We study twisted modules for (weak) quantum vertex algebras and we give a conceptual construction of (weak) quantum vertex algebras and their twisted modules. As an application we construct and classify irreducible twisted modules for a certain family of quantum vertex algebras.  相似文献

Block introduced certain analogues of the Zassenhaus algebras over a field of characteristic 0. The nongraded infinite-dimensional simple Lie algebras of Block type constructed by Xu can be viewed as generalizations of the Block algebras. In this paper, we construct a family of irreducible modules in terms of multiplication and differentiation operators on "polynomials" for four-devivation nongraded Lie algebras of Block type based on the finite-dimensional irreducible weight modules with multiplicity one of general linear Lie algebras. We also find a new series of submodules from which some irreducible quotient modules are obtained.  相似文献

In this paper we study the representation theory for certain “half lattice vertex algebras.” In particular we construct a large class of irreducible modules for these vertex algebras. We also discuss how the representation theory of these vertex algebras are related to the representation theory of some associative algebras.  相似文献

We construct irreducible modules of centrally-extended classical Lie algebras over left ideals of the algebra of differential operators on the circle, through certain irreducible modules of centrally-extended classical Lie algebras of infinite matrices with finite number of nonzero entries. The structures of vertex algebras associated with the vacuum representations of these algebras are determined. Moreover, we prove that under certain conditions, the highest-weight irreducible modules of centrally-extended classical Lie algebras of infinite matrices with finite number of nonzero entries naturally give rise to the irreducible modules of the simple quotients of these vertex algebras. From vertex algebra and its representation point of view, our results with positive integral central charge are high-order differential operator analogues of the well-known WZW models in conformal field theory associated with affine Kac-Moody algebras. Indeed, when the left ideals are the algebra of differential operators, our Lie algebras do contain affine Kac-Moody algebras as subalgebras and our results restricted on them are exactly the representation contents in WZW models. Similar results with negative central charge are also obtained.  相似文献

Necessary and sufficient conditions for the first cohomology group of an algebraic group with irreducible root system over an algebraically closed field of characteristicp > 0 to be isomorphic to the corresponding first cohomology group of the Lie algebra of the group with coefficients in simple modules are obtained. The spaces of outer derivations of the classical modular Lie algebras are evaluated forp > 2.  相似文献

Inspired by recent activities on Whittaker modules over various (Lie) algebras, we describe a general framework for the study of Lie algebra modules locally finite over a subalgebra. As a special case, we obtain a very general set-up for the study of Whittaker modules, which includes, in particular, Lie algebras with triangular decomposition and simple Lie algebras of Cartan type. We describe some basic properties of Whittaker modules, including a block decomposition of the category of Whittaker modules and certain properties of simple Whittaker modules under some rather mild assumptions. We establish a connection between our general set-up and the general set-up of Harish-Chandra subalgebras in the sense of Drozd, Futorny and Ovsienko. For Lie algebras with triangular decomposition, we construct a family of simple Whittaker modules (roughly depending on the choice of a pair of weights in the dual of the Cartan subalgebra), describe their annihilators, and formulate several classification conjectures. In particular, we construct some new simple Whittaker modules for the Virasoro algebra. Finally, we construct a series of simple Whittaker modules for the Lie algebra of derivations of the polynomial algebra, and consider several finite-dimensional examples, where we study the category of Whittaker modules over solvable Lie algebras and their relation to Koszul algebras.  相似文献

We study vertex algebras and their modules associated with possibly degenerate even lattices, using an approach somewhat different from others. Several known results are recovered and a number of new results are obtained. We also study modules for Heisenberg algebras and we classify irreducible modules satisfying certain conditions and obtain a complete reducibility theorem.  相似文献

We propose a very general construction of simple Virasoro modules generalizing and including both highest weight and Whittaker modules. This construction enables us to classify all simple Virasoro modules that are locally finite over a positive part. To obtain those irreducible Virasoro modules, we use simple modules over a family of finite dimensional solvable Lie algebras. For one of these algebras, all simple modules are classified by R. Block and we extend this classification to the next member of the family. As a result, we recover many known but also construct a lot of new simple Virasoro modules. We also propose a revision of the setup for study of Whittaker modules.  相似文献

We investigate the category of finite-dimensional representations of twisted hyper-loop algebras, i.e., the hyperalgebras associated to twisted loop algebras over finite-dimensional simple Lie algebras. The main results are the classification of the irreducible modules, the definition of the universal highest-weight modules, called the Weyl modules, and, under a certain mild restriction on the characteristic of the ground field, a proof that the simple modules and the Weyl modules for the twisted hyper-loop algebras are isomorphic to appropriate simple and Weyl modules for the nontwisted hyper-loop algebras, respectively, via restriction of the action.  相似文献

Lie-Yamaguti algebras (or generalized Lie triple systems) are binary-ternary algebras intimately related to reductive homogeneous spaces. The Lie-Yamaguti algebras which are irreducible as modules over their inner derivation algebras are the algebraic counterparts of the isotropy irreducible homogeneous spaces. These systems splits into three disjoint types: adjoint type, non-simple type and generic type. The systems of the first two types were classified in a previous paper through a generalized Tits Construction of Lie algebras. In this paper, the Lie-Yamaguti algebras of generic type are classified by relating them to several other nonassociative algebraic systems: Lie and Jordan algebras and triple systems, Jordan pairs or Freudenthal triple systems.  相似文献

In this paper, we give a new realization of crystal bases for finite-dimensional irreducible modules over classical Lie algebras. The basis vectors are parameterized by certain Young walls lying between highest weight and lowest weight vectors.

We study irreducible representations for the Lie algebra of vector fields on a 2-dimensional torus constructed using the generalized Verma modules. We show that for a certain choice of parameters these representations remain irreducible when restricted to a loop subalgebra in the Lie algebra of vector fields. We prove this result by studying vertex algebras associated with the Lie algebra of vector fields on a torus and solving non-commutative differential equations that we derive using the vertex algebra technique.  相似文献

In this paper, using Larsson’s functor with irreducible 𝔰𝔩2-modules V, we construct a class of ?2-graded modules for the Virasoro-like algebra and its q-analogs. We determine the irreducibility of these modules for finite-dimensional or infinite-dimensional V using a unified method. In particular, these modules provide new irreducible weight modules with infinite-dimensional weight spaces for the corresponding algebras.  相似文献

In finite dimensional Lie algebras, Jordan algebras, and other algebraic structures the study of derivations has been facilitated by having a nontrivial trace formula on hand (see for example [?]) . Tuere is no common pattern in proving these trace formulas, they all depend on the underlying structures. In this note we derive such a trace formula for finite dimensional central simple Jordan pairs. We use it to determine all derivations the Killing form and the dimensions of the derivation algebras of the Jordan pairs. Dur primary tool is a Trace Reduction Formula.  相似文献

The classical central simple theory of associative algebras generalizes, in this article, to a central simple theory of nonassociative algebras with operators and a related central irreducible theory of modules. These theories are motivated by, and apply to, problems of constructing and classifying simple Jordan Lie algebras, irreducible modules, and birings.  相似文献

We characterize the canonical algebras such that for all dimension vectors of homogeneous modules the corresponding module varieties are complete intersections (respectively, normal). We also investigate the sets of common zeros of semi-invariants of non-zero degree in important cases. In particular, we show that for sufficiently big vectors they are complete intersections and calculate the number of their irreducible components.  相似文献

The aim of this article is to study the structure of the modules over a trivial algebra of dimension two in the variety ? of commutative and power-associative algebras. In particular, we classify the irreducible modules. These results enables us to understand better the structure of finite-dimensional power-associative algebras of nilindex 4.  相似文献

We give algebraic and geometric classifications of 4-dimensional complex nilpotent terminal algebras. Specifically, we find that, up to isomorphism, there are 41 one-parameter families of 4-dimensional nilpotent terminal (non-Leibniz) algebras, 18 two-parameter families of 4-dimensional nilpotent terminal (non-Leibniz) algebras, 2 three-parameter families of 4-dimensional nilpotent terminal (non-Leibniz) algebras, complemented by 21 additional isomorphism classes (see Theorem 13). The corresponding geometric variety has dimension 17 and decomposes into 3 irreducible components determined by the Zariski closures of a one-parameter family of algebras, a two-parameter family of algebras and a three-parameter family of algebras (see Theorem 15). In particular, there are no rigid 4-dimensional complex nilpotent terminal algebras.  相似文献
