Oscillation of Second-order Delay Differential Equation

By using some differential inequality, a second-order delay differential equation(r(t)x′(t))′ p(t)x(q(t)) = 0has been investigated and some necessary condition for this equation has a nonoscillatorysolution and some sufficient condition which ensures that all of the solutions of the aboveequation are oscillatory are obtained.     

Transportation inequalities for stochastic differential equations with jumps

For stochastic differential equations with jumps, we prove that _W1H$W_{1}H$ transportation inequalities hold for their invariant probability measures and for their process-level laws on the right-continuous path space w.r.t. the L¹$L^1$-metric and uniform metric, under dissipative conditions, via Malliavin calculus. Several applications to concentration inequalities are given.

Oscillation and Nonoscillation in Delay or Advanced Differential Equations and in Integrodifferential Equations

Some new oscillation and nonoscillation criteria are given for linear delay or advanced differential equations with variable coefficients and not (necessarily) constant delays or advanced arguments. Moreover, some new results on the existence and the nonexistence of positive solutions for linear integrodifferential equations are obtained.

Lyapunov-type Inequalities for a System of Nonlinear Differential Equations

This paper presents several new Lyapunov-type inequalities for a system of first-order nonlinear differential equations. Our results generalize and improve some existing ones.

The strengthened C.B.S. inequality constant for second order elliptic partial differential operator and for hierarchical bilinear finite element functions

We estimate the constant in the strengthened Cauchy-Bunyakowski-Schwarz inequality for hierarchical bilinear finite element spaces and elliptic partial differential equations with coefficients corresponding to anisotropy (orthotropy). It is shown that there is a nontrivial universal estimate, which does not depend on anisotropy. Moreover, this estimate is sharp and the same as for hierarchical linear finite element spaces.This research was supported by the Grant Agency of Czech Republic under the contract No. 201/02/0595.     

ASYMPTOTIC BEHAVIOR OF SOLUTION FOR A CLASS OF REACTION DIFFUSION EQUATIONS

A class of initial boundary value problems for the reaction diffusion equations are considered. The asymptotic behavior of solution for the problem is obtained using the theory of differential inequality.

分数阶微分不等式及其在分数阶奇摄动初值问题中的应用

利用分数阶微分方程与微分不等式之间的关系,得到了分数阶微分不等式的相关理论.基于此理论研究了分数阶微分方程的奇摄动初值问题,证明了其解的存在性.同时通过恰当不等式的解,估计了方程的精确解,进而得到分数阶奇摄动初值问题解的存在性及其渐进行为的一般结论..

Moment inequality and Hölder inequality for BSDEs

Under the Lipschitz and square integrable assumptions on the generator g of BSDEs, this paper proves that if g is positively homogeneous in （y, z） and is decreasing in y, then the Moment inequality for BSDEs with generator g holds in general, and if g is positively homogeneous and sub-additive in （y, z）, then the HSlder inequality and Minkowski inequality for BSDEs with generator g hold in general.
