The solid-phase 13C CPMAS NMR spectra of the crystalline dimers from 10-, 12- and 14-membered cyclic α-diketones were found to be in full accord with the symmetrical tricyclic 2,5-dihydroxycyclohexane-1,4-dione structures previously proposed on the basis of molecular formulae and infrared spectroscopy.  相似文献

The 147 nm photolysis of 3,3 dimethylbut-1-ene leads mainly to the formation of very hot (?375 kJ/mol) α,α-dimethallyl radicals. On the other hand, that of 3-methyl-cis-and trans-pentene-2, as well as that of 2,3-dimethylbut-1-ene is a source of very hot α,β-dimethallyl radicals. These allylic radicals are coolled down using pressure and are allowed to combine with available methyl radicals. From the formation of various C6H12 products, it is concluded that the very hot α,α- radical isomerizes towards the α,β-structure at low pressures and vice versa. The equilibrium constant of the following process has been evaluated to be 1.72 ± 0.30.   相似文献

Electron spin resonance (ESR) spectra were observed at ?160°C and at room temperature for γ-irradiated poly-α-methylstyrene. The spectrum observed at room temperature has been attributed to the radical species while that at ?160°C results from the same radical and superposition of the spectrum due to the radical ?H2-C(CH3)(C6H5)-. The radicals which are stable at room temperature could be used to graft vinyl acetate.  相似文献

The reactions of tert-butoxyl radicals with amines, leading to the formation of α-aminoalkyl radicals, and the reactions of these with the electron acceptor methyl viologen have been examined using laser flash photolysis techniques. For example, the radicals CH3?HNEt2 and HOCH2?H N(CH2CH2OH)2 react with methyl viologen with rate constants equal to (1.3 ± 0.1) × 109 and (2.1 ± 0.4) × 109M?1 · s?1, respectively, in wet acetonitrile at 300 K.  相似文献

The structures of α-X-cyclopropyl and α-X-isopropyl radicals (X = H, CH3, NH2, OH, F, CN, and NC) are reported at the RHF 3-21G level of theory. The isopropyl radicals are pyramidal with out-of-plane angles varying from 12° (X = CN) to 39° (X = NH2), and barriers to inversion ranging from 0.4 kcal/mol (X = H) to 4.0 kcal/mol (X = NH2). The cyclopropyl radicals have larger out-of-plane angles, from 39.9° (X = CN) to 49.4° (X = NH2), and their barriers to inversion, which increase with the inclusion of polarization functions, vary from 5.5 kcal/mol (X = H) to 16.7 kcal/mol (X = F). In both types of radicals the amino group is the most stabilizing substituent, while the α-fluoro has little effect. The β-fluoro group is weakly destabilizing in the cyclopropyl radical. The strain energies of the cyclopropyl radicals (36–43 kcal/mol) are compared with those of similarly substituted anions, cations, and cyclopropanes.  相似文献

Two types of reactions, namely the Pudovik reaction of benzaldehyde and acetophenone with diethyl phosphite as well as the substitution of the α‐hydroxyphosphonates so‐formed by primary amines to afford α‐aminophosphonates, were evaluated by quantum chemical calculations at the B3LYP/6‐31G(d,p) level. An unexpected neighboring group effect was found to enhance the substitution. A series of new α‐aminophosphonates was synthesized by the microwave‐assisted substitution of α‐hydroxyphosphonates by alkylamines.  相似文献

Two symmetrical trehalose glycosyl ‘acceptors’ 4 and 6 were prepared and three of the unsymmetrical type, 8 , 10 , and 11 . Glucosylation of symmetrical ‘acceptor’ 4 gave a higher yield of trisaccharide (44%) than protect ve-group manipulation, namely via selective debenzylidenation 2 → 9 or monoacetylation 2 → 5 which proceeded in moderate yields (33–34%). A comparison of catalysts in the cis-glucosylation of trehalose ‘acceptor’ 10 with tetra-O-benzyl-β-D -glucopyranosyl fluoride 13 profiled triflic anhydride ((Tf)2O) as a new reactive promoter yielding 92% of trisaccharide 14 , deblocking gave the target saccharide α-D -glucopyranosyI-( 1 → 4 )-α,α-D -trehalose. 1H-NMR spectra of most compounds were analyzed extensively. The use of the ID TOCSY technique is advocated for its time efficiency, if needed supplemented by ROESY experiments.  相似文献

The 13C and 1H NMR spectra of α-methylidene-β-hydroxy-γ-alkoxy-pentanoates and -decanoates are presented. These data are consistent with a preferred conformation in which an intramolecular hydrogen bond is present. Very characteristic steric shifts in the 13C and 1H NMR spectra provide an efficient tool for the configurational assignment for this class of compounds.  相似文献

An electron spin resonance (ESR) study has been made of radicals trapped in polyisobutylene irradiated at 77 K. It is concluded that only the ? C(Me)2? CH? radical remains after heat treatment above 213 K. This radical shows a very sharp doublet ESR spectrum with hyperfine splitting of about 2.2 mT. A broad doublet ESR spectrum observed without warming, which was previously assigned as ? C(Me)2? CH? is explained as a mixture of a doublet and a triplet due to the ? C(Me)2? CH? and radicals. γ-irradiation at 77 K produces these major radical components and other carbon radicals as minor species. It has also been found that a conversion of other radicals into ? C(Me)2? CH? occurs without decay on annealing below 183 K. Heating in the range 183–213 K causes both conversion and decay of the radicals. On annealing above 213 K, only decay occurs. The ESR spectra of polyisobutylene radicals are easily saturated by microwave power even at 1.6 μW. The mechanism of radiolysis for polyisobutylene is briefly discussed.  相似文献

The carbon chemical shifts of several series of α-haloketones have been measured. Whereas the carbon carrying the halogens shows a regular downfield shift with increasing electronegativity of the substituents, the adjacent carbonyl carbon is shifted upfield by chlorine, bromine and iodine, and is little affected by fluorine substitution. The conformational implications of these results are discussed.  相似文献

A novel reaction of α-iodo ketone (α-iodocycloalkanone, α-iodo-β-alkoxy ester, and α-iodoacyclicketone) with irradiation under a high-pressure mercury lamp gave the corresponding α-hydroxyketone in good yields. In the case of α,α′-diiodo ketone, α,α′-dihydroxyketone which little has been reported until now was obtained. This reaction affords a new, clean and convenient synthetic method for α-hydroxy- and α,α′-dihydroxyketone.  相似文献

The four α,α,α, β,β,β,-hexamethyl α-hydrogen Coα, Coβ-dicyanocobyrinates 2b, d–f , with a free b-, d-, e-, and f-propionic-acid function, respectively, were prepared by partial hydrolysis of heptamethyl Coα, Coβ-dicyanocobyrinate (cobester; 1 ) in aqueous sulfuric acid. The cobester monoacids 2b, d–f were obtained as a ca. 1:1:1:1 mixture which was separated. The monoacids were purified by chromatography and isolated in crystalline form. The position of the free propionic-acid function was determined by an extensive analysis of 2b, d–f using 2D-NMR techniques; an analysis of the C,H-coupling network topology resulted in an alternative assignment strategy for cobyrinic-acid derivatives, based on pattern recognition. Additional information on the structure of the most polar of the four hexamethyl cobyrinates, of the b-isomer 2b , was also obtained in the solid state from a single-crystal X-ray analysis. Earlier structural assignments based on 1D-NMR spectra of the corresponding regioisomeric monoamides 3b, d–f (obtained from crystalline samples of the monoacids 2b, d–f ) were confirmed by the present investigations.  相似文献

220 MHz NMR spectra of sample of poly-p-isopropyl-α-methylstyrene prepared through anionic (A) and cationic (B) polymerizations are studied. Peaks at τ values of 9.07, 9.41, and 9.71 are assigned to isotactic (i), heterotactic (h), and syndiotactic (s) α-methyl triads, respectively. From the α-methyl triads and the β-proton tetrads it is found that polymer A deviates little from Bernoullian statistics and that first-order Markov configurational statistics applies to polymer B. Isopropyl methine and methyl proton resonances are also analyzed in terms of the configurational statistics of the polymer. Resonances of the phenyl protons are assigned with increasing field to s, h, i meta and ortho protons.  相似文献
