Über die Wechselwirkung äquivalenter Erbium-Ionen in kristallinem (Er,Y)2O3

The half-width of the absorption line⁴ I _15/2I→² H _11/2 f≈19246 cm^?1 of crystalline (Er, Y)₂O₃ was measured at 90° K, the Er: Y-ratios ranging from 1∶0 to 1∶1000. The line becomes sharper as the separation of the Erbium-ions increases. The Erbium-ions are supposed to interact by way of an excitation exchange mechanism. The interaction is still noticeable at a distance of 20 A.

Etude par Spectrométrie Infrarouge et Raman des Phases Cristallines Basses Temperatures de (NH4)3H(SO4)2

The Raman and infrared spectra of (NH₄)₃H(SO₄)₂ crystal were investigated in the range 20–300 K. An assignment of bands due to internal and external vibrations is given. The crystalline phases designated II, III, V and VII were identified and characterized spectroscopically. Hydrogen bonding, the nature and degree of structural (dis)order and the mechanisms of the phase transitions are discussed. The NH₄⁺ ions show an important orientational disorder and become fully ordered in phase VII only. They are involved in all transitions and seem the main cause of the ferroelectricity at low temperature.     

Analyse der Rückstoßprodukte in neutronenbestrahlten Phenylarsenverbindungen, 3. Mitteilung: Über die Bestimmung der Ausbeute an Diphenylarsen-Rückstoßprodukten

Für das in der 1. Mitteilung [1] beschriebene Trennverfahren zur Anfarbeitung bestrahlter Mono-, Di- und Triphenylarsenverbindungen sollte die Effektivität der chromatographischen Trennung an dem Kationenaustauscher KPS (6% DVB) mit Hilfe einer unabhängigen Methode überprüft werden. Außerdem sollten Hinweise über Art und Anzahl der nichtidentifizierten ?unbckanntcn Produkte“ erhalten werden, die gemeinsam mit den Diphenylarsen-Rüekstoßprodukten im NaOH-Eluat auftreten. Zu diesem Zweck wurde die von Siuda [2] vorgeschlagene papierelektrophoretische Trennung benutzt.
