Energy levels in 119Sn up to 4.75 MeV excitation have been studied with the 118Sn(d, p)119Sn reaction at an incident deuteron energy of 17 MeV. The scattered particles were analysed by a magnetic spectrograph and detected in nuclear emulsions with a resolution of ≈ 9 keV. Seventyseven energy levels were identified. Angular distributions were compared to DWBA predictions allowing the identification of transferred angular momenta and the determination of spectroscopic factors for 49 states. The results obtained are compared with pairing theory and the weakcoupling model.  相似文献

Mean lifetimes of levels in 18F have been measured using the Doppler-shift attenuation method and the inverse reaction 3He(16O, p)18F. Targets of 3He implanted into Al, Nb, and Au foils were employed in the measurements. The Doppler-broadened lineshapes observed at 0° to the beam were analyzed to obtain the following lifetime values: 0.971 ± 0.030, 0.605 ± 0.029 and 0.435 ± 0.041 ps for the 1.70(1+), 2.52(2+) and 3.36(3+)MeV members of the Kπ = 1+ rotational band, 5.12 ± 0.56, 0.403 ± 0.018 and 1.91 ± 0.17 ps for the 2.10(2?), 3.13(1?) and 3.79(3?) MeV members of the Kπ = 0? bands, and 〈1.2, 2.7+4.1?2.7 and 20 ± 2 fs for the 3.06(2+, T = 1), 3.72(1+) and 3.84(2+) MeV states, respectively.  相似文献

Coulomb excitation of the nucleus 115Sn was studied with beams of 4He and 16O. Level energies, spins, mean-lives and B(E2) and B(M1) transition probabilities were obtained. Spin 32+ states were observed at 497.35 and 1280.08 keV and spin 52+ states were observed at 986.54 and 1416.78 keV. A state of 612.79 keV was observed to be indirectly excited by decay of the Coulomb excited states. Eleven B(E2) values and nine B(M1) values were obtained for the transitions between the low-lying states. In contrast to previous particle transfer results which suggested a clear distinction between shell-model and collective 32+ and 52+ states, our results suggest the collective strength is shared by the two 32+ and two 52+ states.  相似文献

The mass excess of the Tz = 3 nucleus 40Cl has been determined using the 40Ar(7Li, 7Be)40Cl reaction. A value ?27.527 ± 0.035 MeV was obtained. A number of excited states of 40Cl were a1so observed. In addition, the 40Ar(11B, 11C)40Cl and 40Ar(11B, 13N)38S reactions were investigated. Excited states of 38S were observed at 1.28 ± 0.04 and 3.38 ± 0.10 MeV.  相似文献

The isotopes 107Sn and 107In were produced through the 106Cd(3He, 2n)107Sn and 106Cd(3He, pn)107In reactions. They were studied by means of γ-spectroscopy, excitation functions, γγ coincidences and angular distributions of γ-rays. A level scheme is proposed for the newly discovered 107Sn, and new states belonging to 107In are given. Microscopic calculations have been performed in a three-quasiparticle approximation for a large number of tin isotopes in order to get a wide view of the systematic evolution of the various states.  相似文献

The quadrupole interaction frequencies ω0 = 3eQ1Vzz41(21-1) h? in the 5? state of 118Sn have been measured by time differential perturbed angular correlation technique in Sn, Sb and (95% Sn+5% Sb) environments. The ω0 for 116Sn was determined in Sn environment only. With the help of the known electric field gradient 1) of Sn in a Sn lattice the quadrupole moments have been deduced as Q(5?, 118Sn) = ±0.10(4) b and Q(5?, 116Sn) = ±0.165(60) b. These values together with the known2) quadrupole moment of the analogous 5? state in 120Sn are interpreted in terms of the pure single-particle model. The data exhibit the expected strong systematic variation of QI with the number of particles in the h112. subshell which is being filled with 1, 3 and 5 neutrons in 116Sn, 118Sn, and 120Sn, respectively.  相似文献

The 0 level structure of 188Os has been investigated by the 189Os(d, t)188Os reaction using a broad range magnetic spectrograph, and the properties of the 188Os levels populated in the decay of 188Ir have been re-examined. The (d, t) results yield new information about the location of two-neutron excitations in 188Os involving the 32[512] orbital. Since the 188Os ground state contains admixtures of both K = 32and K = 12 character, cross-section formulae for single-neutron transfer from a target state which is not pure in K are considered, and it is found that rather small K = 12 admixtures in the 189Os ground state give rise to striking interference effects, which are manifested in the experimental (d, t) cross sections into the members of the 188Os ground state band. The consequences of the mixed character of the target state on the (d, t) population of members of the Kπ = 2+ γ-vibration and of higher-lying two-quasiparticle bands are also discussed.  相似文献

The 112Sn(p, p') reaction was studied at proton energies of 20.51 and 25.0 MeV. The outgoing protons were momentum analysed with an Enge split-pole spectrograph and recorded with position-sensitive solid-state detectors with a total resolution between 10 and 15 keV. Excitation energies and angular distributions for states below 5.5 MeV excitation energy were obtained. The angular distributions were compared with macroscopic DWBA calculations in order to extract L-values and deformation parameters. Coupled-channels calculations were performed to investigate two-phonon excitations and the mixing between one- and two-phonon states. The results of the present experiment are compared with previous experimental results and with number-projected BCS calculations. The results for some of the excited states were compared with similar results for the other even Sn isotopes.  相似文献

The experimentally determined energy levels and transition probabilities are compared with comprehensive shell-model calculations using the full neutron single-hole configuration space. The γ-ray spectra associated with the decay of 59.3 min 128Sn have been measured with Ge(Li) detectors. In order to recognize γ-rays of 128Sn and 128mSb, the decay and/or growth of γ-rays emitted from a tin sample separated chemically from fission products were measured. The decay of 128Sn is followed by the intense Sb X-rays and 32.1, 45.8, 75.1, 80.9, 115.9, 152.6, 404.4, 482.3, 557.3 and 680.2 keV γ-rays. On the basis of the measured singles and γ-γ coincidence spectra and the analysis of intensities of true sum peaks, a new decay scheme has been constructed. The 10.0 min isomer in 128Sb decays by β-emission (96.4%) to excited levels in 128Te and by an isomeric transition (3.6 %) to the 9.1 h ground state.  相似文献

Excitation functions have been measured for a number of (40Ar, xn), (40Ar, pxn), (40Ar, 2pxn), and (40Ar, 3pxn) reactions induced in 118Sn, 121Sb and 127I over the lab. energy interval 150–280 MeV. Values of the total fusion cross section are obtained and Jcrit is deduced. The value of Jcrit increases with energy and becomes as large as 110–140?, in reasonable agreement with the yrast limit deduced from the ellipsoidal liquid drop model. The competition between proton and neutron emission from the compound nucleus is examined and ΓpΓn is found to increase rapidly with the number of emitted nucleons, thereby imposing severe limits on the production of very neutron deficient miclides via compound nuclear reactions. The effect of very high angular momentum on the excitation functions is examined.  相似文献

The half-life of 53Co(g.s.) was measured by observing its positron emission following the 39K.( 16O, 2n) reaction induced by a chopped 16O beam. The contributions to the half-life of positrons from competing reaction products were considered. The final spin distribution and the isomeric ratio values for 53mCo53Co(g.s.) and 53mFe53Fe(g.s.) were calculated by the spindependent nuclear evaporation model and found to be different, the former much smaller than the latter. The 53mFe53Fe(g.s.) isomeric ratios were measured for 39K.+ 16O as well as for 40C + 16O reactions and were found to be in agreement with the above theoretical prediction. On the basis of the smallness of the calculated 53mCo53Co(g.s.) ratio, the half-life of 53Co(g.s.) was determined to be T12 = 262 ± 25 ms.  相似文献

The level structure of 225Ra has been studied using the (d, t) reaction with both unpolarised and polarised deuterons and the β? decay of 225Fr. Cross sections and excitation energies have been measured for 41 levels below 1800 keV in the (d, t) reaction, and levels up to 724 keV have been established from the β? decay measurements. The structure of the nuclei 71As and 73As has been investigated by studying the decay of 71Se, 73gSe and 73mSe, the 72Ge(p, 2nγ)71As reaction, the 73Ge(p, nγ)73As reaction and the 72Ge(3He, d) 73As reaction. Level schemes of 71As and 73As are constructed on basis of the energies and intensities of the gamma transitions and their coincidence relations. Spins and parities are deduced from log ft values, l-values and the decay properties of the excited states. The measured half-life of the lowest excited state in 71As is T12 = 59 ± 10 ns. The experimental level-schemes are compared with the predictions of the cluster-vibrational coupling model.  相似文献

The spectroscopic quadrupole moment of the isomeric 6+' (2552 keV) state of 117Sn has been derived from TDPAD measurements in a Cd metal host target at 500 K as QI (6+, 112Sn) = ± 0.29(6) b. The calibration of the effective field gradient for Sn in Cd at 500 K, given by Herrlander et al. has been used. A comparison of the results with shell model estimates makes a mixed configuration of |(g72)?26+〉) and (g72?1d52?1)6+〉) for the 6+ state most likely.  相似文献

The γ-ray decay spectrum of 82 s 59Cu produced by the 58Ni(p, γ) 59Cu reaction has been studied with a 40 cm3 Ge(Li) detector. The number of γ-rays now known for this decay has more than doubled. Additional direct β+ branches to the 1679.7(52?), 2414.8(32?) and 2681 keV states of 59Ni have been identified with log ft values of 5.5, 5.5 and 6.0, respectively. A major change is the reassignment of the 1340.4 keV γ-ray to a 1679.7 → 339.3 keV transition. A limit of log ft ≧ 6.9 is given for the direct feeding of the 1337(72?) keV state, together with limits for direct population of other energetically available states. The new weak γ-ray branches found for the 878.0, 1301.5 and 1679.7 keV levels are in excellent agreement with the recent theoretical calculations of Glaudemans et al.  相似文献

The excited states of 142Nd were studied by means of the decay of 40 sec 142Pm and the 142Nd(p, p') reaction via isobaric analog resonances. Approximately sixty levels of 142Nd were observed below 5.3 MeV excitation, including several neutron particle-hole states excited strongly in (p, p') at f72, p32, p12 and f52 analog resonances. We have collected together all known energy levels in 142Nd and have proposed Jπ assignments for 22 excited states. We have also compared the experimental level spectrum (positive-parity states only) with a calculated one based on the shell model.  相似文献

Levels in 42Ti up to 4 MeV have been investigated using the 40Ca(3He, n)42Ti reaction and a neutron time-of-flight method. Using the DSA method, lifetimes of 750±300, > 200, 350±250, > 2000 and < 250 fs have been measured for levels at Ex = 1.56, 1.85, 2.40, 2.68 and 3.74 MeV respectively. The level at Ex = 3043.0±1.5 keV is tentatively identified as the 6+ member of the (f72)2 configuration, and its mean life has been measured as 26±5 ns by a direct timing method. Using isospin formalism, transition strengths are compared with theoretical and experimental values for 42Ca and 42Sc.  相似文献
