We construct stationary black-hole solutions in SU(2) Einstein-Yang-Mills theory which carry angular momentum and electric charge. Possessing nontrivial non-Abelian magnetic fields outside their regular event horizon, they represent nonperturbative rotating hairy black holes. 相似文献

We construct generalizations of the Kerr black holes by including higher-curvature corrections in the form of the Gauss-Bonnet density coupled to the dilaton. We show that the domain of existence of these Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet-dilaton (EGBD) black holes is bounded by the Kerr black holes, the critical EGBD black holes, and the singular extremal EGBD solutions. The angular momentum of the EGBD black holes can exceed the Kerr bound. The EGBD black holes satisfy a generalized Smarr relation. We also compare their innermost stable circular orbits with those of the Kerr black holes and show the existence of differences which might be observable in astrophysical systems. 相似文献

We present the metric for a rotating black hole with a cosmological constant and with arbitrary angular momenta in all higher dimensions. The metric is given in both Kerr-Schild and the Boyer-Lindquist form. In the Euclidean-signature case, we also obtain smooth compact Einstein spaces on associated S(D-2) bundles over S2, infinitely many for each odd D>/=5. Applications to string theory and M-theory are indicated. 相似文献

In this work, the solution of the Einstein equations for a slowly rotating black hole with Born-Infeld charge is obtained. Geometrical properties and horizons of this solution are analyzed. The conditions when the ADM mass (as in the nonlinear static cases) and the ADM angular momentum of the system have been modified by the non linear electromagnetic field of the black hole, are considered. 相似文献

Recent results concerning determination of the masses of eleven black holes in X-ray binary systems are summarized. It should
be noted that phenomena of X-ray pulsars or type I X-ray bursters are not observed among high-mass (mx>3M⊙) X-ray sources in binary systems.

We report on the formation of stable rotating bound states consisting of self-organized well localized solitary structures with particle-like behaviour in systems of reaction-diffusion type. These dissipative solitons are detected in an experimental planar d.c. gas-discharge system with a high ohmic barrier, as well as in numerical solutions of related three-component reaction-diffusion equations where the formation of rotating bound states is investigated in the context of a particle ansatz.Received: 15 July 2003, Published online: 15 March 2004PACS:

Regimes of motionless and moving switching waves and discrete solitons are found for a two-dimensional set of weakly coupled single-mode optical fibers. A regime of a stable sharply localized soliton structure whose center of gravity moves along a curvilinear closed trajectory in the cross section is found. Scenarios of the regime destabilization upon variation of system parameters are considered. 相似文献

Recent progress in the understanding of the statistical nature of black hole entropy shows that the counting functions in certain classes of models are determined by automorphic forms of higher rank. In this paper we combine these results with Langlands? reciprocity conjecture to view black holes as probes of the geometry of spacetime. This point of view can be applied in any framework leading to automorphic forms, independently of the degree of supersymmetry of the models. In the present work we focus on the class of Chaudhuri-Hockney-Lykken compactifications defined as quotients associated to ZN groups. We show that the black hole entropy of these CHLN models can be derived from elliptic motives, thereby providing the simplest possible geometric building blocks of the Siegel type entropy count. 相似文献

Cosmological black holes (CBH), i.e. black holes with masses of the order of , have been proposed as possible progenitors of galaxy voids. The presence of a CBH in the central region of a void should
induce significant gravitational lensing effects and in this paper we discuss such gravitational signatures using simulated
data. These signatures may be summarized as follows: (1) a blind spot in the projected position of the CBH where no objects
can be detected; (2) an excess of faint secondary images; (3) an excess of double images having a characteristic angular separation.
All these signatures are shown to be detectable in future deep surveys. 相似文献
