The effect of gamma radiation on the electrical conductivity σ of 8-hydroxyquinoline metal complexes was studied. The induced electrical conductivity for the investigated compounds was found to decrease on increasing radiation dose and approaches nearly that of the ligand at doses range from 3 to 5 MGy (300 to 500 Mrd). On the other hand, the increase in the activation energy ΔE by irradiation was found to depend on the crystal field stabilization energy (C.F.S.E.) in high spin tetrahedral field and the ionic potential of the metal.  相似文献

A series of 8-hydroxyquinoline complexes of tin, Q(2)SnCl(2) (Q?=?2-methyl-8-hydroxyquinoline, 8-hydroxyquinoline, 5,7-dibromo-8-hydroxyquinoline, 5-chloro-8-hydroxyquinoline, 5,7-dichloro-8-hydroxyquinoline and 5-nitro-8-hydroxyquinoline) were prepared by reacting stannous dichloride with 8-hydroxyquinoline and its derivatives. All complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, mass spectrometry and infrared, UV-vis and (1)H NMR spectroscopes. Furthermore, the molecular structure of a representative complex, dichlorido-bis(5-nitro-quinolin-8-olato-2N,O)tin(IV), was determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The photoluminescence (PL) properties of all prepared compounds and electroluminescence (EL) property of a selected complex (Q?=?5-chloro-8-hydroxyquinoline) were investigated. The results showed that the emission wavelength can be tuned by electron donating or withdrawing group substituent on 8-hydroxyquinoline. Application of prepared complexes in fabrication of an OLED has been demonstrated.  相似文献

The effect of gamma radiation on the electrical resistivity of some lanthanide and alkali acetylacetonate complexes was studied for differet doses (20-49 – 36-2 Mr). The activation energy for each complexes was calculated. The obtained results showed that the resistivity as well as the activation energy increase with increasing the radiation dose. An empirical linear relation between the rate of change of resistivity with radiation dose and the ionic radius of the metal was obtained.  相似文献

以2,4-二羟基苯甲酸和8-羟基喹啉为配体,以Ni2+作为中心原子,合成了一种新的三元固体配合物H[Ni(C7H4O4)(C9H6NO)]·2.5H2O,并采用元素分析、IR光谱和TG-DSC分析对它的结构进行了表征。结果表明,在该配合物中,2,4-二羟基苯甲酸配体以羧基O原子和一个羟基O原子与中心原子配位,8-羟基喹啉配体以羟基O原子和喹啉N原子与中心原子配位,配合物的配位数为4。  相似文献

Radiophotolumenescence (RPL) of irradiated and non irradiated thin films of polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) doped with anthracene (Anth) as a donor, and tetracyanoquinodimethane (TCNQ) as an acceptor, has been investigated. The RPL – glow spectrum was recorded to study the characterizing emission bands from the point of view of glow peak position and intensity and hence the prospective relative sensitivities. RFL – signal fading after one month storage in dark at room temperature post gamma irradiation was also studied. PMMA doped with 6:4 donor to acceptor ratio has been proved to be the most sensitive one with less fading regarding gamma detection. On the other hand 2 Anth: 8 TCNQ was found to be the proper dopant concentration ratio for thermal neutron detection.  相似文献

采用水热合成的方法,得到一种新颖镉的配合物{[Cd(H2biim)2(SO4)].3H2O}n(1,H2biim=2,2’-biimidazole)。通过X-ray单晶衍射分析可知,在该化合物中,SO24-桥连Cd(Ⅱ)离子在c轴上形成"之"字形一维无机CdSO4链。双咪唑配体通过与镉的配位作为支链悬挂在链的两侧,链与链之间分别通过π—π堆积和氢键作用,拓展为三维超分子网络。二维红外相关光谱分析表明SO24-的对称伸缩振动及咪唑环上的N—C伸缩和反伸缩振动,以及NC伸缩振动对热微扰均有响应。稳态荧光分析显示,配合物在397nm光激发下,在498nm处出现了强的蓝光,该发射带归属为配体到金属的荷移跃迁。  相似文献

A non-contact and simple interferometric technique has been used to measure the refractive index variation of gamma irradiated CR-39 polymer samples. Six samples of thickness (750 μm) and dimensions of 1.5 × 3 cm2, have been irradiated with gamma radiation doses in the range from zero to 600 kGy. It is observed that the refractive index increases by increasing the dose and reaches its maximum value at 40 kGy dose, and then starts to decrease again. This means that the gamma radiation deformation in the CR-39 polymer is a chain scission effect. This interferometric technique could make a contribution to recombination and degradation mechanisms on CR-39 polymer.  相似文献

At present, there are three popular vulcanization processes being used in natural rubber latex industries, which are sulfur, radiation and peroxide vulcanization. Sulfur vulcanization produced products with superior mechanical properties compared to radiation and peroxide vulcanization. This paper discussed the effect of gamma irradiation dose on hybrid radiation and peroxidation vulcanizations in improving the mechanical properties of radiation vulcanized natural rubber latex (RVNRL). Latex compounding formulations are developed based on 2.5?parts per hundred rubber (phr) of hexanediol diacrylate (HDDA) as the sensitizer, 0.1?phr of tert-butyl hydroperoxide (t-BHPO) as the co-sensitizer and 2.5?phr of Aquanox LP antioxidant. The RVNRL was prepared and irradiated at various gamma radiation doses of 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12?kiloGray (kGy). The rubber film obtained from irradiation at 6?kGy had tensile strength, modulus @ 500% and modulus @ 700% of 27.0, 3.0 and 11.0?MPa, respectively, which is more than 37% increment compared to the control film. Besides, the crosslink percentage of the rubber film showed 4% increment from 90% to 94%.  相似文献

The present work aims to test the effect of gamma radiation on the rate of eruption of rat incisors. One hundred and five adult male albino rats were used and irradiated at different gamma doses. The effects of irradiation were investigated by numerical measurements of eruption rate, histological investigation using light microscope and spectral analysis using Fourier Transform Infra-Red (FTIR). No detectable changes were observed in the groups with smaller radiation doses. There was a significant decrease in the eruption rate starting from the 4?Gy radiation dose. The observation of histological sections revealed disturbance in cellular elements responsible for eruption as well as periodontal disturbance in the samples irradiated with 4 and 6?Gy. FTIR Spectroscopy of control group and the group irradiated by 0.5?Gy showed similar absorption bands with minor differences. However, samples irradiated by 1?Gy showed significant changes in both molecular structure and conformation related to carbonates and hydroxyl groups. From the previous results, it could be concluded that gamma irradiation negatively affects the eruption rate of the rat incisors especially with higher doses.  相似文献

The lyoluminescence (LL) properties of gamma irradiated KBr:Ce phosphor are reported in this paper. The samples were prepared by wet chemical route. The prepared material was characterized by lyoluminescence technique. LL in KBr:Ce have been recorded for different gamma doses. The nature of variation of peak LL intensity is found to be sublinear with gamma irradiation dose, and the peak LL intensity is found to be dependent on concentrations of added Ce in the samples. Negligible fading in the prepared KBr:Ce (0.5 mol%) sample is observed.  相似文献

以3,3',4,4'-联苯四甲酸二酐(BPDA)为配体原料合成了两种碱式铕和铽配合物,通过元素分析、红外光谱和热重分析等测试技术表征了配合物的结构组成,用紫外光谱和荧光光谱研究了配合物的发光性能。结果表明:两种配合物的组成分别为Tb5L3(OH)3·8H2O和Eu5L3(OH)3·10H2O(L=BPDA),稀土铕(Ⅲ)和铽(Ⅲ)与羧酸根的配位方式主要以桥式配位为主,兼有少量螯合配位。这些配合物的热稳定性能良好。铽配合物和铕配合物均呈现红色荧光,铽配合物归属于5D47F3跃迁(613 nm)的荧光寿命为491.11 μs,归属于5D47F5 跃迁(544 nm) 的荧光寿命为27.9 μs;铕配合物归属于5D07F2 跃迁 (613 nm) 的荧光寿命为329.5 μs,荧光量子产率为13.05%。  相似文献

高温硫化硅橡胶具有优良的电气性能、机械性能、憎水性而广泛应用于特高压输电线路,但亦会受外界环境的影响而老化,其抗紫外老化性能受到关注。课题组模拟户外紫外辐射环境,设计搭建了可调式紫外辐射加速老化试验箱,对A、B两个厂家的高温硫化硅橡胶样品进行了紫外辐射(0,500和1 000 h)加速老化实验,重点对辐射前后的试样进行X射线光电子能谱全谱扫描和窄区谱分析、确定元素化学位移及相对含量,分析紫外辐射对高温硫化硅橡胶表面化学态的影响,进而判断紫外辐射加速高温硫化硅橡胶老化机制。结果表明:高温硫化硅橡胶主要元素为O1S,C1S,Si2p,其中O1S主要以O-Si-O(532.4 eV)的形式存在,紫外辐射后,拟合分峰观察到534 eV的-OH的小峰,积分面积随辐照时间延长而增加;C1S为C-H,C-C(284.8 eV)或C-O(286.3 eV),随着辐射时间的延长,C-H和C-C结合能峰积分面积减小,C-O结合能峰的积分面积略微增加;Si2p为Si-C(102.39 eV),紫外辐射后新增SiOxx=3~4)结合能峰(103.6 eV)且积分面积随辐射时间延长而增加。分析认为紫外辐射加速老化的机理是紫外线切断硅橡胶中键能较低的部分Si-C,C-C和C-H键,裂解后的自由基可相互结合发生交联反应形成SiOxx=3~4);辐射产生高活性的臭氧氧化自由基生成-COOH。XPS技术能够探究高温硫化硅橡胶的表面化学态从而促进其老化机理的研究。  相似文献

A study of the effect of gamma and laser irradiation on the color changes of polyallyl diglycol (CR-39) solid-state nuclear track detector was performed. CR-39 detector samples were classified into two main groups. The first group was irradiated with gamma doses at levels between 20 and 300 kGy, whereas the second group was exposed to infrared laser radiation with energy fluences at levels between 0.71 and 8.53 J/cm2. The transmission of these samples in the wavelength range 300–2500 nm, as well as any color changes, was studied. Using the transmission data, both the tristimulus and the coordinate values of the Commission Internationale de l'Eclairage (CIE) LAB were calculated. Also, the color differences between the non-irradiated samples and those irradiated with different gamma or laser doses were calculated. The results indicate that the CR-39 detector acquires color changes under gamma or laser irradiation, but it has more response to color changes by gamma irradiation. In addition, structural property studies using infrared spectroscopy were performed. The results indicate that the irradiation of a CR-39 detector with gamma or laser radiations causes the cleavage of the carbonate linkage that can be attributed to the ?H abstraction from the backbone of the polymer, associated with the formation of CO2 and ?OH with varying intensities.  相似文献

Lithium quinolate including mono(8-hydroxyquinoline) lithium(I) complex (Liq) formed in the interlayer spaces of two smectites via solid-solid reactions and in situ complex formation by reacting Li-smectites (Li(I)-synthetic saponite and Li(I)-montmorillonite) with 8-hydroxyquinoline at room temperature. The incorporation of 8-hydroxyquinoline into Li(I)-smectites was proved by powder X-ray diffraction, infrared spectroscopy, thermal and elemental (CHN) analysis. UV-vis absorption and photoluminescence spectra indicated that 8-hydroxyquinoline ligand formed Liq chelate in the interlayer spaces of smectites. The higher luminescence intensity of the Liq complex in synthetic saponite confirmed the very low content of quenching impurities such as iron in the synthetic saponite. The variation of the photoluminescence bands supported the difference in molecular packing and/or crystal structure of the complex formed in the interlayer spaces of smectites.  相似文献

8-羟基喹啉铝类有机金属配合物作为一类重要的发光材料广受关注.文章合成并通过真空升华提纯得到了一种高纯度的8-羟基喹啉铝的衍生物-三(2-甲基-8-羟基喹啉)铝,通过红外光谱、核磁共振谱以及元素分析确定了三(2-甲基-8-羟基喹啉)铝的分子结构.通过热重和差示扫描量热分析研究了三(2-甲基-8-羟基喹啉)铝的热稳定性,试验结果表明:此衍生物的结晶转变温度可达158℃,分解温度为357℃;并进一步通过紫外可见吸收光谱和荧光光谱表征了材料的带隙以及能带结构.将吸收边的线性关系延伸到与能量轴相交所得禁带宽度2.85 eV,三(2-甲基-8-羟基喹啉)铝在365 nm紫外光的激发下,在乙醇溶液体系中的荧光发射峰在479 nm处,为蓝色荧光,荧光量子效率高,是一种蓝光发射的优选材料.  相似文献

The ultrasonic velocity of the alkali-borosilicate with different transition metal oxides (TMO) has been studied using the pulse echo technique. The elastic moduli such as elastic constant and bulk modulus have been obtained from the experimental data. Changes in the structure with different gamma irradiation doses have been investigated by using FTIR spectroscopy and ultrasonic studies. The results show that structural changes in the BO3 to BO4 due to TMO and irradiation are obtained.  相似文献

This review discusses the morphological changes and biological responses of plants irradiated with gamma rays. Seedlings exposed to relatively low doses of gamma rays (1-5 Gy) developed normally, while the growth of plants irradiated with a high dose gamma ray (50 Gy) was significantly inhibited. Based on TEM observations, chloroplasts were extremely sensitive to gamma irradiation compared to other cell organelles, particularly thylakoids being heavily swollen. In addition, some portions of the mitochondria and endoplasmic reticulum were structurally altered, for example, distortion and swelling. The cerium perhydroxide deposition, as a maker for H(2)O(2) deposition, was typically manifest on the plasma membranes and cell walls of the tissues from both the control and irradiated plants. However, the intensities of cerium perhydroxide deposits (CPDs) were remarkably increased in the plasma membranes and cell walls of pumpkin tissues such as petiole, cotyledon, hypocotyl and especially leaf after gamma irradiation. These observations are in good agreement with the results of H(2)O(2) content in all tissues. The immuno-localization analysis for peroxidase (POD) on the tissues from pumpkin plant showed the same pattern between the control and irradiated plants, but the density of gold particles as indication of POD localization was significantly increased on the cell corner middle lamellae of parenchyma cells, especially in the petiole after gamma irradiation. However, accumulation and localization of H(2)O(2) and POD in vessels were not significantly different between both plants. The accumulation and localization of both H(2)O(2) and POD were differentially affected by gamma irradiation depending on the different tissue types. The deposition of both H(2)O(2) and POD in parenchyma cells appeared much higher than in vessels, suggesting that the former is more sensitive than the latter against gamma rays.  相似文献
