The reactions of the Group 4 metallocene alkyne complexes rac‐(ebthi)M(η2‐Me3SiC2SiMe3) ( 1 a : M=Ti, 1 b : M=Zr; rac‐(ebthi)=rac‐1,2‐ethylene‐1,1′‐bis(η5‐tetrahydroindenyl)) with Ph?C?N were investigated. For 1 a , an unusual nitrile–nitrile coupling to 1‐titana‐2,5‐diazacyclopenta‐2,4‐diene ( 2 ) at ambient temperature was observed. At higher temperature, the C?C coupling of two nitriles resulted in the formation of a dinuclear complex with a four‐membered diimine bridge ( 3 ). The reaction of 1 b with Ph?C?N afforded dinuclear compound 4 and 2,4,6‐triphenyltriazine. Additionally, the reactivity of 1 b towards other nitriles was investigated.  相似文献

The aluminum(I) compound NacNacAl (NacNac=[ArNC(Me)CHC(Me)NAr]?, Ar=2,6‐iPr2C6H3, 1 ) shows diverse and substrate‐controlled reactivity in reactions with N‐heterocycles. 4‐Dimethylaminopyridine (DMAP), a basic substrate in which the 4‐position is blocked, induces rearrangement of NacNacAl by shifting a hydrogen atom from the methyl group of the NacNac backbone to the aluminum center. In contrast, C?H activation of the methyl group of 4‐picoline takes place to produce a species with a reactive terminal methylene. Reaction of 1 with 3,5‐lutidine results in the first example of an uncatalyzed, room‐temperature cleavage of an sp2 C?H bond (in the 4‐position) by an AlI species. Another reactivity mode was observed for quinoline, which undergoes 2,2′‐coupling. Finally, the reaction of 1 with phthalazine produces the product of N?N bond cleavage.  相似文献

Palladacyclic compounds [Pd(C6H4(C6H5C?O)C?N? R)(N? N)] [X] (R = Et, iPr, 2,6‐iPr2C6H3; N? N = bpy = 2,2′‐bipyridine, or 1,4‐(o,o′‐dialkylaryl)‐1,4‐diazabuta‐1,3‐dienes; [X]? = [BF4]? or [PF6]?) were synthesized from the dimers [{Pd(C6H4(C6H5C?O)C?N? R)(μ‐Cl)}2] and N? N ligands. Their interionic structure in CD2Cl2 was determined by means of 19F,1H‐HOESY experiments and compared with that in the solid state derived from X‐ray single‐crystal studies. [Pd(C6H4(C6H5C?O)C?N? R)(N? The reactions with CO and p‐methylstyrene of the bpy derivatives were investigated. Two intermediates derived from a single and a double insertion of CO into the Pd? C bonds were isolated and completely characterized in solution.  相似文献

Complexes [Pd(C6H3XH‐2‐R′‐5)Y(N^N)] (X=O, NH; Y=Br, I; R′=H, NO2; N^N=N,N,N′,N′‐tetramethylethylenediamine (tmeda), 2,2′‐bipyridine (bpy), 4,4′‐di‐tert‐butyl‐2,2′‐bipyridine (dtbbpy)) react with RN?C?E (E=NR, S) or RC≡N (R=alkyl, aryl, NR′′2) and TlOTf (OTf=CF3SO3) to give, respectively, 1) products of the insertion of the C?E group into the C? The intrinsic acid‐base properties of the hexa‐2′‐deoxynucleoside pentaphosphate, d(ApGpGpCpCpT) [=(A1?G2?G3?C4?C5?T6)=(HNPP)5?] have been determined by 1H NMR shift experiments. The pKa values of the individual sites of the adenosine (A), guanosine (G), cytidine (C), and thymidine (T) residues were measured in water under single‐strand conditions (i.e., 10 % D2O, 47 °C, I=0.1 M , NaClO4). These results quantify the release of H+ from the two (N7)H+ (G?G), the two (N3)H+ (C?C), and the (N1)H+ (A) units, as well as from the two (N1)H (G?G) and the (N3)H (T) sites. Based on measurements with 2′‐deoxynucleosides at 25 °C and 47 °C, they were transferred to pKa values valid in water at 25 °C and I=0.1 M . Intramolecular stacks between the nucleobases A1 and G2 as well as most likely also between G2 and G3 are formed. For HNPP three pKa clusters occur, that is those encompassing the pKa values of 2.44, 2.97, and 3.71 of G2(N7)H+, G3(N7)H+, and A1(N1)H+, respectively, with overlapping buffer regions. The tautomer populations were estimated, giving for the release of a single proton from five‐fold protonated H5(HNPP)±, the tautomers (G2)N7, (G3)N7, and (A1)N1 with formation degrees of about 74, 22, and 4 %, respectively. Tautomer distributions reveal pathways for proton‐donating as well as for proton‐accepting reactions both being expected to be fast and to occur practically at no “cost”. The eight pKa values for H5(HNPP)± are compared with data for nucleosides and nucleotides, revealing that the nucleoside residues are in part affected very differently by their neighbors. In addition, the intrinsic acidity constants for the RNA derivative r(A1?G2?G3? C4?C5?U6), where U=uridine, were calculated. Finally, the effect of metal ions on the pKa values of nucleobase sites is briefly discussed because in this way deprotonation reactions can easily be shifted to the physiological pH range.  相似文献

The syntheses and reactivity of the two N‐heterocyclic carbene (NHC)→ silylene complexes 2 and 4 have been investigated. The latter are easily accessible by reaction of the zwitterionic, N‐heterocyclic silylene LSi: 1 [L=Ar‐N‐C(=CH2)CH?C(Me)‐N‐Ar, Ar=2,6‐iPr2C6H3] with 1,3,4,5‐tetramethylimidazol‐2‐ylidene and 1,3‐diisopropyl‐4,5‐dimethylimidazol‐2‐ylidene, respectively. While compound 2 undergoes facile rearrangement above ?20 °C to give the unsymmetrical N‐heterocyclic silylcarbene 3 , the derivative 4 remains unchanged even after boiling in benzene. The remarkable reactivity of 3 and 4 towards cyclohexylisocyanide has been examined which leads in a unique series of C? H, Si? H, and C? N bond activations to the new triaminosilanes 5 and 6 , respectively. The novel compounds 3 , 4 , 5 , and 6 were fully characterized by 1H, 13C, and 29Si NMR spectroscopy, EI‐MS, elemental analysis, and single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction.  相似文献

The bidentate P,N hybrid ligand 1 allows access for the first time to novel cationic phosphinine‐based RhIII and IrIII complexes, broadening significantly the scope of low‐coordinate aromatic phosphorus heterocycles for potential applications. The coordination chemistry of 1 towards RhIII and IrIII was investigated and compared with the analogous 2,2′‐bipyridine derivative, 2‐(2′‐pyridyl)‐4,6‐diphenylpyridine ( 2 ), which showed significant differences. The molecular structures of [RhCl(Cp*)( 1 )]Cl and [IrCl(Cp*)( 1 )]Cl (Cp*=pentamethylcyclopentadienyl) were determined by means of X‐ray diffraction and confirm the mononuclear nature of the λ3‐phosphinine–RhIII and IrIII complexes. In contrast, a different reactivity and coordination behavior was found for the nitrogen analogue 2 , especially towards RhIII as a bimetallic ion pair [RhCl(Cp*)( 2 )]+[RhCl3(Cp*)]? is formed rather than a mononuclear coordination compound. [RhCl(Cp*)( 1 )]Cl and [IrCl(Cp*)( 1 )]Cl react with water regio‐ and diastereoselectively at the external P?C double bond, leading exclusively to the anti‐addition products [MCl(Cp*)( 1 H ? OH)]Cl as confirmed by X‐ray crystal‐structure determination.  相似文献

Dimethylaluminum complexes bearing bidentate amidate, oxypyridine, and salicylaldimine N,O‐ligands and tridentate N,N,N″‐pyridyliminoamide ligands were synthesized and spectroscopically characterized. The complexes were investigated in both neutral and borane‐activated cationic forms, along with bidentate N,N′‐ligated aluminum amidinates, as catalysts for the polymerization of methyl methacrylate, ?‐caprolactone, and propylene oxide. The neutral complexes generally did not carry out polymerization, but the polymerization/oligomerization of all three monomers was achieved when the various catalysts were activated with B(C6F5)3 or [Ph3C]+[B(C6F5)4]?. The N,O‐ligated cations were much less active for polymerization than the analogous, more stable N,N′‐ligated amidinate cations; both types of cationic complexes catalyzed the ring‐opening cationic polymerization of tetrahydrofuran. B(C6F5)3 and [Ph3C]+[B(C6F5)4]? also independently carried out the oligomerization of propylene oxide. © 2002 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J Polym Sci Part A: Polym Chem 40: 1633–1651, 2002  相似文献

Salicylidene Schiff base chelates (R,R)‐(–)‐N,N′‐bis(3,5‐di‐tert‐butylsalicylidene)‐1,2‐cyclohexanediaminomanganese(III) chloride, (R,R)‐(–)‐N,N′‐bis(3,5‐di‐tert‐butylsalicylidene)‐1,2‐cyclohexanediaminocobalt(II), N,N′‐bis(salicylidene)‐ethylenediaminocobalt(II), N,N′‐bis(salicylidene)ethylenediaminonickel(II), and N,N′‐bis(salicylidene)ethylenediaminoaquacobalt(II), as well as (R,R)‐(–)‐N,N′‐bis(3,5‐di‐tert‐butylsalicylidene)1,2‐cyclohexanediamine, were kinetically examined as antioxidants in the scavenging of tert‐butylperoxyl radical (tert‐butylOO?). Absolute rate constants and corresponding Arrhenius parameters were determined for reactions of tert‐butylOO? with these chelates in the temperature range ?52.5 to ?11°C. High reactivity of tert‐butylOO? with Mn(III) and Co(II) salicylidene Schiff base chelates was established using a kinetic electron paramagnetic resonance method. These salicylidene Schiff base chelates react in a 1:1 stoichiometric fashion with tert‐butylOO? without free radical formation. Ultraviolet–visible spectrophotometry and differential pulse voltammetry established that the rapid removal rate of tert‐butylOO? by these chelates is the result of Mn(III) oxidation to Mn(IV) and Co(II) oxidation to Co(III) by tert‐butylOO?. It is concluded that removal of alkylperoxyl radical by Mn(III) and Co(II) salicylidene Schiff base chelates may partially account for their biological activities. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Synthesis, structure, and reactivity of carboranylamidinate‐based half‐sandwich iridium and rhodium complexes are reported for the first time. Treatment of dimeric metal complexes [{Cp*M(μCl)Cl}2] (M=Ir, Rh; Cp*=η5‐C5Me5) with a solution of one equivalent of nBuLi and a carboranylamidine produces 18‐electron complexes [Cp*IrCl(CabN‐DIC)] ( 1 a ; CabN‐DIC=[iPrN?C(closo‐1,2‐C2B10H10)(NHiPr)]), [Cp*RhCl(CabN‐DIC)] ( 1 b ), and [Cp*RhCl(CabN‐DCC)] ( 1 c ; CabN‐DCC=[CyN?C(closo‐1,2‐C2B10H10)(NHCy)]). Homoleptic lithium tri‐ and tetraalkyl zincates were reacted with a set of bromopyridines. Efficient and chemoselective bromine–metal exchanges were realized at room temperature with a substoichiometric amount of nBu4ZnLi2?TMEDA reagent (1/3 equiv; TMEDA=N,N,N′,N′‐tetramethylethylenediamine). This reactivity contrasted with that of tBu4ZnLi2?TMEDA, which was inefficient below one equivalent. DFT calculations allowed us to rationalize the formation of N???Li stabilized polypyridyl zincates in the reaction. The one‐pot difunctionalization of dibromopyridines was also realized using the reagent stoichiometrically. The direct creation of C? Zn bonds in bromopyridines enabled us to perform efficient Negishi‐type cross‐couplings.  相似文献

Two new charge‐neutral iridium complexes, [Ir(tfm‐ppy)2(N,N′‐diisopropyl‐benzamidinate)] ( 1 ) and [Ir(tfm‐ppy)2(N,N′‐diisopropyl‐4‐diethylamino‐3,5‐dimethyl‐benzamidinate)] ( 2 ) (tfm‐ppy=4‐trifluoromethyl‐2‐phenylpyridine) containing an amidinate ligand and two phenylpyridine ligands were designed and characterised. The photophysical properties, electrochemical behaviours and emission quenching properties of these species were investigated. In concert with the cobalt catalyst [Co(bpy)3]2+, members of this new class of iridium complexes enable the photocatalytic generation of hydrogen from mixed aqueous solutions via an oxidative quenching pathway and display long‐term photostability under constant illumination over 72 h; one of these species achieved a relatively high turnover number of 1880 during this time period. In the case of complex 1 , the three‐component homogeneous photocatalytic system proved to be more efficient than a related system containing a charged complex, [Ir(tfm‐ppy)2(dtb‐bpy)]+ ( 3 , dtb‐bpy=4,4′‐di‐tert‐butyl‐2,2′‐dipyridyl). In combination with a rhodium complex as a water reduction catalyst, the performances of the systems using both complexes were also evaluated, and these systems exhibited a more efficient catalytic propensity for water splitting than did the cobalt‐based systems that have been studied previously.  相似文献

1,10‐Phenanthroline, a simple and cheap N,N′‐type ligand, was found to work well as the ligand of C? S coupling catalyzed by Cu2O. The corresponding coupling products were synthesized in good to excellent yields (75%–99%) in DMSO at 80°C. A variety of aryl halides and thiols were investigated and satisfactory results were obtained.  相似文献

Coenzyme B12 can assist radical enzymes that accomplish the vicinal interchange of a hydrogen atom with a functional group. It has been proposed that the Co? C bond homolysis of coenzyme B12 to cob(II)alamin and the 5′‐deoxyadenosyl radical is aided by hydrogen bonding of the corrin C19? H to the 3′‐O of the ribose moiety of the incipient 5′‐deoxyadenosyl radical, which is stabilized by 30 kJ mol?1 (B. Durbeej et al., Chem. Eur. J. 2009 , 15, 8578–8585). The diastereoisomers (R)‐ and (S)‐2,3‐dihydroxypropylcobalamin were used as models for coenzyme B12. A downfield shift of the NMR signal for the C19? H proton was observed for the (R)‐isomer (δ=4.45 versus 4.01 ppm for the (S)‐isomer) and can be ascribed to an intramolecular hydrogen bond between the C19? H and the oxygen of CHOH. Crystal structures of (R)‐ and (S)‐2,3‐dihydroxypropylcobalamin showed C19? H???O distances of 3.214(7) Å (R‐isomer) and 3.281(11) Å (S‐isomer), which suggest weak hydrogen‐bond interactions (?ΔG<6 kJ mol?1) between the CHOH of the dihydroxypropyl ligand and the C19? H. Exchange of the C19? H, which is dependent on the cobalt redox state, was investigated with cob(I)alamin, cob(II)alamin, and cob(III)alamin by using NMR spectroscopy to monitor the uptake of deuterium from deuterated water in the pH range 3–11. No exchange was found for any of the cobalt oxidation states. 3′,5′‐Dideoxyadenosylcobalamin, but not the 2′,5′‐isomer, was found to act as a coenzyme for glutamate mutase, with a 15‐fold lower kcat/KM than 5′‐deoxyadenosylcobalamin. This indicates that stabilization of the 5′‐deoxyadenosyl radical by a hydrogen bond that involves the C19? H and the 3′‐OH group of the cofactor is, at most, 7 kJ mol?1 (?ΔG). Examination of the crystal structure of glutamate mutase revealed additional stabilizing factors: hydrogen bonds between both the 2′‐OH and 3′‐OH groups and glutamate 330. The actual strength of a hydrogen bond between the C19? H and the 3′‐O of the ribose moiety of the 5′‐deoxyadenosyl group is concluded not to exceed 6 kJ mol?1 (?ΔG).  相似文献

The reaction of the N‐thiophosphorylated thiourea (HOCH2)(Me)2CNHC(S)NHP(S)(OiPr)2 (HL), deprotonated by the thiophosphorylamide group, with NiCl2 leads to green needles of the pseudotetrahedral complex [Ni(L‐1,5‐S,S′)2] ? 0.5 (n‐C6H14) or pale green blocks of the trans square‐planar complex trans‐[Ni(L‐1,5‐S,S′)2]. The former complex is stabilized by homopolar dihydrogen C?H???H?C interactions formed by n‐hexane solvent molecules with the [Ni(L‐1,5‐S,S′)2] unit. Furthermore, the dispersion‐dominated C?H??? H?C interactions are, together with other noncovalent interactions (C?H???N, C?H???Ni, C?H???S), responsible for pseudotetrahedral coordination around the NiII center in [Ni(L ‐1,5‐S,S′)2] ? 0.5 (n‐C6H14).  相似文献

The synthesis and reactivity of a silyliumylidene cation stabilized by an amidinate ligand and 4‐dimethylaminopyridine (DMAP) are described. The reaction of the amidinate silicon(I) dimer [ L Si:]2 ( 1 ; L =PhC(NtBu)2) with one equivalent of N‐trimethylsilyl‐4‐dimethylaminopyridinium triflate [4‐NMe2C5H4NSiMe3]OTf and two equivalents of DMAP in THF afforded [ L Si(DMAP)]OTf ( 2 ). The ambiphilic character of 2 is demonstrated from its reactivity. Treatment of 2 with 1 in THF afforded the disilylenylsilylium triflate [ L′ 2( L )Si]OTf ( 3 ; L′ = L Si:) with the displacement of DMAP. The reaction of 2 with [K{HB(iBu)3}] and elemental sulfur in THF afforded the silylsilylene [ L SiSi(H){(NtBu)2C(H)Ph}] ( 4 ) and the base‐stabilized silanethionium triflate [ L Si(S)DMAP]OTf ( 5 ), respectively. Compounds 2 , 3 , and 5 have been characterized by X‐ray crystallography.  相似文献

Seven new oligomeric complexes of 4,4′‐bipyridine; 3,3′‐bipyridine; benzene‐1,4‐diamine; benzene‐1,3‐diamine; benzene‐1,2‐diamine; and benzidine with rhodium tetraacetate, as well as 4,4′‐bipyridine with molybdenum tetraacetate, have been obtained and investigated by elemental analysis and solid‐state nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, 13C and 15N CPMAS NMR. The known complexes of pyrazine with rhodium tetrabenzoate, benzoquinone with rhodium tetrapivalate, 4,4′‐bipyridine with molybdenum tetrakistrifluoroacetate and the 1 : 1 complex of 2,2′‐bipyridine with rhodium tetraacetate exhibiting axial–equatorial ligation mode have been obtained as well for comparison purposes. Elemental analysis revealed 1 : 1 complex stoichiometry of all complexes. The 15N CPMAS NMR spectra of all new complexes consist of one narrow signal, indicating regular uniform structures. Benzidine forms a heterogeneous material, probably containing linear oligomers and products of further reactions. The complexes were characterized by the parameter complexation shift Δδ (Δδ = δcomplex ? δligand). This parameter ranged from around ?40 to ?90 ppm in the case of heteroaromatic ligands, from around ?12 to ?22 ppm for diamines and from ?16 to ?31 ppm for the complexes of molybdenum tetracarboxylates with 4,4′‐bipyridine. The experimental results have been supported by a density functional theory computation of 15N NMR chemical shifts and complexation shifts at the non‐relativistic Becke, three‐parameter, Perdew‐Wang 91/[6‐311++G(2d,p), Stuttgart] and GGA–PBE/QZ4P levels of theory and at the relativistic scalar and spin‐orbit zeroth order regular approximation/GGA–PBE/QZ4P level of theory. Nucleus‐independent chemical shifts have been calculated for the selected compounds. Copyright © 2015 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

A 1‐phosphonium‐8‐borane‐decorated naphthalene molecule 2 has been found to react with N,N′‐dimethylimidazol‐2‐ylidene (IMe), a popular member of the N‐heterocyclic carbene (NHC) family, which converts it into two vinyl‐amine fragments one of which is trapped between the phosphonium and borane unit by the formation of a C?C and a B?N bond. The same reactivity was not observed for larger NHC molecules. Control experiments and mechanistic studies have established the involvement of an ylide–borane molecule and an imidazolium salt in addition to IMe carbene in this new transformation of an NHC.  相似文献
