Terminal alkynes react with aromatic sulfonyl chlorides in the presence of an iron(II) catalyst and a phosphine ligand to give (E)-β-chlorovinylsulfones with 100% regio- and stereoselectivity. Various functional groups, such as chloride, bromide, iodide, nitro, ketone, and aldehyde, are tolerated under the reaction conditions. Addition of tosyl chloride to a 1,6-enyne followed by radical 5-exo-trig cyclization gave an exocyclic alkenylsulfone.  相似文献

Heteroaromatic thiols may be oxidized to the sulfonyl chloride at low temperature (-25 degrees C) by using 3.3 equiv of aqueous sodium hypochlorite. The reaction is rapid, avoids the use of chlorine gas, and succeeds with substrates that have previously been found to afford little or none of the sulfonamide product with other procedures. The method allows the preparation of the sulfonyl fluorides, which are stable enough to be purified and stored, making them potentially useful monomers in parallel chemistry efforts.  相似文献

The living radical polymerization of methyl methacrylate initiated from aromatic sulfonyl chlorides and catalyzed by the new catalytic systems CuSBu/bpy CuSPh/bpy and CuCCPh/bpy (bpy = 2,2′‐bipyridine) is described. For a target degree of polymerization of 200, lowering the ratio of catalyst to sulfonyl chloride group from 1/1 to 0.25/1 mol/mol decreases the values of the experimental rate constant of polymerization from 5.12 × 10−2, 2.4 × 10−2, and 1.87 × 10−2 min−1 to 1.8 × 10−3, 4.9 × 10−3, and 4.2 × 10−3 min−1 for CuSBu, CuSPh, and CuCCPh, respectively, whereas the corresponding initiator efficiency increases from 62 to 99%. The external orders of reaction in the catalyst are 0.79 for CuSPh, 0.88 for CuCCPh, and 1.64 for CuSBu. A mechanistic interpretation that involves the in situ generation of, most likely, the real catalyst CuCl, starting from combinations of CuSBu, CuSPh, and CuCCPh and sulfonyl chloride or alkyl halide growing species, is suggested. © 2000 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. NMP-mediated chlorination of aliphatic alcohols has been developed for the synthesis of alkyl chlorides. This facile, efficient and practical approach used simple and readily available aryl sulfonyl chlorides as the chlorination reagent for the construction of C–Cl bond in good to excellent yields with mild conditions and broad substrate scope.  相似文献

The cross-coupling of aromatic and aliphatic acyl chlorides with arylboronic acids in the presence of 2.5 mol % of (t-Bu2POH)2PdCl2 (POPd) provides rapid access to ketones that are obtained in up to 93% yield. This palladium-phosphinous acid-catalyzed reaction is completed within 10 min when microwave irradiation is used, and it overcomes typical drawbacks of Friedel-Crafts acylation procedures such as harsh reaction conditions, untunable regiocontrol, and low substrate scope.  相似文献

The syntheses of 4- and 5-chlorosulfonylfuran-2-carboxylic acid (Ia,IIa), 4-chlorosulfonylfuran-2-carboxamide (Ib), 3,5-dimethylpyrazole and isoxazole-4-sulfonyl chlorides (IIIa,IVa) and 2,4-dimethylthiazole-5-sulfonyl chloride (Va) are described. The sulfonyl chlorides were converted into a range of amides, hydrazides and azides. Condensation of the sulfonohydrazides with β-dicarbonyl compounds, gave the corresponding β-ketohydrazones (VII), which, with the exception of the derivatives (VIIe,f,g,i), were converted to the sulfonylpyrazoles (VIII). The structures and spectral data of these compounds are briefly discussed. The reaction of the sodio derivative of acetylacetone with thiophene-2-sulfonyl chloride (VIc) gave 3-(thiophene-2-sulfonyl)pentane-2,4-dione (XII), which with hydrazine gave 4-(thiophene-2-sulfonyl)-3,5-dimethylpyrazole (XIII). However, the analogous reaction with thiophene-2-sulfonohydrazide (VIa) failed to give the expected 1,4-bisthiophenesulfonylpyrazole.  相似文献

Iridium complexes show high catalytic activity in intermolecular additions of acid chlorides to terminal alkynes to afford valuable (Z)-β-chloro-α,β-unsaturated ketones. Ligands in the catalytic system play a crucial role in this reaction. An N-heterocyclic carbene (NHC) is an efficient ligand for the addition of aroyl chlorides, while dicyclohexyl(2-methylphenyl)phosphine (PCy(2)(o-Tol)) is indispensable for the reaction of aliphatic acid chlorides. The addition reactions proceed regio- and stereoselectively with suppression of decarbonylation and β-hydrogen elimination, which have been two major intrinsic problems in transition-metal-catalyzed reactions. Stoichiometric reactions of active iridium catalysts with aroyl chlorides and aliphatic acid chlorides are carried out to gain insights into the reaction mechanisms.  相似文献

A variety of polysubstituted 1H-indenes can be prepared through the copper-catalyzed arylative cyclization of simple arylalkynes with commercially available aromatic sulfonyl chlorides that function as an aryl group donor. The reaction tolerates a broad range of functional groups, including bromide and iodide, nitrile, ketone, and nitro groups. The reaction allowed the synthesis of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, such as a bis(indene), indacene, and fused polyarene derivatives, some of them showing strong fluorescence in solution and the solid state.  相似文献

An iron-catalyzed regio- and stereoselective chlorosulfonylation of aryl chloroalkynes has been described, producing cis-1,2-dichlorovinylsulfones in satisfactory yields with good to excellent stereoselectivity (Z/E up to 95:5). Triflyl azide serves as an efficient diazo transfer reagent in this first direct synthesis of sulfonyl azides from readily available and stable sulfonamides. The process is experimentally simple, mild, and high-yielding. Arene and phenylmethanesulfonyl chlorides can be cross-coupled with aryl, heteroaryl, and alkenylstannanes with desulfitation in the presence of 10 mol % CuBr.Me2S, 1.5 mol % Pd2dba3, and 5 mol % tri-2-furylphosphine in tetrahydrofuran or toluene under reflux. This extension of the Stille cross-coupling reaction realizes a new and economical method for the generation of C-C bonds. The palladium-catalyzed carbonylative Stille cross-coupling reactions of arenesulfonyl chlorides and organostannanes in the presence of CO (60 bar) at 110 degrees C in toluene generate the corresponding ketones. Arenesulfonyl chlorides are more reactive than aryl chlorides and aryl bromides in their Stille cross-coupling with organostannanes but less reactive than aryl iodides. The new methods disclosed for the generation of C-C bonds open new possibilities for medicinal chemistry and material sciences.  相似文献

Treatment of o-nitrobenzenesulfonyl chloride ( 3 ) with 5-aminotetrazole (5-AT) gave [(2-nitrophenyl)-sulfonyl]carbamimidic azide ( 6 ), a ring-opened isomer of the expected N-(1H-tetrazol-5-yl)-2-nitrobenzenesulfonamide ( 4 ). Sulfonylcarbamimidic azide 6 was converted to 2-amino-N-(aminoiminomethyl)benzene-sulfonamide ( 7 ) with ethanolic stannous chloride, and to 3-amino-1,2,4-thiadiazine 1,1-dioxide ( 8 ) with sodium dithionite. Methanesulfonyl chloride ( 9 ) and 5-AT gave 2-(methylsulfonyl)carbamimidic azide ( 10 ), which isomerized to 5-[(methylsulfonyl)amino]-1H-tetrazole ( 11 ) in warm ethanol. Attempted cycloaddition of 2-(phenylsulfonyl)carbamimidic azide ( 13 ) and ethyl vinyl ether led only to alkylated tetrazole products. In addition, other tetrazole-alkylating reactions are described. Isomers produced from these alkylations were differentiated with 13C nmr spectroscopy.  相似文献
