We consider the classical mechanics of the spinning particle and investigate which Abelian interactions can be added without breaking supersymmetry. A quantum theory is presented. The well known index theorem for the Dirac operator is extended to take into account the effect of anti-symmetric Abelian tensor fields. Furthermore interactions with non-Abelian anti-symmetric tensor fields are investigated. It turns out in both cases that these fields do not give any non-trivial contributions to the index.  相似文献

 We call superpartitions the indices of the eigenfunctions of the supersymmetric extension of the trigonometric Calogero-Moser-Sutherland model. We obtain an ordering on superpartitions from the explicit action of the model's Hamiltonian on monomial superfunctions. This allows to define Jack superpolynomials as the unique eigenfunctions of the model that decompose triangularly, with respect to this ordering, on the basis of monomial superfunctions. This further leads to a simple and explicit determinantal expression for the Jack superpolynomials. By using the supersymmetric quantum mechanics and shape invariance concept, we study the Dirac equation with the hyperbolic Scarf potential and the exact energy spectrum is obtained. The Jack polynomials ${P_\lambda^{(\alpha)}}$ at ???= ?(k?+?1)/(r ? 1) indexed by certain (k, r, N)-admissible partitions are known to span an ideal ${I_{N}^{(k,r)}}$ of the space of symmetric functions in N variables. The ideal ${I_{N}^{(k,r)}}$ is invariant under the action of certain differential operators which include half the Virasoro algebra. Moreover, the Jack polynomials in ${I_{N}^{(k,r)}}$ admit clusters of size at most k: they vanish when k?+?1 of their variables are identified, and they do not vanish when only k of them are identified. We generalize most of these properties to superspace using orthogonal eigenfunctions of the supersymmetric extension of the trigonometric Calogero-Moser-Sutherland model known as Jack superpolynomials. In particular, we show that the Jack superpolynomials ${P_\lambda^{(\alpha)}}$ at ???= ?(k?+?1)/(r ? 1) indexed by certain (k, r, N)-admissible superpartitions span an ideal ${\mathcal{I}_{N}^{(k,r)}}$ of the space of symmetric polynomials in N commuting variables and N anticommuting variables. We prove that the ideal ${\mathcal{I}_{N}^{(k,r)}}$ is stable with respect to the action of the negative-half of the super-Virasoro algebra. In addition, we show that the Jack superpolynomials in ${\mathcal {I}_{N}^{(k,r)}}$ vanish when k?+?1 of their commuting variables are equal, and conjecture that they do not vanish when only k of them are identified. This allows us to conclude that the standard Jack polynomials with prescribed symmetry should satisfy similar clustering properties. Finally, we conjecture that the elements of ${\mathcal{I}_{N}^{(k,2)}}$ provide a basis for the subspace of symmetric superpolynomials in N variables that vanish when k?+?1 commuting variables are set equal to each other.  相似文献

In this paper quasi-exact solvability(QES)of Dirac equation with some scalar potentials based on sl(2)Lie algebra is studied.According to the quasi-exact solvability theory,we construct the configuration of the classes II,IV,V,and X potentials in the Turbiner’s classification such that the Dirac equation with scalar potential is quasi-exactly solved and the Bethe ansatz equations are derived in order to obtain the energy eigenvalues and eigenfunctions.  相似文献

A simple way to explain quantum behavior of supersymmetric non-isotropic traps is proposed in the framework of semiunitary formulation of supersymmetric quantum mechanics. We find that in a supersymmetric quantum mechanics (SUSY QM) system, in addition to supersymmetric algebra, an associated SU(2) algebra can be obtained by using semiunitary (SUT) operator and projection operator, and the relevant constants of motion can be constructed. Two typical quantum systems are investigated as examples to demonstrate the above finding. The first example is the quantum system of a nonrelativistic charged particle moving in x-y plane and coupled to a magnetic field along z-axis. The second example is provided with the Dirac particle in a magnetic field. Similarly there exists an SUτ(2) SUσ(2) symmetry in the context of the relativistic Pauli Hamilt onian squared. We show that there exists also an SU(2) symmetry associated with the supersvmmetrv of the Dirac particle.  相似文献

A phase time definition directly obtained from the Schr6dinger equation is used to investigate the time delay of a particle scattered by complex reflectionless potential. The artifacts introduced by truncating in the numerical simulation are clarified. The time delay of the transmitted wave packet is found to be equal to the reflection time of the truncated potential. Both time delays are the same as the traversal time in the free space, but shorter than the time taken by a classical particle to pass the same potential.  相似文献

提出并证明了一维量子系统和三维球对称量子系统的一个精确的量子化条件.在此精确量子化条件中, 除了通常的Nπ项外, 还有一积分项, 称为修正项. 发现该修正项正是在超对称量子力学中所谓的有形状不变势的量子系统的一个不变量,它不依赖于波函数的节点数.对这些系统, 可用基态能级和波函数确定此不变量的值, 从而由精确的量子化条件容易算出全部束缚态的能级. 计算得到能级的正确性又反过来验证了在有形状不变势的量子系统中此修正项确实是不变量.计算的有形状不变势的量子系统, 包括一维的有限方势阱、Morse势及其变形、R 关键词: 量子化条件 超对称量子力学 形状不变势 不变量  相似文献

Using the formalism of supersymmetric quantum mechanics, we give an exact solution for a family of one-dimensional periodic potentials, which are the supersymmetric partners of the potential proportional to the trigonometric function cos(2x) such that the Schr?dinger equation for this potential is named the Mathieu equation mathematically. We show that the new potentials are distinctly different from their original ones. However, both have the same energy band structure. All the potentials obtained in this paper are free of singularities.  相似文献

The primary resource for quantum computation is Hilbert-space dimension. Whereas Hilbert space itself is an abstract construction, the number of dimensions available to a system is a physical quantity that requires physical resources. Avoiding a demand for an exponential amount of these resources places a fundamental constraint on the systems that are suitable for scalable quantum computation. To be scalable, the effective number of degrees of freedom in the computer must grow nearly linearly with the number of qubits in an equivalent qubit-based quantum computer.  相似文献

The spin-weighted spheroidal equation in the case of s=1/2 is thoroughly studied by using the perturbation method from the supersymmetric quantum mechanics.The first-five terms of the superpotential in the series of parameter β are given.The general form for the n-th term of the superpotential is also obtained,which could also be derived from the previous terms W k,k < n.From these results,it is easy to obtain the ground eigenfunction of the equation.Furthermore,the shape-invariance property in the series of parameter β is investigated and is proven to be kept.This nice property guarantees that the excited eigenfunctions in the series form can be obtained from the ground eigenfunction by using the method from the supersymmetric quantum mechanics.We show the perturbation method in supersymmetric quantum mechanics could completely solve the spin-weight spheroidal wave equations in the series form of the small parameter β.  相似文献

By using the super-symmetric quantum mechanics (SUSYQM) method, this paper obtains the analytical solutions for the spin-weighted spheroidal wave equation in the case of s = 2. Based on the derived W 0 to W 4 the general form for the n-th-order super-potential is summarized and is proved correct by mathematical induction. Hence the ground eigenvalue problem is completely solved. Particularly, the novel solutions of the excited state are investigated according to the shape-invariance property.  相似文献
