The time-dependent Pancharatnam phase and the quantum correlations are studied for the two-qubit system in correlated dephasing environment. We find that in both X-state and Y-state, the rapid changes of the time-dependent Pancharatnam phase are intrinsic in the died and alive phenomena of quantum entanglement described by the concurrence under the exactly same parameters, while the slow changes of the time-dependent Pancharatnam phase correspond to the sudden death of entanglement. The results show that the time-dependent Pancharatnam phase includes the information of quantum correlations.  相似文献

We study the dynamics of classical correlation and quantum discord of two-qubit system interacted with the thermal reservoir. Special attention is paid to the difference between the entanglement and quantum discord when considering the influences of the nonzero mean photon number and quantum fluctuation of the vacuum. It is shown that in the same range of the physical parameters, the factors leading to the entanglement sudden death only accelerates the decay of quantum discord, and the quantum discord can last for an infinite period when the entanglement disappears. So the quantum discord is more robust than entanglement under this decoherence environment, and quantum discord is a more general measure of quantum correlation than entanglement.  相似文献

The entanglement evolution of multipartite quantum states under a spin environment is analyzed. Due to interaction, the extent to which the entanglement vanishes depends not only on the size of system and the structure of quantum states, but also on the exchange couplings with environment. A scheme is presented for generating the genuine three-qubit entanglement by the nearest-neighbour couplings. In this paper, we construct a parameterized form of unitary \(\breve {R}_{123}(\theta _{1},\theta _{2},\varphi )\) matrix through the Yang-Baxterization method. Acting such matrix on three-qubit natural basis as a quantum gate, we can obtain a set of entangled states, which possess the same entanglement value depending on the parameters ?? 1 and ?? 2. Particularly, such entangled states can produce a set of maximally entangled bases Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger (GHZ) states with respect to ?? 1 = ?? 2 = π/2. Choosing a useful Hamiltonian, one can study the evolution of the eigenstates and investigate the result of Berry phase. It is not difficult to find that the Berry phase for this new three-qubit system consistent with the solid angle on the Bloch sphere.  相似文献

The effect of stochastic dephasing on the dynamics of entanglement of qutrit-qutrit states is investigated by using negativity and bound entanglement defined with realignment criterion. From the analysis, we find that the time evolution of quantum free entanglement and bound entanglement depends on the fluctuations of the stochastic variables and the parameters of the particular initial states of concern. Our results imply that some qutrits states display both distillability sudden death and entanglement sudden death, while some states do not display distillability sudden death but onlyentanglement sudden death.  相似文献

We investigate the asymptotic behavior of solutions to a kinetic equation describing the evolution of particles subject to the sum of a fixed, confining, Hamiltonian, and a small, time-oscillating, perturbation. The equation also involves an interaction operator which acts as a relaxation in the energy variable. This paper aims at providing a classical counterpart to the derivation of rate equations from the atomic Bloch equations. In the present classical setting, the homogenization procedure leads to a diffusion equation in the energy variable, rather than a rate equation, and the presence of the relaxation operator regularizes the limit process, leading to finite diffusion coefficients. The key assumption is that the time-oscillatory perturbation should have well-defined long time averages: our procedure includes general “ergodic” behaviors, amongst which periodic, or quasi-periodic potentials only are a particular case.  相似文献

Entanglement properties of Heisenberg spin chain has received much attention in the context of quantum information. The generation and the manipulation of entangled states especially thermal entanglement have been extensively studied in the Heisenberg models. In this article, we studied the thermal entanglement in a three-qubit spin system. It is found that the DM interaction along the Z axis can give rise to a thermal entanglement.  相似文献

We study the precision of parameter estimation for dephasing model under squeezed environment. We analytically calculate the dephasing factor γ(t) and obtain the analytic quantum Fisher information (QFI) for the amplitude parameter α and the phase parameter ?. It is shown that the QFI for the amplitude parameter α is invariant in the whole process, while the QFI for the phase parameter ? strongly depends on the reservoir squeezing. It is shown that the QFI can be enhanced for appropriate squeeze parameters r and θ. Finally, we also investigate the effects of temperature on the QFI.  相似文献

This paper provides a self-contained overview of the geometry and dynamics of relativistic brane models, of the category that includes point particle, string, and membrane representations for phenomena that can be considered as being confined to a worldsheet of the corresponding dimension (respectively one, two, and three) in a thin limit approximation in an ordinary 4-dimensional spacetime background. This category also includes brane world models that treat the observed universe as a 3-brane in 5 or higher dimensional background. The first sections are concerned with purely kinematic aspects: it is shown how, to second differential order, the geometry (and in particular the inner and outer curvature) of a brane worldsheet of arbitrary dimension is describable in terms of the first, second, and third fundamental tensor. The later sections show how—to lowest order in the thin limit—the evolution of such a brane worldsheet will always be governed by a simple tensorial equation of motion whose left hand side is the contraction of the relevant surface stress tensor T¯µv with the (geometrically defined) second fundamental tensor K , while the right hand side will simply vanish in the case of free motion and will otherwise be just the orthogonal projection of any external force density that may happen to act on the brane.  相似文献

In order to gain a better understanding of the origin of decoherence in superconducting flux qubits, we have measured the magnetic field dependence of the characteristic energy relaxation time (T(1)) and echo phase relaxation time (T(2)(echo)) near the optimal operating point of a flux qubit. We have measured T(2)(echo) by means of the phase cycling method. At the optimal point, we found the relation T(2)(echo) approximately 2T(1). This means that the echo decay time is limited by the energy relaxation (T(1) process). Moving away from the optimal point, we observe a linear increase of the phase relaxation rate (1/T(2)(echo)) with the applied external magnetic flux. This behavior can be well explained by the influence of magnetic flux noise with a 1/f spectrum on the qubit.  相似文献

应用量子主方程理论研究量子点-微腔耦合系统的激射性质.分别探索了不同类型的微腔耦合系统("好的系统"、"中等系统")在外加泵浦场的作用下表现出的激射现象.分析比较了失谐大小及环境纯消相干对这两种微腔耦合系统的内部特性(光场分布、腔内光子数等)产生的影响.数值仿真表明:对于"好的系统",在失谐量不大的情况下,引入适当的纯消相干有利于提高耦合系统的激射性能;对于"中等系统",由于失谐条件下光子在腔内集聚困难,因而很难达到激射,但是通过引入适量的纯消相干可以对腔内光场分布和光子数产生剧烈调制作用.该结果对于研究单量子点激光器,以及探索光与物质相互作用等方面具有指导作用.  相似文献
