This paper presents necessary and sufficient conditions fordiscrete-time interval systems to be quadratically stable orquadratically stabilizable, and sufficient conditions for discrete-timeinterval systems to be controllable. All the results are obtainedin terms of linear matrix inequality (LMI). With the LMI toolbox,the problems can be conveniently solved. Illustrative numericalexamples show that the results are effective and less conservativeto check the robust controllability and stability and to designthe stabilizing controller for discrete-time interval systems. 相似文献

We consider the exact null controllability problem for the semi- linear heat equation with dissipative nonlinearity in a bounded domain of Rn . The main result of the article asserts that if the nonlinearity is even mildly superlinear, then global null controllability in an arbitrarily short time fails; instead we provide sharp estimates for the controllability time in terms of the size of the initial data. 相似文献

The problems of solvability, controllability, and observability for the singular systemKx(t)=Ax(t)+Bu(t) are studied, whereK is a singular, square matrix andu(t) is a complex vector function sufficiently differentiable. The classical theories of matrix pencils are first related to the solvability of singular systems. Then, the concepts of reachability, controllability, and observability of regular systems are extended to singular systems. Finally, the set of reachable states is described. In this paper, by means of a constructive method based on the existence and uniqueness of the semi‐global C2 solution, we establish the local exact boundary controllability for a kind of second‐order quasilinear hyperbolic systems. As an application, we obtain the one‐sided local exact boundary controllability for the first‐order quasilinear hyperbolic systems of diagonal form with boundary conditions in which the diagonal variables corresponding to the positive eigenvalues and those corresponding to the negative eigenvalues are decoupled. This paper deals with the global exact controllability for first-order quasilinear hyperbolic systems of diagonal form with linearly degenerate characteristics. When the system has no zero characteristics, we establish the global exact boundary controllability from one arbitrarily preassigned C1 data to another by means of a constructive method, in which the desired boundary controls can be acted either on both sides or only on one side. Sharp estimates on the exact controllable time are given in both cases. When the system has some zero characteristics, the global exact controllability is also established. 相似文献

We consider the linear stationary systems of ordinary differential equations (ODEs) that are unsolvedwith respect to the derivative of the unknown vector-function and degenerate identically in the domain of definition. These systems are usually called differential-algebraic equations (DAEs). The measure of how a system of DAEs is unsolved with respect to the derivative is an integer which is called the index of the system of DAEs. The analysis is carried out under the assumption of existence of a structural form with separated differential and algebraic subsystems. We investigate the robust controllability of these systems (controllability in the conditions of uncertainty). The sufficient conditions for the robust complete and R-controllability of a system of DAEs with the indices 1 and 2 are obtained. 相似文献

The research deals with complete and approximate controllability of the system , without control restraints to an arbitrary convex target set. First, some characterizations of complete controllability, to the target of (1) and a special case of (1) namely are given. As a consequence complete controllability is equivalent to null-controllability. Next certain equations are formulated. These are in the same spirit as J. P. Dauer's “A Controllability Technique for Nonlinear Systems” (J. Math. Anal. Appl. oo (1972), 442–451) and are utilized in the main contribution of the paper: Under certain convexity assumption, bounded perturbations of systems which are completely controllable to a fixed target G are completely controllable to G. Without the convexity assumption, but with perturbations satisfying a Lipschitz condition, approximate controllability to G of a perturbed system is equivalent to complete controllability to G of the unperturbed equation. 相似文献
