ON THE SYMPLECTIC REDUCTIONS

A symplectic reduction method for symplectic G-spaces is given in this paper without using the existence of momentum mappings. By a method similar to the above one, the arthors give a symplectic reduction method for the Poisson action of Poisson Lie groups on symplectic manifolds, also without using the existence of momentum mappings. The symplectic reduction method for momentum mappings is thus a special case of the above results.

The existence of zeros of set-valued mappings in reflexive Banach spaces

In this paper, we establish the equivalence between the existence of zeros for set-valued mappings and the solvability of variational inequality, under some conditions involving the generalized projection operator. Basing on this result, we obtain some existence theorems of zeros for quasimonotone set-valued mappings. As application, we derive several fixed point theorems for generalized inward mappings in Hilbert spaces.     

Existence and properties of inverse mappings

Nonlinear mappings in Banach spaces are considered. The covering property, metric regularity, and the existence of a continuous right inverse are considered for these mappings under various assumptions of smoothness. Several regularity conditions that guarantee the local covering property and the existence of a continuous right inverse are presented.     

Ekeland's ε-variational principle for set-valued mappings

In this paper, we introduce the concept of approximate solutions for set-valued mappings and provide a sufficient condition for the existence of approximate solutions of set-valued mappings. We obtain an approximate variational principle for set-valued mappings. Revised version received November 1997     

Contractive mappings, Kannan mappings and metric completeness

In this paper, we first study the relationship between weakly contractive mappings and weakly Kannan mappings. Further, we discuss characterizations of metric completeness which are connected with the existence of fixed points for mappings. Especially, we show that a metric space is complete if it has the fixed point property for Kannan mappings.

     

Existence and stability of fixed point set of Suzuki-type contractive multivalued operators in <Emphasis Type="Italic">b</Emphasis>-metric spaces with applications in delay differential equations

In this paper, we introduce a class of Suzuki-type contractive multivalued mappings and establish the existence of fixed points of such mappings in the setup of b-metric spaces. Some examples are presented to support the results proved herein. An estimate of Hausdorff distance between the fixed point sets of two Suzuki-type contractive multivalued mappings is obtained. As an application of results thus obtained, existence and uniqueness of periodic solution of delay differential equations are shown.     

Coefficient bounds for biholomorphic mappings which have a parametric representation

The main purpose of this paper is to prove a collection of new fixed point theorems for so-called weakly F-contractive mappings. By analogy, we introduce also a class of strongly F-expansive mappings and we prove fixed point theorems for such mappings. We provide a few examples, which illustrate these results and, as an application, we prove an existence and uniqueness theorem for the generalized Fredholm integral equation of the second kind. Finally, in Appendix A, we apply the Mönch fixed point theorem to prove two results on the existence of approximate fixed points of some continuous mappings.     

Fixed point theorems for hybrid multivalued mappings in Hilbert spaces

In this paper, we introduce a new concept of hybrid multivalued mappings in Hilbert spaces. We then prove some properties and the existence of fixed points of these mappings. Further, we prove weak and strong convergence theorems for a finite family of hybrid multivalued mappings.

设E是一实的p一致凸Banach空间.利用渐近中心,E中范数不等式和逐次逼近的思想,本文证明了E中非Lipschitz映象的连续半群的不动点存在的定理.该定理本质上把Lipschitz半群的不动点存在性的研究推广到了非Lipschitz映象的连续半群的情况.另一方面,应用该定理,还得到了非Lipschitz映象的渐近非扩张型半群的渐近行为方面的一些结果.     

Positive eigenvalues for nonlinear multivalued noncompact operators with applications to differential operators

The first part of Section 1 contains two theorems concerning the existence of positive eigenvalues and corresponding eigenvectors for multivalued and not necessarily compact mappings. Theorem 1 contains as special cases the Birkhoff-Kellogg and Krasnoselskii theorems for single-valued compact mappings while Theorem 2 includes a single-valued result of Reich and some results of Schaefer concerning the existence of positive eigenvalues. The second part of Section 1 contains Theorem 3, which extends another result of Schaefer for positive compact mappings to positive eigenvalue problems involving not necessarily compact mappings. In Section 2 our Theorem 1 is applied to positive eigenvalue problems involving quasilinear ordinary integro-differential operators, quasilinear elliptic operators, and nonlinear ordinary differential operators.

Attracting basins in ℙ2

We prove the existence of infinitely many attracting basins for some holomorphic mappings in ℙ². We also show that if a family of mappings has a complex generic homoclinic tangency, then some of the mappings in the family have an attractive periodic fixed point.

Minimum of a functional in a metric space and fixed points

The existence of minimizers is examined for a function defined on a metric space. Theorems are proved that assert the existence of minimizers, and examples of the functions for which these theorems are valid are given. Then, these theorems are applied to proving theorems on fixed points of univalent and multivalued mappings of metric spaces. Finally, coincident points of two mappings are examined.     

角域内的K-拟亚纯映射的基本不等式及其应用

Variational inequalities on weakly compact sets

In this paper, we derive an existence result for generalized variational inequalities associated with multivalued mappings on weakly compact sets under a continuity assumption which is much weaker than the regular complete continuity. As an application, we prove the existence of exceptional families of elements for such mappings on closed convex cones in reflexive Banach spaces when the corresponding complementarity problems have no solutions.     

一维映射迭代根的非单调性及光滑性

迭代根问题是动力系统嵌入流问题的弱问题,是动态插值方法的基础.然而,即使是对一维映射,迭代根的非单调性和全局光滑性都是困难的问题.本文介绍这方面的若干新结果,尤其是关于严格逐段单调连续函数的连续迭代根的存在性和构造,以及迭代根局部光滑与全局光滑的新进展.最后给出多项式迭代根这类既严格逐段单调又具光滑性的迭代根的存在条件及计算方法.     

Some Results on Best Proximity Points

We study the existence and uniqueness of best proximity points for two classes of non-self-contractive mappings: almost (φ,θ)-contractive mappings and Meir–Keeler-type contractive mappings.
