The B-spline basis set plus complex scaling method is applied to the numerical calculation of the exact resonance parameters $E_r}$ and $\Ga/2$ of a hydrogen atom in parallel electric and magnetic fields. The method can calculate the ground and higher excited resonances accurately and efficiently. The resonance parameters with accuracies of $10^{-9}-10^{-12}$ for hydrogen atom in parallel fields with different field strengths and symmetries are presented and compared with previous ones. Extension to the calculation of Rydberg atom in crossed electric and magnetic fields and of atomic double excited states in external electric fields is discussed.  相似文献

利用半经典方法研究了平行电磁场中里德堡氢原子的分形自相似现象. 通过研究平行电磁场中里德堡氢原子的逃逸时间和初始出射角间的关系, 发现了逃逸时间图的自相似结构, 并通过研究与图中冰柱对应的逃逸轨道, 得到了自相似结构和逃逸轨道之间的关系, 发现了该类自相似逃逸轨道满足的规律. 进一步研究了标度能量和标度磁场对体系动力学的影响, 表明标度能量和标度磁场均控制体系的分形自相似结构. 当标度能量或标度磁场比较小时, 没有自相似现象, 随着标度能量或标度磁场的增大, 自相似出现, 体系变复杂.  相似文献

在球坐标下采用基组展开方法计算了均匀磁场中的氢原子高Rydberg态能谱和振子强度谱.径向和角向均采用高阶B样条基组. 径向采用B样条基组能很好地描述束缚态与连续态的耦合;角向采用B样条基组有效地减少了基组维数,计算效率得到大幅度提高. 用上述方法计算了磁场中氢原子Rydberg态-40cm-1到零场电离阈的高精度抗磁谱并与已有理论和实验结果作了比较. 该方法适用于低于离化阈的所有能区的精确谱计算并易于推广到非氢原子、交叉场中的原子以及高于离化阈的正能区光谱的计算. 关键词: 氢原子 B样条基组 能谱 振子强度谱  相似文献

Energies and wavefunctions of low-lying states and Rydberg states for the sodium atom in uniform magnetic fields varying from 0 to 10^5T are calculated using a pseudospectral approach with a model potential in spherical coordinates. The energies are comparable with experimental results as well as those obtained by other calculations. The spectra of oscillator strength are worked out. A B-spline-type basis set method for the calculation of hydrogen atom in strong magnetic fields in the frame of spheroidal coordinates has been introduced. High accurate energy levels of hydrogen in the magnetic field, with strength ranging from 0 to 1000 a.u., have been obtained. For the ground state, 1s0, energies with at least 11 significant digits have been obtained. For the low-lying excited state, 2p−1, energies with at least 9 significant digits are obtained. The method has also been applied to the calculation of hydrogen Rydberg states in laboratory magnetic fields. Energy spectra with at least 10 significant digits are presented. A comparison with other results in the literatures has been performed. Our results are comparable to the most accurate one up to date. A possible extension to the cases of parallel and crossed electric and magnetic fields have been discussed.  相似文献

半经典闭合轨道理论已经成功地计算了在外加磁场和平行电磁场中的里德堡原子的回归谱.但对于垂直电磁场中的里德堡原子,理论和计算都变得更为复杂.本文把闭合轨道理论推广到三维情况,采用 B.Hüpper的模型势计算了ε=-0.03,主量子数n≈ 40,m=0下He原子在垂直电磁场中的光吸收谱和回归谱,并和H原子在垂直电磁场中的回归谱作比较,突出了实散射的贡献.计算中应用了离子实散射的分区自洽迭代方法,并考虑到轨道的多次重复和离子实的多次散射效应.这是对闭合轨道理论的验证和进一步推广.  相似文献

The single-electron eigenstates of a cylindrical shell are determined as functions of the applied crossed electric and magnetic fields in the effective-mass approximation. The system considered consists of donor charges taken to be uniformly distributed within an inner core of infinitely long length. The core is concentrically enveloped by a semiconducting material of finite thickness; which is essentially the host material. This configuration of the donor charges sets up a spatially varying electric field nonetheless with only the radial component. In addition, a uniform magnetic field is applied parallel to the axis of symmetry of the inner core. As is well known, the axial applied magnetic field lifts the double degeneracies of the electron’s subbands characterized by the same azimuthal quantum numbers which differ only in sign. The main effect of increasing the external electric field is to elevate the various energy subbands, more or less to the same extent, to higher values. Further, evaluations of the oscillator strengths of optical transitions of the cylindrical shell are carried out within the dipole approximation. The radiation field is taken to be that of circularly polarized light incident along the axis of the core. The oscillator strengths of optical transitions are found to increase with an increase of the applied magnetic field, particularly in the regime of small magnetic fields. In contrast, the oscillator strengths of these optical interactions become suppressed as the donor charge density is increased.  相似文献

本文提出了一个一维μ介子原子模型,用数值积分方法求解了在超强激光场作用下该模型原子的含时Schrdinger方程,得到了它的高次谐波发射谱.该谱表明,借助于这一奇异原子模型,可将相干辐射由XUV波段推向γ-射线波段.针对这个体系的高次谐波发射效率低的缺点,引入双色场后使发射效率提高了两个数量级.  相似文献

Electric (E) fields induced near metal implants by MRI switched-gradient magnetic fields are calculated by a new equivalent-circuit numerical technique. Induced E-field results are found for a metallic spinal-fusion implant consisting of two thin wires connected to the metallic case of a current generator as well as for its subsections: a bare U-shaped wire, an insulated U-shaped wire, a cut insulated wire, and a generator. The presence of the metallic implants perturbs the E field significantly. Near the ends of the bare U-shaped wire, the E field is 89.7 times larger than in the absence of the wire. The greatest E field concentration occurs near the ends of the cut insulated wire, where the E field is 196.7 times greater than in the absence of the wire. In all cases, the perturbation of the induced E field by the implanted wire is highly localized within a few diameters of the wire.  相似文献

We study the edge-state band and transport property for a HgTe/CdTe quantum well Hall bar under the combined coupling of a transverse electric field and a perpendicular magnetic field. It is demonstrated that a weak magnetic field can protect one of the two edge states, open or enlarge a gap of the other edge state in the Hall bar. However, an appropriate electric field can remove the gap, restoring the quantum spin Hall effect. Using the scattering matrix method, we study the electronic transport of the system. We find that the electric field can not only make the switch from pure spin-up to spin-down current, but also open or close the edge-state channels in a narrow Hall bar under a weak magnetic field, which provides us with a new way to construct a topological insulator-based spin switch and charge switch.  相似文献

The photoionization cross-sections of the hydrogen atom in strong magnetic fields of magnetic White Dwarf stars were calculated with a direct numerical integration method using the Landau basis as a high field approach. The validity regime of these solutions overlap with those of the spherical symmetry and complement other recently developed methods. An important result is the relation between the density of states and the normalization for the more than one open channel regime leading to additional coupling terms not taken into account by multi channel quantum defect methods.
