3-(2,3-Dimethoxyphenyl)-1-(pyridin-2-yl)prop-2-en-1-one (DMPP) a potential second harmonic generating (SHG) has been synthesized and grown as a single crystal by the slow evaporation technique at ambient temperature. The structure determination of the grown crystal was done by single crystal X-ray diffraction study. DMPP crystallizes with orthorhombic system with cell parameters a = 20.3106(8) Å, b = 4.9574(2) Å, c = 13.4863(5) Å, α = 90°, β = 90°, γ = 90° and space group Pca21. The crystals were characterized by FT-IR, thermal analysis, UV–vis–NIR spectroscopy and SHG measurements. Various functional groups present in DMPP were ascertained by FTIR analysis. DMPP is thermally stable up to 80 °C and optically transparent in the visible region. The crystal exhibits SHG efficiency comparable to that of KDP. 相似文献

It was established that the reaction of 3-aryl-1-(2-methyloxiran-2-yl)prop-2-en-1-ones with tosylhydrazine leads to 3-[(E)-2-arylvinyl]-4-methyl-1-tosyl-1H-pyrazoles
and 3-aryl-1-(2-methyloxiran-2-yl)-3-tosylpropan-1-ones. The latter are formed as a result of rearrangement of the intermediate
hydrazino alcohols and/or addition of p-toluenesulfinic acid during reductive degradation of the tosylhydrazine. It was shown
that the reaction of 3-aryl-1-(2-methyloxiran-2-yl)-3-tosylpropan-1-ones with an excess of tosylhydrazine leads to 3-(2-aryl-2-tosylethyl)-4-methyl-1-tosyl-1H-pyrazoles.

A new cinnamide derivative,(E)-1-(4-(bis(4-methoxyphenyl)methyl)piperazin-1-yl)-3-(4-acetoxy-3-methoxyphenyl)prop-2-en-1-one(C31H34N2O6,Mr = 530.60),has been synthesized by the condensation of 1-(bis(4-methoxyphenyl)methyl)piperazine and(E)-3-(4-acetoxy-3-methoxyphenyl)acrylic acid.The compound was characterized by 1H NMR,13 C NMR,H RMS and single-crystal X-ray diffraction.The crystal belongs to the orthorhombic system,space group P212121 with a = 24.946(5),b = 7.6380(15),c = 14.555(3) ?,V = 2773.3(10) ?3,Z = 4,Dc = 1.271 g/cm3,F(000) = 1128,μ = 0.088 mm-1,Mo Kα radiation(λ = 0.71073 ?),the final R = 0.0641 and w R = 0.1170.A total of 3009 unique reflections were collected,of which 1760 with I 2σ(I) were observed.Intramolecular C(17)–H(17B)···O(3) and C(22)–H(22A)···O(3) interactions as well as intermolecular C(27)–H(27A)···O(3) hydrogen bonds help to stabilize the crystal structure.The title compound was evaluated for the anti-ischemic activity in vitro and in vivo.The bioassay results indicated that the title compound displayed efficient activities against glutamine-induced neurotoxicity in PC12 cells and significantly prolonged the survival time of mice subjected to acute cerebral ischemia. 相似文献

Series of new (E)-1-aryl-3-[2-(piperidin-1-yl)quinolin-3-yl]prop-2-en-1-ones and (E)-1-aryl-3-[2-(pyrrolidin-1-yl)quinolin-3-yl]prop-2-en-1-ones have been efficiently prepared via the Claisen-Schmidt condensation of 2-(piperidin-1-yl)quinoline-3-carbaldehyde and 2-(pyrrolidin-1-yl)quinoline-3-carbaldehyde, respectively, with aryl methyl ketones under conditions of ultrasound and microwave irradiation. Structures of the products have been confirmed by IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, and mass spectroscopy, as well as by elemental analysis. Evaluation of the in vitro antibacterial activity against bacterial (Gram-positive Staphylococcus aureus and Gram-negative Escherichia coli) and fungal (Aspergillus niger and Candida metapsilosis) strains has revealed good antimicrobial activity of some of the tested compounds. 相似文献

On the line of a previous work on the spectral properties of some of heteroaryl chalcone, the absorption and fluorescence emission spectral properties of 3-(4'-dimethylaminophenyl)-1-(2-furanyl)prop-2-en-1-one (DMAFP), have been investigated in organized media of aqueous micellar and beta-cyclodextrin (beta-CD) solutions. While the absorption spectra are less sensitive to the nature of the added surfactant or beta-CD, the characteristics of the intramolecular charge transfer (ICT) fluorescence are highly sensitive to the properties of the medium. The ICT maximum is strongly blue-shifted with a great enhancement in the fluorescence quantum yield on adding micellar or beta-CD. This indicates the solubilization of DMAFP in the micellar core and formation of an inclusion complex with beta-CD. The critical micelle concentrations (CMC) as well as the polarity of the micellar core of SDS, CTAB and TX-100 have been determined. The CMC values are in good agreement with the reported values while the polarity is lower indicating that DMAFP molecules are incorporated in the micellar core not at the micellar interface. The inclusion constants of binding of DMAFP in micellar or beta-CD have been also determined. The thermodynamic parameters of formation of DMAFP:CD inclusion complex have been calculated from the temperature dependence of the fluorescence spectra of the formed complex. The highly negative value of formation entropy (DeltaS=-98.0Jmol(-1)K(-1)) reflects the high restrictions imposed on the movement of both the host and included guest molecules which is consistent with the increase of the fluorescence yield and blue shift of the fluorescence maximum. 相似文献

The chemical reactivity of 3-(dimethylamino)-1-(2-hydroxyphenyl)prop-2-en-1-one (1) towards some phosphorus reagents was studied. The enaminone 1 was cyclized into diethyl 2-phosphonochromone 2 via its treatment with diethyl phosphite in basic medium. However, its reaction with triethoxy phosphonoacetate gave the substituted pyrone phosphonate 3. In addition, two novel examples of 4-(dimethylamino)-6-(2-hydroxyphenyl)-2-sulfido-4H-1,3,2-oxathia-phosphinines 6 and 7 were obtained from treatment of enaminone 1 with O,O-diethyl dithiophosphoric acid and Lawesson’s reagent. When enaminone 1 was also treated with phosphorus decasulfide, it was turned into 4H-thiochromene-4-thione while its treatment with phosphorus tribromide, phosphorus oxychloride, or phenylphosphonic dichloride, 4H-4-oxo-chromene was isolated in all cases. The possible reaction mechanisms of the formation of these products were discussed. The structures of newly isolated products were established by elemental analysis and spectral tools. 相似文献
