[reaction: see text] The iron-catalyzed cross-coupling reaction of alkenyl sulfides with Grignard reagents is described. While the cross-coupling proceeds efficiently at alkenyl-S bonds, almost no cross-coupling takes place at aryl-S bonds, attesting to a unique selectivity of iron catalysis. The beneficial effect of potentially coordinating 2-pyrimidyl group on sulfur is also described.  相似文献

The reaction of 3‐(benzothiazol‐2‐yl)‐3‐oxopropanenitrile 1 with active methylene reagents 2a–d and sulfur afforded polysubstituted thiophenes 3a–c . The synthetic potential of the β‐enaminonitrile moiety in 3a was explored. The reaction of 3a with active methylene reagents 2a–e afforded thieno[2,3‐b]pyridine derivatives 6–8. Refluxing of 3a with acetic anhydride alone, with acetic anhydride/pyridine mixture, or with carbon disulfide in pyridine afforded the acetamido 9, thieno[2,3‐d]pyrimidine 10, and pyrimidinedithiol 11 derivatives, respectively. The pyrimidinedithiol 11 was alkylated smoothly with methyl iodide to give the bis(methylthio) derivative 12. Also, compound 3a reacted with trichloroacetonitrile to give the thieno[2,3‐d]pyrimidine derivative 14. Compound 3a reacted with triethyl orthoformate or formamide to give the ethoxymethylideneamino 15 and thieno[2,3‐d]pyridine 16, respectively. Compound 15 reacted with hydrazine to afford thieno[2,3‐d]pyridine 17, which reacted with various reagents such as chloroacetyl chloride, ethyl cyanoacetate, diethyl oxalate, or chloroethylformate to give 1,2,4‐triazolo[1,5:1,6]pyrimidino‐[4,5‐b]thiophene derivatives 18a–c and 19, respectively. © 2000 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. A powerful cascade reaction process for the construction of functionalized cis-bicyclo[3.3.0]octenes has been developed. Carbolithiation of 3-methylene-1,4-cyclooctadiene with 1 degrees , 2 degrees , or 3 degrees alkyllithium reagents leads to cyclooctadienyl anions, which undergo disrotatory electrocyclization and subsequent trapping with carbon, oxygen, sulfur, or silicon electrophiles to provide functionalized cis-bicyclo[3.3.0]octenes. Transmetalation of the allyllithium intermediates allowed access to the cuprate manifold of reactivity. The rapid construction of a linear triquinane using this methodology demonstrates the potential for synthetic applications.  相似文献

A convenient one-pot synthesis of [1]benzothieno[3,2-b]benzothiophene from readily available o-dihalostilbenes using combined reagents of sodium sulfide nonahydrate (Na2S·9H2O) or sodium hydrosulfide hydrate (NaSH·nH2O) and sulfur is described along with plausible reaction paths in this intriguing reaction.  相似文献

Organolithium reagents attack the sulfur atoms of fused oligothiophenes producing ring-opened organolithium intermediates that can be trapped with a suitable electrophile. The reaction was found to be general for fused thieno[2,3-b]-thiophenes and some [3,2-b]-fused oligothiophenes. Thermodynamic (organilithiums basicity) and mechanistic (RLi coordination by neighboring sulfur) aspects control the substrate scope and regioselectivity of the reaction. When competitive deprotonation of the substrate is possible, high selectivity toward ring-opening was observed with n-BuLi when compared with the other tested organolithiums. The recently discovered octathio[8]circulene produces multifold ring-opening products.  相似文献

[reaction: see text] The coupling of various dienylfurans with dimethyl acetylenedicarboxylate (DMAD) has been examined. In most cases this reaction proceeds via [8 + 2]-cycloaddition to afford furan-bridged 10-membered ring systems as a single diastereomer. Dienylfuran intermediates were generated using either a chromium carbene-based method or aldol-based methods. Reaction of [8 + 2]-cycloadducts with electrophilic reagents occurred selectively at the enol ether alkene.  相似文献

A new general approach to anionic transformations of acetylenes using superbasic media has been developed. It allows series of new reactions which are not undergone by acetylene under conventional conditions. The triads Se8KOHdimethylsulfoxide (DMSO), Se8KOHDMSO, TeKOH-hexamethyl-phosphorictriamide (HMPA) are proposed as new effective reagents for the preparation of unsaturated compounds of sulfur, selenium and tellerium. A series of reactions of acetylene with sulfur, selenium and tellerium proceeding in DMSO or HMPA in the presence of alkali and water at 80–120° leading to divinyl sulfide, divinyl selenide and divinyl teluride in 25–80% yields have been found. Thiophen, di-1-(1,3-butadienyl) sulfide, 1-vinyl-2-thiabicyclo[3.2.0]hept-3-ene, and dihydrothiophen have been obtained by the reaction of vinylacetate with sulfur. The reaction of vinylacetylene with selenium affords selenophen, di-1-(1,3-butadienyl) selenide, 1-vinyl-2-selenabicyclo[3.2.0]hept-3-ene, methyl (1-(1,3-butadienyl) sulfide, and methylthiomethyl 1-(1,4-butadienyl) selenide, vinyl 1-(1,3-butadienyl) sulfide, and methylthiomethyl 1-(1,3-butadienyl) selenide (the latter two with DMSO participation). The reaction of vinylacetate with tellerium gives mainly di-1-(1,3-butadienyl) telluride. A series of reactions between DMSO and selenium leading to dimethyl sulfide, dimethyl sulfoselenide, and methylthiomethyl selenide have been observed.  相似文献

Treatment of a 1,7-diorgano[60]fullerene with Grignard reagents or organocopper reagents affords a [60]fullerene indenide or a [60]fullerene cyclopentadienide regioselectively in good to excellent yields. These reactions gave an insight into the reaction mechanism of the organocopper penta-addition reaction of [60]fullerene, giving [60]fullerene cyclopentadienide in quantitative yield.  相似文献

A series of organonickel(II) complexes incorporating an amido phosphine ligand tethered with an amino pendant have been prepared and characterized. Deprotonation of N-(dimethylaminoethyl)-2-diphenylphosphinoaniline (H[PNN]) with one equivalent of n-BuLi in ethereal or hydrocarbon solutions at -35 °C generates cleanly dimeric {Li[PNN]}(2) as yellow crystals. The reaction of NiCl(2)(DME) with {Li[PNN]}(2) in THF at -35 °C affords green crystalline [PNN]NiCl. Treating [PNN]NiCl with NaX in acetone solutions gives [PNN]NiX (X = Br, I). Alkylation or arylation of [PNN]NiCl with appropriate Grignard reagents in THF at -35 °C produces red crystalline [PNN]NiR (R = Me, Et, i-Bu, n-hexyl, CH(2)Ph, Ph). The chloride complex [PNN]NiCl was found to be an active catalyst precursor for Kumada coupling reactions of PhX (X = I, Br, Cl) with aryl or alkyl Grignard reagents, including those containing β-hydrogen atoms. The X-ray structures of {Li[PNN]}(2) and [PNN]NiX (X = Cl, Br, Me, Et, n-hexyl) are reported.  相似文献

A novel series of the pyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidines having biologically active sulfur moieties 3-20 were prepared via reaction of 4-mercapto-1-phenyl-1 H -pyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidine 3 with different reagents. Identification of the new compounds was established by elemental analyses, IR, 1 H-NMR, and mass spectral data. Some of the obtained compounds showed the interesting antimicrobial activity comparable to antibiotic chloramphenicol as standard antibacterial agent and Terbinafin as a standard antifungal agent.  相似文献

The scope of a sulfur monoxide extrusion reaction of pyrimido[4,5-b][1,4]benzothiazepines leading to pyrimido[5,4-c]isoquinolines was investigated. Thus, selective oxidation followed by nucleophilic displacement of the oxidized side chain sulfur group and subsequent extrusion reaction of sulfur monoxide in the ring, which can be conducted in a two-step sequence or in a one-pot procedure, produced novel pyrimido[5,4-c]isoquinolines, a class of compounds with potential biological and pharmaceutical applications. From 9H-amino [l]benzopyranno-as-triazines 2 and 3 , [l]ben-zopyranno[4,3-e] or [3,4-e]pyrimido[l,2-b]-as-triazinones have been prepared by reaction with β-ketoesters. Chemical reduction of the compounds gives tetrahydro derivatives. By electrochemical reduction the dihydro compounds 14 and 15 were from-ed. A convenient method for synthesis of novel 1‐[pyrimidinyl], 1‐[1,3,5‐triazin‐2‐carbonyl], and 1‐[thiazol‐5‐carbonyl] derivatives of 3‐thioxo‐diaziridine 1 , 3 , 5 , and 7 from corresponding hydrazides, CS2, and KOH is elaborated. The highest reaction yield was observed when these initial reagents were taken in molar ratio of 1:1.7:2.0, respectively. By alkylation of compounds 1 , 3 , 5 , and 7 that proceeds exclusively at sulfur atom, the 3‐sulfanyl derivatives of 1‐[pyrimidinyl]‐, 1‐[1,3,5‐triazin‐2‐carbonyl]‐, and 1‐[thiazol‐5‐carbonyl]‐diazirines 2 , 4 , 6 , and 8 were formed. The structures of synthesized compounds were confirmed by proton and carbon nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), mass spectra (MS), and elemental analysis. The fungicidal activities of S‐substituted derivatives were studied. Data of preliminary biological tests testify that these compounds can be of interest in search for new fungicides. J. Aryl 3- and 4-pyridyl sulfoxides undergo ligand exchange in reactions with aryl Grignard reagents to generate 3- and 4-pyridyl Grignard reagents, which, upon treatment with aldehydes or ketones, give the corresponding addition products in moderate-to-good yields. The mechanism for the exchange reaction was investigated by treating optically active 3- and 4-pyridyl p-tolyl sulfoxides with a phenyl Grignard reagent. Inversion of the configuration of the sulfur atom was the stereochemical result of the reactions. In the reactions of phenyl 2-pyridyl sulfoxide with Grignard reagents, the leaving ability of the 2-pyridyl group competes with that of the phenyl group. Both the experimental and MO calculated enthalpy values for deprotonation of α-, β-, and γ-protons of pyridine in the gas phase [1] are in accordance with the following order of the leaving abilities of aryl and pyridyl Grignard reagents: 4-PyMgBr > 3-PyMgBr » PhMgBr > p-TolMgBr > 2-PyMgBr.  相似文献

[reaction: see text] Iodo- and bromoaromatics bearing sensitive carboxylic ester and cyano groups underwent a selective halide-magnesium exchange with isopropylmagnesium chloride at ambient temperature in the presence of bis[2-(N,N-dimethylamino)ethyl] ether to afford the corresponding Grignard reagents. The newly formed reactive Grignard reagents were allowed to react with electrophiles such as trimethylborate to afford arylboronic acids in good to excellent yields.  相似文献

Heteroatom-containing organic molecules are of particular interest to medicinal chemists and materials scientists. A strategy to reach these architectures via direct difunctionalization of abundant 1,3-dienes is especially attractive. Herein, we describe the development of a regio- and diastereoselective 1,4-aminothiolation of 1,3-dienes with a sulfur diimide reagent, a copper catalyst, and alkyl Grignard reagents. This unique protocol provides remote nitrogen and sulfur functionalities with high levels of stereocontrol. The reaction proceeds via a tandem hetero-Diels–Alder cycloaddition of N,N′-bis(benzenesulfonyl)sulfur diimide with 1,3-diene followed by copper-catalyzed Grignard substitution. Mechanistic studies support a copper catalyzed formation of an unprecedented [10-S-4] sulfurane that reductively eliminates to afford a 3,6-dihydrothiazine, which is selectively converted to 1,4-aminothiols.  相似文献

Preparation is described of stereoisomeric (p-nitrobenzoyl)-5-aminomethylbicyclo[2.2.1]hept-2-enes and their epoxidation by peracetic acid. By an example of one of amides was demonstrated a possibility of selective reduction of separated fragments in the polyfunctional compound using sulfur in alkaline medium, hydrazine hydrate in the presence of a nickel catalyst, and lithium aluminum hydride. By reaction with electrophilic reagents from the amines synthesized, (p-aminobenzoyl)-endo-5-aminomethylbicyclo[2.2.1]hept-2-ene and (p-aminobenzoyl)-endo-2-aminomethylbicyclo[2.2.1]hept-2-ene, were obtained new bicyclic compounds containing alongside the amide group also sulfonamide, carboxamide, urea, and thiourea moieties. The structure of compounds obtained was confirmed by 1Hand 13C NMR spectroscopy, by two-dimensional spectra measured along COSY and NOESY procedures.  相似文献

A new cyclophane, 10,20-dibromo-2,3,12,13-tetrathia[4.4]metacyclophane (1) , has been synthesized by the oxidative coupling reaction of 2,6-bis(mercaptomethyl)-1-bromobenzene with I2. Both syn and anti isomers of 1 can be isolated at room temperature. The thermal sulfur extrusion reaction of anti- 1 with (Et2N)3P afforded anti-9,18-dibromo-2,11-dithia[3.3]metacyclophane, while syn- 1 gave 9,19-dibromo-2,11,12-trithia[3.4]metacyclophane. syn-9,18-Dibromo-2,11-dithia[3.3]metacyclophane was produced from the photochemical sulfur extrusion of syn- 1 with (MeO)3P.  相似文献

Additions of iodonium-X reagents to N-alkoxycarbonyl-2-azabicyclo[2.2.1]hept-5-enes and the homologous 2-azabicyclo[2.2.2]oct-5-enes have been found to mirror the outcomes of additions of bromonium-X reagents. Only rearranged products were observed for reactions of either of these halonium ion reagents with the azabicylo[2.2.1]hept-5-enes. For the azabicyclo[2.2.2]oct-5-enes, nitrogen participation in addition of IOH or BrOH was dependent on the N-alkoxycarbonyl group. With larger N-Boc, N-Cbz, or N-Troc protecting groups, unrearranged 5-anti-hydroxy-6-syn-I(or Br)-2-azabicyclo[2.2.2]octanes were formed by nucleophilic attack at C(5) on syn-halonium ions. The structure of N-methyl-8-anti-bromo-4-anti-hydroxy-2-azabicyclo[3.2.1]octane has been reassigned by X-ray analysis.  相似文献
