Abstract

We classify the C 2 × C 2-gradings on M 2(k), k an arbitrary field. If char(k) ≠ 2 our approach relies on the duality between gradings and actions for finite abelian groups, and if k is algebraically closed we find precisely one isomorphism type of grading which is not isomorphic to a grading with all the matrix units being homogeneous elements. If char(k) = 2 we use a computational approach and we find that any C 2 × C 2-grading is induced by a C 2-grading.  相似文献

Let R be a ring and 𝒲 a self-orthogonal class of left R-modules which is closed under finite direct sums and direct summands. A complex C of left R-modules is called a 𝒲-complex if it is exact with each cycle Z n (C) ∈ 𝒲. The class of such complexes is denoted by 𝒞𝒲. A complex C is called completely 𝒲-resolved if there exists an exact sequence of complexes D · = … → D ?1 → D 0 → D 1 → … with each term D i in 𝒞𝒲 such that C = ker(D 0 → D 1) and D · is both Hom(𝒞𝒲, ?) and Hom(?, 𝒞𝒲) exact. In this article, we show that C = … → C ?1 → C 0 → C 1 → … is a completely 𝒲-resolved complex if and only if C n is a completely 𝒲-resolved module for all n ∈ ?. This papers contains two results concerning random n × n Bernoulli matrices. First, we show that with probability tending to 1 the determinant has absolute value . In this article we apply a method devised in Hartwig, Larsson, and Silvestrov (2006 Hartwig , J. T. , Larsson , D. , Silvestrov , S. D. ( 2006 ). Deformations of Lie algebras using σ-derivations . J. Quasi-hom-Lie algebras, Central extensions and 2-cocycle-like identities. J. Algebra 288:321344.[Crossref], [Web of Science ®] [Google Scholar]) to the simple 3-dimensional Lie algebra 𝔰𝔩2(𝔽). One of the main points of this deformation method is that the deformed algebra comes endowed with a canonical twisted Jacobi identity. We show in the present article that when our deformation scheme is applied to 𝔰𝔩2(𝔽) we can, by choosing parameters suitably, deform 𝔰𝔩2(𝔽) into the Heisenberg Lie algebra and some other 3-dimensional Lie algebras in addition to more exotic types of algebras, this being in stark contrast to the classical deformation schemes where 𝔰𝔩2(𝔽) is rigid.  相似文献

We introduce one special form of the ptimesp × 2 (p≥2) tensors by multilinear orthonormal transformations, and present some interesting properties of the special form. Through discussing on the special form, we provide a solution to one conjecture proposed by Stegeman and Comon in a conference paper (Proceedings of the EUSIPCO 2009 Conference, Glasgow, Scotland, 2009), and reveal an important conclusion about subtracting a best rank‐1 approximations from p × p × 2 tensors of the special form. All of these confirm that consecutively subtracting the best rank‐1 approximations may not lead to a best low rank approximation of a tensor. Numerical examples show the correctness of our theory. In this paper, we introduce new modifications of Szász–Mirakyan operators based on (p,q)‐integers. We first give a recurrence relation for the moments of new operators and present explicit formula for the moments and central moments up to order 4. Some approximation properties of new operators are explored: the uniform convergence over bounded and unbounded intervals is established, direct approximation properties of the operators in terms of the moduli of smoothness is obtained and Voronovskaya theorem is presented. We suppose that the columns of Φ are normalized to the unit ??2‐norm, and we place uniform measure on such Φ. We prove the existence of ρ = ρ(τ) > 0 so that for large n and for all Φ's except a negligible fraction, the following property holds: For every y having a representation y = Φx0 by a coefficient vector x0 ∈ ?m with fewer than ρ · n nonzeros, the solution x1 of the ??1‐minimization problem is unique and equal to x0. In contrast, heuristic attempts to sparsely solve such systems—greedy algorithms and thresholding—perform poorly in this challenging setting. The compressible barotropic Navier–Stokes system in monodimensional case with a Neumann boundary condition given on a free boundary is considered. The global existence with uniformly boundedness for large initial data and a positive force is proved. In this paper, we consider the dynamical von Kármán equations of memory type with acoustic boundary conditions. We show an exponential decay result of solutions under weaker assumption than the ones frequently used in the literature.
