Both for the background world model and its linear perturbations Newtonian cosmology coincides with the zero-pressure limits of relativistic cosmology. However, such successes in Newtonian cosmology are not purely based on Newton's gravity, but are rather guided ones by previously known results in Einstein's theory. The action-at-a-distance nature of Newton's gravity requires further verification from Einstein's theory for its use in the large-scale nonlinear regimes. We study the domain of validity of the Newtonian cosmology by investigating weakly nonlinear regimes in relativistic cosmology assuming a zero-pressure and irrotational fluid. We show that, first, if we ignore the coupling with gravitational waves the Newtonian cosmology is exactly valid even to the second order in perturbation. Second, the pure relativistic correction terms start appearing from the third order. Third, the correction terms are independent of the horizon scale and are quite small in the large-scale near the horizon. These conclusions are based on our special (and proper) choice of variables and gauge conditions. In a complementary situation where the system is weakly relativistic but fully nonlinear (thus, far inside the horizon) we can employ the post-Newtonian approximation. We also show that in the large-scale structures the post-Newtonian effects are quite small. As a consequence, now we can rely on the Newtonian gravity in analyzing the evolution of nonlinear large-scale structures even near the horizon volume.  相似文献

The most up-to-date photorecombination spectrum of Ga13+ and Ge14+ has been re-assessed with direct large-scale relativistic atomic structure calculations. The new temperature-dependent dielectronic recombination rate coefficients are presented in a form convenient for astrophysical plasma modeling, summarizing the importance of different multi-electron intra-shell core excitations in the target ions. Obtained results are expected to facilitate a more accurate determination of the ionization-recombination balance of multiply-charged gallium and germanium ions and to improve the diagnosis of the radiative energy loss rates from low-density high-temperature plasmas.  相似文献

The generation of femtosecond X-ray pulses will have important scientific applications by enabling the direct measurement of atomic motion and structural dynamics in condensed matter on the fundamental time scale of a vibrational period. Interaction of femtosecond laser pulses with relativistic electron beams is an effective approach to generating femtosecond pulses of X-rays. In this paper we present recent results from proof-of-principle experiments in which 300 fs pulses are generated from a synchrotron storage ring by using an ultrashort optical pulse to create femtosecond time structure on the stored electron bunch. A previously demonstrated approach for generating femtosecond X-rays via Thomson scattering between terawatt laser pulses and relativistic electrons is reviewed and compared with storage-ring based schemes.  相似文献

Possible dark states could be induced after derivations of the entrainment of matter induced by a surface wave propagating along the flexible vacuum-matter boundary by considering the nonlinear coupling between the interface and the rarefaction effect. The nonrelativistic limit of the relativistic Navier-Stokes equations was considered and analytically solved by a perturbation approach. The critical reflux values associated with the product of the second-order body forcing and the Reynolds number (representing the viscous dissipations) decrease as the Knudsen number (representing the rarefaction measure) increases from zero to 0.1. We obtained the critical bounds for possible dark states corresponding to specific Reynolds numbers (ratio of wave inertia and viscous dissipation effects) and wave numbers which might be linked to the dissipative evolution of certain large-scale structure during the relativistic heavy-ion collisions.  相似文献

在全相对论理论框架下,利用多组态Dirac-Fock(MCDF)方法,系统计算了NⅡ离子2p4f—2p3d的辐射跃迁概率,得到的结果与已有实验值符合很好.具体计算中,详细分析了相对论效应、电子关联、弛豫效应、Breit相互作用和量子电动力学(QED)效应对能级精细结构及辐射跃迁概率的影响.结果表明:相对论效应、电子关联和弛豫效应对NⅡ 2p4f-2p3d辐射跃迁概率有很重要的影响,考虑了这些效应后计算值得到明显改善.  相似文献

The radiative cooling of electrons responsible for the nonthermal synchrotron emission of large-scale jets of radiogalaxies and quasars requires quasicontinuous (in time and space) production of relativistic electrons throughout the jets over the scales exceeding 100 kpc. While in the standard paradigm of large-scale jets this implies in situ acceleration of electrons, we propose a different "nonacceleration" origin of these electrons, assuming that they are implemented all over the length of the jet through effective development of electromagnetic cascades initiated by extremely high-energy gamma rays injected into the jet from the central object.  相似文献

A physical program of irradiation of emulsions in beams of relativistic nuclei named the BECQUEREL Project is reviewed. It is destined to study in detail the processes of relativistic fragmentation of light radioactive and stable nuclei. The expected results would make it possible to answer some topical questions concerning the cluster structure of light nuclei. Owing to the best spatial resolution, the nuclear emulsions would enable one to obtain unique and evident results. The most important irradiations will be performed in the secondary beams of He, Be, B, C, and N radioactive nuclei formed on the basis of JINR Nuclotron beams of stable nuclei. We present results on the charged state topology of relativistic fragmentation of the 10B nucleus at low energy-momentum transfers as the first step of the research.  相似文献

In the band structure of graphene,the dispersion relation is linear around a Dirac point at the corners of the Brillouin zone.The closed graphene system has proven to be the ideal model to investigate relativistic quantum chaos phenomena.The electromagnetic material photonic graphene(PG) and electronic graphene not only have the same structural symmetry,but also have the similar band structure.Thus,we consider a stadium shaped resonant cavity filled with PG to demonstrate the relativistic quantum chaos phenomenon by numerical simulation.It is interesting that the relativistic quantum scars not only are identified in the PG cavities,but also appear and disappear repeatedly.The wave vector difference between repetitive scars on the same orbit is analyzed and confirmed to follow the quantization rule.The exploration will not only demonstrate a visual simulation of relativistic quantum scars but also propose a physical system for observing valley-dependent relativistic quantum scars,which is helpful for further understanding of quantum chaos.  相似文献

The classical (first integral) methods of studying restrictions on the possible motion of gravitationally interacting bodies are reviewed. The simple and flexible inequality method is extended to a similar approach to the relationship between possible forbidden motion and (asymptotic) symmetries in the relativistic few-body problem. This extended method is used to reproduce the standard results of bounded motion for a test particle in a Schwarzschild geometry. The existence of bounded motion is shown for the general relativistic few-body problem and the difficulties in determining such bounded motion is analysed. The use of this approach to obtaining a relativistic alternative to the classical Roche lobe analysis in contact binaries is discussed.  相似文献

Single or/and multipeak solitons in plasma under relativistic electromagnetic field are reviewed. The incident electromagnetic field is allowed to have a zero or/and nonzero initial constant amplitude. Some interesting numerical results are obtained that include a high-number multipeak laser pulse and single or/and low-number multipeak plasma wake structures. It is also shown that there exists a combination of soliton and oscillation waves for plasma wake field. Also, the electron density exhibits multi-caviton structure or the combination of caviton and oscillation. A complete eigenvalue spectrum of parameters is given wherein some higher peak numbers of multipeak electromagnetic solitons in the plasma are included. Moreover, some interesting scaling laws are presented for field energy via numerical approaches. Some implications of results are discussed.   相似文献

We have studied the algebraic structure of the dynamical equations of a rotational relativistic Birkhoff system. It is proven that autonomous and semi-autonomous rotational relativistic Birkhoff equations possess consistent algebraic structure and Lie algebraic structure. In general, non-autonomous rotational relativistic Birkhoff equations possess no algebraic structure, but a type of special non-autonomous rotational relativistic Birkhoff equation possesses consistent algebraic structure and consistent Lie algebraic structure. Then, we obtain the Poisson integrals of the dynamical equations of the rotational relativistic Birkhoff system. Finally, we give an example to illustrate the application of the results.  相似文献
