SPIN-DEPENDENT INTERFACIAL TUNNELING AND MAGNETO RESISTANCE IN THE FAMILY OF GRANULAR PEROVSKITE La1-xSrxMnO*3

The magnetic transport properties in granular perovskite system La1-xSrxMnO*3 have been investigated. The spin-dependent inter facial tunneling and the corresponding giant magnetoresistance (GMR) effect have been observed in the whole temperature range below the Curie point Tc for the samp les with concentration x from 0.05 to 0.45. Theoretical analysis shows that the interfacial tunneling originates from the difference in magnetism between surfaces and cores, and the tunnel-type GMR stems from the field-induced change of interfacial magnetic order. 相似文献

La0.82Sr0.18MnO3 have been investigated. With grain growth, both an evident decrease of magnetization and the lattice distortions have been simultaneously observed. The phenomenon suggests a structure-coupled change of magnetism in the hole-doped manganese perovskite. 相似文献

<正>We fabricated La_(1-x)Sr_xMnO_3/Si(LSMO/Si) heterojunctions with different Sr doping concentrations(x = 0.1, 0.2,0.3) in LSMO and studied the Sr content influence on magnetoresistance(MR) ratio.The hetero junctions show positive MR and high sensitivity of MR ratio in a low applied magnetic field.The MR ratio is dependent on Sr content and the low Sr doping in LSMO causes a large positive MR in LSMO/Si junctions.The MR ratio for 0.1 Sr doping in the LSMO/Si heterostructure is 116%in 100 Oe(1 Oe=79.5775 A/m) at 210 K.The mechanism for the positive MR dependence on the doping density is considered to be the competition between the tunneling rate of electrons in e_g~1↑to t_(2g)↓band and that to e_g~2↑band at the interface region of LSMO.The experimental results are in agreement with those observed in La_(0.9)Sr_(0.1)MnO_3/SrNb_(0.01)Ti_(0.99)O_3 p-n junction.The results indicate that choosing low doping concentration to improve the low field sensitivity of the heterojunction devices is a very efficacious method. 相似文献

We have measured the resistivity, special heat and AC magnetic suceptibility versus temperature in La1-xCaxMnO3(LCMO) bulk samples with x=0.3, 0.4, 0.5, 0.6. In the LCMO (x=0.3 and 0.4) samples a transition from dρ/dT0 was observed, accompanied by a peak in specific heat. In AC magnetic suceptibility measurement, a ferromagnetic and an antiferromagnetic transitions were observed in LCMO (x=0.5) sample. 相似文献

La1-x SrxCrO3 nanoparticles were prepared by the sol-gel method. The sintering temperature of the samples could be decreased to about 400 K. The crystal structures of La1-x SrxCrO3 at room temperature are all of the othorhombic perovskite GdFeO3-type (x≤0.4). And the electrical conductivity increases with x, but when x>0.3 it decreases. The higher the sintering temperature, the better the electrical conductivity, because the grain size of the examples increases with increasing sintering temperature. 相似文献

采用溶胶凝胶法制备了系列La0.8-xCa0.2MnO3多晶样品,用X射线衍射分析确定了样品的钙钛矿结构,用透射电子显微镜观察了样品的形貌及粒径分布情况,用PAR155型振动样品磁强计测量了样品的磁性随外场和温度的变化,确定样品的居里温度并计算了各样品的磁熵变.磁测量及计算结果表明制备的各样品的居里温度在180—260K的范围内且随焙烧温度和La3+离子空位浓度的不同而变化,不同温度焙烧的样品均有较大的磁熵变值,其中1100℃焙烧的La0.77Ca0.2MnO3,多晶样品在240.5K,H=1.0T的外场下的磁熵变达3.76J/kg·K,对实验结果做了定性的分析.该材料具有较高的居里温度和较大的磁熵变,所需外场强度适中,电阻率高,性能稳定,适合做高温磁制冷材料.

Floating-zone growth and property characterizations of high-quality La2-хSrхCuO4 superconductor crystals

We have grown underdoped(x=0.11,0.12) and optimally doped(x=0.16) La2 x SrxCuO4 single crystals by the traveling-solvent floating-zone technique.In order to prepare good quality cuprate crystals,we have made much effort to optimize the preparation procedures.For example,we haveadopted the sol-gel route to prepare a highly fine and homogeneous La2xSrxCuO4 precursor powder for fabricating a very dense ceramic feed rod used for the floating-zone growth,and we have also used quite a slow growth rate.The high quality of the grown crystals has been verified by double-crystal x-ray rocking curves,with the full-width-at-half-maximum being only 113-150 arcseconds,which are the best data reported so far for La2xSrxCuO4 crystals.The superconducting critical temperatures of the grown crystals are 30,31 and 38.5 K for x=0.11,0.12 and 0.16 samples,respectively,according to magnetic measurements. 相似文献

A superconducting mechanism for K3C60 and Ba1-xKxBiO3 has been suggested. This is the combining picture of the Cooper pair and the Ogg pair. Numerical calculations within the framework of this picture have been done for K3C60 and Ba1-xKxBiO3, and the overall consistency with the experimental data of superconducting properties is good. 相似文献
