A careful analysis of the rotovibrational spectroscopic data of CH3CN is presented taking into account Fermi and Coriolis interactions. A large majority of the FIR lines obtained by optical pumping is assigned. New values are proposed for some molecular constants and the need of more accurate experimental investigation is pointed out.  相似文献

By observing the time dependence of the onset of the submm laser power in the millisecond time scale, just after the switching on of the pump laser, the vibrational bottleneck due to diffusion and vibrational relaxation has been clearly exhibited in CH3F, D2CO and HCOOH submm lasers. Experimental results are compared with those deduced from a simplified rate equation model. Both show a diffusion limited regime and a collisional regime.  相似文献

By means of intracavity Stark-pulse technique, growth of output power of an optically pumped cw CH3OH 119-m laser has been observed for various pressures of the active medium and for various input optical powers. Comparison of the results obtained in this work with those of a previous report on a HCOOH laser suggests that there is similarity relation in growth of output power. The similarity relation in a two-level laser is discussed.  相似文献

An extensive study of the propyne optically pumped laser is presented. 32 new far infrared and 8 new mid infrared outputs are reported, together with pump frequency offset data. Complete assignments of some far infrared transitions and partial assignments of the mid infrared outputs are given. Very strong interactions occur between the mid and far infrared laser transitions. These interactions are of vital importance in obtaining high output energies.  相似文献

An extensive theoretical and experimental analysis of the absorption and emission spectrum of a CH3OH FIR-laser excited by a conventional CO2 laser is presented. Particular interest is devoted to the Stark shifts of the pump and lasing lines and to the electric field dependence of the Fir-laser output of the various lines. The offsets with respect to the exciting radiation and the Stark shifts of the IR absorption (pump) lines are measured by means of the transferred Lamb dip technique. The theoretical behaviours of the Stark patterns are calculated for several choices of the quantum numbers and selection rules involved in the transitions. A large variety of experimental results are reported and compared to theory. Non-linear Stark shifts have been observed for the 37.5m FIR laser line and for the IR-pump transitions excited by the 9-P(38) and 10-R(38) CO2 laser Lines. Line assignments are proposed and new FIR laser lines are reported.  相似文献

Twenty new optically pumped far-infrared laser transitions have been observed in OCS, including four “maser” transitions of 3.6–8.2 mm wavelength. The operating conditions and assignments of these lines are reported. Rabi splitting of the FIR gain profile caused by the high intensity of the CO2 TEA laser pump is found to be very important for some lines.  相似文献

We report fifty seven CW FIR emissions observed in NH3, by resonant pumping with a CO2 laser. Exact coincidences between IR absorption lines of the gas and emission lines of the CO2 laser have been carried out by Stark tuning. IR frequency shifts, up to 30 GHz, have allowed the pumping of forty three NH3 transitions.These FIR emissions correspond to thirty one different wavelengths in the 50–400 m range; eighteen ones of them are new emitted wavelengths by pumping with the CO2 laser.  相似文献

Electric field effects have been investigated on the output power of six far-infrared (FIR) laser lines from H12COOH optically-pumped by a CO2 laser with its polarization arranged perpendicular to the Stark field. Optoacoustic signals observed on the pump lines were hardly affected by the applied electric field up to 0.6 kV/cm. By neglecting the electric field effects on the pump transitions, Zeeman laser theory has been applied to the FIR laser transitions. Numerical calculation predicts the observed FIR output power as a function of electric field. Experessions for oscillation frequency and intensity in homogeneous limit are given, which may be applicable to any FIR Stark laser so far as the pump transition is free from electric field effects.  相似文献

Summary Using a high pressure CO2-laser we have studied laser action in12CD3F stimulated by R-branch pumping. We used an arrangement with low-feedback mirrors as suitable for Raman laser action. However, no Raman laser action has been observed in12CD3F though similar experimental conditions were met as for12CH3F and13CH3F. The reason for the different behavior of the gases is not yet clear.Instead of Raman laser action we found 15 FIR resonant laser lines with 13 of them unknown up to now in the frequency range from 50 cm–1 to 68 cm–1. We reached FIR pulse energies up to 900 J, corresponding to a photon conversion efficiency of 12%. For our arrangement the optimum operation pressure varied from 40 torr at low J values (J=36) to 70 torr at high J values (J=49).  相似文献

A large number of emissions is obtained in the submillimeter and near millimeter range with the (H2CO)3 laser optically pumped by a CO2 laser. A study of the microwave absorption spectrum of the molecule carried out simultaneously with the submm analysis allows us to assign six of the laser lines in thev 5 excited state of the molecule and to determine the rotational constants and vibrational energy ofv 5.  相似文献

Privatization — a political as well as an economic policy — is generally defined as the transfer of a property or the responsibility for it from the public to the private sector. But privatization is not merely the transfer of the ownership and efficiency of the market should be considered. A successful privatization program induces better profitability and efficiency, higher output, more investment, etc. The main method of privatization is through introducing new stocks to the market to motivate competition. However, for a successful privatization the capability of a market for absorbing the new stock should also be considered. Without paying attention to this aspect, privatization through the introduction of new stocks may lead to reduced market efficiency. We study, based on the complexity theory and in particular the concept of Level Crossing, the effect of the stages of the development, activity, risk, and the waiting times for special events on the privatization.  相似文献

The wavelengths, frequencies, and relative polarizations of 15 FIR cw lasing lines obtained by optically pumping CHCl2F with a cw CO2 laser have been measured. The technique of optical pumping in polar molecules is the most efficient for Far-Infrared (FIR) laser generation, providing also a versatile and powerful tool for molecular spectroscopy in this spectral region. Methanol (CH3OH) and its isotopic varieties are the best media for optically pumped FIR laser, with over thousand lines observed, and the most widely used for investigations and applications. In this sense, it is important organize and make available catalogues of FIR laser lines as complete as possible. Since the last critical reviews of 1984 [1] on methanol and its isotopic varieties [2,3,4], over hundred papers have been published dealing with hundreds of new FIR laser lines. In 1992 a review of FIR laser lines from CH3OH was presented [5]. In this communication we extend this work to the other methanol isotopes, namely CH3OD, CD3OH, CD3OD,13CH3OH,13CD3OH,13CD3OD, CH3 18OH, CH2DOH, CHD2OH and CH2DOD.Work supported by FAPESP, CNPq, FAEP-Brasil, and CNR-Italia  相似文献

In this paper, the density matrix equation of a six-level system has been solved, in case of the FIR wave signals in the system were not small enough to be neglected. The output power density of the laser system has been calculated by means of the iteration method. The saturation effect of the system has been revenled by the numerical calculation. Several sets of curves of laser output power vs, the length of laser with defferent pumping detuning and the optimum operating pressure under certain condition have been obtained. These calculated values were in good agresment with the data provided in the literatures.  相似文献

The FIR laser gain of CW optically pumped HCOOH was measured and compared to theoretical calculations. Since the laser has a transversely pumped parallel-plate (or sandwich) waveguide, the pump field is the same for oscillating and amplifying operation. Therefore, true FIR-gains were measured. The theory takes into account several phenomena, that are frequently simplified when considering FIR lasers, such as the pump and the FIR beam's spatial distribution, power broadening of the pump absorption, as well as heat and molecular diffusion. As a result, good quantitative agreement between theory and measurement was achieved.  相似文献

The two or multi-mode optically pumped NH3 FIR laser had been studied theoretically. The NH3 molecular gas was assumed to be a three-level system and obeyed the time-dependent behavior of the density matrix equations. Considering the situation of playing the two or multi-mode optical pumping and the FIR laser field were same polarized. The gain coefficient and the output FIR power of the system could be calculated by using the iteration method.It had been predicted that the two or multiple longitudinal mode optically pumped NH3 FIR laser could have a greater output power or higher lasing efficiency than single mode pumped FIR laser under suitable selected operating parameters of laser.Supported by The Education Foundation of PRC.  相似文献

In this paper new type of ΔK = 2 and 0 transitions have been identified in the Fourier Transform spectrum of Methanol-D1 (CH2DOH). These transitions are normally forbidden but a “Coriolis” type interaction with nearby states is believed to be contributing sufficient transition strength through intensity borrowing effect. This is the first time such forbidden transitions are reported to be identified in the excited states, in this molecule. The present conjecture is supported by observation of a many strong allowed transitions to upper terminating levels which are seen to be highly perturbed. This conclusion has been reached by comparing calculated energy levels using known molecular parameters (Pearson et al., 2012; Coudert et al., 2014; El Hilali et al., 2011; Quade et al., 1998; Richard Quade, 1998, 1999; Mukhopadhyay, 1997) and the actually observed FIR lines. The upper levels are seen to be upshifted from expected position. A closer look at the calculated energy values seems to indicate a possible interaction between the above states and other proximate torsional–rotational states could occur. The possible candidates for the interacting level manifolds are narrowed down through the presence of the forbidden transition. We also take the opportunity to propose alternate rotational quantum numbers for some of the assignments recently reported in the literature (El Hilali et al., 2011). Some ambiguities are pointed out on the data and the reported analysis. There remain too many such irregularities and we propose to gather a large body assigned transitions in a future catalog. Assignments and relevant comments on optically pumped FIR laser radiation are also made.  相似文献

High-resolution infrared (IR) and far infrared (FIR) Fourier transform absorption spectra have been employed to investigate assignments of FIR laser lines reported from optically-pumped13CH3OH. The spectroscopic measurements are used in conjunction with the reported IR pump and FIR laser frequencies to form closed combination loops for several systems, serving to confirm the assignments and in some cases to improve the accuracy of the FIR laser frequencies. Frequency predictions from combination differences are also presented for a number of potential new FIR laser lines.  相似文献
