Energy levels in 42Ca up to 7.8 MeV have been studied in the neutron capture reaction 41Ca(d, p)42Ca with 12 MeV bombarding energy. Ninety-four excited states have been identified and angular distributions have been measured in the interval from 5° to 110° by means of a broad-range magnetic spectrograph. The angular distributions together with DW calculations have been used to determine In values and spectroscopic factors. The f72 strength sum agrees with shell-model expectations if the f72 spectroscopic factors are renormalized by 10.75, in line with other f72. transfer experiments on 40Ca and 41Ca. A similar renormalization of the ln = 1 spectroscopic factors brings this strength sum in accordance with the shell-model calculations. The effective (f722) matrix elements for 42Ca are compared with the corresponding matrix elements of 42Sc and 48Sc. The differences between the three sets of matrix elements are of the order of a few hundred keV or less. The monopole centroid energy of the (f72)2 multiplet is shifted downwards in the mass-42 nuclei compared to 48Sc, possibly indicating the importance of the monopole pairing force near 40Ca.  相似文献

Energy levels in 40Ca up to 10.2 MeV have been studied in the neutron pickup reaction 41Ca(τ, α)40Ca with 20 MeV bombarding energy. Thirty excited states have been identified and angular distributions have been measured in the interval from 5° to 40° by means of a split-pole magnetic spectrometer. The angular distributions together with DW calculations have been used to extract ln values and spectroscopic factors. The ln = 2 strength distribution for the f72d32?1 particle-hole levels is compared to the lp = 3 strength distribution from pr stripping data.  相似文献

A formulation of the (6Li, 6He) spin-isospin-flip scattering problem is presented. The method is applicable to quasielastic collisions between6Li described in pureLS coupling scheme and any target nucleus which can be described in a shell model or an adiabatic deformed-nucleus model picture. The effective interaction responsible for the (6Li, 6He) reaction involves an integration of the (σ1 · σ2) (ρ1 · ρ2) compo nent of the central part and the (τ1· τ2) tensor part of the nucleon-nucleon interaction over the internal wave function of the projectile. The 48Ca(6Li,6He)48Sc reaction populating the (πf72νf72?1) multiplet in 48Sc is analysed. It that the tensor force makes some contribution to the transitions to high spin states.  相似文献

The g-factor of the [π(2p12)1v(2d52)1]2? state in92Nb(τ = 6.2 μsec) was determined by means of perturbed angular distribution methods using the 92Zr(p, n)92Nb reaction in a liquid alloy. The extracted v(d52) magnetic moment is discussed in terms of the core-polarization effect.  相似文献

The time-differential perturbed angular distribution method was used to determine the g-factors of the (f72)3192? states in 43Ti and 43Sc. The results for the mass 43 mirror pair are: 43Ti: g = 0.760 ± 0.001, T12, = 560 ± 6 ns, 43Sc: g = 0.3286± 0.0007, T12 = 473 ± 5 ns. Considering in addition the magnetic moments in A = 41 and 42, it is suggested that the deformed states considered by Johnstone and Castel and by Erikson are responsible for the observed large deviations from the Schmidt values.  相似文献

We report the evidence for a narrow charged peak (5.5 s.d.), which we suggest calling the I, in the 6-prong-V0 topology of pp interactions at 12 GeV/c. The magnetic hyperfine splitting νM = |NBHF/h| of 175Ta (Jπ = 72+; T12 = 10.5 h) in Fe has been measured with the technique of nuclear magnetic resonance on oriented nuclei as 320.4(1) MHz. With the known hyperfine field BHF(TaFe) = ?648(13)kG the magnetic moment of the 72+[404] ground state of 175Ta is deduced to be ¦μ¦ = 2.27(5)μN.  相似文献

The reactions d + p → τ + π0 and d + p → τ + η0 were studied using the missing-mass method for incident deuteron momenta between 2.8 and 3.8 GeVc. The angular distributions show a peak in the forward direction (θτ1 = 0°) and are flat in the backward direction. The differential cross sections at θτ1 = 180° for both reactions show a maximum for total center-of-mass energies near 3.46 GeV.  相似文献

A magnetic dipole core polarization was studied by investigating a magnetic moment of the 1117 keV 1h112 single-proton state in 141Pr. The 139La(α, 2nγ)141Pr reaction was used to populate the 1h112 state with spin aligned in a plane perpendicular to the beam axis. The magnetic moment was obtained by measuring perturbed angular distributions of the 972 keV gamma rays from the 1h112 state. The g-factor of the 1h112 state in 141Pr was determined to be g = 1.30 ± 0.08. The isovector spin g-factor was deduced from the present result and the data for 1h112. neutron states. It is gs?effgs?free = 0.45 ± 0.1. The reduction is explaine spin-isospin (M1) core polarization.The isovector M1 core polarization factor (nuclear M1 susceptibility) is found to be one third of the M2 core polarization factor (nuclear M2 susceptibility) for the 1h112 state.  相似文献

The 58Ni(τ, α)57Ni reaction has been studied at 25 MeV incident energy. Angular distributions have been measured from 5° to 50° with a split-pole spectrometer up to 13.5 MeV excitation energy. A local zero-range DWBA analysis has been carried out, allowing l-assignments for about eighty levels, most of them previously unknown. An isospin-dependent potential has been used in the calculation of the neutron form factor for both T<and T> states, and the C2S values deduced using this procedure are compared to those obtained with the usual separation energy method. Analog states of eleven 57Co levels have been identified and the eventuality for isospin mixing in 57Ni has been discussed. A sum rule analysis has been carried out and energy centroids of hole states have been determined. About 60% of the 1d52and 2s12T< strengths and the full 1d32 and 1f72 hole strengths are observed. It is shown that the two excess neutrons in the 58Ni ground state mainly populate the 2p32, 1f52and 2p12 orbitals, whereas the occupancy number of the 1g92 subshell is found to be smaller than 0.1%. Some non-pickup angular distributions have also been observed and a CRC analysis assuming two-step processes in the (τ, α) reaction and weak-coupling wave functions for final states has been attempted. Assignments of Jπ values are proposed for four 57Ni levels, based on this analysis.  相似文献

The atomic beam magnetic resonance method combined with laser-induced state- and isotopeselective detection of metastable atoms has been used to investigate the hyperfine structure of the 2D ground multiplet in 175Lu and 176Lu. The analysis of the data yields not only accurate values for the hyperfine interaction constants, the nuclear magnetic dipole moment of 175Lu, and the electronic gJ, factors, but also the first directly measured value of the nuclear magnetic dipole moment of the low abundant isotope 176Lu: μI(176Lu) = 3.1692 (45)μN (corrected for diamagnetic shielding). The spectroscopic quadrupole moment of 176Lu was calculated from the ratio of the B-factors and the quadrupole moment of 175Lu: Qs(176Lu) = 4.92 (3) b. Moreover, the magnetic hyperfine anomalies for the isotopic chain 175,176,176m,177Lu were determined. A quadrupole hyperfine anomaly between 175Lu and 176Lu was not found when comparing the ratio of the B-factors in the states 2D32and2D52. From a comparison of the quadrupole moment of 175Lu obtained from the hyperfine structure data and the quadrupole moment measured in muonic lutetium atoms semi-empirical Sternheimer shielding factors could be estimated.  相似文献

The magnetic hyperfine splitting vM=|gμNBHF/h| of 196mAu (jπ=12?; configuration ¦(π112(v132+)〉12?; T12 = 9.7 h) as dilute impurity in Ni has been determined with nuclear magnetic resonance on oriented nuclei as 96.0(2) MHz. With the known hyperfine field BHF = ?264.4(3.9) kG corrected for hyperfine anomalies the g-factor and magnetic moment of 196mAu are deduced to be |g| = 0.476(7) and |μ| = 5.72(8) μN. Taking into account the known magnetic properties of π12? and v132+ isomeric states in the neighbouring odd Pt, Au and Hg nuclei the structure of the 12? state is discussed.  相似文献

Relative emission intensities of sixteen bands of HCl+ (A2Σ+ - X2Πi), four bands of DCl+ (A2Σ+ - X2Πi), and 5 bands of HBr+ (A2Σ - X2Πi) have been made using both ion-beam excitation and microwave discharge sources. Intensities were determined by comparison with computer-generated spectra. Treatment of the data within the r-centroid approximation shows that in HCl+ the electronic transition moment decreases strongly at large rv′v″ [Re α exp (?3.6rv′v″) for 1.44 A? < rv′v″ < 1.82 A?] but levels off at shorter rv′v″. DCl+ data agree quantitatively with HCl+. The variation in the HBr+ moment is similar, with Re α exp[?4.5 rv′v″] for 1.58 A? < rv′v″ < 1.78 A?.  相似文献

Lifetime and g-factor measurements have been made with pulsed beam-γ time-differential techniques using the 89Y(α, 2n)91Nb and 88Sr(α, n)91Zr reactions. A mean lifetime τ = 14.4 ± 0.5 nsec and a g-factor of 1.26 ± 0.04 were obtained for the 132? 1985 keV level in 91Nb and τ = 41.9 ± 1.2 nsec and g = 0.70 ± 0.01 were obtained for the 152? 2288 keV level in 91Zr. These results are compared to theoretical calculations for g92)2p12) and g92)(πp12)(vd52) configurations in 91Nb and 91Zr, respectively.  相似文献

A diode laser spectrometer (resolution 0.0013 cm?1) was used to record, in the 12-μm region, high-quality spectra of the ν2 band of NO2. Using these spectra, it was possible to obtain the N2-broadening coefficients and an average self-broadening coefficient from measurements made for seven lines of this band. In addition, 30 single spin-component line intensities were measured. From them, through a least-squares fit, the purely vibrational transition moment of the ν2 band, as well as two correcting rotational terms involved in the expansion of the transition moment operator, were obtained. These results led to the determination of the dipole moment derivative x?q2 = ?0.06041 ± 0.0037 D. It was also demonstrated that there is good consistency between the correcting terms deduced from the observed intensities and their theoretical estimates. Finally, a complete spectrum of the ν2 band of NO2 was computed, providing a total band intensity Sv(ν2) = 0.542 × 10?18cm?1/molecule cm?2 at 296 K.  相似文献

The quadrupole interaction frequencies ω0 = 3eQ1Vzz41(21-1) h? in the 5? state of 118Sn have been measured by time differential perturbed angular correlation technique in Sn, Sb and (95% Sn+5% Sb) environments. The ω0 for 116Sn was determined in Sn environment only. With the help of the known electric field gradient 1) of Sn in a Sn lattice the quadrupole moments have been deduced as Q(5?, 118Sn) = ±0.10(4) b and Q(5?, 116Sn) = ±0.165(60) b. These values together with the known2) quadrupole moment of the analogous 5? state in 120Sn are interpreted in terms of the pure single-particle model. The data exhibit the expected strong systematic variation of QI with the number of particles in the h112. subshell which is being filled with 1, 3 and 5 neutrons in 116Sn, 118Sn, and 120Sn, respectively.  相似文献

Protons with energies from 870 keV to 5.4 MeV have been observed following bombardment of a 40Ca target with 3He at beam energies of 29.5, 36.5 and 60 MeV, as well as from 40 MeV 3He bombardment of an 36Ar gas target. These data, and those resulting from 20 MeV proton bombardment of 40Ca, permit accurate identification of proton unbound levels in 41Sc, 37K, and 40Ca fed by allowed beta decay from 41Ti, 37Ca or 40Sc, respectively. Absolute ft values have been determined for beta decay to these levels. The half-life of 41Ti has been remeasured to be 80±2 ms and the log ft for its superallowed decay branch has been found to be 3.35±0.02, indicating an isospin purity for the lowest T = 32state in41Sc of ≈ 91 %. The ft values for37Ca β+ decay are compared to shell-model calculations for beta-decay in A = 37 nuclei.  相似文献
