Summary The preparation and characterization of CuII, CoII, NiII and HgII complexes containing 1,4-diphenylthiosemicarbazide (DPhTSC) of the type [Cu(DPhTSC-H)X.H2O]nH2O (X= Cl, Br or Ac; n=0 or 1) · [M(DPhTSC-H)2yH2O] (M=CoII or NiII; y=0 or 1) and [Hg(DPhTSC)Cl2]2 H2O and [Cu(D-PhTSC)2SO4]H2O are reported. The stereochemistry of the complexes have been studied with the help of magnetic and electronic measurements. The anomalous magnetic moments observed in all cases have been explained. The i.r. spectral studies have been used to determine the bonding sites in the complexes.  相似文献

Summary Vanillin thiosemicarbazone (VTSC) has been used to isolate the complexes of the types [M(VTSC)2(H2O)2]X2 (M=MnII, FeII, CoII, or NiII and X=Cl) and [M(VTSC)X2]H2O (M=CuII, ZnII, CdII or HgII and X=Cl). Probable structures of these complexes are suggested on the basis of elemental analysis, molar conductance, magnetic moment and electronic and i.r. spectral data. The fungicidal activity of VTSC and the isolated complexes has been evaluated on pathogenic fungi,Alternaria (Sp.),Paecilomyces (Sp.) andPestalotia (Sp.).On leave from the University of Myosore.  相似文献

Novel oligonuclear complexes of Co(II), Ni(II), and Cu(II) with 4-(3,4-dichlorophenyl)-1,2,4-triazole (L) of the composition [M3L10(H2O)2](NO3)6 (M = Co(II), Ni(II)), [Ni3L6(H2O)6]Hal6 (Hal = Cl?, Br?), and [Cu5L16(H2O)2](NO3)10 · 2H2O were synthesized and studied by magnetic susceptibility, electronic and IR spectroscopy, and powder X-ray diffraction methods. All the above complexes are X-ray amorphous. Antifer-romagnetic exchange interactions between the M2+ ions were discovered in the [Co3L10(H2O)2](NO3)6 and [Ni3L10(H2O)2](NO3)6 complexes, whereas ferromagnetic exchange interactions were observed in the complexes [Ni3L6(H2O)6]Cl6, [Ni3L6(H2O)6]Br6, and [Cu5L16(H2O)2](NO3)10 · 2H2O.  相似文献

Novel transition metal complexes with the repaglinide ligand [2-ethoxy-4-[N-[1-(2piperidinophenyl)-3-methyl-1-1butyl] aminocarbonylmethyl]benzoic acid] (HL) are prepared from chloride salts of manganese(II), iron(III), copper(II), and zinc(II) ions in water-alcoholic media. The mononuclear and non-electrolyte [M(L)2(H2O)2]?nH2O (M = Mn2+, n = 2, M = Cu2+, n = 5 and M = Zn2+, n = 1) and [M(L)2(H2O)(OH)]?H2O (M = Fe3+) complexes are obtained with the metal:ligand ratio of 1:2 and the L-deprotonated form of repaglinide. They are characterized using the elemental and molar conductance. The infrared, 1H and 13C NMR spectra show the coordination mode of the metal ions to the repaglinide ligand. Magnetic susceptibility measurements and electronic spectra confirm the octahedral geometry around the metal center. The experimental values of FT-IR, 1H, NMR, and electronic spectra are compared with theoretical data obtained by the density functional theory (DFT) using the B3LYP method with the LANL2DZ basis set. Analytical and spectral results suggest that the HL ligand is coordinated to the metal ions via two oxygen atoms of the ethoxy and carboxyl groups. The structural parameters of the optimized geometries of the ligand and the studied complexes are evaluated by theoretical calculations. The order of complexation energies for the obtained structures is as follows:
$$Fe(III) complex < Cu(II) complex < Zn(II) complex < Mn(II) complex.$$
The redox behavior of repaglinide and metal complexes are studied by cyclic voltammetry revealing irreversible redox processes. The presence of repaglinide in the complexes shifts the reduction potentials of the metal ions towards more negative values.

Synthesis of four different types of ligands Ar[COC(NOH)R] n (Ar = biphenyl, n = 1, HL1; Ar = biphenyl, n = 2, H2L2; Ar = diphenylmethane, n = 1, HL3; Ar = diphenylmethane, n = 2, H2L4; R = furfurylamine in all ligands) and their dinuclear Co2+, Ni2+, Cu2+, and Zn2+ complexes is reported herein. These compounds were characterized by elemental analysis, ICP-OES, FT-IR spectra, and magnetic susceptibility measurements. The ligands were further characterized by 1H NMR. The results suggest that dinuclear complexes of HL1 and HL3 have a metal to ligand mole ratio of 2: 2 and dinuclear complexes H2L2 and H2L4 have a metal to ligand mole ratio of 2: 1. Square pyramidal or octahedral structures are proposed for complexes of oxime ligands. Furthermore, extraction abilities of the four ligands were also evaluated in chloroform using selected transition metal picrates such as Mn2+, Co2+, Ni2+, Cu2+, Zn2+, Cd2+, Hg2+, Pb2+. The ligands show strong binding ability towards Hg2+ and Cu2+ ions.  相似文献

New Co(II), Ni(II), and Cu(II) complexes with 4-(3-hydroxyphenyl)-1,2,4-triazole (L) with the compositions [Co3L6(H2O)5(C2H5OH)](NO3)6 · 2H2O · C2H5OH (I), [Ni3L6(H2O)6](NO3)6 · 2H2O (II), and [M3L6(H2O)6](ClO4)6 · nH2O (M = Co2+, n = 2 (III); Ni2+, n = 2 (IV); Cu2+, n = 0 (V)) are synthesized. The complexes are studied by X-ray structure analysis, X-ray diffraction analysis, UV and IR spectroscopy, and the statistical magnetic susceptibility method. All compounds have the linear trinuclear structure. Ligand L is coordinated to the metal ions by the N(1) and N(2) atoms of the heterocycle according to the bidentate bridging mode. In all compounds the coordination polyhedron of the metal atom is a distorted octahedron. The molecular and crystal structures of compound I, [Co3L6(H2O)6](ClO4)6 · 8C2H5OH (IIIa), and [Ni3L6(H2O)6](ClO4)6 · 8C2H5OH (IVa) are determined.  相似文献

New complexes of iron(II), cobalt(II), and nickel(II) with 4-(2-pyridyl)-1,2,4-triazole (PyTrz), [Fe3(PyTrz)8(H2O)4]A6 (A = NO3 -, ClO4 -, Br-) and [M3(PyTrz)8(H2O)4](NO3)6 (M = Co, Ni), were synthesized and studied by X-ray diffraction, magnetochemical method, and electronic and IR spectroscopy. The complex [Fe3(PyTrz)8(H2O)4](NO3)6) was also studied by adiabatic calorimetry. The Fe(II), Co(II), and Ni(II) nitrate complexes were shown to be isostructural to the previously synthesized linear trinuclear [Cu3(PyTrz)8H2O)4](NO3)6 complex. In all compounds, antiferromagnetic exchange interactions between M2+ ions were detected. The complex [Fe3(PyTrz)8(H2O)4](NO3)6 undergoes the 1 A 1 5 T 2 spin transition.  相似文献

The present work describes the preparation and characterization of some metal ion complexes derived from 4-formylpyridine-4 N-(2-pyridyl)thiosemicarbazone (HFPTS). The complexes have the formula; [Cd(HFPTS)2H2O]Cl2, [CoCl2(HPTS)]·H2O, [Cu2Cl4(HPTS)]·H2O, [Fe (HPTS)2Cl2]Cl·3H2O, [Hg(HPTS)Cl2]·4H2O, [Mn(HPTS)Cl2]·5H2O, [Ni(HPTS)Cl2]·2H2O, [UO2(FPTS)2(H2O)]·3H2O. The complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, spectral (IR, 1H-NMR and UV–Vis), thermal and magnetic moment measurements. The neutral bidentate coordination mode is major for the most investigated complexes. A mononegative bidentate for UO2(II), and neutral tridentate for Cu(II). The tetrahedral arrangement is proposed for most investigated complexes. The biological investigation displays the toxic activity of Hg(II) and UO2(II) complexes, whereas the ligand displays the lowest inhibition activity toward the most investigated microorganisms.  相似文献

Summary The reaction of warm alcoholic solutions of acetates of CoII, MnII, ZnII and NiII with 2, 6-diacetylpyridine andS-methylisothiosemicarbazide hydrogen iodide yielded the complexes: [Co(H2L)I2]·H2O, [Mn(H2L)(MeOH)2]I2, [Zn(H2L)(MeOH)I]I and [Ni(HL)]I, (H2L=the pentadentate pentaaza-ligand 2, 6-diacetylpyridine bis(S-methylisothiosemicarbazone)). The reaction of methanolic solutions of [Ni(HL)]I and NH4NCS or LiOAc.2H2O, give [Ni(HL)]NCS and NiL, respectively. For the complexes of CoII, MnII and ZnII, a pentagonal bipyramidal configuration is proposed, with H2L in the equatorial plane and two unidentate ligands (I and/or MeOH) in the axial positions. The complexes [Ni(HL)]X (X=I or NCS) and NiL probably have monomeric five- and dimeric six-coordinate structures, respectively, in which only the chelate ligand is involved in coordination.  相似文献

The complexes of 4-chloro-2-methoxybenzoic acid anion with Mn2+, Co2+, Ni2+, Cu2+ and Zn2+ were obtained as polycrystalline solids with general formula M(C8H6ClO3)2·nH2O and colours typical for M(II) ions (Mn – slightly pink, Co – pink, Ni – slightly green, Cu – turquoise and Zn – white). The results of elemental, thermal and spectral analyses suggest that compounds of Mn(II), Cu(II) and Zn(II) are tetrahydrates whereas those of Co(II) and Ni(II) are pentahydrates. The carboxylate groups in these complexes are monodentate. The hydrates of 4-chloro-2-methoxybenzoates of Mn(II), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II) and Zn(II) heated in air to 1273 K are dehydrated in one step in the range of 323–411 K and form anhydrous salts which next in the range of 433–1212 K are decomposed to the following oxides: Mn3O4, CoO, NiO and ZnO. The final products of decomposition of Cu(II) complex are CuO and Cu. The solubility value in water at 293 K for all complexes is in the order of 10–3 mol dm–3. The plots of χM vs. temperature of 4-chloro-2-methoxybenzoates of Mn(II), Co(II), Ni(II) and Cu(II) follow the Curie–Weiss law. The magnetic moment values of Mn2+, Co2+, Ni2+ and Cu2+ ions in these complexes were determined in the range of 76−303 K and they change from: 5.88–6.04 μB for Mn(C8H6ClO3)2·4H2O, 3.96–4.75 μB for Co(C8H6ClO3)2·5H2O, 2.32–3.02 μB for Ni(C8H6ClO3)2·5H2O and 1.77–1.94 μB for Cu(C8H6ClO3)2·4H2O.  相似文献

Novel metal organic frameworks including {(pipzH2)[Mn(py-2,3-dc)2]·7.75H2O}n, 1, {(pipzH2)[Zn(py-2,3-dc)2]·4H2O}n, 2, [Cd(py-2,3-dc)(H2O)3]n, 3 and {(pipzH2)[Hg4Cl10]}n, 4, in which pipz is piperazine and py-2,3-dcH2 is pyridine-2,3-dicarboxylic acid were synthesized applying a proton transfer ion pair i.e. (pipzH2)(py-2,3-dcH)2 and corresponding metallic salts and studied by IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR spectroscopy and single crystal X-ray diffractometry. The space group of compounds 1 and 4 are P21/c and C2/c of monoclinic system, respectively. The crystal dimensions are a = 20.108(2) Å, b = 19.910(2) Å, c = 12.997(1) Å, β = 94.354(2)° for 1 and a = 15.940(1) Å, b = 11.2690(9) Å, c = 11.1307(9) Å, β = 90.685(2)° for 4. The crystal structures of 2 and 3 have been reported previously. However, their solution studies are discussed here. The compounds had all polymeric structures. Although ZnII, CdII and HgII were elements of the same group, their behavior against the ion pair was essentially different. Various supramolecular interactions mainly hydrogen bonds of the type O-H?O, N-H?O, C-H?O, N-H…Cl and C-H?Cl were observed in the structures. There was an unusual and huge water cluster in the structure of compound 1. The solution states of compounds 1–4 were studied and reported. The protonation constants of pipz and py-2,3-dc, the py-2,3-dc/pipz proton transfer equilibrium constants and stoichiometry and stability of the system with Mn2+, Zn2+, Cd2+ and Hg2+ ions in aqueous solution were investigated by potentiometric pH titrations.  相似文献

New complexes of Co(II), Ni(II), and Cu(II) nitrates, chlorides, and perchlorates with 4-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-1,2,4-triazole (L) were obtained and examined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, X-ray powder diffraction, and electronic absorption and IR spectroscopy. The cations of all the complexes have linear trinuclear structures. Ligand L is coordinated to the metal ions in a bidentate bridging fashion through the N(1) and N(2) atoms of the heterocycle. The coordination polyhedron of the metal atoms is a distorted octahedron. The molecular and crystal structures of the complexes [Co3L6(H2O)6](ClO4)6 · 3C2H5OH · 3.75H2O and [M3L6(H2O)6](ClO4)6 · 6H2O (M = Cu2+ and Ni2+) were determined.  相似文献

Reactions of fresh M(OH)2 (M = Zn2+, Cd2+) precipitate and (RS)-2-methylglutaric acid (H2MGL), 2,2′-bipyridine (bipy), or 1,10-phenanthroline (phen) in aqueous solution at 50°C afforded four new metal–organic complexes [Zn2(bipy)2(H2O)2(MGL)2] (1), [Zn2(phen)2(H2O)(MGL)2] (2), [Cd(bipy)(H2O)(MGL)] · 3H2O (3), and [Cd(phen)(H2O)(MGL)] · 2H2O (4), which were characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction, IR spectra, TG/DTA analysis as well as fluorescence spectra. In 1, the [Zn(bipy)(H2O)]2+ moieties are linked by R- and S-2-methylglutarate anions to build up the centrosymmetric dinuclear [Zn2(bipy)2(H2O)2(MGL)2] molecules. In 2, the 1-D ribbon-like chains [Zn2(phen)2(H2O)(MGL)2] n can be visualized as from centrosymmetric dinuclear [Zn2(phen)2(H2O)2(MGL)2] units sharing common aqua ligands. Both 3 and 4 exhibit 1-D chains resulting from [Cd(bipy)(H2O)]2+ and [Cd(phen)(H2O)]2+, respectively, bridged alternately by R- and S-2-methylglutarate anions in bis-chelating fashion. The intermolecular and interchain π···π stacking interactions form supramolecular assemblies in 1 and 1-D chains in 24 into 2-D layers. The hydrogen bonded lattice H2O molecules are sandwiched between 2-D layers in 3 and 4. Fluorescence spectra of 14 exhibit LLCT π → π* transitions.  相似文献

The synthesis and characterization of new transition metal complexes of Mn(II), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II) and Zn(II) with 3‐(2‐hydroxynaph‐1‐ylazo)‐1,2,4‐triazole ( HL1 ) and 3‐(2‐hydroxy‐3‐carboxynaph‐1‐ylazo)‐1,2,4‐triazole ( HL2 ) have been carried out. Their structures were confirmed by elemental analyses, thermal analyses, spectral and magnetic data. The IR and 1H NMR spectra indicated that HL1 and HL2 coordinated to the metal ions as bidentate monobasic ligands via the hydroxyl O and azo N atoms. The UV‐Vis, ESR spectra and magnetic moment data revealed the formation of octahedral complexes [Mn L1 (AcO)(H2O)3] ( 1 ), [Co L1 (AcO)(H2O)3]·H2O ( 2 ), [Mn L2 (AcO)(H2O)3] ( 6 ) and [Co L2 (AcO)(H2O)3] ( 7 ), [Ni L1 (AcO)(H2O)] ( 3 ), [Zn L1 (AcO)(H2O)]·H2O ( 5 ), [Ni L2 (AcO)(H2O)] ( 8 ), [Zn L2 (AcO)(H2O)]·10H2O ( 10 ) have tetrahedral geometry, whereas [Cu L1 (AcO)(H2O)2] ( 4 ) and [Cu L2 (AcO)(H2O)2]·5H2O ( 9 ) have square pyramidal geometry.. The mass spectra of the complexes under EI‐con‐ ditions showed the highest peaks corresponding to their molecular weights, based on the atomic weights of 55Mn, 59Co, 58Ni, 63Cu and 64Zn isotopes; besides, other peaks containing other isotopes distribution of the metal. Kinetic and thermodynamic parameters of the thermal decomposition stages were computed from the thermal data using Coats‐Redfern method. HL2 and complexes 6 – 10 were found to have moderate antimicrobial activities against Staphylococcus aureus (gram positive), Escherichia coli (gram negative) and Salmonella sp bacteria, and antifungal activity against Fusarium oxysporum, Aspergillus niger and Candida albicans. Also, in most cases, metallation increased the activity compared with the free ligand.  相似文献

A new series of hexacoordinate cobalt(II), nickel(II) and copper(II) complexes of 5-(2-carboxyphenylazo)-2-thiohydantoin HL having formulae [LM(OAc)(H2O)2] · nH2O (M = CoII, CuII and NiII), [LMCl(H2O)2] · nH2O (M = CoII and NiII), [LCuCl(H2O)]2 · 2H2O, [LCu(H2O)3](ClO4) and [LCu(HSO4)(H2O)2] were isolated and characterized by elemental analyses, molar conductivities and magnetic susceptibilities, and by i.r., electronic and e.s.r. spectral measurements, as well as by thermal (t.g. and d.t.g.) analyses. The i.r. spectra indicate that the ligand HL behaves as a monobasic tridentate towards the three divalent metal ions via an azo-N, carboxylate-O and thiohydantoin-O atom. The magnetic moments and electronic spectral data suggest an octahedral geometry for CoII complexes, distorted octahedral geometry for both NiII and CuII complexes with a dimeric structure for [LCuCl(H2O)]2 · 2H2O through bridged chloro ligands. The X-band e.s.r. spectra reveal an axial symmetry for the copper(II) complexes with unsymmetrical Ms = ± 1 signal and G-parameter less than four for the dimeric [LCuCl(H2O)]2 · 2H2O. The thermogravimetry (t.g. and d.t.g.) of some complexes were studied; the order and kinetic parameters of their thermal degradation were determined by applying Coats–Redfern method and discussed.  相似文献

New bi- and trihomonuclear Mn(II), Co(II), Ni(II), and Zn(II) complexes with sulfa-guanidine Schiff bases have been synthesized for potential chemotherapeutic use. The complexes are characterized using elemental and thermal (TGA) analyses, mass spectra (MS), molar conductance, IR, 1H-NMR, UV-Vis, and electron spin resonance (ESR) spectra as well as magnetic moment measurements. The low molar conductance values denote non-electrolytes. The thermal behavior of these chelates shows that the hydrated complexes lose water of hydration in the first step followed by loss of coordinated water followed immediately by decomposition of the anions and ligands in subsequent steps. IR and 1H-NMR data reveal that ligands are coordinated to the metal ions by two or three bidentate centers via the enol form of the carbonyl C=O group, enolic sulfonamide S(O)OH, and the nitrogen of azomethine. The UV-Vis and ESR spectra as well as magnetic moment data reveal that formation of octahedral [Mn2L1(AcO)2(H2O)6] (1), [Co2(L1)2(H2O)8] (2), [Ni2L1(AcO)2(H2O)6] (3), [Mn3L2(AcO)3(H2O)9] (5), [Co3L2(AcO)3(H2O)9] · 4H2O (6), [Ni3L2(AcO)3(H2O)9] · 7H2O (7), [Mn3L3(AcO)3(H2O)6] (9), [Co2(HL3)2(H2O)8] · 4H2O (10), [Ni3L3(AcO)3(H2O)9] (11), [Mn3L4(AcO)3(H2O)9] · H2O (13), [Co2(HL4)2(H2O)8] · 5H2O (14), and [Ni3L4(AcO)3(H2O)9] (15) while [Zn2L1(AcO)2(H2O)2] (4), [Zn3L2(AcO)3(H2O)3] · 2H2O (8), [Zn3L3(AcO)3(H2O)3] · 3H2O (12), and [Zn3L4(AcO)3(H2O)3] · 2H2O (16) are tetrahedral. The electron spray ionization (ESI) MS of the complexes showed isotope ion peaks of [M]+ and fragments supporting the formulation.  相似文献

New Cu(II), Ni(II), Co(II), and Mn(II) complexes of the gabapentin (Gpn) bidentate drug ligand were synthesized and studied using elemental analyses, melting temperatures, molar conductivity, UV–Vis, magnetic measurements, FTIR, and surface morphology (scanning (SEM) and transmission (TEM) electron microscopes). The gabapentin ligand was shown to form monobasic metal:ligand (1:1) stoichiometry complexes with the metal ions Cu(II), Ni(II), Co(II), and Mn(II). Molar conductance measurements in dimethyl-sulfoxide solvent with a concentration of 10−3 M correlated to a non-electrolytic character for all of the produced complexes. A deformed octahedral environment was proposed for all metal complexes. Through the nitrogen atom of the –NH2 group and the oxygen atom of the carboxylate group, the Gpn drug chelated as a bidentate ligand toward the Mn2+, Co2+, Ni2+, and Cu2+ metal ions. This coordination behavior was validated by spectroscopic, magnetic, and electronic spectra using the formulas of the [M(Gpn)(H2O)3(Cl)]·nH2O complexes (where n = 2–6).Transmission electron microscopy was used to examine the nanostructure of the produced gabapentin complexes. Molecular docking was utilized to investigate the comparative interaction between the Gpn drug and its four metal [Cu(II), Ni(II), Co(II), and Mn(II)] complexes as ligands using serotonin (6BQH) and dopamine (6CM4) receptors. AutoDock Vina results were further refined through molecular dynamics simulation, and molecular processes for receptor–ligand interactions were also studied. The B3LYP level of theory and LanL2DZ basis set was used for DFT (density functional theory) studies. The optimized geometries, along with the MEP map and HOMO → LUMO of the metal complexes, were studied.  相似文献

Zn (II), Cd (II), Hg (II) and U (VI)O22+ complexes of water‐soluble thiosemicarbazone ligand (NaH3PyTSC) have been prepared and characterized using various techniques. Fourier transform‐infrared (FT‐IR) demonstrated that NaH3PyTSC ligand behaves as a binegative NOS tridentate in [Hg(H2PyTSC)(H2O)]2 and [UO2(H2PyTSC)(H2O)]2 complexes via the deprotonated SH, (C=N)az groups from one molecule and SO3? group from another molecule, while it behaves as a binegative NNSO tetradentate in [Cd(H2PyTSC)(H2O)2]2 complex through the deprotonated SH group, the SO3? group and the nitrogen of both the (C=N)az and (C=N)py. Finally, it behaves as a binegative OO bidentate in [Zn(H2PyTSC)(H2O)2]2·2H2O complex by the deprotonated OH group from one molecule and SO3? group from another ligand molecule. The spectral data suggest a tetrahedral coordination around Hg (II) and Zn (II) ions, and an octahedral coordination around Cd (II) and U (VI)O22+ ions. The NaH3PyTSC ligand exhibited maximum luminescent intensity at 501 nm, while Zn (II), Cd (II) and Hg (II) chelates show emission bands at 459, 458 and 358 nm, respectively. Two comparable methods were used to estimate various thermodynamic parameters. Cyclic voltammetry has been studied for Cd (II) complex in solution. Different biological applications of the isolated complexes have been estimated. It was found that [Cd(H2PyTSC)(H2O)2]2 showed the most effective antioxidant and anticancer activity.  相似文献

Cobalt(II), nickel(II), and copper(II) complexes containing 5,12-di(4-bromophenyl)-7,14-dimethyl-1,2,4,8,9,11-hexaazacyclotetradeca-7,14-diene-3,10-dione (H2L1) and 5,12-diphenyl-7,14-dimethyl-1,2,4,8,9,11-hexaazacyclotetradeca-7,14-diene-3,10-dione (H2L2) have been synthesized. All complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, MALDI TOF-MS spectrometry, and electronic absorption spectroscopy. The crystal structures of two compounds, [Cu2(H2L1)Cl4]n and [NiL2], were determined by X-ray powder diffraction. In the polymeric [Cu2(H2L1)Cl4]n, the Cu2Cl4 units and H2L1 molecules are situated on inversion centers. Each Cu(II) has a distorted trigonal-bipyramidal coordination environment formed by N and O from H2L1 [Cu–N 2.340(14)?Å, Cu–O 1.952(11)?Å], two bridging chlorides [Cu–Cl 2.332(5), 2.279(5)?Å] and one terminal chloride [Cu–Cl 2.320(6)?Å]. In the [NiL2] complex, the Ni(II) situated on inversion center has a distorted square-planar coordination environment formed by four nitrogens from L2 [Ni–N 1.860(11), 1.900(11)?Å].  相似文献

Complexes of 5-(phenylazo)-2-thiohydantoin (L1) and 5-(2-hydroxyphenylazo)-2-thiohydantoin (HL2) with Co(II), Ni(II) and Cu(II) salts have been synthesised and characterized by elemental analysis, conductivity, magnetic susceptibility, UV-Vis, IR, ESR and TG studies. The magnetic and spectral data suggested octahedral geometry for [L1M(OAc)2(H2O)2xH2O {M=Nill and Cull} and [L1CuCl2(H2O)]·H2O (dimeric form for the latter), trigonal bipyramidal geometry for [L2Co(OAc)(H2O)]·2H2O, square pyramidal geometry for [L2Ni(OAc)(H2O)]·H2O and square planar geometry for [L2CuCl]·2H2O. TG studies confirmed the chemical formulations of these complexes and showed that their thermal degradation takes place in three to five steps, depending on the type of the ligand and the geometry of the complex. The kinetic parameters (n, E#, A, ΔH#, ΔS# and ΔG#) of the thermal decomposition stages were computed using the Coats-Redfern and other standard equations and are discussed.  相似文献
