In the present investigation, a novel series of 3‐(4‐(2‐substituted thiazol‐4‐yl)phenyl)‐2‐(4‐methyl‐2‐substituted thiazol‐5‐yl)thiazolidin‐4‐one derivatives were synthesized by condensation of 2‐substituted‐4‐methylthiazole‐5‐carbaldehyde with 4‐(2‐substituted thiazol‐4‐yl)benzenamine followed by cyclo‐condensation with thioglycolic acid in toluene. All the newly synthesized compounds were characterized by spectral (IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, and Mass) methods. The title compounds were screened for quantitative antibacterial activity (minimal inhibitory concentration). All compounds 7a , 7b , 7c , 7d , 7e , 7f , 7g , 7h and 8a , 8b , 8c , 8d , 8e , 8f , 8g , 8h show moderate to good antimicrobial activity, whereas compounds ( 7a , 7b , 7c , 7d , 7e , 7f , 7g , 7h ) also show moderate antifungal activity. 相似文献

An efficiently synthesis of chromones via cyclodehydration of corresponding 1‐(2‐hydroxyphenyl)‐3‐(pyridine‐3‐yl)propane‐1,3‐dione is described under ultrasound irradiation. A series of novel 2‐(pyridine‐3‐yl)‐4H‐chromen‐4‐one derivatives was confirmed on the basis of 1H‐NMR, mass, IR spectral data, and elemental analysis. The synthesized compounds were evaluated for their antibacterial and antifungal activities. Most of the compounds were found to be comparable potent than the reference standard drugs. Utilization of ultrasound irradiation, simple reaction conditions, isolation, and purification makes this manipulation very interesting from an economic and environmental perspective. 相似文献

A series of 3‐(4‐phenylisothiazol‐5‐yl)‐2H‐chromen‐2‐one ( 6a – l ) derivatives has been efficiently synthesized by straightforward sequential reactions. Tandem Vilsmeier Hack reaction/cyclization/bromination/Suzuki cross‐coupling reactions were successfully applied to the preparation of title compounds in good‐to‐high yields. In the synthetic sequences, 3‐chloro‐3‐(2‐oxo‐2H‐chromen‐3‐yl)acrylaldehydes ( 2 ) were found to react with ammonium thiocyanate to yield the corresponding 3‐(isothiazol‐5‐yl)‐2H‐chromen‐2‐ones ( 3 ). These derivatives were brominated with N‐bromo succinamide to yield the corresponding regioselective 3‐(4‐bromoisothiazol‐5‐yl)‐2H‐chromen‐2‐one ( 4 ). Finally, compound 4 was treated with various phenyl/pyrazole/7H –pyrrolo[2,3‐d]pyrimidinyl boronic acids 5a – l in the presence of K2CO3 and Pd catalyst in dimethylformamide to yield the corresponding title derivatives 6a – l . All the synthesized compounds were characterized by analytical and spectral studies. All the final compounds were screened against different cancer cell lines (A549, PC3, SKOV3, and B16F10), and among these compounds, 6b , 6g , 6h , and 6l displayed moderate cytotoxic activity against the tested cell lines. 相似文献

Pyrazolo[4,3‐d]pyrimidines, pyrazolo[4,3‐d]triazolino[4,3‐a]pyrimidines, 3‐(2‐thiazolyl)thiophenes, thiazolo[3,2‐a]pyridine and pyrazolo[1,5‐a]pyrimidines were synthesized from 2‐[4‐(3‐oxobenzo[f]‐2H‐chromen‐2‐yl)‐1,3‐thiazol‐2‐yl]ethanenitrile. The newly synthesized compounds were elucidated by elemental analysis, spectral data, chemical transformation and alternative synthesis route whenever possible. 相似文献

A new polymorph (denoted polymorph II) of 3‐acetyl‐4‐hydroxy‐2H‐chromen‐2‐one, C11H8O4, was obtained unexpectedly during an attempt to recrystallize the compound from salt–melted ice, and the structure is compared with that of the original polymorph (denoted polymorph I) [Lyssenko & Antipin (2001). Russ. Chem. Bull. 50 , 418–431]. Strong intramolecular O—H...O hydrogen bonds are observed equally in the two polymorphs [O...O = 2.4263 (13) Å in polymorph II and 2.442 (1) Å in polymorph I], with a slight delocalization of the hydroxy H atom towards the ketonic O atom in polymorph II [H...O = 1.32 (2) Å in polymorph II and 1.45 (3) Å in polymorph I]. In both crystal structures, the packing of the molecules is dominated and stabilized by weak intermolecular C—H...O hydrogen bonds. Additional π–π stacking interactions between the keto–enol hydrogen‐bonded rings stabilize polymorph I [the centres are separated by 3.28 (1) Å], while polymorph II is stabilized by interactions between α‐pyrone rings, which are parallel to one another and separated by 3.670 (5) Å. 相似文献

A series of novel 3‐(coumarin‐4‐yl)tetrahydroisoxazoles 5a,b, 7, 9 and 3‐(coumarin‐4‐yl)dihydropyra‐zoles 13a‐d, 14,15a,b were synthesized from coumarin‐4‐carboxaldehyde 1 via the intermediate N‐methyl nitrone 3 and N‐phenyl or N‐methyl hydrazones 11a,b . These coumarin derivatives were isolated, characterized and evaluated in vitro for their ability to inhibit trypsin, β‐glucuronidase, soybean lipoxygenase and to interact with the stable radical 1,1‐diphenyl‐2‐picrylhydrazyl. The compounds were tested in vivo as anti‐inflammatory agents in the rat carrageenin paw edema assay. Compound 15a seems to be a lead molecule to be modified in order to improve the lipoxygenase inhibition. The results are discussed in terms of structural characteristics. 相似文献

The photo‐irradiation of thienylchromenone resulted in the regioselective cyclization which is exclusively controlled by the nature of solvent used as reaction medium. Compared to nonpolar medium, polar solvent furnished a diverse array of novel angular tetracyclic photoproducts with gem‐dihydro functionality and exocyclic double bonds on the fused pyran ring, which is unprecedented to best of our knowledge. 相似文献

A series of novel N‐(4‐(2‐aryloxythiazol‐5‐yl)but‐3‐yn‐2‐yl)benzamide derivatives were designed and synthesized. Their structures were identified by 1H NMR and elemental analyses. Preliminary bioassays indicated that some title compounds provided >80% control of Sclerotinia sclerotiorum at 50 µg/mL and >70% herbicidal activities against B. campestris at 100 µg/mL. The title 4,4′‐disubstituted diphenyl‐1,3‐triazines, C14H15N3, (I), C12H9ClFN3, (II), and C13H12FN3, (III), each contain a triazene group (–N=N—NH–) having an extended conformation. The dihedral angles between the two benzene rings in (I), (II) and (III) are 4.3, 3.4 and 6.5°, respectively. The molecules are almost entirely planar, with maximum deviations from the mean planes of 0.1087 (2), −0.1072 (7) and 0.1401 (3) Å, respectively. In each compound, the molecules are linked by N—H⋯N hydrogen bonds to form chains and pack similarly in the crystal structures. 相似文献

A series of novel 3‐((4‐(t‐butyl)‐2‐(2‐benzylidenehydrazinyl)thiazol‐5‐yl)methyl)quinolin‐2(1H)‐ones ( 7a – 7z ) were designed, synthesized and evaluated for their ability of inhibiting neuraminidase (NA) of in?uenza H1N1 virus. Some compounds displayed moderate influenza NA inhibitory activity. Compound 7l with the scaffold of 2‐(2‐(2‐methoxybenzylidene)hydrazinyl)thiazole was the best one, exhibiting moderate NA inhibitory activity with IC50 of 44.66 µmol/L. Structure‐activity relationship showed that compounds with methoxy or hydroxy groups at the ortho position, fluorine and nitro groups at the meta position and chlorine and bromine groups at the para position of phenyl ring were more active. Docking study indicated that compound 7l has important interactions with some key residues (including Asp151, Glu119, Arg292, Tyr406, and Asn347) and binds to 430‐cavity adjacent to NA active site. 相似文献

3‐(2‐Hydroxy‐2‐phenylethyl)‐ and 3‐(2‐hydroxy‐1‐phenylethyl)adenine, DNA adducts derived from styrene, along with their 9‐substituted analogues were prepared by alkylation of 8‐bromoadenine with corresponding allyl‐protected bromohydrins followed by a new deallylation procedure using tetrakis(triphenylphosphine)palladium catalyzed reductive cleavage by poly(methylhydrosiloxane) in the presence of p‐toluenesulphonic acid. This novel procedure proved to be useful for purine derivatives, which were resistant to other deallylation protocols. A series of 2‐substituted phenoxy‐N‐(4‐substituted phenyl‐5‐(1H‐1,2,4‐triazol‐1‐yl)thiazole‐2‐yl)acetamide derivatives 8a , 8b , 8c , 8d , 8e , 8f , 8g , 8h , 8i , 8j , 8k , 8l , 8m , 8n , 8o , 8p , 8q , 8r , 8s , 8t was synthesized by the reaction of phenoxyacetyl chloride 7 with intermediate 4‐substituted phenyl‐5‐(1H‐1,2,4‐triazol‐1‐yl)thiazol‐2‐amine 5 . Their structures were confirmed by 1H NMR, 13C NMR, MS, IR, and elemental analyses. The synthesized compounds were also screened for their antimicrobial activity against three types of plant fungi (Gibberella zeae , Phytophthora infestans , and Paralepetopsis sasakii ) and two kinds of bacteria [Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae (Xoo ) and Xanthomonas axonopodis pv. citri (Xac )] showing promising results. In particular, 8b , 8f , 8g , and 8h exhibited excellent antibacterial activity against Xoo , with 50% effective concentration (EC50) values of 35.2, 80.1, 62.5, and 82.1 µg/mL, respectively, which are superior to the commercial antibacterial agent bismerthiazol (89.9 µg/mL). The preliminary structure–activity relationship studies of these compounds are also briefly described. 相似文献

This study of 3‐(5‐phenyl‐1,3,4‐oxadiazol‐2‐yl)‐2H‐chromen‐2‐one, C17H10N2O3, 1 , and 3‐[5‐(pyridin‐4‐yl)‐1,3,4‐oxadiazol‐2‐yl]‐2H‐chromen‐2‐one, C16H9N3O3, 2 , was performed on the assumption of the potential anticancer activity of the compounds. Three polymorphic structures for 1 and two polymorphic structures for 2 have been studied thoroughly. The strongest intermolecular interaction is stacking of the `head‐to‐head' type in all the studied crystals. The polymorphic structures of 1 differ with respect to the intermolecular interactions between stacked columns. Two of the polymorphs have a columnar or double columnar type of crystal organization, while the third polymorphic structure can be classified as columnar‐layered. The difference between the two structures of 2 is less pronounced. Both crystals can be considered as having very similar arrangements of neighbouring columns. The formation of polymorphic modifications is caused by a subtle balance of very weak intermolecular interactions and packing differences can be identified only using an analysis based on a study of the pairwise interaction energies. 相似文献

The four new sesquiterpenoids 1 – 4 , and the new 2‐(2‐phenylethyl)‐4H‐chromen‐4‐one (=2‐(2‐phenylethyl)‐4H‐1‐benzopyran‐4‐one) derivative 5 , together with the two known sesquiterpenoids 6 and 7 , the five known chromenones 8 – 12 , and 1‐hydroxy‐1,5‐diphenylpentan‐3‐one ( 13 ), were isolated from a 70% MeOH extract of Aquilaria malaccensis agarwood chips. 2‐Formylchromones and 3‐formylchromones as the first materials singly reacted with 2‐amino‐5‐mercapto‐1,3,4‐thiadiazole to give the corresponding Schiff bases, which on cyclocondensation with mercapto‐acetic acid in 1,4‐dioxane yielded target compounds named 4‐oxo‐thiazolidines. A series of novel thiazolidinones, that is, 2‐(2‐hydroxy‐5‐((aryl)‐diazenyl)phenyl)‐3‐(4‐hydroxyphenyl)‐thiazolidin‐4‐one, have been synthesized by reaction of various Schiff bases 2‐(4‐hydroxyphenylimino)methyl)‐4‐(aryl)diazenyl)phenol with ethanolic thioglycolic acid. Schiff bases were obtained by the reactions of 4‐amino phenol with 2‐hydroxy‐5‐((aryl)diazenyl)benzaldehyde. The structures of the newly synthesized compounds were confirmed by IR, 1H NMR, mass spectra, and C, H, N elemental analysis.
