Positive and negative hierarchies of nonlinear integrable lattice models are derived from a discrete spectral problem. The two lattice hierarchies are proved to have discrete zero curvature representations associated with a discrete spectral problem, which also shows that the positive and negative hierarchies correspond to positive and negative power expansions of Lax operators with respect to the spectral parameter, respectively. Moreover, the integrable lattice models in the positive hierarchy are of polynomial type, and the integrable lattice models in the negative hierarchy are of rational type. Further, we construct three integrable coupling systems of the positive hierarchy through enlarging Lax pair method.  相似文献

Two hierarchies of integrable positive and negative nonlinear lattice systems are derived from a discrete iso-spectral problem. When the Lax operators are expanded by virtue of the positive and negative power expansion with respect to the spectral parameter, we get the corresponding integrable hierarchies. By virtue of zero curvature representations, we are successful to generate the Lax representations of two hierarchies of discrete lattice equations respectively, which are derived from two new and interesting 3 × 3 matrix spectral problems. Moreover, by using the trace identity, the bi-Hamiltonian structures of the above systems are given, and it is shown that they are integrable in the Liouville sense. Finally, infinitely many conservation laws for the second hierarchy of lattice equations are given by a direct method.  相似文献

Staring from a new spectral problem, a hierarchy of the soliton equations is derived. It is shown that the associated hierarchies are infinite-dimensional integrable Hamiltonian systems. By the procedure of nonlinearization of the Lax pairs, the integrable decomposition of the whole soliton hierarchy is given. Further, we construct two integrable coupling systems for the hierarchy by the conception of semidirect sums of Lie algebras.  相似文献

Firstly, a hierarchy of integrable lattice equations and its bi-Hamilt-onian structures are established by applying the discrete trace identity. Secondly, under an implicit Bargmann symmetry constraint, every lattice equation in the nonlinear differential-difference system is decomposed by an completely integrable symplectic map and a finite-dimensional Hamiltonian system. Finally, the spatial part and the temporal part of the Lax pairs and adjoint Lax pairs are all constrained as finite dimensional Liouville integrable Hamiltonian systems.  相似文献

Staring from a discrete spectral problem, a hierarchy of the lattice soliton equations is derived. It is shown that each lattice equation in resulting hierarchy is Liouville integrable discrete Hamiltonian system. The binary nonlinearization of the Lax pairs and the adjoint Lax pairs of the resulting hierarchy is discussed. Each lattice soliton equation in the resulting hierarchy can be factored by an integrable symplectic map and a finite-dimensional integrable system in Liouville sense. We show that the recursion operators of the integrable lattice equations usually considered in the literature can also be used to generate hierarchies of differential-delay equations. All members of these hierarchies of lattice and differential-delay equations commute. It is thus seen that differential-delay hierarchies provide a broader context within which to place lattice hierarchies.  相似文献

Within the zero curvature formulation, a hierarchy of integrable lattice equations is constructed from an arbitrary-order matrix discrete spectral problem of Ablowitz-Ladik type. The existence of infinitely many symmetries and conserved functionals is a consequence of the Lax operator algebra and the trace identity. When the involved two potential vectors are scalar, all the resulting integrable lattice equations are reduced to the standard AblowitzLadik hierarchy.  相似文献

In general, Liouville integrable hierarchies of evolution equations were obtained by choosing proper U in zero curvature frame Ut - Vx + [U, V] = 0 first. But in the present paper, a new Liouville integrable hierarchy possessing bi-Hamiltonian structure is obtained by choosing V with derivatives in x and spectral potentials. In this paper, two hierarchies of the Geng equations are presented, including positive non-isospectral hierarchy and negative non-isospectral hierarchy. Moreover, integrable couplings of the corresponding Geng hierarchies are also constructed by enlarging the associated matrix spectral problem. Three new integrable decompositions and conservation laws of the isospectral Geng equation are also obtained. We develop a group theory approach for constructing solutions of integrable hierarchies corresponding to the deformation of a collection of commuting directions inside the Lie algebra of upper-triangular ZxZ matrices. Depending on the choice of the set of commuting directions, the homogeneous space from which these solutions are constructed is the relative frame bundle of an infinite-dimensional flag variety or the infinite-dimensional flag variety itself. We give the evolution equations for the perturbations of the basic directions in the Lax form, and they reduce to a tower of differential and difference equations for the coefficients of these perturbed matrices. The Lax equations follow from the linearization of the hierarchy and require introducing a proper analogue of the Baker—Akhiezer function.  相似文献

By exhibiting the corresponding Lax-pair representations, we propose a wide class of integrable two-dimensional (2D) fermionic Toda lattice (TL) hierarchies, which includes the 2D N=(2|2) and N=(0|2) supersymmetric TL hierarchies as particular cases. We develop the generalized graded R-matrix formalism using the generalized graded bracket on the space of graded operators with involution generalizing the graded commutator in superalgebras, which allows describing these hierarchies in the framework of the Hamiltonian formalism and constructing their first two Hamiltonian structures. A three-step method due to Nijhoff and Bobenko & Suris to derive a Lax pair for scalar partial difference equations (PΔEs) is reviewed. The method assumes that the PΔEs are defined on a quadrilateral, and consistent around the cube. Next, the method is extended to systems of PΔEs where one has to carefully account for equations defined on edges of the quadrilateral. Lax pairs are presented for scalar integrable PΔEs classified by Adler, Bobenko, and Suris and systems of PΔEs including the integrable two-component potential Korteweg–de Vries lattice system, as well as nonlinear Schrödinger and Boussinesq-type lattice systems. Previously unknown Lax pairs are presented for PΔEs recently derived by Hietarinta (J. Phys. A, Math. Theor. 44:165204, 2011). The method is algorithmic and is being implemented in Mathematica.  相似文献

We study applications of a new class of infinite-dimensional Lie algebras, called Lax operator algebras, which goes back to the works by I. Krichever and S. Novikov on finite-zone integration related to holomorphic vector bundles and on Lie algebras on Riemann surfaces. Lax operator algebras are almost graded Lie algebras of current type. They were introduced by I. Krichever and the author as a development of the theory of Lax operators on Riemann surfaces due to I. Krichever, and further investigated in a joint paper by M. We construct well-known integrable equations with their Lax pairs from the corresponding linear equations using our nonlinearization scheme. Using negative powers in the spectral flow to deform the time Lax operator, we find a class of perturbations that unlike the usual perturbations, which spoil the system integrability, exhibit a twofold integrable hierarchy, including those for the KdV, modified KdV, sine-Gordon, nonlinear Schrödinger (NLS), and derivative NLS equations. We discover hidden possibilities of using the perturbed hierarchy of the NLS equations to amplify and control optical solitons propagating through a fiber in a doped nonlinear resonant medium.  相似文献

We introduce a Lie algebra whose some properties are discussed, including its proper ideals, derivations and so on. Then, we again give rise to its two explicit realizations by adopting subalgebra of the Lie algebra A2 and a column-vector Lie algebra, respectively. Under the frame of zero curvature equations, we may use the realizations to generate the same Lax integrable hierarchies of evolution equations and their Hamiltonian structure.  相似文献
