Metal additive manufacturing (MAM) is an emerging and disruptive technology that builds three-dimensional (3D) components by adding layer-upon-layer of metallic materials. The complex cyclic thermal history and highly localized energy can produce large temperature gradients, which will, in turn, lead to compressive and tensile stress during the MAM process and eventually result in residual stress. Being an issue of great concern, residual stress, which can cause distortion, delamination, cracking, etc., is considered a key mechanical quantity that affects the manufacturing quality and service performance of MAM parts. In this review paper, the ongoing work in the field of residual stress determination and control for MAM is described with a particular emphasis on the experimental measurement/control methods and numerical models. We also provide insight on what still requires to be achieved and the research opportunities and challenges.  相似文献

自行车发明于两个多世纪前. 这一看似古老的交通工具在为人们提供出行便利的同时,其独特的运动特性及动力学性质 也吸引了来自数学、物理及力学等多个学科相关学者的兴趣. 大体上,自行车可以描述为具有 7 个自由度和 4 个非完整约束的多刚体系统. 但由于前后车轮之间复杂的运动耦合关系,使得自行车的约束方程和动力学模型变得异常复杂, 导致对自行车的稳定性存在一些模糊认识. 本文针对经典的 Carvallo-Whipple 自行车构型,系统回顾了历史上自行车动力学研究中的相关问题,这些问题包括:(1) 自行车在复杂曲面上的几何约束和非完整约束的数学描述;(2) 自行车系统内在的对称性及守恒量; (3) 自行车动力学的各类建模方法; (4) 自行车运动的相对平衡点及稳定性分析,包括水平面上的匀速直线运动及旋转对称曲面上的匀速圆周运动;(5) 影响自行车自稳定性的结构参数等. 本文最后对自行车动力学实验和控制方面的研究工作进行了回顾,并对自行车今后的研究给出了展望.   相似文献

Robotic farming will play an undeniably significant role in future sustainable agriculture. Autonomous agricultural vehicles for arable crops and their components are reviewed herein, and their differing possible components, advantages and disadvantages are discussed. The autonomous agricultural vehicles are qualified from technical points of view, including each vehicle's hardware unit (platform development, platform, transporter system, operation functions, communication, sensors [positional sensor, attitude sensor, and safety sensor], and control unit), the physical environment, and the control algorithm. The development process for different vehicles is described. As an operational case study, all investigations conducted at Hokkaido University between 1990 and 2018 are discussed and evaluated based on the described classification. The development procedure, the process of component selection, developmental challenges, and the performance indicators of the vehicles are discussed in detail. The development process and applicability of each component are then presented, and recommendations for future studies are noted. Finally, the most important experiences and lessons, and some recommendations are outlined.  相似文献

虽然防护林用于减小风速、控制热量和水汽传递及污染物扩散、 改善气候与环境、增加作物产量等已经有几百年了, 但直到近几十年, 人们才开始系统地研究防护林空气动力学的遮蔽机制.在本综述中,我 们考察了绕防护林带的流动与湍流控制机制,最新的模型与数值模拟 研究情况;通过数值模拟与实验数据的比较,来了解防护林带结构与防 风效果之间的关系;讨论数值分析如何及为什么能够得到所需要的结果. 本文将从多孔隙防护林带流动基本方程组的推导开始,讨论数值模型及 模拟过程,对附体与分离流动进行预测;分析了遮蔽机制与动量交换;对 风向、防护林密度、宽度和三维性对流动与湍流的影响作了系统的论 述.还对热流和土壤水分蒸发的新模型及数值模拟作了简述.最后,我们 对网络工作站、群和高性能分布式并行计算机及其对防护林带模型预 报能力的提高作了讨论.  相似文献

The tomographic reconstruction of supersonic flows faces two challenges. Firstly, techniques used in the past, such as the direct Fourier method (DFM) (Gottlieb and Gustafsson in On the direct Fourier method for computer tomography, 1998; Morton in Tomographic imaging of supersonic flows, 1995) or various backprojection (Kak and Slaney in Principles of computerized tomographic imaging, vol. 33 in Classics in Applied Mathematics, 2001) techniques, have only been able to reconstruct areas of the flow which are upstream of any opaque objects, such as a model. Secondly, shock waves create sharp discontinuities in flow properties, which can be difficult to reconstruct both in position and in magnitude with limited data. This paper will present a reconstruction method, matrix inversion using ray-tracing and least squares conjugate gradient (MI-RLS), which uses geometric ray-tracing and a sparse matrix iterative solver (Paige and Saunders in ACM Trans. Math. Softw. 8(1):43–71, 1982) to overcome both of these challenges. It will be shown, through testing with a phantom object described in tomographic literature, that the results compare favourably to those produced by the DFM technique. Finally, the method will be used to reconstruct three-dimensional density fields from interferometric shock layer images, with good resolution (Faletič in Tomographic reconstruction of shock layer flows, 2005). 近些年二维纳米材料得到了大量的研究,其中一个热点研究方向是将不同的二维纳米材料堆垛成纳米异质结构,从而实现多功能的纳米器件.这些二维纳米材料可以从面外和面内两个方向上进行堆垛从而形成两类不同的异质结构.在关于这类二维纳米材料及其异质结构的理论研究中,原子间的相互作用起到类似于连续介质力学中本构关系的作用.因此学者提出了多种方案用于描写原子间相互作用,主要包括第一性原理计算和经验势能模型等.本文主要是对比和分析各种描写二维纳米材料及其异质结构的常见经验势能模型,从而为研究人员选择相互作用模型提供一些参考.   相似文献

Recent Euro 5 and Euro 6 vehicle emission standards are the first ever initiative to control particles on a number basis at the source. Related standards are also desirable for ambient nanoparticles (taken in this article to be those below 300 nm) to protect against possible adverse effects on public health and the environment. However, there are a number of technical challenges that need to be tackled before developing a regulatory framework for atmospheric nanoparticles. Some of the challenges derive from a lack of standardisation of the key measurement parameters, including sampling, necessary for robust evaluation of particle number concentrations, especially in the context of insufficient knowledge of the physicochemical characteristics of emerging sources (i.e. bio-fuel derived and manufactured nanoparticles). Ideally, ambient concentrations of primary particles could be linked to primary particle emissions by use of nanoparticle dispersion models, and secondary nanoparticles using photochemical modeling tools. The limitations in these areas are discussed. Although there is inadequate information on the exact biological mechanism through which these particles cause harm, it is argued that this should not in itself delay the introduction of regulation. This article reviews the missing links between the existing knowledge of nanoparticle number concentrations and the advances required to tackle the technical challenges implied in developing regulations.  相似文献

开发海上风能是实现我国碳达峰、碳中和“3060”目标的重要举措.海上风电的大型化是降本增效的主要途径,已成为近年来的发展趋势.目前海上风电基础结构设计标准由欧洲领衔;区别于欧洲的海洋环境与地质条件,我国海上风电结构面临强台风、软弱土等挑战,极易发生动力灾变,大型化可能进一步加剧风电结构灾变风险.防灾降载的关键在于深入理解海上风电相关的空气动力学、水动力学、结构动力学、土动力学等的一体化耦合与智能控制.本文围绕台风环境风机动力灾变与控制相关领域的交叉力学问题,结合笔者团队近年研究成果,较为详细地评述了国内外最新研究进展情况,主要包括:台风风场及其诱发的波浪场工程尺度性状,台风环境中风机气动、水动载荷及智能控制策略,风浪流多向载荷联合作用下基础失效模式与结构灾变机制,以及考虑风浪流-结构-基础-海床-风机控制耦合作用的一体化分析设计方法.在此基础上,建议了我国海上风电大型化进程中仍有待突破的研究重点:需更深入掌握台风风场工程尺度性状、台风和台风浪载荷特性,需探索台风环境中的风机控制策略,亟需建立台风环境中大型海上风电整机一体化设计理论并开发国产化工业软件.上述相关领域的突破,对于我国实现海...  相似文献

This paper proposes a new nonlinear control scheme incorporating a state observer, a fuzzy neural network (FNN) and a new Nussbaum function for strict-feedback nonlinear systems by considering several challenges. These challenges are external disturbances, uncertain dynamics, unmeasured states, constrained input, unknown control direction, singularity issue, and actuator’s faults of different types. The scheme uses approximations of the unknown system’s dynamics provided by the FNN, the system’s states variables estimation provided by a model-free high-gain observer, and the control direction provided by the Nussbaum function. Compared to existing schemes, in addition to the fact that the new scheme can tackle simultaneously all the aforementioned challenges with better tracking performances, it also cancels the assumption about the positive definiteness of the control gain function found in many works. Thus, the scheme suites for more applications as it can be applied in cases where the control gain can be either semi-negative/negative-definite, semi-positive/positive-definite. Furthermore, the knowledge of the bounds for uncertain dynamics, actuation faults, FNN approximation errors and external disturbances is not required as it is for many other schemes. The effectiveness of the scheme is illustrated by its successful application to three examples, which are the pitch angle control for a Boeing 747-100/200 represented by the ultimate approximate nonlinear longitudinal model over up-and-away flight regime, the trajectory tracking control of a one-link manipulator actuated by a brush DC (BDC) motor, and the position tracking control for an inverted pendulum.  相似文献

Based on the classical ( matrix type ) input-output analysis, a type of nonlinear ( continuous type) conditional Leontief model, input-output equation were introduced, as well as three corresponding questions, namely, solvability, continuity and surjectivity , and some fixed point and surjectivity methods in nonlinear analysis were used to deal with these questions. As a result, the main theorems are obtained, which provide some sufficient criterions to solve above questions described by the boundary properties of the enterprise‘s consuming operator.  相似文献

The upstream offshore multi-phase well-pipeline-riser installations are facing huge challenges related to slugging flow: An unstable flow regime where the flow rates, pressures and temperatures oscillate in the multi-phase pipelines. One typical severe slug is induced by vertical wells or risers causing the pressure to build up and hence originates the oscillating pressure and flow. There exist many negative consequences related to the severe slugging flow and thus lots of investments and effort have been put into reducing or completely eliminating the severe slug. This paper reviews in details the state-of-the-art related to analysis, detection, dynamical modeling and elimination of the slug within the offshore oil & gas Exploration and Production (E&P) processes. Modeling of slugging flow has been used to investigate the slug characteristics and for design of anti-slug control as well, however most models require specific facility and operating data which, unfortunately, often is not available from most offshore installations. Anti-slug control have been investigated for several decades in oil & gas industry, but many of these existing methods suffer the consequent risk of simultaneously reducing the oil & gas production. This paper concludes that slug is a well defined phenomenon, but even though it has been investigated for several decades the current anti-slug control methods still have problems related to robustness. It is predicted that slug-induced challenges will be even more severe as a consequence of the longer vertical risers caused by deep-water E&P in the future.  相似文献

Low Reynolds number aerodynamic experiments with flapping animals (such as bats and small birds) are of particular interest due to their application to micro air vehicles which operate in a similar parameter space. Previous PIV wake measurements described the structures left by bats and birds and provided insight into the time history of their aerodynamic force generation; however, these studies have faced difficulty drawing quantitative conclusions based on said measurements. The highly three-dimensional and unsteady nature of the flows associated with flapping flight are major challenges for accurate measurements. The challenge of animal flight measurements is finding small flow features in a large field of view at high speed with limited laser energy and camera resolution. Cross-stream measurement is further complicated by the predominately out-of-plane flow that requires thick laser sheets and short inter-frame times, which increase noise and measurement uncertainty. Choosing appropriate experimental parameters requires compromise between the spatial and temporal resolution and the dynamic range of the measurement. To explore these challenges, we do a case study on the wake of a fixed wing. The fixed model simplifies the experiment and allows direct measurements of the aerodynamic forces via load cell. We present a detailed analysis of the wake measurements, discuss the criteria for making accurate measurements, and present a solution for making quantitative aerodynamic load measurements behind free-flyers.  相似文献

雷诺切应力是壁湍流高摩擦阻力的重要来源, 有理论认为可以通过壁面生成负雷诺应力(数值上为正)的方式来削弱湍流流场中雷诺应力的分布, 以此获得流动减阻. 而通过对雷诺平均运动方程的法向二次积分, 可以发现壁面生成正雷诺应力(数值上为负)对壁面摩擦阻力系数才有负贡献. 文中在湍流边界层流动的控制区域下边界设置一系列倾斜狭缝, 利用该装置通过周期性吹吸的方法产生壁面生成正(负)雷诺应力, 并采用直接数值模拟方法考察和验证上文提到的减阻理论. 文中采用的湍流边界层流动模型, 其流动雷诺数(基于外流速度及动量损失厚度)从300 发展到860. 文中通过多组数值模拟算例, 考察了射流强度和频率对壁面摩擦阻力系数的影响, 并对比了壁面生成正或负雷诺应力对流动的影响. 研究表明, 壁面生成正雷诺应力控制的减阻率能达到3.26, 而壁面生成负雷诺应力控制的减阻效果较壁面生成正雷诺应力控制的要差; 壁面生成的正雷诺应力对壁面摩擦阻力有负贡献, 而壁面生成的负雷诺应力对壁面摩擦阻力有正贡献; 通过考察控制的收支比, 发现控制方案不能获得能量净收益.   相似文献

Three chemical looping gasification processes, i. e. Syngas Chemical Looping (SCL) process, Coal Direct Chemical Looping (CDCL) process, and Calcium Looping process (CLP), are being developed at the Ohio State University (OSU). These processes utilize simple reaction schemes to convert carbonaceous fuels into products such as hydrogen, electricity, and synthetic fuels through the transformation of a highly reactive, highly recyclable chemical intermediate. In this paper, these novel chemical looping gasification processes are described and their advantages and potential challenges for commercialization are discussed.  相似文献

用数值模拟手段详细地研究了振动翼型和襟翼的绕流问题,数值模拟的出发方程为Euler和N-S方程,格式为Bcam-Warming格式的改进型。数值实验主要针对流场的二大特性进行的,即振动对激波的影响和振动对分离的抑制作用,结果表明:(1)随翼型或襟翼的振动激波强度和位置也相应地变化但这一变化滞后于攻角的变化;(2)振幅加大激波强度的变化和激波运动范围也加大;(3)振动频率越高对激波的影响反而较低频时要小;(4)流动条件的不同可使升力回线的走向发生变化;(5)振动对分离有明显的抑制作用。  相似文献

软体机器人是一类新型机器人,具有结构柔软度高,环境适应性好,亲和性强,功能多样等特点,有着十分广阔的研究和应用前景. 智能材料在软体机器人结构设计及实际应用中扮演了重要的角色,其特殊的驱动机制极大拓展了软体机器人的功能. 介绍了软体机器人的发展和研究现状,按其应用场合及功能总结了几种典型的软体机器人. 从仿生机理的角度,介绍了蠕虫、弯曲爬行虫、鱼类游动等几类仿生运动机理以及其相应的软体机器人. 还按不同驱动类型将软体机器人归纳为气动、形状记忆合金、离子交换聚合物金属复合材料、介电高弹体、响应水凝胶、化学燃烧驱动等类型. 介绍了软体机器人的制作方法与工艺,分析了目前软体机器人研究的主要挑战,提出对未来研究的展望.   相似文献
