The room-temperature spin wave spectrum has been investigated in Mn1.7Fe1.3O4 by means of inelastic neutron scattering. The acoustical branch could be obtained in the symmetry directions. Values for the effective exchange parameters JAR and JRR have been derived. Some acoustical phonon branches could also be observed and the elastic constants C44 and (C11C12) were estimated.  相似文献

In Yb3Fe5O12, the exchange effective field can be expressed as Heff=−λ·MFe=−λχeff·He=−γ·He where γ is named as the exchange field parameter and He is the external magnetic field. Then, in this paper, by the discussions on the characteristics of the exchange field parameter γ, the properties of exchange interaction in ytterbium iron garnet (Yb3Fe5O12) are analyzed under extreme conditions (high magnetic fields and low temperatures). Our theory suggests that the exchange field parameter γ is the function of the temperatures under different external magnetic fields, and γ=a+b·T+c·T2, where the coefficients a, b, c are associated with the external magnetic fields and the magnetized directions. Thus, the temperature-dependence, field-dependence and anisotropic characteristics of the exchange interaction in Yb3Fe5O12 are revealed. Also, excellent fits to the available experiments are obtained.  相似文献

Ferromagnetic resonance experiments on thin epitaxial films of Y2.85La0.15Fe3.75Ga1.25O12, grown by a vertical dipping technique, provide strong evidence for stratification of these films. Perpendicular resonance spectra recorded after etching off the magnetic film step by step show resonances due to six strata in 4 μm thick films. Of each stratum the thickness has been determined as well as the magnetic anisotropy. It is found that the layer next to the interface is 0.4 μm thick and has a strongly negative Ku (KuM = -400 Oe). Strata remote from the substrate are 1 μm thick and have a positive Ku (KuM ≈ + 150 Oe).  相似文献

The magneto-optical Kerr effects (MOKE) of epitaxial Y3Fe5O12/Gd3Ga5O12 (YIG/GGG) garnet superlattices grown on (1 1 1)GGG previously by pulsed laser deposition (PLD) were measured. A series of superlattices were investigated with the thickness of the ferrimagnetic YIG layer varied from six unit cells to only one unit cell while keeping the Curie paramagnetic GGG fixed at one unit cell. It was demonstrated that the ellipsometric technique employing photoelastic modulators (PEM) is sensitive enough to measure the MOKE signals of these ultrathin oxide samples. The Curie temperatures, determined by MOKE, are fit with a power law, yielding a shift exponent λ = 3.1 ± 1.2.  相似文献

采用固相反应法制备了SrMn0.5Fe0.5O3陶瓷样品,并对样品的晶体结构,磁性和离子价态进行了系统的表征与分析. X射线衍射谱的Rietveld拟合表明样品属于理想的立方钙钛矿型结构,Mn离子和Fe离子随机占据B位的O八面体中心. X射线光电子能谱表明Mn离子为+3和+4的混合原子价态,Fe离子为+3价. 样品在大于230K的高温区域呈现Curie顺磁特性,在小于230 K的低温区域样品表现出自旋玻璃态行为,这种特性源于Mn离子和Fe离子之间的交换作用及自身价态和分布的不均匀性. 由于Fe3+离子占据O八面体的中心,对顺磁区的Mssbauer谱测量表现为四级分裂.  相似文献

Nanostructured ferroxide particles with initial formula Ni0.5Zn0.5Fe2O4 are investigated. The aim was to explore the monodomain and the superparamagnetic states of the ferrospinel and the impact of the surface magnetic disorder on the magnetization processes. Mössbauer spectroscopy (MöS) demonstrated that the ion distribution follows the general formula (Zn0.5Fe0.5)A[Ni0.5Fe1.5]BO4, where A is the tetrahedral and B, the octahedral sublattice. MöS in an external magnetic field (5 T) at 4.2 K shows non-collinearity of the sublattices’ magnetic moments and deviations in the hyperfine magnetic field that could be related to a canting effect. Magnetic measurements were applied to characterize the temperature behavior of the magnetic properties and the a.c. complex magnetic susceptibility.  相似文献

A magnetic multi-walled carbon nanotubes-based (MWCNTs-based) composite, MWCNTs/Ni0.5Zn0.5Fe2O4, was synthesized via a facile solvothermal approach. The composites were characterized by X-ray diffraction analysis, transmission electron microscopy (TEM), high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM), and vibrating sample magnetometry. The results confirmed that MWCNTs and Ni0.5Zn0.5Fe2O4 coexisted in the composites. The TEM and HRTEM results showed a thick layer of Ni0.5Zn0.5Fe2O4 was intimately connected to the surface of MWCNTs. The saturation magnetization value of the composites was 45.8 emu/g. Furthermore, the probable synthesis mechanism of the magnetic composites was also investigated based on the experimental results.  相似文献

NiZn ferrite/polyvinylpyrrolidone composite fibres were prepared by sol–gel assisted electrospinning.Ni0.5Zn0.5Fe2O4 nanofibres with a pure cubic spinel structure were obtained subsequently by calcination of the composite fibres at high temperatures.This paper investigates the thermal decomposition process,structures and morphologies of the electrospun composite fibres and the calcined Ni0.5Zn0.5Fe2O4 nanofibres at different temperatures by thermogravimetric and differential thermal analysis,x-ray diffraction,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and field emission scanning electron microscopy.The magnetic behaviour of the resultant nanofibres was studied by a vibrating sample magnetometer.It is found that the grain sizes of the nanofibres increase significantly and the nanofibre morphology gradually transforms from a porous structure to a necklace-like nanostructure with the increase of calcination temperature.The Ni0.5Zn0.5Fe2O4 nanofibres obtained at 1000 C for 2 h are characterized by a necklace-like morphology and diameters of 100–200 nm.The saturation magnetization of the random Ni0.5Zn0.5Fe2O4 nanofibres increases from 46.5 to 90.2 emu/g when the calcination temperature increases from 450 to 1000 C.The coercivity reaches a maximum value of 11.0 kA/m at a calcination temperature of 600 C.Due to the shape anisotropy,the aligned Ni0.5Zn0.5Fe2O4 nanofibres exhibit an obvious magnetic anisotropy and the ease magnetizing direction is parallel to the nanofibre axis.  相似文献

The simulation of magnetic properties in extended quantum spin networks can be done in good conditions with Ising models within Monte Carlo–Metropolis algorithms, as our systematic studies, employing original computer codes, proved. The present analysis provides interesting insights into the exchange interactions governing the magnetic behavior of the Gd3Fe5O12 system, taken as a prototype for ferrites with garnet structure. Effective exchange interaction parameters are estimated by fitting the computed with experimental compensation temperature and temperature dependence of the magnetization.  相似文献

The luminescence excitation spectra, emission spectra under photo- and X-ray excitation, luminescence decay kinetics and thermostimulated luminescence (TSL) of Gd3Ga5O12 garnet (GGG) polycrystalline samples have been investigated. It was established that the spectrum of Cr3+ ion emission were present in all TSL peaks. The activation energies of traps that are responsible for appearance of TSL in the region 295-600 K were estimated. It is shown that delocalization of electrons from the Cr3+e traps leads to the appearance of thermoluminescence (TL) glow peak at 390 K. The nature of other TSL peaks is discussed. The influence of visible light on the TSL intensity of the preliminary X-ray-irradiated samples is shown.  相似文献

Mono-disperse spinel Ni0.5Zn0.5Fe2O4 nanosized particles have been synthesized via a hydrothermal method at low temperature. X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscope (TEM) and high-resolution transmission electron microscope (HRTEM) analysis indicated that the synthesized nanocrystals were of pure cubic spinel structure with the size about 6-20 nm. The activation energy of grain growth is 35.06 kJ/mol experimented by the Arrhenius equation. A primary experimental model was put forward to shed light on the growth mechanism of crystallined spinel Ni-Zn ferrite nanosized particles under hydrothermal conditions. The magnetic measurements shows that the prepared Ni0.5Zn0.5Fe2O4 nanoparticle possess good superparamagnetic behavior.  相似文献

Nanocrystalline Zn0.5Mn0.5Fe2O4 was synthesized through the pyrolysis of polyacrylate salt precursors prepared via in situ polymerization of the metal salts and acrylic acid. The pyrolysis behavior of the polymeric precursors was studied by use of thermal analysis. The as-obtained product was characterized by powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscope (TEM), electron diffraction (ED) pattern, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and electron dispersive X-ray (EDX) analysis. The results revealed that the particle size is in the range of 15–25 nm for Zn-Mn ferrites with good crystallinity. Magnetic properties of the sample at 300 K were measured using a vibrating sample magnetometer, which showed that the sample exhibited characteristics of superparamagnetism.  相似文献

Zero field cooled dc-magnetization measurements of monodispersed Mn0.5Zn0.5Fe2O4 nanoparticles dispersed in kerosene exhibit two transitions at low temperatures. These transitions correspond to (i) the superparamagnetic to blocked superparamagnetic and (ii) the blocked superparamagnetic to surface spin-glass like/quantum superparamagnetic state upon lowering the temperature. The existence of a disorder surface is confirmed by recording small-angle neutron scattering data below and above the Curie temperature. Magnetic relaxation analysis shows a plateau at low temperature (below 5 K) with a slight minimum at 3 K, which is a characteristic of the surface spin-glass-like state. This is analyzed considering the energy distribution n(E)∼1/E. The existence of surface disorder dominates at low temperature and mimics the transition from superparamagnetic to quantum superparamagnetic states.  相似文献

The X-ray Debye temperatures, θ M , of spinel ferrite composition Ni0.5Zn0.5Fe2O4, mechanically milled upto 9 hrs, were determined from integrated intensities of selected Bragg reflections. The θ M was found to increase with milling time. The results are explained in the light of milling induced grain orientation and surface effect. The values of θ M were found to be lower as compared to the Debye temperatures obtained from infrared spectral data analysis. The difference can be explained on the basis of increase in an excess free volume in the form of vacancies and vacancy clusters associated with grain boundaries.  相似文献

The effect of Mn2+Co2+Ti4+ substitution on microwave absorption has been studied for BaCo0.5Mn0.5Ti1.0Fe10O19 ferrite-acrylic resin composites in frequency range from 12 to 20 GHz. X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM), vibrating sample magnetometer, AC susceptometer and vector network analyzer were used to analyze the structural, magnetic and microwave absorption properties. The results showed that the magnetoplumbite structures for all samples have been formed. Based on microwave measurement on reflectivity, BaCo0.5Mn0.5Ti1.0Fe10O19 may be a good candidate for electromagnetic compatibility and other practical applications at high frequency.  相似文献

A jump like magnetic transition is observed at relatively weak field in Tb3Fe5O12 when the magnetic field is applied along the hard axis and no transition is observed with the field applied along the easy axis. We believe that this evolution is related to the ”Umbrella” type magnetic structure known to exist in Tb3Fe5O12 at low temperatures.  相似文献
