Iron fluoride (FeF3) is considered as a promising cathode material for Li-ion batteries (LIBs) due to its high theoretical capacity (712 mAh/g) with a 3e? transfer. Herein, we have designed a strategy of hierarchical and mesoporous FeF3/rGO hybrids for LIBs, where the hollow FeF3 nanospheres are the main contributor to the specific capacity and the 2D rGO nanosheets are the matrix elevating the electronic conductivity and buffering the volume expansion. The unique FeF3/rGO hybrid can be rationally synthesized by a non-aqueous in-situ precipitation method, offering the merits of large specific surface area with rich active sites, fast transport channels for lithium ions, effective alleviation of volume expansion during cycles, and accelerating the electrochemical reaction kinetics. The FeF3/rGO hybrid electrode possesses a high initial discharge capacity of 553.9 mAh/g at a rate of 0.5 C with 378 mAh/g after 100 cycles, acceptable rate capability with 168 mAh/g at 2 C, and feasible high-temperature operation (320 mAh/g at 70 °C). The superior electrochemical behaviors presented here demonstrates that the FeF3/rGO hybrid is a potential electrode for LIBs, which may open up a new vision to design high-efficiency energy-storage devices such as LIBs based on transition metal fluorides.  相似文献

An efficient and universal method to directly hybridize isocharged nanosheets of layered metal oxide and reduced graphene oxide (rGO) is developed on the basis of the surface modification and an electrostatically driven assembly process. On the basis of this synthetic method, the CoO2–rGO nanocomposite can be synthesized with exfoliated CoO2 and rGO nanosheets, and transformed into CoO–CoO2–rGO nanocomposites with excellent electrode performance for lithium‐ion batteries. Also, this surface‐modification assembly route is successfully applied for the synthesis of another mesoporous TiO2–rGO nanocomposite. This result provides clear evidence for the usefulness of the present method as a universal way of hybridizing isocharged anionic nanosheets of inorganic solids and graphene.  相似文献

Two-dimensional (2D) layered vanadium disulfide (VS_2) is a promising anode material for lithium ion batteries (LIBs) due to the high theoretical capacity. However,it remains a challenge to synthesize monodispersed ultrathin VS_2 nanosheets to realize the full potential.Herein,a novel solvothermal method has been developed to prepare the monodispersed bowl-shaped NH_3-inserted VS_2 nanosheets (VS_2).The formation of such a unique structure is caused by the blocked growth of (001) or (002) crystal planes in combination with a ripening process driven by the thermodynamics. The annealing treatment in Ar/H_2creates porous monodispersed VS_2(H-VS_2),which is subsequently integrated with graphene oxide to form porous monodispersed H-VS_2/rGO composite coupled with a reduction process. As an anode material for LIBs,H-VS_2/rGO delivers superior rate performance and longer cycle stability:a high average capacity of 868/525 mAh g~(-1) at a current density of 1/10 A g~(-1);a reversible capacity of 1177/889 mAh g~(-1) after 150/500 cycles at 0.2/1 A g~(-1).Such excellent electrochemical performance may be attributed to the increased active sites available for lithium storage, the alleviated volume variations and the shortened Li-ion diffusion induced from the porous structure with large specific surface area,as well as the protective effect from graphene nanosheets.  相似文献

Herein, we present an electrochemically assisted method for the reduction of graphene oxide (GO) and the assembly of polyoxometalate clusters on the reduced GO (rGO) nanosheets for the preparation of nanocomposites. In this method, the Keggin‐type H4SiW12O40 (SiW12) is used as an electrocatalyst. During the reduction process, SiW12 transfers the electrons from the electrode to GO, leading to a deep reduction of GO in which the content of oxygen‐containing groups is decreased to around 5 %. Meanwhile, the strong adsorption effect between the SiW12 clusters and rGO nanosheets induces the spontaneous assembly of SiW12 on rGO in a uniformly dispersed state, forming a porous, powder‐type nanocomposite. More importantly, the nanocomposite shows an enhanced capacity of 275 mAh g?1 as a cathode active material for lithium storage, which is 1.7 times that of the pure SiW12. This enhancement is attributed to the synergistic effect of the conductive rGO support and the well‐dispersed state of the SiW12 clusters, which facilitate the electron transfer and lithium‐ion diffusion, respectively. Considering the facile, mild, and environmentally benign features of this method, it is reasonable as a general route for the incorporation of more types of functional polyoxometalates onto graphene matrices; this may allow the creation of nanocomposites for versatile applications, for example, in the fields of catalysis, electronics, and energy storage.  相似文献

Graphene‐based hybrid nanostructures possess many advantages in the field of electrochemical energy applications. In this work, a facile and efficient hydrothermal approach has been developed for the preparation of NiFe alloy nanoparticles/rGO hybrid nanostructures, in which the nanoparticles are well combined with rGO nanosheets and the size of the nanoparticles is about 100 nm. Moreover, the electrochemical oxygen evolution reaction (OER) tests confirmed that the obtained NiFe/rGO hybrid nanostructures possess notably higher activity than both the rGO‐free NiFe nanoparticles and pure Ni/rGO hybrids, and the optimal NiFe ratio is 2:1. The OER overpotential at 20 mA cm?1?2 with Ni2Fe/rGO is as low as 0.285 V, which is 96 mV lower than that of pure Ni/rGO hybrids. Meanwhile, the Ni2Fe/rGO catalyst has excellent stability. Therefore, this work contributes a facile and efficient method to prepare a NiFe alloy nanoparticles/rGO hybrid structure for potential applications in the field of electrochemical energy devices, such as electrochemical water splitting cells, rechargeable metal/air batteries, etc.  相似文献

The unique two-dimensional structure and surface chemistry of reduced graphene oxide (rGO) along with its high electrical conductivity can be exploited to modify the electrochemical properties of ZnO nanoparticles (NPs). ZnO–rGO nanohybrids can be engineered in a simple new two-step synthesis, which is both fast and energy-efficient. The resulting hybrid materials show excellent electrocatalytic and photocatalytic activity. The structure and composition of the as-prepared bare ZnO nanorods (NRs) and the ZnO–rGO hybrids have been extensively characterised and the optical properties subsequently studied by UV/Vis spectroscopy and photoluminescence (PL) spectroscopy (including decay lifetime measurements). The photocatalytic degradation of Rhodamine B (RhB) dye is enhanced using the ZnO–rGO hybrids as compared to bare ZnO NRs. Furthermore, potentiometry comparing ZnO and ZnO–rGO electrodes reveals a featureless capacitive background for an Ar-saturated solution whereas for an O2-saturated solution a well-defined redox peak was observed using both electrodes. The change in reduction potential and significant increase in current density demonstrates that the hybrid core–shell NRs possess remarkable electrocatalytic activity for the oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) as compared to NRs of ZnO alone.  相似文献

Electrocatalytic CO_2 reduction(CO_2 ER) into formate is a desirable route to achieve efficient transformation of CO_2 to value-added chemicals, however,it still suffers from limited catalytic activity and poor selectivity.Herein,we develop a hybrid electrocatalyst composed of bismuth and bismuth oxide nanoparticles(NPs) supported on nitrogen-doped reduced graphene oxide(Bi/Bi_2 O_3/NrGO) nanosheets prepared by a combined hydrothermal with calcination treatment. Thanks to the combination of undercoordinated sites and strong synergistic effect between Bi and Bi_2 O_3,Bi/Bi_2 O_3/NrGO-700 hybrid displays a promoted CO2 ER catalytic performance and selectivity for formate production,as featured by a small onset potential of-0.5 V,a high current density of-18 mA/cm~2,the maximum Faradaic efficiency of85% at-0.9 V,and a low Tafel slope of 166 mV/dec.Experimental results reveal that the higher CO_2 ER performance of Bi/Bi_2 O_3/NrGO-700 than that of Bi NPs supported on NrGO(Bi/NrGO) can be due to the partial reduction of Bi_2 O_3 NPs into Bi,which significantly increases undercoordinated active sites on Bi NPs surface, thus boosting its CO_2 ER performance.Furthermore,a two-electrode device with Ir/C anode and Bi/Bi_2 O_3/NrGO-700 cathode could be integrated with two alkaline batteries or a planar solar cell to achieve highly active water splitting and CO_2 ER.  相似文献

A novel ternary nanocomposite, Pd nanoparticles(NPs)/polyoxometalates(POMs)/reduced graphene oxide(rGO), was prepared by a green, mild, electrochemical-reductionassisted assembly. It is worth noting that the Keggin-type POM acts as an electrocatalyst as well as a bridging molecule. During the reduction process, POMs transfer the electrons from the electrode to GO, leading to a deep reduction of GO and the content of oxygen-containing groups is decreased to around 6.1%. Meanwhile, the strong adsorption effect between the POM clusters and rGO nanosheets induces the spontaneous assembly of POM on r GO in a uniformly dispersed state, forming a nanocomposite. The ternary Pd NPs/POMs/rGO nanocomposite exhibits higher electrocatalytic activities, better electrochemical stability, and higher resistance to CO poisoning than the Pd/C catalyst towards the formic acid oxidation(FAOR). Especially, the Pd/PW_(12)/rGO exhibits the best electrocatalytic performance among three Pd/POMs/rGO composites(POMs = PW_(12), SiW_(12), PMo_(12)).  相似文献

Core‐shell carbon‐coated LiFePO4 nanoparticles were hybridized with reduced graphene (rGO) for high‐power lithium‐ion battery cathodes. Spontaneous aggregation of hydrophobic graphene in aqueous solutions during the formation of composite materials was precluded by employing hydrophilic graphene oxide (GO) as starting templates. The fabrication of true nanoscale carbon‐coated LiFePO4‐rGO (LFP/C‐rGO) hybrids were ascribed to three factors: 1) In‐situ polymerization of polypyrrole for constrained nanoparticle synthesis of LiFePO4, 2) enhanced dispersion of conducting 2D networks endowed by colloidal stability of GO, and 3) intimate contact between active materials and rGO. The importance of conducting template dispersion was demonstrated by contrasting LFP/C‐rGO hybrids with LFP/C‐rGO composites in which agglomerated rGO solution was used as the starting templates. The fabricated hybrid cathodes showed superior rate capability and cyclability with rates from 0.1 to 60 C. This study demonstrated the synergistic combination of nanosizing with efficient conducting templates to afford facile Li+ ion and electron transport for high power applications.  相似文献

Confined transformation of assembled two‐dimensional MXene (titanium carbide) and reduced graphene oxide (rGO) nanosheets was employed to prepare the free‐standing films of the integrated ultrathin sodium titanate (NTO)/potassium titanate (KTO) nanosheets sandwiched between graphene layers. The ultrathin Ti‐based nanosheets reduce the diffusion distance while rGO layers enhance conductivity. Incorporation of graphene into the titanate films produced efficient binder‐free anodes for ion storage. The resulting flexible NTO/rGO and KTO/rGO electrodes exhibited excellent rate performances and long cycling stability characterized by reversible capacities of 72 mA h g?1 at 5 A g?1 after 10000 cycles and 75 mA h g?1 after 700 cycles at 2 A g?1 for sodium and potassium ion batteries, respectively. These results demonstrate the superiority of the unique sandwich‐type electrodes.  相似文献

Over the past decade, TiO2/graphene composites as electrodes for lithium ion batteries have attracted a great deal of attention for reasons of safety and environmental friendliness. However, most of the TiO2/graphene electrodes have large graphene content (9–40 %), which is bound to increase the cost of the battery. Logically, reducing the amount of graphene is a necessary part to achieve a green battery. The synthesis of TiO2 nanosheets under solvothermal conditions without additives is now demonstrated. Through mechanical mixing TiO2 nanosheets with different amount of reduced graphene (rGO), a series of TiO2@graphene composites was prepared with low graphene content (rGO content 1, 2, 3, and 5 wt %). When these composites were evaluated as anodes for lithium ion batteries, it was found that TiO2+3 wt % rGO manifested excellent cycling stability and a high specific capacity (243.7 mAh g?1 at 1 C; 1 C=167.5 mA g?1), and demonstrated superior high‐rate discharge/charge capability at 20 C.  相似文献

Nanostructured hybrid metal sulfides have attracted intensive attention due to their fascinating properties that are unattainable by the single‐phased counterpart. Herein, we report an efficient approach to construct cobalt sulfide/molybdenum disulfide (Co9S8/MoS2) wrapped with reduced graphene oxide (rGO). The unique structures constructed by ultrathin nanosheets and synergetic effects benefitting from bimetallic sulfides provide improved lithium ions reaction kinetics, and they retain good structural integrity. Interestingly, the conductive rGO can facilitate electron transfer, increase the electronic conductivity and accommodate the strain during cycling. When evaluated as anode materials for lithium‐ion batteries (LIBs), the resultant reduced graphene oxide‐coated cobalt sulfide/molybdenum disulfide (Co9S8/MoS2@rGO) nanotubes deliver high specific capacities of 1140, 948, 897, 852, 820, 798 and 784 mAh g?1 at the various discharging current densities of 0.2, 0.5, 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 A g?1, respectively. In addition, they can maintain an excellent cycle stability with a discharge capacity of 807 mAh g?1 at 0.2 A g?1 after 70 cycles, 787 mAh g?1 at 1 A g?1 after 180 cycles and 541 mAh g?1 at 2 A g?1 after 200 cycles. The proposed method may offer fundamental understanding for the rational design of other hybrid functional composites with high Li‐storage properties.  相似文献

Mesoporous Co3O4 nanosheets (Co3O4‐NS) and nitrogen‐doped reduced graphene oxide (N‐rGO) are synthesized by a facile hydrothermal approach, and the N‐rGO/Co3O4‐NS composite is formulated through an infiltration procedure. Eventually, the obtained composites are subjected to various characterization techniques, such as XRD, Raman spectroscopy, surface area analysis, X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), and TEM. The lithium‐storage properties of N‐rGO/Co3O4‐NS composites are evaluated in a half‐cell assembly to ascertain their suitability as a negative electrode for lithium‐ion battery applications. The 2D/2D nanostructured mesoporous N‐rGO/Co3O4‐NS composite delivered a reversible capacity of about 1305 and 1501 mAh g?1 at a current density of 80 mA g?1 for the 1st and 50th cycles, respectively. Furthermore, excellent cyclability, rate capability, and capacity retention characteristics are noted for the N‐rGO/Co3O4‐NS composite. This improved performance is mainly related to the existence of mesoporosity and a sheet‐like 2D hierarchical morphology, which translates into extra space for lithium storage and a reduced electron pathway. Also, the presence of N‐rGO and carbon shells in Co3O4‐NS should not be excluded from such exceptional performance, which serves as a reliable conductive channel for electrons and act as synergistically to accommodate volume expansion upon redox reactions. Ex‐situ TEM, impedance spectroscopy, and XPS, are also conducted to corroborate the significance of the 2D morphology towards sustained lithium storage.  相似文献

In this study, a new glucose biosensor was fabricated by immobilizing glucose oxidase (GOx) on platinum nanoparticles (Pt NPs) decorated reduced graphene oxide (rGO)/Zn‐MOF‐74 hybrid nanomaterial. Herein, the biosensor fused the advantages of rGO with those of porous Zn‐MOF and conductive Pt NPs. This has not only enlarged the surface area and porosity for the efficient GOx immobilization and faster mass transport, but also provided favorable electrochemical features such as high current density, remarkable electron mobility through metal nanoparticles, and improved electron transfer between the components. The GOx‐rGO/Pt NPs@Zn‐MOF‐74 coated electrode displayed a linear measurement range for glucose from 0.006 to 6 mM, with a detection limit of 1.8 μM (S/N: 3) and sensitivity of 64.51 μA mM?1 cm?2. The amperometric response of the enzyme biosensor demonstrated the typical behavior of Michaelis‐Menten kinetics. The obtained satisfying sensitivity and measurement range enabled fast and accurate glucose measurement in cherry juice using the fabricated biosensor. The water‐stable Zn‐MOF‐74 demonstrated higher enzyme loading capacity and can be potent supporting material for biosensor construction.  相似文献

We report a novel strategy for the hierarchical assembly of Ag nanoparticles (NPs) on MoS2 nanosheets through coordination by using a multifunctional organic ligand. The presence of Ag NPs on the surface of MoS2 nanosheets inhibits their agglomeration, thereby providing increased interlayer spacing for easy Li+ ion intercalation. Such a unique hybrid architecture also ensures sufficient percolation pathways on the whole surface of the MoS2 nanosheets. Moreover, the high rigidity and low deformability of the Ag NPs effectively preserve the hybrid architecture during the charge–discharge process, which translates into a high cycle stability. A prominent synergistic effect between MoS2 and Ag is witnessed. When the Ag content is only 5 wt %, the Ag–MoS2 hybrid delivers a reversible capacity as high as 920 mA h g?1 at a current density of 100 mA g?1, making the Ag–MoS2 hybrid an attractive candidate for next‐generation LIBs.  相似文献

Molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) has received considerable interest for electrochemical energy storage and conversion. In this work, we have designed and synthesized a unique hybrid hollow structure by growing ultrathin MoS2 nanosheets on N‐doped carbon shells (denoted as C@MoS2 nanoboxes). The N‐doped carbon shells can greatly improve the conductivity of the hybrid structure and effectively prevent the aggregation of MoS2 nanosheets. The ultrathin MoS2 nanosheets could provide more active sites for electrochemical reactions. When evaluated as an anode material for lithium‐ion batteries, these C@MoS2 nanoboxes show high specific capacity of around 1000 mAh g?1, excellent cycling stability up to 200 cycles, and superior rate performance. Moreover, they also show enhanced electrocatalytic activity for the electrochemical hydrogen evolution.  相似文献

Mimicking the extracellular matrix to have a similar nanofibrous structure regarding electrical conductivity and mechanical properties would be highly beneficial for cardiac tissue engineering. The molybdenum disulfide, MoS2, and reduced graphene oxide, rGO, nanosheets are two‐dimensional nanomaterials which can be considered as great candidates for enhancing the electrical and mechanical properties of biological scaffolds for cardiac tissue engineering applications. In this study, MoS2 and rGO nanosheets were synthesized and incorporated into silk fibroin nanofibers, SF, via electrospinning method. Then, the human iPSCs transfected with TBX‐18 gene, TBX18‐hiPSCs, were seeded on these scaffolds for in vitro studies. The MoS2 and rGO nanosheets were studied by Raman spectroscopy. After incorporation of the nanosheets into SF nanofibers, the associated characterizations were carried out including scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, water contact angle, and mechanical test. Furthermore, SF, SF/MoS2, and SF/rGO scaffolds were used for in vitro studies. Herein, the scaffolds exhibited acceptable biocompatibility and considerable attachment to TBX18‐hiPSCs confirmed by 3‐(4, 5‐dimethylthiazol‐2‐yl)‐2, 5‐diphenyl tetrazolium bromide, MTT, assay, and scanning electron microscopy. Also, the real‐time PCR and immunostaining studies confirmed the maturity and upregulation of cardiac functional genes, including GATA‐4, c‐TnT, and α‐MHC in the SF/MoS2 and SF/rGO scaffolds compared with the bare SF one. Therefore, the reinforcement of these SF‐based scaffolds with MoS2 and rGO endues them as a suitable candidate for cardiac tissue engineering.  相似文献
