We have synthesized and characterized perovskite‐type SrCo0.9Nb0.1O3−δ (SCN) as a novel anion‐intercalated electrode material for supercapacitors in an aqueous KOH electrolyte, demonstrating a very high volumetric capacitance of about 2034.6 F cm−3 (and gravimetric capacitance of ca. 773.6 F g−1) at a current density of 0.5 A g−1 while maintaining excellent cycling stability with a capacity retention of 95.7 % after 3000 cycles. When coupled with an activated carbon (AC) electrode, the SCN/AC asymmetric supercapacitor delivered a specific energy density as high as 37.6 Wh kg−1 with robust long‐term stability.  相似文献

Inspired by the spongy bone structures, three-dimensional (3D) sponge-like carbons with meso-microporous structures are synthesized through one-step electro-reduction of CO2 in molten carbonate Li2CO3−Na2CO3−K2CO3 at 580 °C. SPC4-0.5 (spongy porous carbon obtained by electrolysis of CO2 at 4 A for 0.5 h) is synthesized with the current efficiency of 96.9 %. SPC4-0.5 possesses large electrolyte ion accessible surface area, excellent wettability and electronical conductivity, ensuring the fast and effective mass and charge transfer, which make it an advcanced supercapacitor electrode material. SPC4-0.5 exhibits a specific capacitance as high as 373.7 F g−1 at 0.5 A g−1, excellent cycling stability (retaining 95.9 % of the initial capacitance after 10000 cycles at 10 A g−1), as well as high energy density. The applications of SPC4-0.5 in quasi-solid-state symmetric supercapacitor and all-solid-state flexible devices for energy storage and wearable piezoelectric sensor are investigated. Both devices show considerable capacitive performances. This work not only presents a controllable and facile synthetic route for the porous carbons but also provides a promising way for effective carbon reduction and green energy production.  相似文献

Tungsten oxide/graphene hybrid materials are attractive semiconductors for energy-related applications. Herein, we report an asymmetric supercapacitor (ASC, HRG//m-WO3 ASC), fabricated from monoclinic tungsten oxide (m-WO3) nanoplates as a negative electrode and highly reduced graphene oxide (HRG) as a positive electrode material. The supercapacitor performance of the prepared electrodes was evaluated in an aqueous electrolyte (1 m H2SO4) using three- and two-electrode systems. The HRG//m-WO3 ASC exhibits a maximum specific capacitance of 389 F g−1 at a current density of 0.5 A g−1, with an associated high energy density of 93 Wh kg−1 at a power density of 500 W kg−1 in a wide 1.6 V operating potential window. In addition, the HRG//m-WO3 ASC displays long-term cycling stability, maintaining 92 % of the original specific capacitance after 5000 galvanostatic charge–discharge cycles. The m-WO3 nanoplates were prepared hydrothermally while HRG was synthesized by a modified Hummers method.  相似文献

Carbon-based symmetric supercapacitors (SCs) are known for their high power density and long cyclability, making them an ideal candidate for power sources in new-generation electronic devices. To boost their electrochemical performances, deriving activated carbon doped with heteroatoms such as N, O, and S are highly desirable for increasing the specific capacitance. In this regard, activated carbon (AC) self-doped with heteroatoms is directly derived from bio-waste (lima-bean shell) using different KOH activation processes. The heteroatom-enriched AC synthesized using a pretreated carbon-to-KOH ratio of 1:2 (ONS@AC-2) shows excellent surface morphology with a large surface area of 1508 m2 g−1. As an SC electrode material, the presence of heteroatoms (N and S) reduces the interfacial charge-transfer resistance and increases the ion-accessible surface area, which inherently provides additional pseudocapacitance. The ONS@AC-2 electrode attains a maximum specific capacitance (Csp) of 342 F g−1 at a specific current of 1 Ag−1 in 1 m NaClO4 electrolyte at the wide potential window of 1.8 V. Moreover, as symmetric SCs the ONS@AC-2 electrode delivers a maximum specific capacitance (Csc) of 191 F g−1 with a maximum specific energy of 21.48 Wh kg−1 and high specific power of 14 000 W kg−1 and excellent retention of its initial capacitance (98 %) even after 10000 charge/discharge cycles. In addition, a flexible supercapacitor fabricated utilizing ONS@AC-2 electrodes and a LiCl/polyvinyl alcohol (PVA)-based polymer electrolyte shows a maximum Csc of 119 F g−1 with considerable specific energy and power.  相似文献

Hydronium-ion batteries have received significant attention owing to the merits of extraordinary sustainability and excellent rate abilities. However, achieving high-performance hydronium-ion batteries remains a challenge due to the inferior properties of anode materials in strong acid electrolyte. Herein, a hydronium-ion battery is constructed which is based on a diquinoxalino [2,3-a:2’,3’-c] phenazine (HATN) anode and a MnO2@graphite felt cathode in a hybrid acidic electrolyte. The fast kinetics of hydronium-ion insertion/extraction into HATN electrode endows the HATN//MnO2@GF battery with enhanced electrochemical performance. This battery exhibits an excellent rate performance (266 mAh g−1 at 0.5 A g−1, 97 mAh g−1 at 50 A g−1), attractive energy density (182.1 Wh kg−1) and power density (31.2 kW kg−1), along with long-term cycle stability. These results shed light on the development of advanced hydronium-ion batteries.  相似文献

In this work, β‐Co(OH)2 nanosheets are explored as efficient pseudocapacitive materials for the fabrication of 1.6 V class high‐energy supercapacitors in asymmetric fashion. The as‐synthesized β‐Co(OH)2 nanosheets displayed an excellent electrochemical performance owing to their unique structure, morphology, and reversible reaction kinetics (fast faradic reaction) in both the three‐electrode and asymmetric configuration (with activated carbon, AC). For example, in the three‐electrode set‐up, β‐Co(OH)2 exhibits a high specific capacitance of ∼675 F g−1 at a scan rate of 1 mV s−1. In the asymmetric supercapacitor, the β‐Co(OH)2∥AC cell delivers a maximum energy density of 37.3 Wh kg−1 at a power density of 800 W kg−1. Even at harsh conditions (8 kW kg−1), an energy density of 15.64 Wh kg−1 is registered for the β‐Co(OH)2∥AC assembly. Such an impressive performance of β‐Co(OH)2 nanosheets in the asymmetric configuration reveals the emergence of pseudocapacitive electrodes towards the fabrication of high‐energy electrochemical charge storage systems.  相似文献

Three-dimensional (3D) heterostructured molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) is used as base materials for aniline monomer in situ polymerization on its surface. It is found that the aniline addition has a remarkable effect on the energy storage of the final compounds due to the improvement of the conductivity and structure stability combined with the synergistic effect between the two types of species. The optimal compound of PANI@MoS2-150 not only shows a high capacitance value of 801.4 F ⋅ g−1 at a current density of 0.5 A ⋅ g−1 but also provides a high retention rate of 77.4 % after 10,000 cycles. The capacitance fading may be due to the increase of the internal resistance analyzed by EIS. Furthermore, a flexible symmetric supercapacitor based on PANI@MoS2-150 has also been fabricated and the specific capacitance reaches 105 F ⋅ g−1 at a current density of 1 A ⋅ g−1. Impressively, the capacitance retention is larger than 100 % undergoing 10,000 cycles. Besides, the highest energy density of 21 Wh ⋅ kg−1 was obtained. Additionally, the fabricated symmetric supercapacitor demonstrates excellent flexibility.  相似文献

The design of electrode materials with rational core/shell structures is promising for improving the electrochemical properties of supercapacitors. Hence, hierarchical FeCo2S4@FeNi2S4 core/shell nanostructures on Ni foam were fabricated by a simple hydrothermal method. Owing to their structure and synergistic effect, they deliver an excellent specific capacitance of 2393 F g−1 at 1 A g−1 and long cycle lifespan as positive electrode materials. An asymmetric supercapacitor device with FeCo2S4@FeNi2S4 as positive electrode and graphene as negative electrode exhibited a specific capacitance of 133.2 F g−1 at 1 A g−1 and a high energy density of 47.37 W h kg−1 at a power density of 800 W kg−1. Moreover, the device showed remarkable cycling stability with 87.0 % specific-capacitance retention after 5000 cycles at 2 A g−1. These results demonstrate that the hierarchical FeCo2S4@FeNi2S4 core/shell structures have great potential in the field of electrochemical energy storage.  相似文献

A low-cost polyester cellulose paper has been used as a substrate for a flexible supercapacitor device that contains aqueous carbon nanotube ink as the electrodes and a polyvinyl alcohol (PVA)-based gel as the electrolyte. Gel electrolytes have attracted much interest due to their solvent-holding capacity and good film-forming capability. The electrodes are characterized for their conductivity and morphology. Because of its high conductivity, the conductive paper is studied in supercapacitor applications as active electrodes and as separators after coating with polyvinylidene fluoride. Carbon nanotubes deposited on porous paper are more accessible to ions in the electrolyte than those on flat substrates, which results in higher power density. A simple fabrication process is achieved and paper supercapacitors are tested for their performance in both aqueous and PVA gel electrolytes by using galvanostatic and cyclic voltammetry methods. A high specific capacitance of 270 F g−1 and an energy density value of 37 W h kg−1 are achieved for devices with PVA gel electrolytes. Furthermore, this device can maintain excellent specific capacitance even under high currents. This is also confirmed by another counter experiment with aqueous sulfuric acid as the electrolyte. The cycle life, one of the most critical parameters in supercapacitor operations, is found to be excellent (6000 cycles) and less than 0.5 % capacitance loss is observed. Moreover, the supercapacitor device is flexible and even after twisting does not show any cracks or evidence of breakage, and shows almost the same specific capacitance of 267 F g−1and energy density of 37 W h kg−1. This work suggests that a paper substrate can be a highly scalable and low-cost solution for high-performance supercapacitors.  相似文献

The design of hierarchical electrodes comprising multiple components with a high electrical conductivity and a large specific surface area has been recognized as a feasible strategy to remarkably boost pseudocapacitors. Herein, we delineate hexagonal sheets-in-cage shaped nickel–manganese sulfides (Ni-Mn-S) with nanosized open spaces for supercapacitor applications to realize faster redox reactions and a lower charge-transfer resistance with a markedly enhanced specific capacitance. The hybrid was facilely prepared through a two-step hydrothermal method. Benefiting from the synergistic effect between Ni and Mn active sites with the improvement of both ionic and electric conductivity, the resulting Ni-Mn-S hybrid displays a high specific capacitance of 1664 F g−1 at a current density of 1 A g−1 and a capacitance of 785 F g−1 is maintained at a current density of 50 A g−1, revealing an outstanding capacity and rate performance. The asymmetric supercapacitor device assembled with the Ni-Mn-S hexagonal sheets-in-cage as the positive electrode delivers a maximum energy density of 40.4 Wh kg−1 at a power density of 750 W kg−1. Impressively, the cycling retention of the as-fabricated device after 10 000 cycles at a current density of 10 A g−1 reaches 85.5 %. Thus, this hybrid with superior capacitive performance holds great potential as an effective charge-storage material.  相似文献

Design of hollow nanostructure and controllable phase of mixed metal oxides for improving performance in supercapacitor applications is highly desirable. Here we demonstrate the rational design and synthesis of Mn3−xFexO4 hollow nanostructures for supercapacitor applications. Owing to high porosity and the specific surface area that provides more active sites for electrochemical reactions, the electrochemical performance of Mn3−xFexO4 hollow nanostructure substantially enhanced comparing with pristine Mn3O4. Particularly, in 1.0 M KOH electrolyte, Mn0.16Fe2.84O4 with a typical diameter of 20 nm exhibits excellent specific capacitance of 2675, 2320, 1662, 987 F g−1 at current densities of 1, 2, 5, 10 A g−1, respectively, which is significantly superior to those of other transition metal oxides. Besides, an asymmetric supercapacitor is assembled by using Mn0.16Fe2.84O4 and activated carbon as a positive and a negative electrode, respectively. Electrochemical results indicate a high energy density of 42 Wh kg−1 at a power density of 0.75 kW kg−1, which makes this hollow nanostructure a highly promising electrode for achieving high-performance next-generation supercapacitors.  相似文献

A new ternary composite of 1T-molybdenum disulfide, hexagonal tungsten trioxide, and reduced graphene oxide (M-W-rGO) is synthesized by using a one-pot hydrothermal process. The synergetic effect of 1T-MoS2 and hexa-WO3 nanoflowers improves the electrochemical performance for supercapacitors by inducing additional active sites and hexagonal tunnels, respectively, which lead to high storage capacity and easy transfer of electrolyte ions. The ternary M-W-rGO composite has a high specific capacitance of 836 F g−1 at 1 A g−1, which is nearly twice that of binary composites of M-rGO and W-rGO with high capacitance retention of 86.35 % after 3000 cycles at a high current density of 5 A g−1. This study provides a new ternary composite that can be used as an electrode material for high-performance supercapacitors.  相似文献

Rational designing and constructing multiphase hybrid electrode materials is an effective method to compensate for the performance defects of the single component. Based on this strategy, Cu2Se hexagonal nanosheets@Co3Se4 nanospheres mixed structures have been fabricated by a facile two-step hydrothermal method. Under the synergistic effect of the high ionic conductivity of Cu2Se and the remarkable cycling stability of Co3Se4, Cu2Se@Co3Se4 can exhibit outstanding electrochemical performance as a novel electrode material. The as-prepared Cu2Se@Co3Se4 electrode displays high specific capacitance of 1005 F g−1 at 1 A g−1 with enhanced rate capability (56 % capacitance retention at 10 A g−1), and ultralong lifespan (94.2 % after 10 000 cycles at 20 A g−1). An asymmetric supercapacitor is assembled applying the Cu2Se@Co3Se4 as anode and graphene as cathode, which delivers a wide work potential window of 1.6 V, high energy density (30.9 Wh kg−1 at 0.74 kW kg−1), high power density (21.0 Wh kg−1 at 7.50 kW kg−1), and excellent cycling stability (85.8 % after 10 000 cycles at 10 A g−1).  相似文献

As redox-active based supercapacitors are known as highly desirable next-generation supercapacitor electrodes, the targeted design of two ferrocene-functionalized (Fc(COOH)2) clusters based on coinage metals, [(PPh3)2AgO2CFcCO2Ag(PPh3)2]2 ⋅ 7 CH3OH (SC1: super capacitor) and [(PPh3)3CuO2CFcCO2Cu(PPh3)3] ⋅ 3 CH3OH (SC2), is reported. Both structures are fully characterized by various techniques. The structures are utilized as energy storage electrode materials, giving 130 F g−1 and 210 F g−1 specific capacitance at 1.5 A g−1 in Na2SO4 electrolyte, respectively. The obtained results show that the presence of CuI instead of AgI improves the supercapacitive performance of the cluster. Further, to improve the conductivity, the PSC2 ([(PPh3)2CuO2CFcCO2]), a polymeric structure of SC2, was synthesized and used as an energy storage electrode. PSC2 displays high conductivity and gives 455 F g−1 capacitance at 3 A g−1. The PSC2 as a supercapacitor electrode presents a high power density (2416 W kg−1), high energy density (161 Wh kg−1), and long cycle life over 4000 cycles (93 %). These results could lead to the amplification of high-performance supercapacitors in new areas to develop real applications and stimulate the use of the targeted design of coordination polymers without hybridization or compositions with additive materials.  相似文献

A 3D hierarchical carbon cloth/nitrogen-doped carbon nanowires/Ni@MnO2 (CC/N-CNWs/Ni@MnO2) nanocomposite electrode was rationally designed and prepared by electrodeposition. The N-CNWs derived from polypyrrole (PPy) nanowires on the carbon cloth have an open framework structure, which greatly increases the contact area between the electrode and electrolyte and provides short diffusion paths. The incorporation of the Ni layer between the N-CNWs and MnO2 is beneficial for significantly enhancing the electrical conductivity and boosting fast charge transfer as well as improving the charge-collection capacity. Thus, the as-prepared 3D hierarchical CC/N-CNWs/Ni@MnO2 electrode exhibits a higher specific capacitance of 571.4 F g−1 compared with those of CC/N-CNWs@MnO2 (311 F g−1), CC/Ni@MnO2 (196.6 F g−1), and CC@MnO2 (186.1 F g−1) at 1 A g−1 and remarkable rate capability (367.5 F g−1 at 10 A g−1). Moreover, asymmetric supercapacitors constructed with CC/N-CNWs/Ni@MnO2 as cathode material and activated carbon as anode material deliver an impressive energy density of 36.4 W h kg−1 at a power density of 900 W kg−1 and a good cycling life (72.8 % capacitance retention after 3500 cycles). This study paves a low-cost and simple way to design a hierarchical nanocomposite electrode with large surface area and superior electrical conductivity, which has wide application prospects in high-performance supercapacitors.  相似文献

A unipolar pulse electrodeposition method was employed to controllably synthesize nanosheet type NiCo LDH. The effect of concentration rate of Ni(NO3)2/Co(NO3)2 preparation solution on crystalline structure, morphology and supercapacitive performance was investigated systematically. Experimental found that the morphology and composition of NiCo LDH was highly depend on the Ni2+/Co2+ molar ratios of preparation solution; and the obtained Ni0.76Co0.24 LDH materials showed small nanosheet size and uniform distribution on carbon fiber electrode. Ni0.76Co0.24 LDH electrode was evaluated for supercapacitor application, which revealed a high specific capacitances of 2189.8 and 1908.8 F g−1 at the current density of 1 and 30 A g−1 respectively and a good cycle stability, retaining 70.3 % of the initial capacitance after 20000 charge and discharge cycles at 50 A g−1. Moreover, the Ni0.76Co0.24 LDH electrode exhibits a high energy density of 76 Wh Kg−1 at a power density of 250 W Kg−1 and a high power density of 7500 W Kg−1 at energy density of 66 Wh Kg−1. The as‐prepared Ni0.76Co0.24 LDH as positive electrode for asymmetric supercapacitor exhibits excellent energy density of 4.1 Wh Kg‐1 at a power density of 4000 W Kg‐1  相似文献

A hierarchical hollow hybrid composite, namely, MnO2 nanosheets grown on nitrogen‐doped hollow carbon shells (NHCSs@MnO2), was synthesized by a facile in situ growth process followed by calcination. The composite has a high surface area (251 m2g?1) and mesopores (4.5 nm in diameter), which can efficiently facilitate transport during electrochemical cycling. Owing to the synergistic effect of NHCSs and MnO2, the composite shows a high specific capacitance of 306 F g?1, good rate capability, and an excellent cycling stability of 95.2 % after 5000 cycles at a high current density of 8 A g?1. More importantly, an asymmetric supercapacitor (ASC) assembled by using NHCSs@MnO2 and activated carbon as the positive and negative electrodes exhibits high specific capacitance (105.5 F g?1 at 0.5 A g?1 and 78.5 F g?1 at 10 A g?1) with excellent rate capability, achieves a maximum energy density of 43.9 Wh kg?1 at a power density of 408 W kg?1, and has high stability, whereby the ASC retains 81.4 % of its initial capacitance at a current density of 5 A g?1 after 4000 cycles. Therefore, the NHCSs@MnO2 electrode material is a promising candidate for future energy‐storage systems.  相似文献

The exploration of the rational design and synthesis of unique and robust architectured electrodes for the high capacitance, rate capability, and stability of supercapacitors is crucial to the future of energy storage technology. Herein, an in situ synthesis of multilayered titanium carbide MXene tightly caging within a 3 D conducting tangled polypyrrole (PPy) nanowire (NW) network is proposed as an effective strategy to prevent the aggregation of MXene, profoundly enhancing the electrochemical performance of the supercapacitor. Owing to the beneficial effects of an ideal 3 D interconnected porous structure and high electrical conductivity, the obtained electrode exhibits fast charge and ion transport kinetics as well as full usage of active material. As expected, the 3 D Ti3C2Tx@PPY NW exhibits a specific capacitance five times higher than that of pristine MXene (610 F g−1), a good rate capability up to a current density of 25 A g−1, and excellent stability with 100 % retention after 14 000 cycles at 4 A g−1, outperforming the known state-of-the-art MXene-based supercapacitor. Our work provides a facile method for enhancing the performance of MXene-based energy storage devices.  相似文献

Electrode material based on a novel core–shell structure consisting of NiCo_2S_4(NCS) solid fiber core and Mn S(MS) sheet shell(NCS@MS) in situ grown on carbon cloth(CC) has been successfully prepared by a simple sulfurization-assisted hydrothermal method for high performance supercapacitor. The synthesized NiCo_2S_4@Mn S/CC electrode shows high capacitance of 1908.3 F g~(-1) at a current density of 0.5 A g~(-1) which is higher than those of NiCo_2S_4 and Mn S at the same current density. A flexible all-solid-state asymmetric supercapacitor(ASC) is constructed by using NiCo_2S_4@Mn S/CC as positive electrode, active carbon/CC as negative electrode and KOH/poly(vinyl alcohol)(PVA) as electrolyte. The optimized ASC shows a maximum energy density of 23.3 Wh kg~(-1) at 1 A g~(-1), a maximum power density of about7.5 kw kg~(-1) at 10 A g~(-1) and remarkable cycling stability. After 9000 cycles, the ASC still exhibited67.8% retention rate and largely unchanged charge/discharge curves. The excellent electrochemical properties are resulted from the novel core–shell structure of the NiCo_2S_4@Mn S/CC electrode, which possesses both high surface area for Faraday redox reaction and superior kinetics of charge transport. The NiCo_2S_4@Mn S/CC electrode shows a promising potential for energy storage applications in the future.  相似文献

In this work, we proposed a facile one-pot pyrolysis method to conveniently manufacture lignin-derived carbon materials with graded porous construction for use in supercapacitors. The renewable lignin was selected as precursor, while the potassium citrate was used as a pore-forming agent. The properties of the prepared lignin-derived carbon (LAC) and the performance for supercapacitor application were thoroughly evaluated. The LAC at optimal preparation conditions shows a layered porous structure with a large specific surface area of 3174 cm2 g−1 and pore volume of 2.796 cm3 g−1, where the specific capacitance reach to 241 F g−1 at 1 A g−1 scan rate in 6 M KOH electrolyte solution. At the same time, the specific capacitance remains at 220 F g−1 even at an excessive scan velocity of 20 A g−1, while the capacitance retention is still close to 91.3%. The capacitance retention rate is stable above 95% after 10,000 charge/discharge cycles, which shows the desired long-time stability. All these results demonstrate the outstanding properties of the new prepared LAC material and the considerable application potential in the field of electrical energy storage.  相似文献
