Synthesis of 5-[2-(Phenoxy)ethyl] Derivatives of 6-Methyluracil, 6-Methyl-2-thioxo-2,3-dihydro-1H-pyrimidin-4-one,and 2-Imino-6-methyl-2,3-dihydro-1H-pyrimidin-4-one

A synthesis of novel derivatives of 6-methyluracil, 6-methyl-2-thioxo-, and 2-imino-6-methyl-2,3-dihydro-1H-pyrimidin-4-one containing a 2-(phenoxy)ethyl substituent at position 5 of the pyrimidine ring has been carried out. It was found that 5-[2-(phenoxy)ethyl] derivatives of 6-methyl-2-thioxo- and 2-imino-6-methyl-2,3-dihydro-1H-pyrimidin-4-one are obtained by the condensation of the corresponding ethyl 3-oxo-2-(2-phenoxyethyl)butanoates with thiourea or guanidine. 6-Methyl-5-[2-(phenoxy)ethyl]uracils can be prepared by treating 6-methyl-5-[2-(phenoxy)ethyl]-2-thioxo-2,3-dihydro-1H-pyrimidin-4-ones with an excess of aqueous monochloroacetic acid solution. __________ Translated from Khimiya Geterotsiklicheskikh Soedinenii, No. 8, pp. 1213–1217, August, 2005.     

新试剂5-(对-苯胺偶氮)-2,3-二氢-1,4-酞嗪二酮的电化学发光研究

应用自制的ECL-1型电致化学发光仪,对新试剂5-(对-苯胺偶氮)-2,3-二氢-1,4-酞嗪二酮(简称ADPD)在Na_2CO_3-NaHCO_3-H_3BO_3缓冲介质中的电化学发光行为作了研究。结果表明,当介质pH值为10.20时,在各种选定的实验条件下,施加+2.0V(vs.SCE)三角波脉冲电压,体系发光强度与ADPD浓度在2×10~(-9)～1×10~(-7)mol/L范围内呈线性关系。反应的检测限为5×10~(-10)mol/L。并且提出了ADPD电化学发光的可能机理。     

2-[2-(2,3-Dihydrobenzimidazolylidene)]- and 2-[2-(2,3-Dihydropyrido[2,3-d]imidazolylidene)]-5,5-dimethyl-1,3-cyclohexanediones

The reaction of 2-aminocarbonyl-5,5-dimethyl-1,3-cyclohexanedione with 2,3-diaminopyridine, 1,2-phenylenediamine (and its 4-methyl, 4-nitro, 4-carboxy, and 4-benzoyl derivatives), and 3,3-diaminobenzidine gave the corresponding 2-[2-(2,3-dihydrobenzimidazolylidene)]- and 2-[2-(2,3-dihydropyrido[2,3-d]imidazolylidene)]-5,5-dimethyl-1,3-cyclohexanediones. Their structure was confirmed by ¹H NMR spectroscopic data and X-ray analysis.     

新试剂6-(2,4-二羟基苯偶氮)-2,3-二氢-1,4-酞嗪二酮的化学发光研究

本文研究了新试剂6-(2,4-二羟基苯偶氮)6-(2,3-二氢-1,4-酞嗪二酮(DHDHD)的化学发光性质;考察了二十多种金属离子对DHDHD-H_2O_2体系的催化发光情况,拟定了应用该体系化学发光测定钴的新方法。线性范围1.0×10~(-11)g/ml～8.0×10~(-8)g/ml;检测限4×10~(-12)g/ml。

Reactions of 2-(4,5-dihydro-3-furyl)-1,3-diphenyl-1,3-diaza-2λ<Superscript>3</Superscript>-phospholidine and 4,5-dihydro-3-furylphosphonous diamides with nitrile imines

Reactions of 2-(4,5-dihydro-3-furyl)-1,3-diphenyl-1,3-diaza-2λ³-phospholidine (1) with nitrile imines are multistep processes involving cleavage of one P-N bond of the diazaphospholidine ring to form substituted 5-(2-chloroethyl)-4-(N,N′-diphenylethylenediamino)-1,4-dihydro-1,2,4λ⁵-diazaphosphorines 4 as final products. Analogs of phospholidine 1, namely, 4,5-dihydro-3-furylphosphonous dipiperidide and dimorpholide, react with C,N-diphenylnitrile imine with retention of both P-N bonds to give 5-(2-hydroxyethyl)-1,2,4-diazaphosphorinium chlorides. Synthesis and Properties of 1,3-Diaryl-5,6-dihydro-8H-imidazo[2,1-c]-1,4-oxazinium Bromides

It has been established that the condensation of 3-(4-methoxyphenylamino)-5,6-dihydro-2H-1,4-oxazine with substituted phenacyl bromides occurs at the exocyclic nitrogen atom with formation of 3-aryl-3-hydroxy-1-(4-methoxyphenyl)-2,5,6,8-tetrahydro-3H-imidazo[2,1-c]-1,4-oxazinium bromides. By treatment of the latter with acetic anhydride 3-aryl-1-(4-methoxyphenyl)-5,6-dihydro-8H-imidazo[2,1-c]-1,4-oxazinium bromides are formed. The structures of the compounds synthesized were determined via ¹H NMR spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction.     

Reactions of cyclic 1,3-dicarbonyl compounds with 1,2(1,4)-dihydro-1-methyl-2(4)-methylene-N-heterocycles. A new access to 6,12-methano-dibenz[d,g]-[1,3]oxazocinones

Summary The enamine-type methylene-N-heterocycles1–5 react with cyclic 2-ethoxymethylene-1,3-dicarbonyl compounds6 to give 2-[2-(hetarylidene)ethylidene]-1,3-dicarbonyl compounds7–14. The result of the reactions between 1,2-dihydro-1-methyl-2-methylene-quinoline (1a) and cyclic 1,3-dicarbonyl compounds depends on the nature of the dihydro intermediatesA/B. Dehydrogenation of keton intermediatesA results in 2-(1,2-dimethyl-4(1H)-quinolylidene)-1,3-dicarbonyl compounds17–21. Reaktionen cyclischer 1,3-Dicarbonylverbindungen mit 1,2(1,4)-Dihydro-1-methyl-2(4)-methylen-N-heterocyclen. Ein neuer Zugang zu 6,12-Methano- dibenz[d,g][1,3]oxazocinonen

Zusammenfassung Aufgrund ihres Enamincharakters reagieren die Methylen-N-heterocyclen1–5 mit cyclischen 2-Ethoxymethylen-1,3-dicarbonylverbindungen6 zu den 2-[2-(Hetaryliden)ethyliden]-1,3-dicarbonylverbindungen7–14. Das Ergebnis der Reaktionen zwischen 1,2-Dihydro-1-methyl-2-methylen-chinolin (1a) und cyclischen 1,3-Dicarbonylverbindungen hängt von der Natur der zwischenzeitlich entstehenden DihydroverbindungenA/B ab. Die Intermediat-KetoneA gehen durch Dehydrierung während der Reaktion in die 2-(1,2-Dimethyl-4(1H)chinolyliden)-1,3-dicarbonylverbindungen17–21 über. Die Intermediat-EnoleB mit sechsgliedrigem Dicarbonylring bilden in intramolekularer Reaktion die 6,12-Methano-dibenz[d,g][1,3]oxazocinone22–25, deren Struktur am Beispiel der Verbindung23 durch¹H-NMR sowie durch Röntgenkristallstrukturanalyse bewiesen wird.

Synthesis and Crystal Structure of 2,3-Bis(dinitrofluoromethyl)-1,4-dioxane

For the first time the dinitromethyl group was modified to dinitrofluoromethyl group in the series of aliphatic polynitro compounds in the case of the reaction of 1,1,4,4-tetranitro-2,3-butanediol diacetate with ammonium fluoroxysulfate in the presence of sodium bicarbonate and ethylene glycol. Previously unknown 2,3-bis(dinitrofluoromethyl)-1,4-dioxane was synthesized. Its structure was determined by X-ray diffraction analysis.     

A new synthesis of 3-hydroxy-2,3-dihydro-1,4-benzodioxin-2-carboxamides and 3-aminomethylene-1,4-benzodioxin-2(3H)-one derivatives

The 1,4-benzodioxin-2-carboxylic esters or carboxamides react with nucleophilic amines to give access to 3-hydroxy-2,3-dihydro-1,4-benzodioxin-2-carboxamides and 3-aminomethyn-1,4-benzodioxin-2(3H)-one precursors of potential therapeutical compounds. The basic environment (K₂CO₃ or amine) facilitates the process.     

Acetals and ethers,XVII. One- or two-step syntheses of 2-(2-alkoxyethyl)-1,3-dioxacyclanes

2-(2-Alkoxyethyl)-1,3-dioxanes (1) were prepared by ap-toluenesulfonic acid-catalyzed, one-step reaction of propenal with a mixture of aliphatic alcohol and trimethylene glycol in good yields. The transacetalization reaction of 1,1,3-trialkoxypropanes (3) with ethylene glycol or propylene-(1,2)glycol afforded good yields of pure 2-(2-alkoxyethyl)-1,3-dioxolanes (5 or6), respectively. This reaction proceeds through an intermediate 1,3-dialkoxy-1-(2-hydroxyalkoxy)-propane.

Ein- oder Zweistufensynthese von 2-(2-Alkoxyethyl)-1,3-dioxacyclanen

Zusammenfassung In der durchp-Toluolsulfonsäure — katalysierten, direkten Reaktion von Propenal mit einem Gemisch von aliphatischem Alkohol und Trimethylenglykol wurden die entsprechenden 2-(2-Alkoxyethyl)-1,3-dioxane (1) in guten Ausbeuten erhalten. Die Umacetalisierung von 1,1,3-Trialkoxypropanen (3) mit Ethylenglykol oder 1,2-Propylenglykol lieferte 2-(2-Alkoxyethyl)-1,3-dioxolane (5 oder6) in guten Ausbeuten. Die Umacetalisierungsreaktion von 1,1,3-Trialkoxypropanen verläuft über 1,3-Dialkoxy-1-(2-hydroxyalkoxy)-propane als Zwischenprodukte.

     

Facile Iodine(III)-Mediated Approach for the Regioselective Chlorination of 2-Aryl-2,3-dihydro-4(1H)-quinolones

Oxidation of 2-aryl-2,3-dihydro-4(1H)-quinolones (1) with 1.5 equivalents of (dichloroiodo)benzene in dichloromethane at room temperature leads to regioselective chlorination, thereby offering an efficient method for the synthesis of new 2-aryl-6-chloro-2,3-dihydro-4(1H)-quinolones (3).     

Investigation of 2,3'-Biquinolyl. 11. Regioselectivity in the Hydroxylation of 1-Alkyl-3-(2-quinolyl)quinolinium Halides

The hydroxylation of 1-alkyl-3-(2-quinolyl)quinolinium halides by an alkaline solution of K₃[Fe(CN)₆] in aqueous 1,4-dioxane leads to a mixture of 1-alkyl-3-(2-quinolyl)-1,2-dihydro-2-quinolones and 1-alkyl-3-(2-quinolyl)-1,4-dihydro-4-quinolones with predominance of the former. The use of the system of K₃[Fe(CN)₆]/Mg(OH)₂ in aqueous 1,4-dioxane leads to the regiospecific formation of 1-alkyl-3-(2-quinolyl)-1,4-dihydro-4-quinolones.
