The major reasons for the low photovoltaic efficiency of Cu2S/CdS cells, in which the CdS film is deposited by spraying, are due to small film thicknesses which do not exceed 4 m and the small average grain size which ranges from 0.1 to 0.5 m.A new experimental solution spraying procedure is described that prevents both restrictions by controlling the substrate temperature. The rôle of the evaluation map in anomaly calculations for field theory, sigma-models and strings is investigated. In this paper, anomalies in field theory (with and without a backgrounds connection), are obtained as pull-backs of suitable forms via evaluation maps. The cohomology of the group of gauge transformations is computed in terms of the cohomology of the base manifold and of the cohomology of the structure group. This allows us to clarify the different topological significance of gauge and gravitational anomalies. The relation between locality and universality is discussed and local cohomology is linked to the cohomology of classifying spaces. The problem of combining the locality requirement and the index theorem approach to anomalies is also examined. The paper contains an interpretation of the domain patterns found on iron whiskers. An explanation of the closure structure at the end of a whisker grown in the [111] direction is given on the basis of a quantitative analysis. Structures, which form on whiskers strained by axial pressure and bending, are also dealt with. The results are in good agreement with experiment.

Calculations have been performed on the integral shapes of the K lines, which are long-wave satellites of the K 1 lines, for Cl, Ti, and Fe, where allowance has been made for interference between states in the 2p–1 and 3p–2p configurations. The calculations show that these satellites represent short-wave branches of the K lines strengthened by the 3p-1s transition with simultaneous M electron ejection. The strong interference between the amplitudes of these processes in the final state means that it is in principle quite impossible to speak of the intensities of the K satellites without stating how they are isolated from the measured spectrum.Translated from Izvestiya Vysshikh Uchebnykh Zavedenii, Fizika, No. 9, pp. 34–39, September, 1984.  相似文献

The paper explains the theory of modelling electrostatic fields by a resistance network. The conditions, which the resistance network must satisfy, are derived and the question of modelling electrodes of different shapes is solved. The finished network and the results obtained on it when modelling a jet for a linear h-f accelerator of electrons are described. Particular attention is paid to the influence of a space charge, the modelling of which is an advantage of this method.

The main reason for the low photovoltaic efficiency of Cu2S/CdS cells, in which the CdS film is deposited by solution spraying, is the very small average dimensions of the crystalline grains. The difficulty in depositing films with transverse dimensions of crystalline grains larger than 1 m is due to the fast decrease of substrate temperature during the spraying deposition of the CdS film. We have since arranged an experimental set-up able to maintain the surface temperature of the substrate constant. In this way it is possible to control the parameters which affect the deposition and to obtain a high degree of reproducibility of morphological properties. Average grain sizes of more than 1 m are obtained. We consider the Ginsburg-Landau equation for a complex scalar field in one dimension and consider initial data which have two different stationary solutions as their limits in space asx±. If these solutions are not very different, then we show that the initial data will evolve to a stationary solution by a phase melting process which avoids phase slips, i.e., which does not go through zero amplitude.  相似文献

The structural and dynamic parameters of urea at 112°K and 295°K were determined by the least squares method. The characteristic temperature of the torsional optical vibrations of a molecule about a C-O bond was determined and is in good agreement with the value determined by Raman scattering. The fractional X-coordinate of the nitrogen atom corrected for torsional vibrations was determined and it was found that the magnitude of the projection of the C-N bond in the given temperature range changes only within the limits of observational errors. A new method, called temperature difference synthesis, is described and it is shown that it is suitable for rapid qualitative determination of the thermal anisotropy of the vibrations of atoms in a crystal lattice.

In the temperature range T = 5–295 K, the spectralluminescent properties and curves of thermostimulated luminescence (TSL) of molecules of triphenylamine (TPA), trirtolylamine (TTA), triranisolamine (TAA), and N,N'diphenylbis(3methylphenyl)(1,1'biphenyl)4,4'diamine (TPD) in polystyrene and 4Brpolystyrene matrices have been investigated. It has been found that photoirradiation at room temperature in the region of the lowest electron transition of molecules leads to a decrease in the intensities of the luminescence, photoluminescence, and TSL bands, as well as to the formation of new deep traps for charge carriers. At equal irradiation doses these changes in TPD are noticeably less pronounced than in TPA, TTA, and TAA. The higher photochemical stability of TPD molecules compared to TPA, TTA, and TAA is attributed to the difference in the mechanisms of nonradiative deactivation of the triplet states of molecules.  相似文献

The tensor of reflected and refracted light was first introduced into the principal axes and then the latter were transformed into thep ands direction of the electric field strength. The amplitude coefficient of thep-components of refracted light has different forms depending on which complex unit vector is unit with respect to the square or the absolute value. The energy coefficient has the same value in both cases.

Explicit solutions are found for a number of special cases of the potential problem of periodic charge distribution. The effect of uneven distribution of the charges of a Bloch wall on the magnetostatic energy is studied, the effective width of the Bloch wall is determined, an analytical expression is found for this distribution of poles and finally the effective height of the surface layer is also determined. An expression is derived for the orientation of the vectors of magnetization in the surface layer with respect to the easy directions of magnetization. The stability of the basic domain structure up to an inclination ofof the plane under observation to the direction of easy magnetization and the dimensions of the domains in periodic closure structures follow from the calculations.

A model for the distribution of cations in the spinel lattice of manganese ferrites MnFe2O4+ was elaborated on the basis of the experimental studies of the basic magnetic quantities, electrical conductivity and magnetic relaxation of the given ferrites, taking into consideration their crystallographic properties. The conclusions following from this model are in good agreement with the experimental results obtained by us and by other authors both for stoichiometric manganese ferrite and for a ferrite where 0.

We prove for a general class of Gibbsian Random Field on that the set of tempered Gibbs states is compact. This class contains the Euclidean random fields. Moreover if the interaction is attractive, there is a unique minimal and maximal Gibbs state and +×± are unique translation invariant ant and have the global Markov property. We also prove that uniqueness of the tempered Gibbs state is equivalent to the magnetizationsm ±=±(q x ) being equal which is true if the pressure is differentiable.  相似文献

We consider a selfinteracting boson field in two space-time dimensions, with interaction densities of the form:V((x)): where (x) is a scalar boson field, andV() is a real positive function of exponential type. We define the space cut-off interaction by and prove thatH r =H 0+V r , whereH 0 is the free energy, is essentially self adjoint.
