We studied the effects of Dzyaloshinski-Moriya (DM) anisoyropic antisymmetric interaction on entanglement and teleportation in a two-qubit Heisenberg chain with intrinsic decoherence taken into account. The main result is the systematic analysis of the negativity and fully entangled fraction’s evolution as a function of DM interaction D and time t. The contrast between the case of the maximally entangled initial state and unentangled ones is presented.  相似文献

We present an interesting monogamy equation for (2⊗2⊗n)-dimensional pure states, by which a quantity is found to characterize the tripartite entanglement with the GHZ type and W type entanglements as a whole. In particular, we, for the first time, reveals that for any quantum state of a pair of qubits, the difference between the two remarkable entanglement measures, concurrence and negativity, characterizes the W type entanglement of tripartite pure states with the two-qubit state as reduced density.  相似文献

Taking into account the intrinsic decoherence, the concurrence of the nearest and the next-to-nearest neighbor qubits in a three-qubit Heisenberg XY chain are investigated when a nonuniform magnetic field is included. We show that the effects of the external magnetic field, including the uniform and inhomogeneous magnetic fields, on the time evolution of entanglement between the nearest and the next-to-nearest neighbor qubits rely deeply on the initial states. We can moderate the destructive effect of intrinsic decoherence by controlling the uniform and inhomogeneous magnetic fields, so that a proper value of uniform and inhomogeneous magnetic fields can, to a great extent enhance the stationary entanglement.  相似文献

We calculate the geometric phase of a spin-1/2 particle coupled to an external environment comprising N spin-1/2 particle in the framework of open quantum systems. We analyze the decoherence factor and the deviation of the geometric phase under a nonunitary evolution from the one gained under an unitary one. We show the dependence upon the system's and bath's parameter and analyze the range of validity of the perturbative approximation. Finally, we discuss the implications of our results.  相似文献

We study the thermal entanglement properties of a simple system that includes three spins inhomogeneously coupled between them with additional anisotropy in their couplings. The main result is the systematic analysis of the concurrence evolution as functions of inhomogeneity, anisotropy and temperature. The boundary quantum entanglement for the s = 1/2 X X Z spin chain with boundary impurities is studied via the density matrix renormalization group (DMRG) method. It is shown that the entanglement entropy of the boundary bond (the impurity and the chain spin next to it) behaves differently in different phases. The relationship between the singular points of the boundary entropy and boundary quantum critical points is discussed.  相似文献

The reason is that any interaction with the environment which distinguishes between the entangled sub-systems collapses the quantum state. The pairwise entanglement between neighboring spins in a general mixed-spin chain with arbitrary spins S and 1/2 is investigated in the thermodynamical limit. The entanglement is witnessed by the magnetic susceptibility which determines a characteristic temperature for an entangled thermal state. The characteristic temperature is nearly proportional to the interaction J and the mixed-spin S. The bound of negativity is obtained on the basis of the magnetic susceptibility. It is found that the macroscopic magnetic properties are affected by the quantum entanglement in the real solids.  相似文献

We investigate the entanglement dynamics and decoherence of a three-qubit system under a quantum spin environment at a finite temperature in the thermodynamics limit. For the case under study, we find the evolution of pairwise entanglement depends not only on the initial states but also on the parameters related to the system and the spin environment. In addition, an undesirable entanglement sudden death occurs in the process of entanglement evolution, and this effect can be controlled by the coupling constant between two qubits, external magnetic field, and the interaction between the system and the environment.  相似文献

We investigate the entanglement dynamics and decoherence of a multipartite system under an environment which can exhibit a quantum phase transition. Our result implies that the entanglement evolution depends not only on the size of the system and the quantum states of concern but also on the environment. Entanglement dynamics of the N-qubit XY model in thermal and dephasing environments are investigated by solving the Lindblad form of the master equation. Analytical solutions for the two-qubit case and numerical solutions for the multi-qubit case are obtained. For the two-qubit case, our results revealed two main features for entanglement evolution from different initial states. First, the thermal reservoir always induces degradation of the entanglement, and the entanglement may undergo sudden death during certain intervals of the evolution time. Second, the dephasing environment induces damped oscillation of the entanglement for initially separable states and mixed states with relative large values of Δ or J; however, it always induces exponentially decay of the entanglement for the initial Bell states. For the multi-qubit case, our results show that the entanglement decreases monotonically as the time evolves for the initial W state, and behaves as damped oscillation for the initial “one-particle” state. Particularly, for system with large number of qubits, the curves of the concurrence C12 with different N are almost overlapped in dephasing environment.  相似文献

We investigate the entanglement dynamics of two initially entangled qubits interacting independently with two uncorrelated reservoirs beyond the Markovian approximation. Quite different from the Markovian reservoirs [C.E. López, et al., Phys. Rev. Lett. 101 (2008) 080503], we find that entanglement sudden birth (ESB) of the two reservoirs occurs without certain symmetry with respect to the entanglement sudden death (ESD) of the two qubits. We present two schemes for efficient implementation of a nonlocal gate with nonmaximal entanglement. The main strategy of the schemes is local conversion of pure states, which consists of a generalized measurement described by a positive operator-valued measure (POVM), one-way classical communication, and corresponding unitary operations. First, we discuss the way to generate determinately the nonlocal gate via any pure shared entangled state combined with entanglement-assistance. The time evolution of entanglement and coherence of two-qutrit states under an XY quantum environment which can exhibit a quantum phase transition has been analyzed. From our results, we find that the quantum phase transition can enhance the entanglement decay and coherence loss when the system is weakly coupled to the environment. Considering Milburn's intrinsic decoherence effect on quantum communication through a spin chain, we show that the transfer quality for quantum state and entanglement will obviously decrease with the increasing intrinsic decoherence rate. Some odd chains are much higher than even ones for the state transfer efficiency. The state transfer of a long chain is very sensitive to the intrinsic decoherence, which turns out to be an obstacle for information transport.  相似文献

By using geometric quantum discord and measurement-induced nonlocality, quantum correlations are investigated for two superconducting (SC) charge qubits that share a large Josephson junction where the field is assumed to be prepared initially in a coherent state. It is found that the difference between measure measurement-induced nonlocality and geometric quantum discord, of the final state of the two SC-charge qubits system which is especial case of X-states, is equal to a constant value. It is found that the quantum correlations and entanglement of the qubits are very sensitive to the mean number of the coherent photons. The entanglement exists in small intervals of death quantum discord and measurement-induced nonlocality. This is further evidence in support of the fact that quantum correlation and entanglement are not synonymous.  相似文献

Thermal entanglement is investigated in a two-qubit Heisenberg XYZ system with different inhomogeneous magnetic fields. It is found that different magnetic fields have different entanglement and critical values. In addition, according to the relation of spin-spin coupling coefficients, a more efficient control parameter of magnetic field can be obtained by adjusting the direction of external magnetic field.  相似文献
