictions for the shape of the lepton energy spectrum, the shape of theq 2-distribution, and the helicity composition of the transition measurable in the angular distributions of the decaysD *Dπ and \(W_{virtual}^ - \to l^ - + \bar v_l \) .  相似文献

The leading order contributions to decay rates of two-meson decays of an upsilon, in particular Y → K+K?, D+D?, are calculated using perturbative quantum chromodynamics. An interesting enhancement of Y → D+D? is found. The branching ratio of Y → D+D? to the upsilon's total hadronic width is larger than that of Y → K+K? by two orders of magnitude.  相似文献

We develop recoil corrections to various bag model results for strangeness changing weak decay amplitudes. It is shown that the spurious reference frame dependence of earlier calculations is reduced. The second class currents are generally less important than obtained by calculations in the static approximation. Finally, theoretical results are compared to observations. The agreement is quite good, although the values for the Cabibbo angle obtained by fits to the decay rates are somewhat too large.  相似文献

It is shown that a mechanism, within the framework of the cloudy bag model, analogous to that fore + e ?→2ψ in QED accounts qualitatively for the decays ?→2π, ω→πψ and ?→πψ with a bag radii 0.8–1.0 fm, and averaged momenta for decay particles. For the radiative decays, the process identical to that in the vector-dominance model gives about 60% of the total calculated width. It also explains small decay widths previously calculated, using the single quark transition process.  相似文献

Exclusive semileptonic decays of heavy mesons provide interesting information on systems consisting of quarks of unequal mass. We express the formfactors of the hadronic current in terms of relativistic bound state wave functions for which we take the solutions of a relativistic harmonic oscillator potential. The wave function overlap is determined by the quark mass dependent longitudinal momentum distribution and differs from results based on non relativistic wave functions. The semileptonic widths and lepton spectra are calculated using in addition nearest pole dominance for the momentum transfer dependence of the formfactors. We compare our results with recent experimental data. The formfactor calculation also allows an estimate of special nonleptonic transitions. From the CLEO results on \(\bar B^0 \to \pi ^ + \pi ^ -\) and \(\bar B^0 \to D^{* + } + \pi ^ -\) we find for the corresponding Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix element ratio the limit |V ub /V cb |?0.3.  相似文献

Two-body weak decays of heavy mesons are studied using a simple non-relativistic model for the meson-quark-antiquark vertex. Numerical results are compared with experimental data where possible. The properties of the amplitudes calculated suggest that dynamical factors are important in determining the nature of these decays.  相似文献

Using the (modified) MIT bag model we calculated formfactors and decay widths for pseudoscalar-pseudoscalar and pseudoscalar-vector semileptonic decays of heavy to light mesons. We discuss the physical phenomena which are important in these processes and their influence on the measurable quantities. Our results are consistent with the available experimental data. Non-leptonic decays of lower mass charmed baryons are calculated by employing the QCD corrected weak Hamiltonian and wave functions of a heavy quark bag model. Baryon matrix elements of the parity violating part of the charmchanging weak Hamiltonian are included, too. The results for the partial widths Γ and asymmetry parameters α are compared with the results of other models and with experiments.  相似文献
