The concept of the Phase Field is currently widely used in the Theory of Phase Transitions and Material science. The Penrose–Fife phase field model is now a well-established model in these fields. In the course of study of this model both the rigorous mathematical results and approximate solutions were obtained. However, to the best of our knowledge, no exact solutions were given in the literature. In the present paper we give exact travelling wave solutions for this system. While the functional form of the solutions is rather simple, the dependence of solutions on the parameters of the model is quite complicated. Also, an interesting link between this model and the Convective-Viscous Cahn–Hilliard equation is established.  相似文献

为了验证现有模型的精度,导出了全反射下边界双层波导中简正波耦合矩阵的解析表达式,并将其应用到全局矩阵耦合简正波模型(Direct Global Matrix Coupled-Mode)中,使得该模型可以提供水平变化双层波导问题的标准解。文中首先利用COUPLE的简正波及耦合矩阵数值解验证了该简正波及耦合矩阵解析表达式的正确性;其次,采用改进的DGMCM模型求解了双层波导海山声传播损失,结果表明,改进后的DGMCM模型可以非常精确地求解水平变化双层波导问题,可作为求解此类问题的标准模型使用。  相似文献

This paper presents a three-dimensional(3D) coupled-mode model using the direct-global-matrix technique as well as Fourier synthesis. This model is a full wave, two-way three-dimensional model, and is therefore capable of providing accurate acoustic field solutions. Because the problem of sound propagation excited by a point source in an ideal wedge with perfectly reflecting boundaries is one of a few three-dimensional problems with analytical solutions, the ideal wedge problem is chosen in this work to validate the presented three-dimensional model. Numerical results show that the field results by analytical solutions and those by the presented model are in excellent agreement, indicating that the presented model can serve as a benchmark model for three-dimensional sound propagation problems involving a planar two-dimensional geometry as well as a point source.  相似文献

The exact solutions of a new coupled Burgers system are studied in three different ways. The first type of solutions are found thanks to the coupled Burgers system possessing a simple single Burgers reduction. The second type of multiple soliton solutions are revealed via the decouple procedure. The third type of exact solutions are found by means of a prior ansatz and solutions of the heat conduction equation. Two different kinds of soliton fission phenomena of the model are discovered and a special type of completely elastic soliton collision without phase shift of the model is also displayed.  相似文献

In the materials of micro-structured, the propagation of wave modeling should take into account the scale of various microstructures. The different kinds solitary wave solutions of strain wave dynamical model are derived via utilizing exp\((-\phi(\xi))\)-expansion and extended simple equation methods. This dynamical equation plays a key role in engineering and mathematical physics. Solutions obtained in this work include periodic solitary waves, Kink and anti-Kink solitary waves, bell-shaped solutions, solitons, and rational solutions. These exact solutions help researchers for knowing the physical phenomena of this wave equation. The stability of this dynamical model is examined via standard linear stability analysis, which authenticate that the model is stable and their solutions are exact. Graphs are depicted for knowing the movements of some solutions. The results show that the current methods, by the assist of symbolic calculation, give an effectual and direct mathematical tools for resolving the nonlinear problems in applied sciences.  相似文献

通过利用标准简正波程序KRAKEN计算本地简正波解及耦合矩阵, 进一步发展了求解水平变化波导中声场的全局矩阵耦合简正波方法(Luo et al., "A numerically stable coupled-mode formulation for acoustic propagation in range-dependent waveguides," Sci. China-Phys. Mech. Astron. 55, 572 (2012)), 使得该方法可以处理具有可穿透海底及随深度变化声速剖面等实际问题, 并提供声场的完全双向解. 本文还给出了双层波导中耦合矩阵的解析表达式, 并利用其验证了本方法中耦合矩阵数值算法的精度. 最后, 利用改善后的全局矩阵耦合简正波模型(DGMCM)计算了美国声学学会(ASA)提出的可穿透楔形波导标准问题, 将所得数值解与参考解比较, 结果表明DGMCM方法可以精确处理水平变化波导中声传播实际问题. 关键词: 耦合简正波理论 全局矩阵方法 可穿透楔形波导  相似文献

We derive the weakly nonlocal limit of a one-population neuronal field model of the Wilson-Cowan type in one spatial dimension. By transforming this equation to an equation in the firing rate variable, it is shown that stationary periodic solutions exist by appealing to a pseudo-potential analysis. The solutions of the full nonlocal equation obey a uniform bound, and the stationary periodic solutions in the weakly nonlocal limit satisfying the same uniform bound are characterized by finite ranges of pseudo energy constants. The time dependent version of the model is reformulated as a Ginzburg-Landau-Khalatnikov type of equation in the firing rate variable where the maximum (minimum) points correspond stable (unstable) homogeneous solutions of the weakly nonlocal limit. Based on this formulation it is also conjectured that the stationary periodic solutions are unstable. We implement a numerical method for the weakly nonlocal limit of the Wilson-Cowan type of model based on the wavelet-Galerkin approach. We perform some numerical tests to illustrate the stability of homogeneous solutions and the evolution of the bumps.  相似文献

We construct solutions of the 3 + 1 dimensional Faddeev–Skyrme model coupled to Einstein gravity. The solutions are static and asymptotically flat. They are characterized by a topological Hopf number. We investigate the dependence of the ADM masses of gravitating Hopfions on the gravitational coupling. When gravity is coupled to flat space solutions, a branch of gravitating Hopfion solutions arises and merges at a maximal value of the coupling constant with a second branch of solutions. This upper branch has no flat space limit. Instead, in the limit of a vanishing coupling constant, it connects to either the Bartnik–McKinnon or a generalized Bartnik–McKinnon solution. We further find that in the strong-coupling limit, there is no difference between the gravitating solitons of the Skyrme model and the Faddeev–Skyrme model.  相似文献

A lattice Boltzmann model of KdV-Burgers equation is derived by using the single-relaxation form of the lattice Boltzmann equation. With the present model, we simulate the traveling-wave solutions, the solitary-wave solutions, and the sock-wave solutions of KdV-Burgers equation, and calculate the decay factor and the wavelength of the sock-wave solution, which has exponential decay. The numerical results agree with the analytical solutions quite well.  相似文献

In this article, we analyze the stability and the associated bifurcations of several types of pulse solutions in a singularly perturbed three-component reaction-diffusion equation that has its origin as a model for gas discharge dynamics. Due to the richness and complexity of the dynamics generated by this model, it has in recent years become a paradigm model for the study of pulse interactions. A mathematical analysis of pulse interactions is based on detailed information on the existence and stability of isolated pulse solutions. The existence of these isolated pulse solutions is established in previous work. Here, the pulse solutions are studied by an Evans function associated to the linearized stability problem. Evans functions for stability problems in singularly perturbed reaction-diffusion models can be decomposed into a fast and a slow component, and their zeroes can be determined explicitly by the NLEP method. In the context of the present model, we have extended the NLEP method so that it can be applied to multi-pulse and multi-front solutions of singularly perturbed reaction-diffusion equations with more than one slow component. The brunt of this article is devoted to the analysis of the stability characteristics and the bifurcations of the pulse solutions. Our methods enable us to obtain explicit, analytical information on the various types of bifurcations, such as saddle-node bifurcations, Hopf bifurcations in which breathing pulse solutions are created, and bifurcations into travelling pulse solutions, which can be both subcritical and supercritical.  相似文献

This paper addresses the nonlinear Schrödinger's equation that serves as the model to study the propagation of optical solitons through nonlinear optical fibers. The main focus of this paper is the aspect of integrability. There are a couple of integration tools that are employed to obtain the exact solutions to the model. Fan's F-expansion approach is applied to extract several forms of solutions to the model. This integration mechanism displays cnoidal waves, snoidal waves and several other solutions; needless to mention that these solutions, in the limiting case, leads to bright, dark and singular soliton solutions. The study then rolls over to the (2 + 1)-dimensions where, in addition, the semi-inverse variational principle is applied to extract a bright soliton solution, along with the necessary constraint conditions. We investigate the (1+1) dimensional Rothe Stamatescu (RS) and Thirring models. A functional integral method based on a chiral change of fermionic variables is used to obtain the general class of solutions in the RS model. The results are then reproduced in an operator formalism. Finally a connection of the solutions with perturbation theory is briefly discussed. The functional method is then applied to reproduce the familiar one parameter class of solutions existing in the Thirring model. An operator fit differing from the standard ones is proposed which is consistent with the solutions obtained by the path integral approach.  相似文献

The open anisotropic cosmological model of the early Universe is considered. Two interacting scalar fields with special form of potential energy are a source of matter fields. Analytic solutions for inflationary and scalaron stages are found. The exact solutions to the corresponding field equations are obtained in quadrature form. The cosmological parameters have been discussed in detail and it is also shown that the solutions tend asymptotically to isotropic Friedmann-Robertson-Walker cosmological model.  相似文献

Some generahed scalar field models are presented. It is shown that there exist generally three types of soliton solutions for the extended models. The form of the first type of the soliton solutions is model-independent. An arbitrary constant can be included in the second type of the soliton excitations which is model-dependent. The third type of the soliton solutions is also modeldependent but with no arbitrary constant. The extended φ4 model and sine-Gordon model are studied in detail.  相似文献
