The impurity resistivity of AlCr between 1.5 and 50°K was determined with a characteristic temperature for the T2 variation θ1=960±40°K. The behaviour of the resistivity minimum both in AlCr and AlMn alloys with impurity concentration provides evidence that a T3 phonon resistivity is found also in aluminium with anomalous impurity resistivity.  相似文献

We have measured the resistivity of AlMg and AlMn up to 0.5 at. % impurity concentration between 0° and 100°C. The results for the resistivity for both systems can be analysed within one generalized model in which spinfluctuations as well as changes in the electron-phonon interaction are considered. For AlMn a calculation of the impurity contribution to d?/dT is attempted. For AlMg there are indications that the superconducting Tc will increase with Mg concentration.  相似文献

It is shown that the pseudoscalar ηc and “ηc” (ηb and “ηb”) with M ≈ 2.80 and 3.51 GeV (9.17 and 9.88 GeV) can be predicted by using the radial mixing model, where the “ηc” and “ηb” are the excited 0- states in the c-c and b-b systems, respectively, and the former would correspond to the observed 0- meson with M ≈ 3.45 GeV in charmonium.  相似文献

We have measured the frequency dependence of the ac susceptibility X(T) for three alloys of PdMn in the spin-glass regime. A strong dependence of X(T) on frequency is observed near and below the freezing temperature in contrast to the archetypal CuMn spin glass. We have made magnetostriction measurements on dilute AuYb and AuTb monocrystals at low temperatures. The shape magnetostriction follows the sign of the quadrupolar Stevens factor αJ of the earth but, in contrast to our recent results on silver-rare earth dilute alloys, the 〈001〉 and 〈111〉 effects have opposite signs. We obtain very good agreement between experiment and calculations based on the known cubic crystal-field parameters and we estimate the ion-lattice coupling parameters. The volume magnetostriction is positive, but very small, about two orders of magnitude smaller than the shape effect.  相似文献

Based on 4085 pn→Xπ? events, X denoting a neutral NN or N system, we present evidence for 5.1 and 3.1 standard deviation enhancements at the X mass of 2.85 and 3.05 GeV/c2, respectively. The lower mass bump has a width of Λ ? 39 GeV/c2 while the 3.05 GeV/c2 is seen as a one bin accumulation (20 GeV/c2 width). The relevance of these peaks is discussed.  相似文献

The multiplicity distribution for 11558 events in pp interactions at 22.4 GeVc was analyzed. The average charged multiplicity 〈nch〉 for inelastic events was found to be 4.69 ±0.05 and 〈nchD=2.04 ± 0.05. The early KNO scaling of normalized topological cross sections has been tested.  相似文献

The proton spin-lattice relaxation time T1 has been measured at low temperatures in spin 52 (CH3)4NMnCl3 (TMMC) and spin 12 CuCl22NC5H5 (CuPC). The two systems have very different temperature dependences which we attribute to the different spin values.  相似文献

The recently observed pp collider events with large missing PT are analysed in terms of a supersymmetric model with a light photino and scalar quarks with mass in the range 20 to 35 GeV. A lower bound of O(60 GeV) on the gluino mass in this scenario is found.  相似文献

In reactions such as ee → anything, NN → anything, the final state (neglecting secondary isospin violating decays) is customarily supposed to have isospin zero or one. We show that for such states the average fraction (X) of the energy carried away by neutral pions is bounded by X<(9+√41)20≈0.77, when I3 = 0 (e.g., for ee, pp, nn) and by X>(11?√41)40≈0.115, when I3=±1 (e.g., for pn or np).  相似文献

Magnetic structure amplitudes in Ni1-xCrx alloys (x = 0.023 and 0.034) are measured using the polarised neutron diffraction technique. The structure amplitudes are analysed using the projection operator formalism. In this framework a new approach for defining local site moment, diffuse moment and asphericity in the site moment are discussed. A detailed multiband Coherent Potential Approximation (CPA) calculation for ferromagnetic NiCr alloys using the Hubbard Hamiltonian with realistic parameters is discussed. The results of these calculations are compared with the existing bulk measurements like magnetisation and transport properties. The evolution of site moment and its asphericity with impurity concentration are obtained and compared with the present polarised neutron results.  相似文献

Measurements are presented of the thermopower of three concentrated AuCr (0.9, 4.9 and 10.6 at.%Cr) alloys between 4 and 500°K. Considerable differences are observed in the thermopower compared with AuFe alloys in a similar concentration range. Possible reasons for these differences are discussed in terms of current ideas on spin glasses and the pair model of Matho and Béal-Monod.  相似文献

We have measured the low-temperature magnetization of PdMn (4.0 and 9.8 at% Mn) and PdFeMn (0.35 at% Fe, 0.5 at% Mn) with fields ? 15T. A different magnetization behaviour is noted between the 9.8 at% spin glass and the alloys with lower Mn-concentrations. The latter show a ferromagnetic character and no irreversibilities or relaxation effects.  相似文献

577 events from pp→2π+? annihilations at 5.7 GeV/c are analyzed. Single-particle spectra are studied and an effective matrix element in the form Πi=14 exp(?BpTi2) is determined. The rates for production of ?° and f0 mesons are estimated and the influence of resonances on the angular distributions of pions and dipions is investigated. The pronounced dip-bump structure with a sharp minimum at |t| = 1.5 (GeV/c)2, recently observed in elastic pp scattering at PL = 50 GeV/c at the CERN SPS, is explained by the quark multiple scattering model with a realistic wavefunction for the proton and the antiproton. It is predicted that a second dip will appear around |t| = 7 (GeV/c)2 at PL = 50 GeV/ c and at higher energies.  相似文献

Mössbauer effect measurements of the Fe: Au system are reported which yield the local susceptibility of the Fe ions. At high temperatures (T ? 10°K) a Curie Weiss law with θ1 = 9.8°K is observed, whereas at low temperatures the Curie Weiss temperature is θ2 = 0.45°K. In both temperature regimes the local susceptibility is a linear function of the total susceptibility. In addition below 4°K the local magnetization is a linear function of the total magnetization up to external fields of 60 kG.  相似文献

Electrical resistivity, thermoelectric power and current noise were measured on Li-doped MnO single crystals in the temperature range from 300 to 1000 K. Below 700 K the crystals are p-type and the activation energy of the resistivity is 0.75 eV. Around 700 K the activation energy changes from 0.75 to 1.25 eV owing to a change from p- to n-type conduction. The depth of the Li acceptor is found to be 0.65 eV. From resistivity and thermoelectric power data it is concluded that the bandgap in first approximation can be written as Es(T) = Eo ? γT between 750 and 1000 K, with Eo = 1.9 eV and γ = 6 × 10?4 eV/K. The current noise spectra show 1? noise. The magnitude of the 1? noise is strongly temperature dependent. From the noise data it is deduced that Eo = 2.2 eV and γ = 10?3 eV/K in the temperature range 430–700 K.  相似文献

Lattice parameters for fcc PdFe alloys exhibit a maximum at XFe = 0.003 where XFe is the atom fraction Fe. In this region of alloy composition the solubility of H2 is also a maximum. It is suggested that the “giant moments” found in this region cause the anomalous lattice expansion which in turn is the major source of the enhanced H2 solubility.  相似文献

We present results on pd multiplicity distributions at 3.9 and 4.3 GeV/c p incident momenta obtained from a bubble chamber experiment. An excess is observed for the even-prong multiplicities as compared with p collisions on free protons. This excess as well as that observed in other existing pd data in the 1.6–2.9 GeV/c range was analysed in terms of double interaction processes inside the deuteron.  相似文献
