Es werden flogende Fragen zur Produktion von Isotopen, Kernstrahlungsquellen und Radioisotopengeräten in der UdSSR behandelt: das Sortiment in der Isotopenproduktion und der Isotopentechnik; die Planung und Spezialisierung der industriellen Fertigung von Isotopenerzeugnissen und isotopentechnischen Gerāten; volkswirtschaftliche Überlegungen dazu; Anwendung und Ausbildung für die Anwendung der Atomenergie.     

The Application of the Tracer Technique in Agricultural and Related Sciences

This article reviews the principles of tracer technique and its application in agricultural and related sciences involving counting radioactivity, synthesis of radioactive labelled compunds and its use in solving analytical, metabolic and biosynthetic problems.     

Part III: Study of Tissue Distribution and Retention

The tissue distribution of colloidal zirconyl phosphate-P₃₂ and its retention following i.m and i.v. injection in mice were studied. About 63 per cent of the i.m. injected P₃₂ activity was retained at the site of injection after 5 days, suggesting the use of the colloid in the local treatment of tumours. The deposition of the colloid in bone and liver after i.v. injection presented zirconyl phosphateP₃₂ as useful in the radiotherapy of bone and liver disease.
