The cyclization of (2-bromophenyl)thioacetic acid morpholide to 2-(morpholin-4-yl)-1-benzothiophene in the presence of copper(II) chloride has been found to involve intermediate formation of a complex consisting of two thioamide molecules and one copper cation. Complex formation of copper(II) ions with the galactarate ion [Gala]2 - in aqueous solution was studied by means of potentiometric titration. Stability constants of the [CuGala] and [Cu(Gala)2]2 - complexes were determined. A complex compound was synthesized electrochemically and isolated from a DMSO solution containing a copper(II) salt and galactaric acid, and its composition was determined. A new complex [Cu(phen)3][(C6H5)2C(OH)COO]2·6H2O was prepared by self-assembly of benzilic acid, 1,10-phenanthroline (phen), and copper perchlorate. It crystallizes in triclinic, space group P1, with a = 1.14661(17), b = 1.6455(2), c = 1.6457(2) nm, α = 74.779(2), β = 74.904(3), γ = 84.424(3)o, V = 2.8914(7) nm3, Dc = 1.340 g/cm3, Z = 2, F(000) = 1218, GOOF = 1.018, the final R = 0.0643 and wR = 0.1633. The crystal structure shows that the copper ion is coordinated with six nitrogen atoms from six 1,10-phenanthroline molecules, forming a distorted octahedral coordination geometry.  相似文献

Abstract

Crown ether-potassium ion complex extracts selectively copper-zincon anion complex as ion-pairs into chloroform phase in the presence of copper-zincon and zinc-zincon chelate anion, whereas quarternary ammonium ion extracts both anions. By measuring the absorbance of the chloroform phase at 615 nm, copper in the presence of zinc has been determined spectrophotometrically. The composition of extracted species was estimated to be Cu2+-zincon4?-(KL+)2.  相似文献

The Cu(acac)2 complex was investigated by X-ray emission and XANES spectroscopy using synchrotron radiation. Structural data for the complex were obtained in chloroform solution and C2F matrix. The experimental spectra and their fitting on a single scale of binding energies point to possible relaxation effects. As shown by model quantum-chemical calculations, the structure and energy position of the LUMOs constructed from the vacant metal 4p, 5p AOs strongly depends on the nature of the nearest environment.Original Russian Text Copyright © 2004 by L. The molecular structure of a copper(II) nitrate complex with acrylamide (AA), Cu(NO3)2· 4(CH2=CHC(O)NH2), was determined using X-ray diffraction analysis. The coordination of AA involves the carbonyl O atom (Cu–O 1.952–1.958 Å). The X-ray study revealed the structural features of the compound that determine its chemical properties and prevent its frontal polymerization.  相似文献

Prostate Cancer (PCa) is the second leading cause of cancer-related deaths among men worldwide. The treatment of advanced cases is based on chemotherapy, which lacks specificity and efficacy, due to severe side effects and resistance to the traditional drugs. Copper complexes have shown antitumoral efficacy and low toxicity, being considered a promising class of metal-based drugs for the treatment of malignant neoplasms. Thus, the present study aimed to evaluate the cellular effects of a copper(II) complex with 4-fluorophenoxyacetic acid hydrazide and 1,10-phenanthroline (1) on PCa cell lines, as well as the mutagenic/recombinogenic and anticarcinogenic potential of 1 in Drosophila melanogaster. PNT-2 (non-tumorigenic), LNCaP (hormone-responsive PCa) and PC-3 (androgen-independent PCa) cells were cultured, and cytotoxicity was assessed using the MTT assay. The expression levels of the proliferation markers Ki-67 and Cyclin D1 were analyzed by flow cytometry. Furthermore, the Somatic Mutation and Recombination Test (SMART) and the Epithelial Tumor Test (ETT) were performed. Complex 1 was selective to LNCaP cells, significantly reducing Ki-67 and Cyclin D1 expression levels. Sub-toxic concentrations of complex 1 were defined by the toxicity test in D. melanogaster, and no mutagenic/recombinogenic/carcinogenic effects were observed. Anticarcinogenic potential was observed in D. melanogaster, suggesting modulating activity of the complex 1 against Doxorubicin, a drug used as control by its carcinogenic properties. Therefore, complex 1 is a possible starting point for the development of new antitumor agents for the treatment of PCa.  相似文献

The crystal and molecular structure of [La(NO3)3]4(C12H26O5)3 has been determined from low-temperature single-crystal X-ray diffraction data. The complex crystallizes in the monoclinic space group I2 with Z = 2. Lattice parameters at 150 K are a = 12.234 (6) Å, b = 11.105 (5), c = 26.613 (9), β = 90.65 (4)°. The structure was solved by Patterson and Fourier techniques and refined to a conventional RF-value of 0.068. The compound contains three dinitrato complex cations [La(NO3)2C12H26O6]+ with 10-coordinate lanthanum ions and one hexanitrato anion, [La(NO3)6]3?, with a 12-coordinate La(III)-ion. One complex cation has a C2-symmetry while the two others, which are crystallographically equivalent, have no symmetry and contain a disordered ligand molecule. The polyther adopts a ring-like conformation in all the complex moietis. The La? O(nitrate) distances lie in the ranges 2.52–2.53 and 2.49–2.62 Å, with average values of 2.53 (7) and 2.56 (6) Å, respectively, fo the species with C2- and C1-symmetry; the La? O(ether) bond lengths lie int he range 2.54–2.79 Å (average: 2.6 (1)) for the C2-moiety and their mean value amounts to 2.6 (2) for the disordered species. The hexanitrate has a C2-symmetry and the La? O distances range between 2.56 and 2.67 Å with an average value fo 2.64 (4) Å. The effective ionic radii of the 10- and 12-coordinate La(III) ions are estimated as 1.28 and 1.33 Å, respectively.  相似文献

The crystal structure of the binuclear Cu(II) complex [Cu(flu)2DMF]2 (flu = deprotonated N-3-trifluromethylphenylanthranilic acid: DMF = dimethylformamide) has been solved by single crystal X-ray diffractometry. A new coordination polymer of Cu(II) based on 1-phenyl-3-methyl-4-formyl-5-hydroxypyrazole 4,6-dimethylpyrimidylhydrazone is synthesized. The polymer is studied by X-ray diffraction analysis (CIF file CCDC no. 1565772). It is shown that the polymer is formed due to the coordination of the nitrogen atom of the pyrazolone fragment to the copper(II) ion of the adjacent monomeric fragment.  相似文献

A neutral mononuclear complex [Cu(cbIm)4(NO3)2] (cbIm = 4'-cyanobenzyl-1-imidazol) was synthesized and characterized by x-ray crystallography. It crystallizes in the triclinic space group P-1 with a = 8.249(2), b = 8.735(2), c = 16.597(2) Å, f = 81.980(10), g = 88.540(10), n = 63.570(10)° and Z = 2. The final refinement of the structure leads to R and Rw of 0.0394 and 0.0991, respectively. The crystal structure of the complex indicates a distorted octahedral environment around the Cu(II) atom, coordinated by four imidazole N atoms of four cbIm and two O atoms of two nitrates. Crystal structure of copper (II) complex with a new aminocarboxylate ligand, 3-hydroxyl-1, 5-diazacycloheptane-N,N-diacetate, C9H14CuN2O5.H2O, Mr=311.78 is reported. It crystallizes in orthorhombic Pna21 with a=13.340(4), b=8.127(1), c=10.583(4) , V=1147.2(7)3 , Z=4, Dc=1.805g/cm3, μ=19.287cm-1 (MoKα), F(000)=644. The final R and Rw are 0.049 and 0.065 for 888 observed reflections with I≥3σ(I). The result of X-ray structure determination shows that the Cu(Ⅱ) forms a planar complex with two oxygen atoms and two nitrogen atoms of the ligand.  相似文献
