23Na NMR microimaging is described to map, for the first time, the sodium distribution in living plants. As an example, the response of 6-day-old seedlings of Ricinus communis to exposure to sodium chloride concentrations from 5 to 300 mM was observed in vivo using 23Na as well as 1H NMR microimaging. Experiments were performed at 11.75 T with a double resonant 23Na–1H probehead. The probehead was homebuilt and equipped with a climate chamber. T1 and T2 of 23Na were measured in the cross section of the hypocotyl. Within 85 min 23Na images with an in-plane resolution of 156 × 156 μm were acquired. With this spatial information, the different types of tissue in the hypocotyl can be discerned. The measurement time appears to be short compared to the time scale of sodium uptake and accumulation in the plant so that the kinetics of salt stress can be followed. In conclusion, 23Na NMR microimaging promises great potential for physiological studies of the consequences of salt stress on the macroscopic level and thus may become a unique tool for characterizing plants with respect to salt tolerance and salt sensitivity.  相似文献

Temperature dependences of the pressure P(T) in homogeneous solid 3He-4He mixtures have been studied experimentally in the wide range of concentrations (35.0%, 62.0%, 68.3%, 74.1%, 75.0%, and 89.3% 3He) above and below the equilibrium phase separation temperature Ts. An anomalous behaviour of the pressure in the vicinity of Ts is found for all investigated samples. With decreasing temperature, as Ts is approached, the pressure increases instead of expected reduction due to decrease in the phonon contribution (PphT4). Such an increase in pressure continues in the metastable region below Ts until the mixture separates. Theoretical interpretation of the observed effects based on a rigorous thermodynamic approach is proposed. The found experimentally pressure behaviour can be described only with the consistent account for fluctuations in the impurity subsystem which near Ts dominates over phonon contribution into the pressure. The obtained theoretical results are in good quantitative agreement with the experimental data. Density fluctuations in the concentrated mixtures give rise to a spontaneous formation of impuriton nano-clusters containing several hundreds of atoms. The fluctuation can be rigorously interpreted as a nucleus of the second phase in the pre-separated homogeneous solid mixture. The estimated size of the fluctuation nano-clusters agrees with the corresponding value for second phase nuclei obtained from the Lifshits-Slesov phenomenological theory of homogeneous nucleation.  相似文献

The dynamics of up-conversion, green emission under excitation at different infra-red wavelength in Ho3? doped ZBLAN fiber is reported. Under infrared, 890 nm quasi cw pumping the complicated temporal behavior of the up-conversion signal is strongly influenced by the intermediate 5I5 state cross relaxation. The mechanisms of the observed up-conversion processes are proposed and the time evolution of the 5S2 population is described by the rate equation model. Parameters of the model are determined and numerical simulations of the excited state dynamics are performed.  相似文献

For CH2+ molecular ions at 5 K we simulate the infrared absorption spectrum, and tabulate all strong absorption lines from 0 to 16 000 cm−1. We use ab initio potential energy, dipole moment, and transition moment surfaces in conjunction with our program system RENNER, which allows for the Renner-Teller effect and spin-orbit coupling in a full-dimensions calculation. This is done for the purpose of guiding our search for the matrix isolation spectrum; our attempts at finding this spectrum are also described.  相似文献

An effective Hamiltonian built up to sixth order in the Amat-Nielsen ordering scheme describing all rovibrational energy levels in the ground electronic state and containing in explicit form all resonance interaction terms due to the approximate relations between harmonic frequencies ω1≈2ω2 and ω3≈4ω2 was applied to model the observed rovibrational line positions (collected from the literature) of 14N15N16O and 15N14N16O isotopologues of nitrous oxide. For 14N15N16O, 124 effective Hamiltonian parameters were fitted to near 28 000 observed line positions covering the 0.8-8860 cm−1 spectral range. The RMS of the weighted fit is 0.00126 cm−1 and dimensionless standard deviation is 1.48. For 15N14N16O, 121 effective Hamiltonian parameters were fitted to more than 31 000 observed line positions covering the same spectral interval. The RMS of the weighted fit is 0.00185 cm−1 and dimensionless standard deviation is 1.85. In both cases the models describe all available line positions with precision compatible to the measurement uncertainties. A number of local resonance perturbations was found and discussed. Among these perturbations there are interpolyad resonance Coriolis interactions. A comparison of HITRAN-2008 data with the calculations based on the fitted models is presented.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

High-resolution emission spectrum of the 1–4 band of the B 2Σ+X 2Σ+ transition of 14C16O+ was observed for the first time by conventional emission spectroscopy. The band spectrum was excited in a water-cooled Geissler lamp filled with commercial gaseous carbon monoxide enriched in about 80% of the radiocarbon 14C. A rotational analysis has been carried out and obtained molecular constants have been merged with previously published data for the B 2Σ+A 2Πi and A 2ΠiX 2Σ+ transitions. The principal equilibrium constants for the ground X 2Σ+ state obtained from this work are ωe = 2121.7726(98), ωe x e = 13.9055(27), B e = 1.815290(30), αe = 1.6594(33) × 10?2, and γe = ? 0.377(73) × 10?4 cm?1. Also, presently known experimental equilibrium molecular constants of the X 2Σ+ states of the CO+ isotopic molecules are summarized and isotopic dependence of the B e and ω e constants is discussed.  相似文献

One-neutron knockout reactions of 24–28Ne in a beryllium target have been studied in the Fragment Separator (FRS), at GSI. The results include inclusive one-neutron knockout cross-sections as well as longitudinal-momentum distributions of the knockout fragments. The ground-state structure of the neutron-rich neon isotopes was obtained from an analysis of the measured momentum distributions. The results indicate that the two heaviest isotopes, 27Ne and 28Ne, are dominated by a configuration in which a s1/2s1/2 neutron is coupled to an excited state of the 26Ne and 27Ne core, respectively.  相似文献

A computer-aided optoacoustic gas analyzer based on a continuous13C16C2 laser for multicomponent pollution of atmospheric air is described. The analyzer has the ability to detect absorption of radiation by detected substances at the level of ∼1·10−9 cm−1 at a time resolution of 30 sec. Abstract

Three new bands of the B 2Σ+X 2Σ+ system of 12C17O+ have been investigated using conventional spectroscopic techniques. The spectra were observed in a graphite hollow‐cathode lamp by discharging molecular oxygen (enriched in about 45% of the 17O2 isotope) under 1.0 Torr pressure. The rotational analysis of the 2–4, 2–5, and 2–6 bands was performed with the effective Hamiltonian of Brown (Brown et al., J. Mol. Spectrosc. 1979; 74: 294–318). Molecular constants were derived from a merge calculation, including both the current wavenumbers and the spectroscopic data published by the authors previously. The principal equilibrium constants for the ground state of 12C17O+ are ωe=2185.9658(84), ωe x e = 14.7674(11), B e=1.927001(38), αe=1.8236(22)×10?2, γe=?0.331(28)×10?4, D e=6.041(12)×10?6, βe=0.100(31)×10?7 cm?1, and the equilibrium constants for the excited state are σe=45876.499(15), ωe=1712.201(12), ωe x e=27.3528(39), B e=1.754109(35), αe=2.8706(57)×10?2, γe = ?1.15(19)×10?4, D e=7.491(20)×10?6, βe=2.13(12)×10?7, γe = 2.0953(97)×10?2, and αγe=?9.46(59)×10?4 cm?1, respectively. Rydberg–Klein–Rees potential energy curves were constructed for the B 2Σ+ and X 2Σ+ states of this molecule, and Franck–Condon factors were calculated for the vibrational bands of the BX system.  相似文献

The composition of thin perovskite films, especially the oxygen content, is a crucial parameter which influences many physical properties, such as conductivity and catalytic activity. Films produced by pulsed laser deposition are normally annealed in an oxygen atmosphere after deposition to achieve a desired oxygen content. In pulsed reactive crossed beam laser ablation, no annealing step is necessary, but a fundamental question regarding this deposition technique is still open: where does the oxygen in the films come from?There are three possibilities, i.e. from the target, from the gas background, or from the gas pulse. To answer this question two experiments were performed: 18O2 was used during the deposition process as background gas with 16O anions in the target and 16O2 gas pulse, and a 18O2 gas pulse with 16O from the target and background. These experiments revealed that the quantification of the oxygen origin is only possible, when no oxygen exchange occurs at the deposition temperature. The films are characterized after deposition by elastic recoil detection analysis (ERDA) to determine the 16O/18O ratio. Experiments with different oxidizing species in the gas pulse (N2O and O2) confirm that the oxidizing potential (N2O > O2) as well as the number of molecules are important.  相似文献

CaSO4 exists in several phases. The most common phase of CaSO4 is orthorhombic and reported Ce3+ emission corresponds to this phase. However, significant change in the emission of Ce3+ is observed when CaSO4 crystallizes in hexagonal phases. The emission is observed at 354 nm as compared to the spilt band at 305 and 326 nm for the orthorhombic phase. The preparation procedure and photoluminescence spectra for orthorhombic and hexagonal phases are described in this paper.  相似文献

The g factors g // and g of the ground Γ6(2 T 2) and excited Γ4,5(2 E), Γ6(2 E) states for trigonal Cu2+ centres in ZnO crystals are calculated from three theoretical methods, the complete diagonalization (of the energy matrix) method, the second-order perturbation method (PTM-I) and the simplified second-order perturbation method (PTM-II, this method was described in an earlier paper). These methods are based on the cluster approach in which the spin-orbit coupling parameters ζ, ζ′ and the orbital reduction factors k, k′ are calculated from a semi-empirical molecular orbital method. The crystal-field parameters used in the calculations are obtained from the superposition model and so the defect structure of Cu2+ centres in ZnO can be acquired. The calculated g factors from the three methods are in reasonable agreement with the experimental values and the defect structure of Cu2+ centres in ZnO is acquired. It appears that in some cases the approximate PTM can be applied in the studies of g factors of various states. The conditions that the PTM are ineffective are discussed.  相似文献

High-resolution spectra of the 0–9, 0–10 and 0–11 bands of theA 2II u X 2II g system of (16O18O)+ ion have been studied for their rotational structure. This study enables a direct determination of the Λ-doubling parameters of theA 2II u andX 2II g states. The model of ‘pure precession’ explains, though not entirely, the Λ-doubling of theX 2II a state as arising out of its interaction with theB 2 Σ g state. Continuing the systematic study of ozone high-resolution infrared spectra, we present in this paper the measurements and analyses of line positions for the 18O16O18O isotopomer. In the range 900-5000 cm−1, corresponding to the observed spectra, 15 bands are analysed: ν1, ν3, ν2+ν3, ν1+ν2, 2ν3, ν1+ν3, 2ν1, ν2+2ν3, ν1+ν2+ν3, 3ν3, 2ν1+ν3, ν2+3ν3, ν1+3ν3, ν1+ν2+3ν3, and 5ν3. As in the case of 16O3, 18O3, and 16O18O16O, the analysis of these bands is performed using effective rovibrational Hamiltonians for nine polyads of interacting upper vibrational states. To correctly reproduce all observed transitions, we have to account for resonance perturbations due to 13 “Dark” states: (0 3 0), (0 4 0), (2 1 0), (0 3 1), (1 0 2), (0 4 1), (1 1 2), (3 1 0), (0 3 2), (0 0 4), (3 2 0), (0 1 4), and (0 4 2). We present the range of observed transitions, the results for spectroscopic parameters (vibrational energy levels, rotational and centrifugal distortion constants, and resonance coupling parameters), as well as the statistics for rovibrational energy levels, calculations and measurements. A comparison of observed band centres with those predicted from an isotopically invariant potential function is discussed. The RMS deviation between predicted and directly observed band centres is ≈0.03 cm−1 up to 3000 and ≈0.25 cm−1 for all 16 bands up to 5000 cm−1.  相似文献

The reaction mechanisms of methylhydrazine (CH3NHNH2) with O(3P) and O(1D) atoms have been explored theoretically at the MPW1K/6-311+G(d,p), MP2/6-311+G(d,p), MCG3-MPWPW91 (single-point), and CCSD(T)/cc-pVTZ (single-point) levels. The triplet potential energy surface for the reaction of CH3NHNH2 with O(3P) includes seven stable isomers and eight transition states. When the O(3P) atom approaches CH3NHNH2, the heavy atoms, namely N and C atoms, are the favourable combining points. O(3P) atom attacking the middle-N atom in CH3NHNH2 results in the formation of an energy-rich isomer (CH3NHONH2) followed by migration of O(3P) atom from middle-N atom to middle-H atom leading to the product P6 (CH3NNH2+OH), which is one of the most favourable routes. The estimated major product CH3NNH2 is consistent with the experimental measurements. Reaction of O(1D) + CH3NHNH2 presents different features as compared with O(3P) + CH3NHNH2. O(1D) atom will first insert into C–H2, N1–H4, and N2–H5 bonds barrierlessly to form the three adducts, respectively. There are two most favourable paths for O(1D) + CH3NHNH2. One is that the C–N bond cleavage accompanied by a concerted H shift from O atom to N atom (mid-N) leads to the product PI (CH2O + NH2NH2), and the other is that the N–N bond rupture along with a concerted H shift from O to N (end-N) forms PIV (CH3NH2 + HNO). The similarities and discrepancies between two reactions are discussed.  相似文献

Red-emitting Y2O3:Eu3+ and green-emitting Y2O3:Tb3+ and Y2O3:Eu3+, Tb3+ nanorods were synthesized by hydrothermal method. Their structure and micromorphology have been analyzed by X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The photoluminescence (PL) property of Y2O3:Eu3+,Tb3+ phosphor was investigated. In the same host (Y2O3), upon excitation with ultraviolet (UV) irradiation, it is shown that there are strong emissions at around 610 and 545 nm corresponding to the forced electric dipole 5D0-7F2 transition of Eu3+ and 5D4-7F5 transition of Tb3+, respectively. Different qualities of Eu3+and Tb3+ ions are induced into the Y2O3 lattice. From the excitation spectrum, we speculate that there exists energy transfer from Tb3+ to Eu3+ ions .The emission color of powders reveals regular change in the separation of light emission. These powders can meet with the request of optical display material for different colors or can be potentially used as labels for biological molecules.  相似文献

The 0 1,2 + ,2 1,2 + and 4 1,2 + states in 74Se have been described as linear combinations of pure states with definite deformation within a two-band mixing model. The mixing amplitudes between the spherical and deformed configurations and the mixing matrix elements have then been extracted from the calculations. The reduction process of Bi3+, HTeO2+ and their mixtures on Au electrode surface was studied by cyclic voltammetry, linear sweep voltammetry, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and chronoamperometry. XRD and EDS methods were also used to measure the reductive products prepared under different potentials and provide the evidences of the reactions. The results indicate that the reduction of HTeO2+ occurs at more positive potential than that of Bi3+, but its reduction rate is slower and adsorption phenomenon exists during its reduction process. Bi2Te3 compound can be obtained potentiostatically at a proper potential in all the mixed solutions with concentration ratio CHTe+O2/CBi3+ in our research range (0.1-10). But pure Bi2Te3 compound can only be obtained at 42 mV in the solution with concentration ratio CHTe+O2/CBi3+ equaling to 1. And the formation of Bi2Te3 compound is an inductive co-depositing process: (1) HTeO2+ + 4e + 3H+ → Te0 + 2H2O, (2) 3Te0 + 2Bi3+ + 6e → Bi2Te3.  相似文献
