In this contribution, a finite element methodology devised to simulate the structural deterioration of corroded reinforced concrete members is presented. The proposed numerical strategy has the ability to reproduce many of the well-known (undesirable) mechanical effects induced by corrosion processes in the embedded steel bars, as for example: expansion of the reinforcements due to the corrosion product accumulation, damage and cracking patterns distribution in the surrounding concrete, degradation of steel–concrete bond stress transfer, net area reduction in the reinforcements and, mainly, the influence of all these mentioned mechanisms on the structural load carrying capacity predictions.At the numerical level, each component of the RC structure is represented by means of a suitable FE formulation. For the concrete, a cohesive model based on the Continuum Strong Discontinuity Approach (CSDA) is used. Steel bars are modeled by means of an elasto-plastic constitutive relation. The interface is simulated using contact-friction elements, with the friction degradation as a function of the degree of corrosion attack. Two different (and coupled) mesoscopic analyzes are considered in order to describe the main physical phenomena that govern the problem: (i) an analysis at the cross section level and (ii) an analysis at the structural member level.The resultant mechanical model can be used to simulate generalized reinforcement corrosion. Experimental and previous numerical results, obtained from the available literature, are used to validate the proposed strategy.  相似文献

提出一种考虑粘结滑移效应的钢筋混凝土改进型分离式数值模型。在混合物理论基础上,该模型兼顾混凝土基体和钢筋的力学行为,且基于钢筋混凝土界面粘结滑移模型,获得了钢筋等效模型。改进型分离式数值模型由于对钢筋及其界面无显式离散要求,使得钢筋的运用完全独立于其几何形状,同时对混凝土网格没有约束,并且不增加计算成本,因此该模型可适用于钢筋混凝土宏观结构层面分析。通过钢筋混凝土构件-结构的爆炸实验,对改进型分离式数值模型进行层次化验证。对比结果表明,考虑粘结滑移效应的有限元模型能够更好地预测钢筋混凝土结构的宏观力学行为。  相似文献

Using strain-induced orthotropic material concepts, a new numerical constitutive model is demonstrated by predicting the ultimate capacity of a unique simple test specimen and two cylindrical shell structures. Only the uniaxial compressive strength of the concrete and the yield stress of the reinforcing steel are needed as input to predict both constitutive behavior and structural strength. 钢筋锈蚀膨胀引起保护层混凝土开裂是影响钢筋混凝土结构耐久性和服役寿命的重要因素。考虑到混凝土细观结构组成对保护层破坏模式的影响,从细观角度出发,将混凝土看作由骨料、砂浆基质及两者间界面过渡区组成的三相复合材料,建立了描述钢筋锈胀力学行为的混凝土随机骨料模型。采用塑性损伤本构关系模型来表征砂浆基质和过渡区界面的力学行为,假定钢筋均匀锈蚀,对钢筋锈胀引起的混凝土保护层开裂破坏过程进行了细观数值研究。对比了宏观均匀模型与细观非均质模型下获得的保护层破坏模式,探讨了径厚比(c/d)、钢筋位置(中部和角区)及混凝土拉伸强度对保护层破坏模式及保护层胀裂时钢筋锈蚀水平的影响,得到了一些有益结论。  相似文献

The paper presents an approach to constitutive modelling of concrete using damage mechanics and plasticity theory. The thermodynamic formulation, and parameter identification of a non-local coupled damage-plasticity model are presented in this study. The particular focus is the calibration of model parameters. It is shown that both the local parameters and the parameters governing the non-local interaction can be determined from experimental data reliably and consistently. A novel procedure is developed for parameter identification, using the separation of total dissipation energy into additive parts corresponding to different dissipation mechanisms. The relationship between the local and non-local parameters is also addressed, helping to obtain model responses consistent with the fracture energy of the material. The application of the model and the calibration procedure proposed in this study to the numerical failure analysis of concrete structures is illustrated through a series of real structural tests, showing both the performance of the model and the consistency of the proposed calibration procedure.  相似文献

Steel space structures in coastal areas, often exposed in the open air, are inevitably subjected to atmospheric corrosion. This paper presents a framework for evaluation of potential damage due to atmospheric corrosion to steel space structures in coastal areas through an integration of knowledge in material science and structural analysis. An empirical model for estimating corrosion of steel material is first presented based on long-term experimental data available. Equations relating structural natural frequency sensitivity to structural member thickness are then derived in consideration of both inner and outer surface corrosions of the structural member. The nonlinear static analysis is finally conducted to evaluate effects of atmospheric corrosion on the stress of structural members and the safety of steel space structures. By taking a real large steel space structure built in southern coastal area in China as example, the feasibility of the proposed approach is examined and the potential damage caused by atmospheric corrosion to the structure is assessed. The results demonstrate that the atmospheric corrosion does not obviously affect the natural frequencies of the structure but it does create stress redistribution and some of the structural members may have large stress changes.  相似文献

采用三维材料破坏过程分析MFPA3D系统,对钢筋混凝土构件轴心受拉条件下的受力、变形与内部裂纹萌生、扩展及最终破坏全过程进行了数值试验研究。数值模型中引入统计分布函数反映了混凝土的非均匀性影响,并采用具有残余强度的弹性损伤本构模型及其破坏单元材料性质退化方法,利用位移加载方式对钢筋混凝土构件实施拉伸加载。通过对钢筋、素混凝土方形体以及钢筋混凝土方形柱体构件在拉伸作用下破坏过程的数值试验,分析了钢筋与混凝土两种材料之间的相互作用、约束机理和破坏机理。数值试验成果对于深入了解钢筋和混凝土的联合受力规律和钢筋在开裂前后对整体钢筋混凝土结构的作用机制有参考价值。  相似文献

近场动力学方法已被广泛用于钢筋混凝土的开裂破坏研究,传统近场动力学方法的控制方程与参数是基于同种均质材料的能量方程确定,在处理不同种材料之间的相互作用时,无法合理反映其界面的力学行为.针对这一问题,通过分析钢筋混凝土界面的黏结-滑移机理,提出了近场动力学界面区材料点的相互作用模型,发展了考虑钢筋混凝土界面黏结的键基近场动力学方法.基于键基近场动力学与连续介质力学的能量密度等效方法,提出了界面微弹性参数的确定方法;根据钢筋肋间混凝土的应力分布规律,获得界面材料点域半径与受限楔体半径的等效关系;利用界面黏结-滑移曲线峰值应力对应的滑移变形,给出了界面临界拉伸常数确定方法.通过与2组钢筋混凝土构件的拉拔试验对比,验证了发展的界面近场动力学方法,并开展了不同条件下钢筋混凝土构件的数值试验.结果表明,发展的近场动力方法能够合理反映钢筋直径、锚固长度、混凝土强度以及肋间距对钢筋混凝土界面黏结行为的影响,体现了所提方法的合理性与优越性.  相似文献

基于非局部近场动力学理论,构建了修正的能反映混凝土宏观拉压异性和断裂特征的近场动力学本构模型,开发了相应的离散、加载和时间积分算法,实现典型混凝土构件中复合型裂纹扩展过程模拟。在物质点对尺度上定义局部损伤并考虑物质点对的相对转动,通过求解时空微-积分方程实现裂纹的自然萌生与扩展,避免裂尖不连续带来的求解奇异性、网格依赖性和网格重构以及常规近场动力学本构模型的泊松比限制。通过含单边和双边初始裂纹四点剪切混凝土梁裂纹扩展破坏全过程模拟,得到破坏形态、破坏荷载以及完整的荷载-裂纹开口滑移曲线,并与试验和其他数值模拟结果对比,验证了模型的精确性和算法的稳定性。  相似文献

This paper describes a two-dimensional approach to model fracture of reinforced concrete structures under (increasing) static loading conditions. The first part is dedicated to the concrete material. The concrete is described in compression by a non-local isotropic damage constitutive law. In tension, a fictitious crack/crack band model is proposed. The influence of biaxial stress states is incorporated in the constitutive relations. In the second part a bond model is described. It accounts for different failure mechanisms, a pullout failure and a splitting failure. This approach is applied to prestressed concrete beams with different failure mechanisms. The numerical results are compared to experimental data and show good agreement.  相似文献

采用?75 mm大口径SHPB系统进行了钢纤维体积率为0%、0.75%、1.5%三种混凝土材料动态性能实验,得出了不同钢纤维含量、不同应变率下的材料应力-应变关系曲线,实验结果表明:随着纤维含量及应变率的增加,钢纤维混凝土材料的峰值应变、峰值应力都随之提高,并在峰值应力之后出现应力的应变软化现象。以此实验结果为基础,提出了一种依赖于应变和应变率相关函数的新型非线性黏塑性动态本构关系,并通过对实验曲线的三步逐次最小二乘优选模拟,得到了相应的材料参数。结果表明,该本构关系对实验数据的模拟效果较好。  相似文献

A simplified model of cracking and damage in RC circular elements is proposed. The model can be used for the structural assessment of arches and rings. The constitutive equations are based on lumped damage mechanics which is an adaptation of fracture and continuum damage mechanics to the theory of frames with plastic hinges. An arch element is assumed to be the assemblage of an elastic circular component and two inelastic hinges where the main inelastic effects, plastic yielding of the longitudinal reinforcement and concrete cracking, are concentrated. Deformations in the elastic part are assumed to be small but the model may include some geometrically nonlinear effects due to large displacements or rotations of the hinges. The numerical examples presented in the paper show that the model describes correctly the global behavior of two structures including the softening phase.  相似文献

钢筋与混凝土间的粘结本构关系是混凝土结构弹塑性有限元分析的基础之一。针对这一基本问题,本文提出了通过数值模拟方法研究粘结本构关系的思路。采用不连续介质力学问题的界面元法,编制了三维问题的界面元分析程序,用以对混凝土结构中钢筋与混凝土界面的粘结性能进行细观力学分析。通过对两类测量粘结应力以及滑移的典型试件(单端拉拔试件和两端对拉试件)的分析,表明计算结果与试验结果吻合良好。  相似文献

混凝土是一种典型的率敏感材料,为了更好地描述混凝土结构在动力、冲击荷载作用下的强度和变形特征,本文结合内时理论和损伤理论建立了一种考虑混凝土率效应的内时损伤本构模型。该模型的特点:将混凝土材料的受力软化效应分解为密实状态的塑性效应和由微裂缝扩展引起的刚度退化效应。前者由内时理论来描述,这使该模型摆脱了一般弹塑性模型中屈服面的概念,从而更符合混凝土的变形特性,并且简化了非线性计算过程;后者由损伤理论来描述,根据混凝土的动力试验结果建立了增量型的损伤演变方程,从而使该模型能够较好地反映混凝土的动力特性。最后,应用本文建议的模型对一钢筋混凝土简支梁进行了非线性分析,结果表明:当结构承受快速荷载作用时,应变率对结构的受力性能影响较大,在进行结构分析时必须予以考虑。  相似文献

混凝土受拉本构行为存在很强的局部软化现象,使得单轴受拉试验无法给出应力-应变关系,而只能给出应力-位移关系。本文根据内变量理论和等效应变假设建立了基于真实应变的混凝土单轴受力本构方程,并根据Weibull分布可以描述混凝土等脆性材料断裂过程的试验现象,建立了关于弹性应变的损伤演化规律。然后,通过假设平均应变与真实弹性应变的函数关系,在应力-平均应变的本构关系中采用平均弹性应变以描述其非局部行为,而在材料的损伤演化规律中采用真实弹性应变以描述其局部行为,由此建立了单轴受拉荷载条件下的非局部本构模型。最后,对一个单调受拉试验和一个反复受拉试验的仿真结果表明所提出的非局部本构模型可以准确地模拟试验结果。  相似文献

A new stress resultant constitutive model for reinforced concrete plates under cyclic solicitations is presented. This model is built by the periodic homogenisation approach using the averaging method and couples damage of concrete and periodic debonding between concrete and steel rebar. In one-dimensional situations, we derive a closed-form solution of the local problem useful to verify and set up the plate problem. The one dimensional macroscopic constitutive model involves a limited number of parameters, the sensibility of which is studied. Comparison to experimental results underlines the pertinence of the model by considering internal debonding in order to properly represent the mechanical dissipation occurring during cyclic loadings on reinforced concrete panels.  相似文献

This paper aims to develop a multiaxial concrete model for implementation in finite element software dedicated to the analysis of structures in fire. The need for proper concrete model remains a challenging task in structural fire engineering because of the complexity of the concrete mechanical behavior characterization and the severe requirements for the material models raised by the development of performance-based design. A fully three-dimensional model is developed based on the combination of elastoplasticity and damage theories. The state of damage in concrete, assumed isotropic, is modeled by means of a fourth order damage tensor to capture the unilateral effect. The concrete model comprises a limited number of parameters that can be identified by three simple tests at ambient temperature. At high temperatures, a generic transient creep model is included to take into account explicitly the effect of transient creep strain. The numerical implementation of the concrete model in a finite element software is presented and a series of numerical simulations are conducted for validation. The concrete behavior is accurately captured in a large range of temperature and stress states. A limitation appears when modeling the concrete post-peak behavior in highly confined stress states, due to the coupling assumption between damage and plasticity, but the considered levels of triaxial confinement are unusual stress states in structural concrete.  相似文献

A cohesive interface modeling approach to debonding analysis of adhesively bonded interface between two balanced adjacent flexural cracks in conventional material (e.g., concrete or wood) beams strengthened with externally bonded FRP plates is presented. Both the strengthened beam and strengthening FRP are modeled as two linearly elastic Euler–Bernoulli beams bonded together through a thin adhesive layer. A bi-linear cohesive model, which is commonly used in the literature, is adopted to characterize the stress-deformation relationship of the FRP–concrete interface. Completely different from the single-lap or double-shear pull models in which only the axial pull force is considered, the present model takes the couple moment and transverse shear forces in both the substrates into account to study the second type of intermediate crack-induced debonding (IC debonding) along the interface. The whole debonding process of the FRP–concrete interface is discussed in detail, and closed-form solutions of bond slip, interface shear stress, and axial force of FRP in different stages are obtained. A rotational spring model is introduced at locations of the two adjacent flexural cracks to model the local flexibility of the cracked concrete beam, with which the relationship between the local bond slip and externally applied load is established and the real bond failure process of the FRP-plated concrete beam with the increasing of the externally applied load is revealed. Parametric studies are further conducted to investigate the effect of the thickness of adhesive layer on the bond behavior of FRP–concrete interface. The present closed-form solution and analysis on the local bond slip versus applied load relationship for the second type of IC debonding along the interface shed light on the bond failure process of structures externally strengthened with FRP composite plates and can be used effectively and efficiently to predict ductility and ultimate load of FRP-strengthened structures.  相似文献
