The 144Sm(α, 3He)145Sm stripping reaction has been studied up to 3 MeV excitation energy with a 40 MeV α-beam. Angular distributions have been recorded, and spectroscopic factors are deduced using a standard DWBA procedure. The reaction favours high-l transfers, and is found to be very useful for the investigation of large-j states. From a comparison with the spectroscopic factors known from the 144Sm(d, p)145Sm reaction the normalization factor for the (α, 3He) reaction is found to depend strongly on the optical model parameters and on the transferred angular momentum l.  相似文献

Angular distributions of cross section and vector analyzing power have been measured for the 14N(d, p)15N reaction at Ed = 10 MeV for transitions to levels up to 8.6 MeV excitation in 15N. Distorted wave Born approximation calculations and calibration curves were used to determine total and orbital angular momenta and spectroscopic factors of the transferred neutrons. The results were compared with different theoretical approaches.  相似文献

Protons accelerated to 30 MeV were used to investigate low-lying states in the odd-odd nuclei 138La and 140Pr with (p, d) reactions. The elastic scattering of 30 MeV protons and 23 MeV deuterons was also studied to determine optical potentials. Experimental angular distributions are compared with distorted-wave Born approximation calculations to extract spin, parity, and spectroscopic factors for levels up to 432 keV of excitation in 140Pr and 530 keV in 138La. Comparisons with the simple shell-model predictions and extended shell-model calculations are presented. The 140Pr levels appear experimentally to have an almost pure particle-hole structure whereas the 138La levels exhibit substantial mixing.  相似文献

The 116Sn(d, 3He)115In reaction has been investigated at Ed = 50 MeV. Thirteen transitions to states up to 3 MeV excitation energy were studied. The measured angular distributions were compared with DWBA calculations and transferred angular momenta and spectroscopic factors were deduced. Levels at 1.04, 2.23 and 2.52 MeV were found to be excited most likely by l = 3 angular momentum transfer in contrast to previous investigations at lower incident energies in which no l = 3 transitions have been observed.  相似文献

The 144Sm(d, p) reaction has been studied at an incident deuteron energy of 19 MeV using the injector-tandem accelerator and the multichannel magnetic speetrograph of the University of Oxford. Angular distributions have been measured for transitions to levels of 145Sm up to an excitation energy of 3.2 MeV. Theoretical (d, p) distributions have been calculated using the program DWUCK. and orbital angular momentum transfers and spectroscopic factors have been deduced by comparing these calculations with the experimental data. The spectroscopic information derived from this study is more complete than that previously reported and many new assignments have been made. The level scheme of 145Sm has been found to resemble closely the level schemes of the other N = 83 nuclei.  相似文献

The 54Fe(p, d)53Fe and 140Ce(p, d)139Ce reactions have been studied at a proton energy of 122 MeV. Analyzing powers and angular distributions were obtained for outgoing deuterons to the strong low-lying single-particle states in both nuclei. These data along with the data of others at 26, 29, 41, 52 and 24, 35, 55 MeV for 54Fe and 140Ce respectively, have been compared with exact-finite-range DWBA calculations carried out in a consistent fashion to determine the energy dependence of the spectroscopic factors. A strong energy dependence was noticed for the spectroscopic factors when the l-values were large.  相似文献

Differential cross-section and analysing-power excitation functions were measured for elastic proton scattering from Ep = 3.6–6.4 MeV at θc.m. = 90°, 115.8°, 129.8° and 155.3°. Differential cross-section angular distributions were measured at 3.56, 3.94, 5.78 and 8.98 MeV and analysing-power angular distributions at 5.78 and 8.98 MeV. Optical-model parameters were deduced from these distributions. Resonance parameters were determined for eight analogue resonances in 71Ga and neutron spectroscopic factors were calculated. These were compared with the results of previous (p, p) cross-section analyses and the results of (d, p) reactions leading to states in 71Zn.  相似文献

The angular distributions of the energy spectra of the light charged particles (p, d and α) from the 9Be + 28Si reaction have been measured in the energy range 12 ≦ Elab ≦ 30 MeV. The particle evaporation spectra and the angular distributions were analyzed with a spin dependent statistical model. Angular distributions of 9Be ions elastically scattered on 28Si have been measured at the energies 12 MeV, 17 MeV, 23 MeV and 30 MeV and were analysed, together with previously measured cross sections, with the optical model. The fusion cut-off angular momentum lfus(E), the fusion cross section σfus(E) and the ratio σfus/σROM(E) were deduced. The excitation function for fusion was analyzed with the Glas and Mosel model. The parameters obtained from the fusion excitation function were compared with the corresponding ones from the 9Be + 28Si optical-model interaction potential.  相似文献

The (p, d) and (p, t) reactions on 92Mo have been studied at a proton energy of 28.0 MeV. Using an Enge split-pole spectrograph, resolutions of 11–15 keV for the detected deuterons and tritons were obtained. A total of 87 levels up to 4.9 MeV in 91Mo and 25 levels up to 4.0 MeV in 90Mo were found, several of which were previously unknown. By comparing the measured angular distributions with DWBA calculations l-values and spectroscopic factors were determined. The results are compared with data from previous experiments on 91Mo and 90Mo, with experiments on other N = 49 and 48 nuclei, and with theoretical calculations.  相似文献

The level structure of 141Ce up to 3.7 MeV excitation energy has been investigated by the (d, t) and (3He, α) reactions using 17 MeV deuteron and 24 MeV 3He beams respectively. The angular distributions have been analyzed with standard DWBA calculations and spectroscopic factors are deduced. The experimental information is compared to unified model calculations involving both one-particle and two-particle one-hole configurations with quadrupole and octupole vibrations of the underlying N = 82 and N = 84 core.  相似文献

The energy levels of 123I and 125I have been studied in the 122, 124Te(3He, d)123, 125I reactions at 24 MeV bombarding energy. The reaction products were analysed with an Enge split-pole magnetic spectrograph. A total of 57 levels below 3.3 MeV in 123I and 79 levels below 4.1 MeV in 125I were observed. Angular distributions were measured and compared with DWBA calculations to obtain orbital angular momentum transfers and spectroscopic strengths. The results were compared to previous radioactive decay studies and to theoretical energy level calculations.  相似文献

Energy levels in 119Sn up to 4.75 MeV excitation have been studied with the 118Sn(d, p)119Sn reaction at an incident deuteron energy of 17 MeV. The scattered particles were analysed by a magnetic spectrograph and detected in nuclear emulsions with a resolution of ≈ 9 keV. Seventyseven energy levels were identified. Angular distributions were compared to DWBA predictions allowing the identification of transferred angular momenta and the determination of spectroscopic factors for 49 states. The results obtained are compared with pairing theory and the weakcoupling model.  相似文献

The 24, 26Mg(6Li, d)28, 30Si reactions have been studied at 73 MeV bombarding energy. The angular distributions were analyzed with exact finite-range distorted wave Born approximation calculations assuming a direct α-cluster transfer. Extracted spectroscopic strengths leading to low-lying levels of 28Si and relative spectroscopic strengths between transitions to 28Si and 30Si ground states are consistent with those previously obtained by several α-transfer reactions. Many strongly populated levels have been observed at Ex ? 10 MeV for 28Si. A marked similarity was found between the deuteron spectrum and the 24Mg(α, α)24Mg excitation function in this excitation energy region. A brief comparison of the present α-transfer results with previous two-nucleon transfer data leading to 28,30Si is also presented.  相似文献

The 54Fe(τ, d)55Co reaction has been studied at 25 MeV incident energy with a split-pole spectrometer. About one hundred levels have been observed in 55Co up to 10 MeV excitation energy. Angular distributions have been measured and analyzed with DWBA and Gamow functions as form factors for unbound levels. The 54Fe(τ,dp?)54 reaction has been investigated at 24 MeV incident energy. The angular distributions of the emitted protons were measured in coincidence using method 2 of Litherland and Ferguson, with 0 detection of deuteron groups. Spins, population parameters, branching ratios and proton partial widths for the transitions to the ground and excited states of 54Fe were determined from the analysis of the angular correlation data. The results of these two experiments provide a large number ofspectroscopic properties of unbound proton states and in particular of analog states of 55Fe low-lying levels. The IAS of the 32? ground state of 55Fe is observed to be split between two individual levels. The amplitude of neutron coupling to the first 2+ excited state of 54Fe is obtained for the lg92 and 2d52 low-lying parent statfes in 55Fe. summed spectroscopic factors and the centroid energies of the proton states in 55Co are obtained. A comparison is made with previous (τ, d), (d, p) and (p, p) results.  相似文献

The (d, p) reaction on 74Se was investigated with 6.0 MeV deuterons. Many new levels of the 75Se nucleus were found up to 4.7 MeV excitation energy. From a DWBA analysis of the cross sections and the angular distributions, spectroscopic factors and ln values were obtained for forty levels. A sum rule analysis was applied to the results and the emptiness of low-lying shell model states was extracted.  相似文献

Absolute differential cross sections of the proton groups p0, p1 + p2, p3, p4 and p5 from the 14N(d, p)15N reaction have been determined at bombarding energies between 0.309 and 0.638 MeV. The shape of the measured angular distributions are generally well reproduced by the incoherent sum of the contributions of direct and compound nucleus processes calculated with the distorted wave Born approximation and the Hauser-Feshbach formula respectively. However, a reliable value for the spectroscopic factor can be extracted only for the p5 transition whose mechanism even at this energy is almost entirely direct.  相似文献

Low-spin levels in 136Ba have been studied by means of the (n, n'γ) reaction using reactor fast neutrons. Excited states up to an excitation energy of 2.8 MeV and with spin values up to 7 were found to be populated. Energies, intensities and angular distributions of γ-rays attributed to 136Ba have been measured. In addition to the confirmation of known level characteristics the angular distribution data resulted in new unique spin assignments for 7 levels (2 for the levels at 2080.0 keV, 2128.8 keV and 2484.7keV, 3 for those at 2390.8, 2399.8 and 2431.0 keV as well as 0+ for the 2141.3 keV level). Furthermore E2/M1 multipole mixing ratios were determined for the most intensive mixed γ-transitions.  相似文献

Experimental measurements are reported for the 58, 60, 62, 64Ni(τ, d) 59, 61, 63, 65Cu and 48Ca(τ, d)49Sc reactions and for the elastic scattering of 3He particles from 58, 60, 62, 64Ni and 48Ca targets at an incident energy of 18 MeV. The (τ, d) angular distributions cover the angular range from approximately θc.m. = 5° to 90° and the elastic scattering angular distributions range from θc.m. = 12° to 172°. In the (τ, d) reactions several weakly excited states, not previously seen in stripping reactions, have been identified and assignments of the transferred angular momentum made. The 48Ca(τ, d)49Sc reaction data are used in conjunction with the theoretical sum rules of MacFarlane and French to determine the normalization factors to be used with DWBA calculations for different sets of optical potentials. These normalization factors are used to extract spectroscopic strengths and centroid energies from the Ni(τ, d)Cu data which are compared with published model calculations for the odd copper isotopes. It is concluded that these calculations invariably fail to give a consistent picture of the odd copper isotopes mainly due to the use of centroid energies as variable parameters in the model calculations.  相似文献

Results from a study of the 18O(6Li, d)22Ne reaction at a 6Li energy of 32 MeV are reported. The L-dependence of the shapes of the measured angular distributions provide a check on recent Jπ assignments for some of the high-lying levels in 22Ne. A finite range distorted wave analysis assuming a direct cluster transfer has been used to extract from the data α-particle spectroscopic strengths for most of the natural parity levels populated below 8 MeV of excitation. These strengths are compared with theoretical predictions for those few states for which a definite correspondence can be made between the calculated and experimental levels of 22Ne. For transitions to the members of the ground-state band, the observed strengths disagree with the predictions. This disagreement has also been observed in the 16O(6Li, d) reaction and its cause is not understood. It is in marked contrast with the good agreement found for (6Li, d) reactions on targets of mass 20 ≦ A ≦ 24.  相似文献

Angular distributions of neutron polarization from the 14C(p, n)14N and 11B(α, n)14N reactions have been studied for the particle energies Ep = 1.788, 2.025, 2.272 and 2.450 MeV, and Eα = 2.049 MeV. The polarization was derived from the left-right asymmetry induced by elastic scattering from 4He. Together with existing measurements of angular distributions and total cross sections for several reaction channels leading to 15N with an excitation energy between 11.5 and 12.5 MeV, these data were used to deduce from R-matrix analysis a set of resonance parameters for the 15N levels in this energy range.  相似文献
