基于风沙两相流的相互作用和气块质量变化的观点,推导出了闭合的沙尘大气物理约束方程组.理想状况下对之分析发现:沙尘大气密度比同体积洁净大气大,一定程度上会减缓气块的运动速度;沙尘与空气间的速度差异会使得细粒子处于高流速区,而粗粒子位于低流速区;温度差异会使得沙尘在上升运动中充当热源,下沉运动中充当冷源,从而加强对流;沙尘大气质量定容热容会在等压面上诱发新的温度梯度,促进沙尘云边界处的夹卷;沙尘大气气体常数会在等温面上诱发新的气压梯度,促进沙尘云边界处的夹卷;质量变化会对气块密度、速度和温度造成较大影响.总之,沙尘云要比基于被动标量的方程组模拟结果更高大、内部对流更强、边界处夹卷更活跃、水平运动更迟缓.  相似文献

A recipe is given for making materials with negative refraction in acoustics, i.e., materials in which the group velocity is directed opposite to the phase velocity. The recipe consists of injecting many small particles into a bounded domain, filled with a material whose refraction coefficient is known. The number of small particles to be injected per unit volume around any point x is calculated as well as the boundary impedances of the embedded particles.  相似文献

A dynamic algorithm is proposed for three-dimensional packing of spherical solid particles. The particles are deposited within a specified region with a fixed rigid boundary. The velocity of each particle is proportional to its weight and forces due to contact of the particle with the boundary and neighbor particles. Dimensional analysis of the equations of particle motion is performed. The average density and coordination number distribution for an equilibrium packing are calculated. The dependence of these characteristics on viscosity, granulometric composition, and representation of initial conditions (numerical analogue of material pouring into a specified volume) is studied.  相似文献

A model for the leaching of an impurity from a statistically homogeneous dual-porosity medium is proposed. The region of partial leaching grows according to a diffusion law on moderate time scales. A region completely cleaned of the impurity whose boundary moves with a constant velocity arises on long time scales. A transition region is formed at the leaching front. Its size increases proportionally to the square root of time. The possibility of a significant acceleration of the leaching process by the introduction of colloidal particles capable of adsorbing the impurity into the fluid is shown.  相似文献

The Zener pinning dynamics of a moving boundary interacting with one or more particles is described by a three-dimensional (3D) finite-element model. The model, based upon a variational formulation for boundary motion by viscous drag, is solved by a finite-element method to obtain the velocity at each node of triangular linear elements on the grain boundary. It is first applied to relatively simple and validated cases, for which analytical and numerical results are available. These cases correspond to an axisymmetrical geometry, in which the grain boundary interacts with a centred particle. A simple analytical pinning criterion is derived from these simulations. The model is then applied to general 3D cases, in which the grain boundary interacts with arbitrarily localized and sized particles. The aim of these 3D simulations is to quantify the influence of the position and the number of particles on the average grain-boundary velocity. It is shown, for example, that the drag effect is enhanced when the particle, or the cluster of particles, is off-centre and that pinning is less efficient with several particles than with a single particle producing the same Zener force.  相似文献

The dynamics of a driven stadium-like billiard is considered using the formalism of discrete mappings. The model presents a resonant velocity that depends on the rotation number around fixed points and external boundary perturbation which plays an important separation rule in the model. We show that particles exhibiting Fermi acceleration (initial velocity is above the resonant one) are scaling invariant with respect to the initial velocity and external perturbation. However, initial velocities below the resonant one lead the particles to decelerate therefore unlimited energy growth is not observed. This phenomenon may be interpreted as a specific Maxwell’s Demon which may separate fast and slow billiard particles.  相似文献

We study the unidirectional flow of a binary mixture of biased-random walkers on square lattice under a periodic boundary. The lattice-gas mixture consists of two types of walkers which have different biases (drift coefficients). The characteristics of unidirectional flow are clarified numerically. The mean velocity of slow particles in the binary mixture is enhanced higher than that in lattice-gas consisting of only slow particles. The mean velocity of slow particles shows a maximal value at an intermediate density. The dependence of velocity enhancement on both drift coefficient and mixture fraction is shown. Velocity enhancement is intensified with decreasing fraction of slow particles. Also, when the bias is lower, the velocity enhancement is higher.  相似文献

The cyclotron drift of charged particles along the boundary between regions of differing gyroradii is considered. Expressions for the drift velocity and drift current along a straight boundary, as well as for the drift velocity along a curvilinear boundary, are derived. The proportion between the parts into which the drift current divides along a branched boundary is estimated using a T-shaped boundary as an example.  相似文献

The formation of vortices at a moving front of lightweight granular particles is investigated experimentally. The particles used in this study are made of polystyrene foam with three different diameters of nearly uniform size. Pairs of vortices are found to emerge at the moving front at regular intervals, thereby forming a wavy pattern. Once the vortices are produced, the flow velocity tends to increase. A simple analysis suggests the existence of a velocity boundary layer at the moving front, whose thickness increases with increasing particle diameter. The frontal radius of each vortex pair is about the size of this boundary layer; when the radius exceeds this size, the front tends to bifurcate into a train of vortices with the size of the boundary layer. The formation of twin vortices leads to a reduction in the air drag force exerted on the system, and thereby the system attains a higher flow velocity, i.e., a higher conversion rate of gravitational potential energy to the kinetic energy of the particle motion. The higher conversion rate of potential energy thus feeds back to the development of the vortex motion, resulting in the twin vortex formation.  相似文献

This paper deals with dynamics particles moving on a Euclidean n-dimensional torus or in an n-dimensional parallelepiped box in a force field whose potential is proportional to the characteristic function of the region D with a regular boundary. After reaching this region, the trajectory of the particle is refracted according to the law which resembles the Snell -Descartes law from geometrical optics. When the energies are small, the particle does not reach the region D and elastically bounces off its boundary. In this case, we obtain a dynamical system of billiard type (which was intensely studied with respect to strictly convex regions). In addition, the paper discusses the problem of the existence of nontrivial first integrals that are polynomials in momenta with summable coefficients and are functionally independent with the energy integral. Conditions for the geometry of the boundary of the region D under which the problem does not admit nontrivial polynomial first integrals are found. Examples of nonconvex regions are given; for these regions the corresponding dynamical system is obviously nonergodic for fixed energy values (including small ones), however, it does not admit polynomial conservation laws independent of the energy integral.  相似文献

In the present article, we investigate the possibility of using simple physical models for predicting properties of incompressible turbulent boundary layer on permeable wall at various values of air-microblowing mass flow rate. It is shown that the velocity scaling U ??*/?? 99 can be successfully used to approximate the distribution of mean velocity in the outer region of the boundary layer. The use of this scaling makes the velocity profiles invariant with respect to Reynolds-number variation; this circumstance largely facilitates the analysis of experimental data, making it independent of upstream flow conditions. The distribution of mean velocity in the logarithmic flow region of the boundary layer over permeable surface can be described with a modified law of the wall involving a constant C 0 equal to the same constant for canonical boundary layer, and a quantity K being a weak function of blowing ratio.  相似文献

Dust ion-acoustic waves propagating in a complex plasma containing dusty particles and suprathermal electrons and ions are kinetically analyzed. The suprathermal particles are effectively modeled by the Lorentzian (kappa) velocity distribution function. For a collisionless and unmagnetized plasma, the full spectrum of the dispersion relation is obtained and the suprathermal particle effects on the wave frequency and the Landau damping are investigated. For a given wave number, the wave frequency decreases as the spectral index κ decreases, especially very rapidly in the low κ region. The Landau damping of the wave and its maximum are derived. They are found to be enhanced by the increase of suprathermal particles. The ion-to-electron density ratio also enhances the damping rate greatly.  相似文献

A complete system of canonical equations, which describes the precipitation of new-phase particles as a result of diffusive saturation, is formulated. An asymptotic solution of this system of equations with respect to time is obtained in the general form. The volume of the precipitated new phase and the motion of the boundary of a two-phase region at a given point in the crystal is found for sufficiently large times to be independent of the nucleation mechanism and of the mechanism of mass to the particles of the precipitated phase.  相似文献

Particle image velocimetry was applied to the study of the statistical properties and the coherent structures of a flat plate turbulent boundary layer at Mach 3. The nanoparticles with a good flow-following capability in supersonic flows were adopted as the tracer particles in the present experiments. 了解疏水表面的滑移规律对其在流动减阻方面的应用至关重要.利用耗散粒子动力学(dissipative particle dynamics, DPD)方法研究了微通道疏水表面的滑移现象.采用固定住的粒子并配合修正的向前反弹机制,构建了DPD固体壁面边界模型,利用该边界模型模拟了平板间的Couette流动.研究结果表明,通过调整壁面与流体间排斥作用强度,壁面能实现从无滑移到滑移的转变,壁面与流体间排斥作用越强,即疏水性越强,壁面滑移越明显,并且滑移长度与接触角之间存在近似的二次函数关系.无滑移时壁面附近密度分布均匀,有滑移时壁面附近存在低密度区域,低密度区域阻碍了动量传递,致使壁面产生滑移.  相似文献

We study the joint distribution function for position and velocity of a Brownian particle near a wall. The wall absorbs all particles that hit it with sufficiently high velocity and reflects all slower ones, either specularly or diffusely. We determine in particular stationary distributions in the absence of external forces. Appreciable deviations from local equilibrium occur in a kinetic boundary layer near the wall; its details depend strongly on the way in which the slow particles are reflected. The resulting effective absorption rate is calculated and compared with the result of approximations analogous to the transition state theory of chemical reactions. The method used is a generalization of the one used in an earlier paper for the case of a completely absorbing wall; a numerical algorithm based on an expansion of the distribution function in terms of a presumably complete set of boundary layer solutions.  相似文献

由于Lagrange粒子法的本质, 固壁边界条件的施加一直是光滑粒子动力学方法的难点之一. 本文从固壁边界的物理原理出发, 应用多层虚粒子表征固壁边界, 提出了一种新型固壁边界施加模型. 将虚粒子看作流体的扩展, 计算中虚粒子密度保持不变, 压力、速度等参数通过对流体粒子的插值获得, 虚粒子有条件的参与控制方程的计算, 对流体的密度/压力产生影响, 通过压力梯度隐式地表征壁面与流体之间的作用强度并对流体粒子施加沿壁面法线方向的斥力作用, 防止流体粒子对壁面的穿透. 数值算例测试结果表明, 与现有固壁边界施加方法相比, 本文方法更加符合流体与固壁边界作用的物理原理, 可以简单、有效地施加固壁边界条件, 方便地应用于具有复杂几何边界的问题, 获得稳定的流场形态、规则的粒子秩序及良好的速度、压力等参量的分布.  相似文献

We present an experimental investigation and data analysis of a turbulent boundary layer flow at a significant adverse pressure gradient at Reynolds number up to Reθ = 10, 000. We combine large-scale particle image velocimetry (PIV) with microscopic PIV for measuring the near wall region including the viscous sublayer. We investigate scaling laws for the mean velocity and for the total shear stress in the inner part of the boundary layer. In the inner part the mean velocity can be fitted by a log-law. In the outer part of the inner layer the log-law ceases to be valid. Instead, a modified log-law provides a good fit, which is given in terms of the pressure gradient parameter and a parameter for the mean inertial effects. Finally we describe and assess a simple quantitative model for the total shear stress distribution which is local in wall-normal direction without streamwise history effects.  相似文献

Nonstationary radiative-convective heat transfer was simulated at turbulent streamlining of a semitransparent film of melt on a flat plate by the gas mixture and solid particles. The moving film is subjected to intensive radiation heating by an external source radiating within a limited spectral range. The temperature and velocity fields are calculated in the boundary layer and in the film. Calculation results allow determination of the effect of source temperature and film initial heating on dynamics of temperature and velocity fields of the medium in the boundary layer-film system.  相似文献
