Projected subgradient method for non-Lipschitz set-valued mixed variational inequalities

A projected subgradient method for solving a class of set-valued mixed variational inequalities (SMVIs) is proposed when the mapping is not necessarily Lipschitz. Under some suitable conditions, it can be proven that the sequence generated by the method can strongly converge to the unique solution to the problem in the Hilbert spaces.

Nonempty intersection theorems and system of generalized vector equilibrium problems in product G-convex spaces

By using an existence theorems of maximal elements for a family of set-valued mappings in G-convex spaces due to the author, some new nonempty intersection theorems for a family of set-valued mappings were established in noncompact product G-convex spaces. As applications, some equilibrium existence theorems for a system of generalized vector equilibrium problems were proved in noncompact product G-convex spaces. These theorems unify, improve and generalize some important known results in literature.     

Auxiliary principle and three-step iterative algorithms for generalized set-valued strongly nonlinear mixed variational-like inequalities

An auxiliary principle technique to study a class of generalized set-valued strongly nonlinear mixed variational-like inequalities is extended. The existence and uniqueness of the solution of the auxiliary problem for the generalized set-valued strongly nonlinear mixed variational-like inequalities are proved, a novel and innovative three-step iterative algorithm to compute approximate solution is constructed, and the existence of the solution of the generalized set-valued strongly nonlinear mixed variational-like inequality is shown using the auxiliary principle technique. The convergence of three-step iterative sequences generated by the algorithm is also proved.

KUHN-TUCKER CONDITION AND WOLFE DUALITY OF PREINVEX SET-VALUED OPTIMIZATION

The optimality Kuhn-Tucker condition and the wolfe duality for the prein-vex set-valued optimization are investigated. Firstly, the concepts of alpha-order G-invex set and the alpha-order S-preinvex set-valued function were introduced, from which the properties of the corresponding contingent cone and the alpha-order contingent derivative were studied. Finally, the optimality Kuhn-Tucker condition and the Wolfe duality theorem for the alpha-order S-preinvex set-valued optimization were presented with the help of the alpha-order contingent derivative.     

Existence and stability of common fixed points for systems of mappings

In this paper,we establish some common fixed point theorems and stability theorems of the sets of common fixed points for the systems of set-valued and single-valued nonlinear contractive type mappings in a finite Cartesian product of metric spaces.     

MAXIMAL ELEMENTS OF A FAMILY OF GB-MAJORIZED MAPPINGS IN PRODUCT FC-SPACES AND APPLICATIONS

A new family of GB-majorized mappings from a topological space into a finite continuous topological spaces （in short, FC-space） involving a better admissible set-valued mapping is introduced. Some existence theorems of maximal elements for the family of GB-majorized mappings are proved under noncompact setting of product FCspaces. Some applications to fixed point and system of minimax inequalities are given in product FC-spaces. These theorems improve, unify and generalize many important results in recent literature.     

Maximal elements and generalized games involving condensing mappings in locally FC-uniform spaces and applications （I）

First, the notions of the measure of noncompactness and condensing set-valued mappings are introduced in locally FC-uniform spaces without convexity structure. A new existence theorem of maximal elements of a family of set-valued mappings involving condensing mappings is proved in locally FC-uniform spaces. As applications, some new equilibrium existence theorems of generalized game involving condensing mappings are established in locally FC-uniform spaces. These results improve and generalize some known results in literature to locally FC-uniform spaces. Some further applications of our results to the systems of generalized vector quasi-equilibrium problems will be given in a follow-up paper. Nonempty intersection theorems in topological spaces with applications

In this paper, we establish some new nonempty intersection theorems for generalized L-KKM mappings and prove some new fixed point theorems for set-valued mappings under suitable conditions in topological spaces. As applications, an existence theorem for an equilibrium problem with lower and upper bounds and two existence theorems for a quasi-equilibrium problem with lower and upper bounds are obtained in topological spaces. Our results generalize some known results in the literature.     

Degenerate scale problem in antiplane elasticity or Laplace equation for contour shapes of triangles or quadrilaterals

This paper provides several solutions to the degenerate scale for the shapes of triangles or quadrilaterals in an exterior boundary value problem (BVP) of the antiplane elasticity or the Laplace equation. The Schwarz-Christoffel mapping is used throughout. It is found that a complex potential with a simple form in the mapping plane satisfies the vanishing displacement condition (or w = 0) along the boundary of the unit circle when the dimension R reaches its critical value 1. This means that the degenerate size in the physical plane is also achieved. The degenerate scales can be evaluated from the particular integrals depending on certain parameters in the mapping function. The numerical results of degenerate sizes for the shapes of triangles or quadrilaterals are provided.     

On new chaotic mappings in symbol space

A well known chaotic mapping in symbol space is a shift mapping.However,other chaotic mappings in symbol space exist too.The basic change is to consider the process not only at a set of times which are equally spaced,say at unit time apart(a shift mapping),but at a set of times which are not equally spaced,say if the unit time can not be fixed.The increasing mapping as a generalization of the shift mapping and the k-switch mapping are introduced.The increasing and k-switch mappings are chaotic.

UNIFORM NORMAL STRUCTURE AND SOLUTIONS OF REICH’S OPEN QUESTION

The open question raised by Reich is studied in a Banach space with uniform normal structure, whose norm is uniformly Gateaux differentiable. Under more suitable assumptions imposed on an asymptotically nonexpansive mapping, an affirmative answer to Reich＇ s open question is given. The results presented extend and improve Zhang Shisheng＇ s recent ones in the following aspects ： （i） Zhang＇ s stronger condition that the sequence of iterative parameters converges to zero is removed; （ii） Zhang＇ s stronger assumption that the asymptotically nonexpansive mapping has a fixed point is removed; （iii） Zhang＇ s stronger condition that the sequence generated by the Banach Contraction Principle is strongly convergent is also removed. Moreover, these also extend and improve the corresponding ones obtained previously by several authors including Reich, Shioji, Takahashi,Ueda and Wittmann.

含有非圆形双孔的无限平板中应力的解析解研究

无限平板中含有任意形状单个孔的问题可以使用复变函数方法获得其应力解析解.对于无限平板中含有两个圆孔或两个椭圆孔的双连通域问题,也可以利用多种方法进行求解,比如双极坐标法、应力函数法、复变函数法以及施瓦茨交替法等.其中复变函数中的保角变换方法是获得应力解析解的一个重要方法.但目前尚未见到用此方法求解无限板中含有一个正方形孔和一个椭圆孔的问题.当板在无穷远处受有均布载荷和孔边作用垂直均布压力时,利用保角变换方法可以求解板中含有两个特定形状孔的问题.该方法将所讨论的区域映射成象平面里的一个圆环,其中最关键的一步是找出相应的映射函数.基于黎曼映射定理,提出了该映射函数一般形式,并利用最优化方法,找到了该问题的具体映射函数,然后通过孔边应力边界条件建立了求解两个解析函数的基本方程,获得了该问题的应力解析解.运用ANSYS有限单元法与结果进行了对比.研究了孔距、椭圆形孔大小和两孔布置方位对边界切向应力的影响,以及不同载荷下两孔中心线上应力分布规律.      

Solution of Fixed Final State Optimal Control Problems via Simple Cell Mapping

A strategy is proposed to solve the fixed final state optimalcontrol problem using the simple cell mapping method. A non-uniform timestep simple cell mapping is developed to create a general database fromwhich solutions of various optimal control problems can be obtained. Atwo-stage backward search algorithm is proposed to eliminate degeneratedpaths often associated with the simple cell mapping. The proposed methodcan accurately delineate the switching curves and eliminate false limitcycles in the solution. The method is applied to two optimal controlproblems with bang-bang control. The well-known minimum time controlproblem of moving a point mass from any initial condition to the originof the phase plane is studied first. This example has exact solutionsavailable which provide a yardstick to examine the accuracy of themethod. The cell size dependence of the solution accuracy is studiednumerically. The second example is a variable stiffness feedback controlproblem with tuning range saturation. The strategy proposed is able toprovide the switching curves in the phase plane. This result has notbeen obtained before.     

Iterative algorithm for solutions to new system of generalized mixed implicit equilibrium

A new system of generalized mixed implicit equilibrium problems(SGMIEP) involving nonmonotone set-valued mappings is introduced and studied in real reflexive Banach spaces.First,an auxiliary mixed equilibrium problem(AMEP) is introduced.The existence and the uniqueness of the solutions to the AMEP are proved under quite mild assumptions without any coercive conditions.Next,by using the solution mapping of the AMEP,a system of generalized equation problems(SGEP) is considered,and its equivalence with the SGMIEP is shown.By using the SGEP,a new iterative algorithm for solving the SGMIEP is proposed and analyzed.The strong convergence of the iterative sequences generated by the algorithm is proved under suitable conditions.These results are new,which unify and generalize some recent results in this field.
