The utilization of the pole of the operational amplifier enables the extension of its useful frequency range. The gain and the bandwidth of the operational amplifier are the primary factors determining the filter performance. The experimental results of a low-sensitivity filter circuit are presented. The amplifier rolloff characteristics can be utilised in deriving transfer functions. A new topology simultaneously implementing lowpass (LP) and bandpass (BP) transadmittance filtering signals using a single operational amplifier (OA), one capacitor, and two resistors is presented. The input impedance is very high which is essential for cascading without employment of buffers. The circuit uses absolute minimum number of active and passive components. The filter employs pole-model of OA and as such has acquired suitability for extended frequency operation. The circuit permits separate adjustment of natural frequency (ω0) and quality factor (Q) in an orthogonal manner. The circuit has low sensitivity figures unlike the reported single amplifier biquads. Independent control of centre frequency, frequency selectivity and passband gain by a single resistor is possible with this design. The filter has low sensitivity to all circuit active and passive parameters and is suitable for low-medium-high Q factor operations over a wide range of frequencies. The filter consists of a single operational amplifier (OA), a single capacitor, and two resistors and supports LP, BP, HP, AP and Notch filtering signals from the same topology, without requiring additional components besides being devoid of component matching constraints. The filter uses OA pole and has thereby acquired suitability for extended frequency operation. The natural angular frequency ω0 and the Q can be separately tuned. Using the single-pole model of the operational amplifier (OA) a grounded capacitor network has been analyzed to yield either a bandpass or a low-pass function by adjustment of a single resistor. The bandpass/low-pass filters are suitable for high selectivity applications at extended frequency ranges with the advantage of independent adjustment of pole-frequency, pole-Q factor, and midband/passband transmission gain. The network has low sensitivity to all the circuit parameters. The experimental results are quite in agreement with the analysis.  相似文献
