7‐Alkanoyloxy‐3,7‐dimefhyl‐7,8‐dihydro‐6H‐isochromene‐6,8‐diones 12‐15 were synthesized in 69‐16% yields from the reaction of 2,4‐dihydroxy‐3‐methyl‐6‐(2‐oxopropyl)benzaldehyde 11 with p‐toluenesulfonic acid in various carboxylic acids such as acetic acid, propionic acid, butyric acid and heptanoic acid followed by oxidation with lead tetraacetate. On the other hand, (±)‐daldinin A 5 (oleate) was not obtained using oleic acid as a medium. In the cases of heptanoic acid and oleic acid, esters 16 and 17 were produced in 23 and 9% yields, respectively. 6,8‐Dihydroxy‐3,7‐dimethyl‐2‐benzopyrylium p‐toluenesulfonate 31 is considered as the intermediate for the production of 12‐15. Overall yields of isochromenes 12‐15 were 26‐6% starting from 2‐methylresorcinol for seven steps.  相似文献

A chemical study on tissue cultures from leaves and flowers of E. camaldulensis Dehnh . afforded the new natural product (2α,3β)‐2,3,23‐trihydroxy‐13,28‐epoxyurs‐11‐en‐28‐one (dryobalanolide) together with the known pentacyclic triterpenoids: betulinic acid, oleanolic acid, ursolic acid, (2α,3β)‐2,3,23‐trihydroxyolean‐12‐en‐28‐oic acid (arjunolic acid), (2α,3β)‐2,3,23‐trihydroxyurs‐12‐en‐28‐oic acid (asiatic acid), (2α)‐2‐hydroxyursolic acid, (2α)‐2‐hydroxyoleanolic acid (maslinic acid), as well as β‐sitosterol. The extracts and the isolated compounds were evaluated against eleven human pathogenic microorganisms, exhibiting a very interesting antibacterial spectrum of activities.  相似文献

Abstract

Melamine, cyanuric acid, two compounds connected to tainted pet food, and related analogs have been analyzed using matrix‐assisted laser desorption ionization/time‐of‐flight mass spectrometry. (M+H)+ ions were observed for ammelide and ammeline under positive ion conditions with sinapinic acid as the matrix. With alpha‐cyano‐4‐hydroxy‐cinnamic acid as the matrix, a matrix‐melamine complex was observed; however, no complex was observed with sinapinic acid as the matrix. A rapid and efficient method for the preparation of 3‐(4,6‐dimethyl‐oxazolo[4,5‐c]quinolin‐2‐yl)‐chromen‐2‐ones by the reaction between 3‐amino‐2,8‐dimethyl‐quinolin‐4‐ol and 2‐oxo‐2H‐chromen‐3‐carboxylic acid using sulfamic acid as a acid catalyst and dimethyl formamide as a solvent using the conventional method and microwave irradiation is reported.  相似文献

To elucidate the nitrogen dioxide radical‐scavenging‐activity difference of three hydroxycinnamic acid derivatives (HCAs), i.e., caffeic acid (=3‐(3,4‐dihydroxyphenyl)prop‐2‐enoic acid; 1 ), ferulic acid (=3‐(4‐hydroxy‐3‐methoxyphenyl)prop‐2‐enoic acid; 2 ), and sinapic acid (=3‐(4‐hydroxy‐3,5‐dimethoxyphenyl)prop‐2‐enoic acid; 3 ), a combined density‐functional‐theory (DFT) method, labeled as B3LYP/6‐31G(d)//AM1, was employed to calculate adiabatic ionization potentials (IPs) for parent molecules and anions derived by proton dissociation. It was found that not the IPs of the parent HCAs but those of the anions account well for the experimentally observed higher activity of caffeic acid as compared to those of the other two HCAs, suggesting that the antioxidant anion should be taken into consideration in the selection or rational design of novel antioxidants; this, however, was neglected in previous studies.  相似文献

General acid‐catalyzed reaction can be enhanced by the addition of base. Self‐catalyzed esterification of benzoic acid and octan‐1‐ol was enhanced by the addition of certain base such as imidazole. The rate of the esterification was accelerated as the concentration of imidazole increased. Trans‐esterification of 4‐nitrophenyl acetate was promoted in chloroform by the mixture of benzoic acid and imidazole, but not by benzoic acid or imidazole alone.  相似文献

From the chloroform extract of Austroplenckia populnea, epikatonic acid, friedelin, populnonic acid, abruslactone A, salaspermic acid and 22β‐epi‐maytenfolic acid were isolated. The structure and stereochemistry of epikatonic acid were established by two‐dimensional NMR spectroscopic techniques (HMQC, HMBC and NOESY) and later confirmed by single crystal X‐ray diffraction as 3β‐hydroxy‐olean‐12‐en‐29‐oic acid, which unambiguously established the configuration of the hydroxyl group at C‐3 as 3β‐OH and the carboxyl group at C‐20 as 20α‐COOH. The crystal structure shows two independent molecules in the asymmetric unit. The crystal packing is stabilized by four O–H·O intermolecular hydrogen bonds, which give rise to infinite double chains along the c axis. Copyright © 2002 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

The Ullmann condensation between 2‐chlorobenzoic acid and 2‐amino‐6‐methyl pyridine in DMF as solvent yielded 2‐[(6‐methyl‐2‐pyridinyl)amino] benzoic acid. The cyclization of this acid gave two isomers, the 9‐methyl‐11H‐pyrido[2,1‐b]quinazolin‐11‐one and, in a minor quantity, 2‐methylbenzo[b][1,8]naphtyridin‐5(10H)‐one. Using ultrasound irradiation the pyridoquinazolin‐11‐one was obtained as the sole product.  相似文献

This work reports on a new class of dopants, benzoic acid and substituted benzoic acids such as 2‐hydroxybenzoic acid, 2‐chlorobenzoic acid, 4‐nitrobenzoic acid, 2‐methoxybenzoic acid, 3‐methylbenzoic acid, 4‐methylbenzoic acid, 3‐aminobenzoic acid and 4‐aminobenzoic acid, for polyaniline. Benzoic acids can be used to dope polyaniline by mixing benzoic acid (or a substituted benzoic acid) with polyaniline in the common solvent 1‐methyl‐2‐pyrrolidone. Properties of benzoic acid doped polyaniline salts are studied using Fourier transform infra‐red, X‐ray diffraction spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, thermogravimetric analysis and conductivity measurements. The conductivity of polyaniline‐benzoic acid salt was found to be high (10−2 S/cm) when compared to polyaniline‐substituted benzoic acid salts (10−3–10−5 S/cm). An efficient synthesis of (±)‐2‐aryl‐2,3‐dihydro‐4(1H)‐quinolinones has been developed from chalcones prepared from 2′‐nitroacetophenone and a series of substituted benzaldehydes. The cyclization sequence is initiated by reduction of the nitro group under dissolving metal conditions using iron powder in concentrated hydrochloric acid. Milder conditions, using acetic acid or acetic acid–phosphoric acid as the reaction medium, were less satisfactory. Two pentasaccharide sulfonic acids that were related to the antithrombin‐binding domain of heparin were prepared, in which two or three primary sulfate esters were replaced by sodium‐sulfonatomethyl moieties. The sulfonic‐acid groups were formed on a monosaccharide level and the obtained carbohydrate sulfonic‐acid esters were found to be excellent donors and acceptors in the glycosylation reactions. Throughout the synthesis, the hydroxy groups to be methylated were masked in the form of acetates and the hydroxy groups to be sulfated were masked with benzyl groups. The disulfonic‐acid analogue was prepared in a [2+3] block synthesis by using a trisaccharide disulfonic acid as an acceptor and a glucuronide disaccharide as a donor. For the synthesis of the pentasaccharide trisulfonic acid, a more‐efficient approach, which involved elongation of the trisaccharide acceptor with a non‐oxidized precursor of the glucuronic acid followed by post‐glycosidation oxidation at the tetrasaccharide level and a subsequent [1+4] coupling reaction, was elaborated. In vitro evaluation of the anticoagulant activity of these new sulfonic‐acid derivatives revealed that the disulfonate analogue inhibited the blood‐coagulation‐proteinase factor Xa with outstanding efficacy; however, the introduction of the third sulfonic‐acid moiety resulted in a notable decrease in the anti‐Xa activity. The difference in the biological activity of the disulfonic‐ and trisulfonic‐acid counterparts could be explained by the different conformation of their L ‐iduronic‐acid residues.  相似文献

The isolation and identification of twenty‐one components (including four new triterpenoid saponins and one new triterpenoid acid) from the root of Rhaponticum uniflorum (L.) DC. (Compositae) are described. Their structures were determined on the basis of spectral analysis and chemical trans formation. The new compounds were identified as 3‐O‐α‐L‐arabinopyranosyl‐urs‐12,18(19)‐dien‐28‐oic acid β‐D‐glucopyranosyl ester, 3β‐ hydroxyurs‐12,18(19)‐dien‐28‐oic acid β‐D‐glucopyranosyl ester, 3β‐hydroxyurs‐12,19(29)‐dien‐28‐oic acid β‐D‐glucopyranosylester, 3‐O‐α‐L‐arabinopyranosyl‐urs‐9(11),12‐dien‐28‐oic acid β‐D‐glucopyranosyl ester and 2 α,3 α, 19α,25‐tetrahydroxyurs‐12‐en‐23,28‐dioic acid.  相似文献

A new and rare type of iridoid glycoside, agnusoside ( 1 ), a new caffeoylquinic acid derivative, castusic acid ( 2 ), and a new sugar ester, 1,2‐di‐(4‐hydroxybenzoyl)‐β‐glucopyranose ( 3 ), along with ten known compounds belonging to iridoid glycosides (agnuside, trans‐eurostoside), caffeoylquinic acid derivatives (chlorogenic acid and isochlorogenic acid A), flavonoids (isoorientin, isovitexin, kaempferol 3‐O‐sophoroside, luteolin 6‐C‐(2′′‐Otrans‐caffeoyl)glucopyranoside, and simple phenolic acids (4‐hydroxybenzoic acid, 3,4‐dihydroxybenzoic acid), chemical classes were isolated from the flowers of Vitex agnus‐castus. The structures of the isolates were established by extensive 1D‐ and 2D‐NMR spectroscopic analysis as well as HR‐ESI‐MS. Agnusoside ( 1 ) represents an unusual type of iridoid glycoside with its 6‐keto C(4) nonsubstituted aglycone.  相似文献

A rapid and sensitive ultra‐high performance liquid chromatography with tandem mass spectrometry approach was established for the simultaneous determination of 4‐caffeoylquinic acid, loganic acid, chlorogenic acid, loganin, 3,5‐dicaffeoylquinic acid, dipsacoside B, asperosaponin VI, and sweroside in raw and wine‐processed Dipsacus asper . Chloramphenicol and glycyrrhetinic acid were employed as internal standards. The proposed approach was fully validated in terms of linearity, sensitivity, precision, repeatability as well as recovery. Intra‐ and interassay variability for all analytes were 2.8–4.9 and 1.7–4.8%, respectively. The standard addition method determined recovery rates for each analytes (96.8–104.6%). In addition, the developed approach was applied to 20 batches of raw and wine‐processed samples of Dipsacus asper . Principle component analysis and partial least squares‐discriminate analysis revealed a clear separation between the raw group and wine‐processed group. After wine‐processing, the contents of loganic acid, chlorogenic acid, dipsacoside B, and asperosaponin VI were upregulated, while the contents of 3,5‐dicaffeoylquinic acid, 4‐caffeoylquinic acid, loganin, and sweroside were downregulated. Our results demonstrated that ultra‐high performance liquid chromatography with tandem mass spectrometry quantification combined with chemometrics is a viable method for quality evaluation of the raw Dipsacus asper and its wine‐processed products.  相似文献

Poly(3,5‐dichloroaniline) was prepared by chemical oxidation in the presence of various sulfonic acids as doping agent, using potassium permanganate as oxidant. 1‐Naphtalene sulfonic acid, 2‐naphatalene sulphonic acid, 1,5‐naphtalene disulfonic acid, and p‐toluenesulfonic acid were the acids of choice. Infrared and UV‐Vis spectroscopy, utilized to characterize the polymers, revealed that the compounds exist in the emeraldine (conductive) oxidation state. The level of doping, conductivity, and morphology were determined as well. The presence of a sulfonic acid produces a morphological change, from granular to microtubule structures, which is responsible for the strong increase in the conductivity of the polymer.  相似文献

3‐Phenyllactic acid is an antimicrobial compound with broad‐spectrum activity against various bacteria and fungus. The observed difference in pharmacological activity between optical isomeric 3‐phenyllactic acid necessitates a method for enantioseparation. Chiral ligand exchange countercurrent chromatography was investigated for the enantioseparation of 3‐phenyllactic acid with a synthesized chiral ligand. A two‐phase solvent system was composed of n‐butanol/hexane/water (0.4:0.6:1, v/v/v) to which Nn‐dodecyl‐l ‐hydroxyproline was added to the organic phase as chiral ligand and cupric acetate was added in the aqueous phase as a transitional metal ion. The influence factors were optimized by enantioselective liquid–liquid extraction. Baseline enantioseparation of racemic 3‐phenyllactic acid by analytical high‐speed countercurrent chromatography was achieved. The optical purities of enantiomeric 3‐phenyllactic acid reached 99.0%, as determined by chiral high‐performance liquid chromatography.  相似文献

The reaction of arylboronic acids with L ‐O‐benzoyl‐tartaric acid and D ,L ‐malic acid has been studied. The obtained (acyloxy)boranes are moderately stable in solution and decompose to give boroxines. 5‐Carboxymethyl‐2‐(4‐methylthiophenyl)‐1,3,2‐dioxaborolan‐4‐one was obtained in the reaction of 4‐methylthiophenylboronic acid with D ,L ‐malic acid and characterized by X‐ray structural analysis. The use of L ‐(−)‐malic acid afforded the optically pure product which can be used as the powerful chiral reagent in the enantioselective reduction of ketones. An S‐mandelic acid imprinted chitosan resin was synthesized by cross‐linking chitosan with glutaraldehyde in 2% acetic acid solution. S‐Mandelic acid imprinted chitosan resin was used to enantioselectively separate racemic mandelic acid in aqueous medium. When keeping the pH of sample solution (100 mM Tris‐H3PO4) at 3.5 and adsorption time at 40 min, the enantiomer excess of mandelic acid in supernatant was 78.8%. The adsorption capacities of S‐mandelic acid imprinted chitosan resin for S‐ and R‐mandelic acid were determined to be 29.5 and 2.03 mg/g, respectively. While the adsorption capacities of non‐imprinted cross‐linked chitosan for S‐ and R‐mandelic acid were 2.10 and 2.08 mg/g, respectively. The result suggests that the imprinted caves in S‐mandelic acid imprinted chitosan resin are highly matched with S‐mandelic acid molecule in space structure and spatial arrangement of action sites. Interestingly, the enantiomer excess value of mandelic acid in supernatant after adsorption of racemic mandelic acid by R‐mandelic acid imprinted cross‐linked chitosan was 25.4%. The higher enantiomer excess value by S‐mandelic acid imprinted chitosan resin suggests that the chiral carbons in chitosan and the imprinted caves in S‐mandelic acid imprinted chitosan resin combine to play roles for the enantioselectivity of S‐mandelic acid imprinted chitosan resin toward S‐mandelic acid. Furthermore, the excellent enantioselectivity of S‐mandelic acid imprinted chitosan resin toward S‐mandelic acid demonstrates that using chiral chitosan as functional monomer to prepare molecularly imprinted polymers has great potential in enantioseparation of chiral pharmaceuticals.  相似文献

The vicinal dianion 2 derived from triethyl ethanetricarboxylate reacted regioselectively with aldehydes and ketones at C(β) to provide paraconic acid derivatives 5a – f in moderate to high yields as mixtures of diastereoisomers. The paraconic acid derivatives 5e and 5f were utilized as the starting materials for the syntheses of (±)‐lichesterinic acid ( 12 ), (±)‐phaseolinic acid ( 13 ), (±)‐nephromopsinic acid ( 14 ), (±)‐rocellaric acid ( 15 ), and (±)‐dihydroprotolichesterinic acid ( 16 ).  相似文献

A new abietane diterpene, named abietopinoic acid, and a new podocarpane diterpene, named podopinoic acid, were isolated from the acetone extract of the heartwood of Pinus massoniana. Their structures were established as 12‐hydroxy‐7‐oxoabieta‐8,11,13‐trien‐18‐oic acid ( 1 ) and 13‐hydroxy‐7‐oxopodocarpane ( 2 ) by means of spectroscopic analyses including 2D‐NMR. To the best of our knowledge, this is the second report of a podocarpa‐8,11,13‐trien‐18‐oic acid diterpene, isolated from the genus Pinus.  相似文献
