A novel, convenient method has been developed for the synthesis of 1,2-bis(2,5-dimethyl-3-thienyl)ethanedione, from which were prepared 5,6-bis(2,5-dimethyl-3-thienyl)-1,2,4-triazines (analogs of the photochromic 1,2-diarylethenes). The polar [4+2] cycloaddition reaction of 1,2-bis(2,5-dimethyl-3-thienyl)acetylene with thiobenzamide and certain aldehydes of the thiophene and furan series catalyzed by boron trifluoride etherate gives the corresponding 4-hetaryl-5,6-di(2,5-dimethyl-3-thienyl)-2-phenyl-4H-1,3-thiazines. New photochromic polymers were synthesized by quaternization of amino groups of N-methyldiethanolamine polyterephthalate with a mixture of bis(2,5-dimethyl-4-chloromethyl-3-thienyl)-1,3-dioxol-2-one and p-or m-xylylene dichloride. The spectral-kinetic studies of coatings based on the obtained polymers showed that these coatings have photochromic properties, the efficiency of which decreases with an increase in the sample thickness. 相似文献

Palladium-catalyzed cross-coupling between 2,5-dimethyl-3-thienylboronic and mucobromic acids under phase transfer catalysis (PTC) conditions gave the expected 3,4-bis(2,5-dimethyl-3-thienyl)-5-hydroxyfuran-2-one in 32% yield. The by-product was 2,2’,5,5’-tetramethyl-3,3’-bithiophene. The oxidation of the obtained hemiacylal with potassium permanganate under PTC conditions afforded 3,4-bis(2,5-dimethyl-3-thienyl)furan-2,5-dione in high yield.__________Published in Russian in Izvestiya Akademii Nauk. An Unexpected Ring Enlargement of 3-(Dimethylamino)-2,2-dimethyl-2H-azirine to 4,5-Dihydropyridin-2(3H)-one Derivatives The reaction of 3-(dimethylamino)-2,2-dimethyl-2H-azirine ( 1a ) and 4,4-disubstituted 2-(trifluoromethyl)-1,3-oxazol-5(4H)-ones 7 in MeCN at 70° afforded 5-(dimethylamino)-3,6-dihydropyrazin-2(1H)-ones 10 (Scheme 4), whereas no reaction could be observed between 1a and 2-allyl-4-phenyl-2-(trifluoromethyl)-1,3-oxazol-5(2H)-one ( 8a ) or 4,4-dibenzyl-2-phenyl-1,3-oxazol-5(4H)-one ( 9 ). The formation of 10 is rationalized by a mechanism via nucleophilic attack of 1a onto 7 . The failure of a reaction with 9 shows that only activated 1,3-oxazol-5(4H)-ones bearing electron-withdrawing substituents do react as electrophiles with 1a . The amino-azirine 1a and 2,4-disubstituted 1,3-oxazol-5(4H)-ones 2b – e in refluxing MeCN undergo a novel ring enlargement to 4,5-dihydropyridin-2(3H)-ones 11 (Scheme 5). Several side products were observed in these reactions. Two different reaction mechanisms for the formation of 11 are proposed: either 1a undergoes a nucleophilic addition onto the open-chain ketene tautomer of 2 (Scheme 6), or 2 reacts as CH-acidic compound (Scheme 7). 相似文献

Summary. N,N-Disubstituted 5-arylmethylidene-2-aminothiazol-4(5H)-ones reacted with diethyl malonate, ethyl benzoylacetate, acetylacetone, or cyclopentadiene in refluxing toluene and in
presence of powdered sodium to give the respective 5-arylmethylidene-2′-amino-2,5′-bithiazolylidene-4,4′-dione derivatives
in moderate yields. 5-Benzylidene-2-morpholin-4-yl-2-thiazol-4(5H)-one reacted with malononitrile in toluene and in presence of powdered sodium under mild conditions to afford the 1:1 adduct,
benzylmalononitrile, and 2-morpholin-4-yl-2-thiazol-4(5H)-one. However, similar treatment of 5-(4-methoxyphenylmethylidene)-2-morpholin-4-yl-2-thiazol-4(5H)-one with malononitrile yielded the 2,5′-bithiazolylidene-4,4′-dione derivative together with 4-methoxyphenylmethylidene
malononitrile. Treatment of 5-benzylidene- and 5-(4-methoxyphenylmethylidene)-2-morpholin-4-yl-2-thiazol-4(5H)-ones with 3-phenyl-4-oxo-2-thioxo-1,3-thiazolidine in refluxing toluene and in presence of powdered sodium produced 5-arylmethylidene-3-phenyl-4-oxo-2-thioxo-1,3-thiazolidines
in good yields. The structures of all products were deduced from microanalytical and spectroscopic data, mechanistic details
are discussed.

4-(Bromomethylene)-5,5-dimethyl-1,3-dioxolan-2-one was obtained on the basis of the readily obtainable 4-methylene-5,5-dimethyl-1,3-dioxolan-2-one. It forms 2-imidazo[1,2-a]pyridin-2-yl-2-propanol with 2-aminopyridine, 11a-hydroxy-1,1-dimethyl-3-oxo-1,5,11,11a-tetrahydro[1,3]oxazolo[3,4-a]pyrido[1,2-d]-10-pyrazinium bromide with 2-(aminomethyl)pyridine, and the corresponding derivative of 4-hydroxyoxazolidin-2-one with 2-(3,4-dimethoxyphenyl)ethylamine. The last product was converted by intramolecular amidoalkylation without isolation into 10b-(bromomethyl)-8,9-dimethoxy-1,1-dimethyl-1,5,6,10b-tetrahydro[1,3]oxazolo[3,4-a]isoquinolin-3-one. 相似文献

by α-ureidoalkylation of thiosemicarbazide or aminoguanidine were found. A novel conglomerate in the series of imidazolidin-2-one
derivatives was detected: 4,5-bis(guanidinoamino)-1,3-dimethylimid-azolidin-2-one dihydrochloride dihydrate.

three imidazolidine rings. The structure of 4,5-bis(2-oxoimidazolidin-1-yl)imidazolidin-2-one was confirmed by X-ray diffraction
data.

Novel photochromic single crystals composed of three different kinds of diarylethenes, 1,2-bis(3,5-dimethyl-2-thienyl)perfluorocyclopentene (1a), 1,2-bis(2,5-dimethyl-3-thienyl)perfluorocyclopentene (2a), and 1,2-bis(2-methyl-5-p-methoxyphenyl-3-thienyl)perfluorocyclopentene (3a), have been prepared. The three-component crystals turned yellow, orange, red, purple, blue, green, or black upon irradiation with light of appropriate wavelengths. The colors of the crystals were thermally stable in the dark and completely bleached by irradiation with visible light. Such multicolored photochromic crystals have potential for the application to optoelectronic devices, such as multifrequency three-dimensional optical memory media or full-color displays. 相似文献

The interaction of sulfonamides with 4,5-dihydroxyimidazolidin-2-ones was studied for the first time. The earlier unknown
4,4′-sulfonyldiiminobis(1,3-dialkylimidazolidin-2-ones) and 4(5)-aryl(alkyl)-sulfonyliminoimidazolidin-2-ones were synthesized.
A probable pathway of the reaction was proposed. 1,3-Diethyl-4,5-dihydroxyimidazolidin-2-one was isolated and described.
